its so INSANE to me that we can have A TWO PART EPISODE about virgil & his acceptance. have an entire arc where they show that virgil is not a bad side 4 his mistakes, & NOT have people apply that to ANY ONE ELSE. Have people watch that & STILL proceed 2 fucking attack janus as soon as he reveals himself for "being evil". STILL have people attack logan & roman . STILL have people attack patton in later episodes, simply because the other sides start to not like him or call him out on his mistakes . like HEAD IN HANDS.

I've come asking for directors commentary on heard no more. Mostly in general, anything you have to say. But also the scene where Remus comes and wants Virgil up, kind of solidifying Virginia perception of what's going on
Also, I'm a little curious who Remus is, since if he was Roman's brother, wouldn't Virgil have at least heard a rumor about him?
May or may not be back later with more questions :) <3
The biggest thing to remember is that we are dealing with an unreliable narrator and Virgil has met Remus before--but the reason his brain isn't going to "Oh this isnt Roman, this is Remus" is because the moment Remus asked "Oh btw where is Roman? Is he in some secret part of the Prince's Quarters I dont know about? >:)" that was game over, Virgil's "His Eminence digging for information" senses went on high alert. He realizes correctly this isnt a dream but his brain is still in survival mode so he automatically assumes he cant let his guard down and that is another ploy by his tormenter.
But let's examine the scene from Remus's perspective.
Be you, the only son and heir to a bloodline that has sat on the throne for centuries that has some Game of Thrones levels of political fuckery but with zero incest involved
Your father is the High King that rules over all the other Noble Houses, who in turn oversee particular provinces and important trading cities.
He's also a bit of a jerk
While there is a line of succession to the throne, potential successors are allowed to challenge a current ruling King/Crown Heir for their place. This rarely happens due to political factors involved.
Your father's twin brother Janus (your uncle) decides to challenge him for the throne.
You are 5 years old when you witness your uncle killing your father and thus earning the right to ascend the throne
In the bloody political struggle that ensues (where you are almost very much murdered by your uncle's supporters), you are sent to a countryside villa, out of sight out of mind
You remain there for years until one day your uncle summons you to the Royal Castle and abruptly announces that he's adopting you and you're now going to live there as a member of the Royal family
Living in the countryside away from nobility apparently makes you Extremely Strange in their eyes. They also seem to think you've been stewing for years, awaiting to avenge your father by taking back the throne
Really you could care less, but it's fun to play along and rile them up.
Despite bringing you to the castle, your uncle wants nothing to do with you. Although, really, you're nothing special in that regard--he doesn't want to interact with anyone. Regardless, you don't care. You are curious and you sneak into his quarters to strike up conversations, because you know he won't kill you (he had the chance years ago to do so)
Your little cousin Roman (who is technically now your adoptive brother) hates your guts. Thats ok, everyone hates your guts. You're the remnant of a defeated line, you should be either dead or exiled right now
So you grow up and continue living in the castle, being a general menace while finding your own way of belonging
You catch wind of the Court Mage's apprentice disappearing one day--such a shame, really, you were hoping to get better acquainted with him
(the two of you have only had a few brief chats after that one time he tried to kill you)
There's a frantic search for him but months go by without a word
Until you arrive back from an excursion to find out apparently he's back
Weeks pass and no one will say anything about his condition. You've never been good at denying your curiosity so you decide to take a peek for yourself.
And well! He's apparently been holed up in Roman's quarters, which is Interesting and you decide to tease him about it, since he was usually an easy target
Except, well, shit rather than give you a biting sarcastic retort, his gaze just goes completely Vacant and he doesn't respond to anything further you have to say
So you yell for someone to get into the room and handle your fuck up, which does get you yelled at for intruding where you didnt belong
And normally you dont care about making a fuck up, but for some reason you feel guilt at inciting such a reaction to the stormy ex-assassin.

I’m switching my brain back to that Promethean/Muse!Patton fic.
Since the name Patton is a derivation/diminutive of the name Patrick.
I think this version of Patton probably(?) was inspired by Saint Patrick in some fashion - as he converts into Catholicism. One thing I think is delightful is how St. Patrick’s name is invoked against snakes. *Insert obvious reference to Janus.*
Not totally sure how much the fact this saint being a patron for engineers and paralegals resonates with the guy but - he might well have fixated on the pretty stained glass windows there and thought it sounded cool. At this point - Patton is VERY new to existence sooo- he might just have a superficial reason like that.
(I thought about General Patton, but the general had more decoration in WW2, this expository moment happening in the tail end of WW1 makes that a little less likely. That said, the focus of the fic is going to happen in the 80s.)
Not sure where I’m going with that.
But Hollow!Janus got his name inspiration from an elder parishioner - learning the roots of the month January. Though, given the Roman god status of his namesake - it’s a bit more of a... pagan name.
Idk, man. I like playing with these two having some parallel origins as Prometheans. Though they diverged dramatically (Janus basically takes on some flavor of antitheism, whilst Patton stays fervent to the faith he first latched onto.)

for the fake title: honey laced poison
Oooh, this gives me the vibes of like. Someone seducing a rich person then trying to poison them to try and get their money (but accidentally falling in love with them somewhere down the line). Like being sweet like honey then literally poisoning them
The idea is going under a cut because this ended up being longer than I anticipated.
Warnings for attempted murder, mentions of poison, and stabbing
So, here's my idea. We have morally grey Patton, because that's one of my favourite concepts. And he seems like a sweet guy at first. A minor noble who somehow charms everyone, he hasn't let any kind of power go to his head, and he doesn't seem to be searching for more.
At a party, he (literally) bumps into Lord Janus, the son of a very wealthy aristocrat who's just inherited his father's title, and his family are one of the most powerful in the country. Drinks are spilled, apologies are made, and Janus and Patton end up talking.
Janus, naturally, thinks that Patton is adorable and wants to see him more, but they fail to exchange information at the party. Janus is a little disappointed about that, but it doesn't matter, because Patton seems to keep showing up everywhere he goes. What a lucky coincidence.....
Anyway, they quickly start courting and become engaged quite soon. If Patton wasn't so sweet and unassuming, one might think he had ulterior motives.
At this point, it's revealed that Patton specifically plans to marry Janus then poison him with his favourite honey flavoured tea, which is where the title comes in.
But then, as they get closer, Patton starts to realise that Janus is actually a total sweetheart, always making sure Patton is well cared for, and beneath his charming and snooty exterior, he's actually very kind and very smart. Patton had gone into this thinking Janus would just be some arrogant noble he could easily seduce and then bump off. But now he's starting to think that he might prefer to share all this wealth with Janus, and spend their lives together.
Unfortunately, it turns out Patton wasn't the only one who had a plan to get rid of Janus, and at some point Patton finds out that someone from a rival rich family is trying to assassinate Janus (maybe because Janus has some kind of seat in the King's council that this person wants, idk I'm thinking too much about the lore of this au now) and it's up to Patton to stop this person.
Janus does end up getting stabbed, not fatally, and Patton gets the would-be killer apprehended. In the midst of all this, it comes out that Patton had originally planned on killing Janus. Maybe the rival found out somehow, and decided that when they got caught, they were taking Patton down with them.
So, Janus is bleeding out on the floor, and now he's found out that his fiancé wanted to kill him. He's not having a good time of it. Patton tries to apologise, but Janus passes out from blood loss before they can really talk about it (which is maybe convenient for him because this is a Lot to process).
When Janus is recovering from his wound, Patton chances going to see him in hospital, and is surprised to find out that Janus has actually been asking for him. They talk, Patton assures Janus that he really doesn't want to kill him anymore, and eventually (probably after a lot of couple's therapy) they work things out and decide to stay together.
They have a very long engagement, and a few years later they have a lovely wedding and absolutely nobody dies. The end.
This is kind of a messed up story but morally grey characters r so interesting to me and I think this is a pretty fun concept.
Idk whose perspective it would be from, because I'd want the reader to initially think that Patton is totally innocent with just a few hints dropped here and there that don't quite add up, until his true plan is revealed about halfway through. I guess it would be primarily from Janus' perspective, and Patton’s pov would be very unreliable narrator-y. Idk.

the symbolism with the sides outfits/appearances is so good I love thinking abt it. Patton and Logan matching each other to show they are two equally important and large functions of Thomas, the heart and the brain. Pattons grey hoodie represents how morality isn't always "black and white". Roman and Remus having opposite colors. Janus and Virgil having opposite colors. orange and blue having opposite colors.
Roman being the side that looks the most like Thomas, representing how his function as creativity and romance is so personally important to Thomas's life. Remus and Janus looking the least like Thomas represent his apprehension towards those parts of himself, how little he wants to be like them. The way Virgil dresses like an emo teenager, which is the time period when Thomas's anxiety really started to affect his life

I love that in Janus's mind he's as morally grey and cold hearted as they come (or at least maybe he likes to pretend he is) but in reality he's as morally grey and cold hearted as C!Thomas can be...Which isn't very.

i would love you to elaborate on janus/logan's relationship 👀👀👀
Logan and Janus both have very grey moral views, the dont give much of a darn about the morals of heaven or the roles that demons and angels are supposed to do”.
They met on earth while disguised as humans and became good friends, and they didnt care about eachother being an angel/demon. They relate to eachother and enjoy eachothers company! Sometimes they meet up on earth and go for coffee. Im honestly kind of leaning towards them being a romantic couple

i think ive decided fr actually. good lord you guys better appreciate this bc i dont know if i ever intended to think this intensely about this au....
and sorry if u dont like it but it's my au <3
heroes
Patton Foster (alias: Guardian. Just a normal guy who trained super hard, has a handful of cool tech and a mask. He's basically Batman. - Costume is probably mostly shades of dark grey / light grey and pale blue highlights - has a cowl)
Roman Valdez (alias: Hurricane. He's basially Superman, was an alien baby who crashlanded on earth. - Costume is white with a red? gold? H on his chest, red cape, red boots and gloves. probably not masked Or has a little over-the-eyes Green Lantern/Mr Incredible style mask. Probably built like Mr Incredible too)
Remus Valdez (alias: Maelstrom. He's basically Aquaman. Also not human - half-Atlantean (im gonna steal this i can do what I like). Raised on the surface. Can control water and sea life, can talk to fish, LOVES octopi/tentacle motif above all else. - Costume: probably yknow super green black and silver, probably has that scale-like skintight chest piece and maybe some armour motifs (bc Atlantis) Face is not covered)
Side note: i think Roman And Remus were found by like. a lighthouse keeper. who went oh boy!!! free sons!!! and raised them as brothers. They fully consider each other brothers. they grew up together and hero together, probs dont live together currently tho.
also i came up with the names separately but it means they both named themselves after weather phenomena and that is twin behaviour godbless
the three of them have something like a justice league together - it probably has Other Heroes in it part time too but. waves hand. background characters. They have an HQ. Somewhere.
villains
Janus [Surname Pending] (alias: Siren. A magician-cross-catburlgar... he's like... Catwoman if she had Zatanna's powers and aesthetics. Magic is real and he has it. And uses it for. Well. Everything. Morally grey rogue rather than evil villain. He's still super fucking with Guardian. - Costume: face half-scaled (genuinely from a magic curse) the other half masked phantom of the opera style. wears like... a magician's get up crossed his canon outfit but with bootyshorts and fishnets)
Logan Sanders (alias: [pending]. He's not really evil, or, not if you ask him. But he does think having these so called super-'heroes' running around without a contingency plan is... irresponsible. In private he is building a mech suit capable of taking down Hurricane Should He Need Taking Down. Has strong morals <- not good morals, just strong morals. Sometimes funds smaller villains/rogues for ,,,reasons. Patton is his secretary but they dont know the other is hero/villain (a shame, if they were on the same side, they'd get along very well) - Costume: well. it's a mech-suit, bulkier / more armoured than, say Iron Man, but not,, like,,, ten feet tall. all cold steel, maybe burnished black in parts, and i can see it having a visor with electronic eyes that can be Logan's signature blue.
Virgil (Surname Pending) (alias: [also pending] <- probably storm Or shadow related. He's the most nebulous to me right now but tbh i can see a semi-harley quinn backstory where he was tangled up with a gangleader who won him over into a life of crime but he's not that happy (i.e., open to...persuasion) with it. Don't know if he should have powers or not... - Costume: blacks, purples w/ hints of yellow. Hood covers hair and eyes and mask covers lower face. dresses in layers typical of like... a medieval assassin (he's not an assassin) (he's probably killed people before tho)
Virgil and Janus have probably crossed paths before as their rogue aliases. Janus has met Logan (under a fake name). it's possible Logan (in costume, under alias) has worked with Virgil/Virgil's boss before. Generally, esp now Virgil's striking out a little more on his own, Virgil and Janus are kinda too low on Logan's radar for him to seek them out so far. (Janus likes it like that) (tbh so does Virgil)

I think Patton should be considered a grey side
(Like with Virgil)
Because of the fact that he is MORALITY, The sense of right and wrong.
Roman and Logan, actively are kinda hard to call grey side or dark side because there creativity and logic. two things that don’t really have a bad side to them.
It’s just the characters themselves have flaws
And Remus and Janus altho more morally grey, do take in the villonis act of lying and having disturbing thoughts.
(My main distinction is you keep things like deceit and your intrusive thoughts to yourself and you can share logic and creativity more freely)
But morality and anxiety hold that grey area. Like Logan’s said there are good and bad a sides to anxiety, and there are clear good and bad sides to morality as well.
Your sense of what’s good and bad is constantly changing to fit the situation, and I think Patton as a character fits that.
Sometimes he dose do inherently bad things but it balances out
He is balance
And it makes Everything somewhat even
Light sides- Logan, Roman
Grey sides- Patton Virgil
Dark sides- Remus, decit
(And with a new orange side probably coming, for this theory I’m personally hoping that Roman and Remus make up to become one singular creativity so that orange can replace him)
This dose have a lot of contradictions but I jsut thinks it’s cool to think about 🥲

19 - Writer has Dropped
Sadly, this writer has dropped but we hope to see this story hit AO3 at another time!
Expected Rating: Mature
Warnings: war, character undeath. oc death, ptsd
Characters: C!Thomas, Roman, Remus, Patton, Logan, Virgil, Janus (all morally grey to some degree)
Romantic Relationships: None
Summary: It was the War to End All Time Wars. Not only were they fighting across history, they were utilizing time as a weapon itself. The Logician went to the Matrix and determined from the predictions of Time Lords past, that one Time Lord, known colloquially as Thomas, would be able to end the time war once and for all.
One little snag in this plan to utilize Thomas: Anxiety knows the full prediction, and Thomas is the one to make Gallifrey fall. Deceit is the last one on the political counsel with enough pull to keep Thomas from being contacted. Morality is the mechanic keeping Thomas' TARDIS going when Thomas would normally swing by Gallifrey for tune-ups.
Prince is the Time Lord traveling with Thomas, searching for his brother, Duke. Unbeknownst to either of them, Duke has been on the front lines of the Time War for thousands of years, and the only way to get him out, is to get through the Time War alive.
The story is a fusion with the show Doctor Who. No Doctor Who characters feature, and it can be read fandom blind in theory, but knowledge of the series, however vague, is preferred.

Echoes of the Past - Day 17
Prompt:  “A guard is as much a prisoner as those he keeps from freedom.”
CW: Imprisonment, Morally Dark Grey Patton
"I don't want to do this," Patton said, tears streaming down his face.
"If that were true, then you wouldn't be doing it," Janus replied, leaning against the cold stone of his cell. He wouldn't hold the other man's transgression against him, after all, they were all products of the society that had tried so hard to destroy them. However, that didn't mean he was going to give Patton grace either. It was his choice, at any moment he could unlock the cell and let Janus out, sure doing so would go against his moral code, but that was still something Patton had the capability of doing. If he didn't want to be the jailor he could give up the roll.
"You don't understand,"
"Except I do." Janus' voice was calm and smooth, attempting to hide the fury that was building underneath. "I have been in your position Patton, attempting to win the approval of those around you, attempting to calm them with false platitudes and empty promises-"
"They aren't empty,"
"Sure they aren't," Janus turned to look at Patton, only opening one eye, his snake eye. "You promise care, protection, safety, but only if people behave, only if they give up their freedom. If someone is unwilling to follow your rules, they don't receive your love, and yet you claim it's unconditional. If you have to fear what might happen if you step out of line, you will never truly be free. It's a golden cage with beautiful promises, but it isn't real."
"I.... It's not like that." Patton looked visibly distressed, as if he had never considered he might be the bad guy in this situation. Janus had no more sympathy to give. He had been stripped of that when he had been stripped of his power and rights.
"Sure it's not, and I'm not sitting in a jail cell simply because I questioned the all mighty king." Janus took a step closer to the bars, putting his hand on them as he looked at Patton. "He's going to turn one day, maybe not on you, but certainly on someone that you care about. You will think that it is okay, that he was just doing the best that he could, but you will know, deep in your heart, that that's not the case. You will know that he abandoned what was right and true a long time ago. You aren't there yet." He closed his eye, going back to his relaxed stance as he stepped away.
He leaned his head back on the stone again, looking at Patton from underneath his eyelids. He might be the one caged, but he wasn't the true prisoner. "I do not wish you harm, so I hope that when that time does come, it is not a surprise to you. I hope for you that the sting of betrayal doesn't run deep, that instead it is the answer to a question that had sat in the back of your mind for a long time."
He could see Patton cracking, but the man wasn't ready yet. He open and closed his mouth, obviously fighting the war that Janus had lost long ago. He had abandoned his belief in an all knowing authority.
"You... you're just a snake, you are just twisting words. I won't believe you." He wasn't ready to believe. He still wanted to stay in the golden cage that had been built around him, but Janus had at least given him the key.
"I am," He didn't deny that he was a snake. There really wasn't any point. He was and most people wouldn't believe him, but that didn't mean he wasn't telling the truth. Snakes weren't always an ill omen, sometimes they were harbingers of truths that others didn't want to hear. Janus was confident in who he was, he just wish he had come to that realization a long time ago. Maybe then he would have had time to get out.
The man who was to be his jailor stormed off and Janus opened both of his eyes, staring up at the ceiling. The runes that surrounded his cell prevented him from seeing the future. The fates had been cruel enough to give him the gift of foresight while also cursing his image. The scales on his face made him look like the snake Patton accused him to be. No one wanted to believe a snake, no matter how many times he was right. He simply knew far too many truths that people were unwilling to hear.
"I don't need to have my foresight ability to know that this kingdom is doomed." And so was he. It would only take a few more months before the king grew tired of what he symbolized, only a few months before he would probably be killed in order to make an example of him. "Promise me Patton," He whispered softly, letting out a prayer to whatever deity would listen. "Promise me that you will protect the others. That you won't allow them to succumb to my fate."
Janus knew that his relationship with Patton was strained, he almost expected it, but hopefully he would take care of the others.
[Section Break]
Patton walked slowly back to his room, each step felt like a heavy weight around his ankle. Janus was an interesting character, he acted like he was dark and mysterious but Patton knew the truth, the searer was kind of a dork. He liked to tease people and play pranks and there was no reason that he should have been sent to the dungeon, at least, not from Patton's perspective.
But the king couldn't be wrong.
The king fought for his people, the king did his best and Patton would believe in him.
Stopping at the top of the staircase, Patton looked down the long hallway. His eyes were unfocused as he stared at the area in front of him. Janus' words were ringing in his ear. Would the king really hurt the other people he cared about? Logan, Roman, and Virgil? They were his family, and Patton couldn't lose them.
"No, it won't happen. I know it won't," but as he walked down the hall, his hands continued to shake. Patton would believe in his king, but the fear had settled into his heart.

ao3: “happiness becomes a choice” rating: T warnings: platonic dukeceit, nightmares, abandonment issues, crying genre: hurt/comfort description:  Remus is angry and does something perhaps a little ill-advised to deal with said anger. (day 29: "My pain is constant and sharp and I do not hope for a better world for anyone. In fact, I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape." Bret Eaton Ellis, American Psycho @tsshipmonth2020 )
Remus twirls his fingers, sending sickly green tendrils of fog down every hallway in the mind palace, seeking out the other sides. Unless they know exactly what it is, they won't be able to do anything about it, and the only one who would know is Janus. But Janus is asleep now, because sleep is self care and all that bullshit. So it doesn't matter.
He spreads his fingers wide, tugging lightly, and grinning as he realizes that each side is trapped now. Trapped in a hell of his own making.
Patton, tiptoeing down a spiderweb-festooned hallway, as his skin rippled and bulged, frog skin spreading in amorphous patches. Distorted voices of the others proclaim him to be a terrible Morality, a useless Morality. Remus watches tears glisten and fall in fat droplets down Patton's freckled cheeks, and he only grins harder. Good, he thinks, as Patton's shirt rips and he becomes a frog once more.
Logan, cowering in a corner, as the word infinitesimal swells and aches, as his contributions aren't even torn down or debated, merely ignored. He grows smaller and smaller, his voice weaker with each protestation that he is important, that he does have a use for Thomas, until he's the size of a mouse and easy to step on. Remus nearly does the honors himself.
Roman, running down a corridor lined with mirrors, each mirror a distorted image of himself, mocking his performance, mocking his values. Calling himself Thomas's hero in the most petulant whine. The mirrors begin to crack, then break, pattering the floor in a shower of falling glass and Roman runs through it all, heedless, bruises appearing in purple black splotches all over his body as his ego is bruised.
Virgil, abandoned. Virgil crying, the others turning their backs on him, telling him that he's destined to be dark. He's destined to be evil, so really, why has he ever bothered to try? His eye shadow streaks down his cheeks like tears as the color leeches from his jacket, leaving it awash in grey. Fake Patton tells him solicitously that he was never needed to help Thomas, they lied all along.
Janus, running from an enormous snake. A snake whispering to stop running, Janny, it's okay, this is just what happens when you abandon your friends, isn't it, this is just what happens when you put your selfish goals above all, because of course you know what's best, Jan Jan, you always have, you-
Remus doesn't realize he's crying until he tastes salt. He plops to the floor, the nightmare threads vanishing like they've never been. He hears footsteps, but he refuses to look. It won't be Janus. It's never Janus.
It's Janus.
"Remus," Janus says slowly as Remus stiffens. "Remus, I never meant to hurt you-"
"Well, you did," Remus interrupts, talking fast, his voice sharp and jagged and brittle.
"I'm sorry," Janus says, and the words are soft and round with sincerity. Remus doesn't believe it.
"Then prove it," Remus demands. Janus nods, helping Remus to his feet.
"I will," Janus says. "I will, Remus. I never meant to leave you behind. You're my best friend in the whole world."
"Evil twin and all?" Remus weakly jokes, as Janus's arms snake around him.
"Always," Janus confirms. They can hear a hubbub in the distance and Remus pales a little. When you have a nightmare like that, it's not exactly hard to find out what happened.
"Gotta go," Remus says, and they both sink out to Janus's room.

10 Songs Tag
Thank you @sam-glade and @writernopal for the tags!
Rules: Put on your favorite playlist on shuffle and share the first 10 songs that come up - let us get to know you! Bonus, tag them for any characters they apply to from your WIPs!
Unfortunately, I don't use Spotify all that regularly (can't afford a subscription), so I opted to use my YouTube playlist instead. Please forgive me.
Tagging @e-klair, @moonluringfrost, @talesfromaurea, and anyone else who wishes to participate!
Let me know if you know or enjoy any of these songs! I've found that I have a bit of an acquired taste in music and talking so openly about it always makes me a lil' nervous. Let me know if you happen to listen to anything new, too!
Bad Guy - Billie Eilish (covered by The Interrupters) -A god-tier cover, especially when paired with a fight scene (as seen in The Umbrella Academy). Reminds me specifically of Janus and Bellona from Agent Ace.
And So It Went - The Pretty Reckless -Embodies the darker, more chaotic side of Harmont and its vigilantes.
Playground - Bea Miller -Same as #2.
Wolf in Sheep's Clothing - Set It Off -A banger of a theme for a morally grey character or villain. Once again, I think of Janus and Bellona when I listen to this song.
Break In - Halestorm ft. Amy Lee -A love song for Harley and Jade and one of the only songs that has made me cry. I got to see this performed live and it almost destroyed me
Hate - Plush -Helps me channel and write a character's anger. This is a song for Sophia, who's always a bit short-tempered with constant repressed rage.
Haunted and Unwanted - NateWantsToBattle -Makes me think of certain characters from Harmont Heroes who are made to be victims or products of an unkind environment. Also, the beat slaps.
Paint It Black - Netflix's Wednesday -Reminds me of a character in Harmont Heroes who has yet to be introduced. Also good background music to write to at any given time, since there are no lyrics and the cello sounds lovely!
Sober - Plush -Something I like to listen to whenever I write about a character hitting rock bottom, or any significantly heavy scene involving death, grief, etc. Have made myself ugly sob before with all the feelings.
Phantom - Give Heart Records -Another great song for a villain, especially in the context of the 'deal with the devil' trope, which I am hopelessly in love with. Multiple characters come to mind with this one (can you tell I love my villains?)

my sides are as follows
Logic: Leo, it/its, also comprised of curiosity, emotions, and my intrusive thoughts. dresses in bright colors but nothing frivolous. button ups and jeans. has heart shaped glasses. it doesn’t repress its emotions, rather embraces them. it does have a more serious, stoic demeanor, but can be very expressive
Creativity: Arthur, he/him, also comprised of impulsivity/impulsive thoughts, courage (bordering on recklessness), and passion. dresses in dark academia aesthetic; white button up with a sweater over it and a tweed jacket and black slacks. wears round framed glasses. he loves to read and write, and has a deep love of stories in general. very eccentric, kinda jittery, always acts like he’s buzzing off coffee
Morality: Mortimer, they/them, also comprised of both honesty and deceit, both selfishness and selflessness, and both humility and egoism. they wear a black and white striped suit with a black tie. their glasses are the cat eye glasses. they’re like a dichotomy of themself. if anything they represent balance. very smooth talking, kind of like janus. they don’t view morality itself as black and white, they recognize the shades of grey, but they choose the black and white aesthetic because of how they function. they’re both yin and yang
Anxiety: Angel, she/her, also comprised of depression, self preservation, and wrath. she wears a black beanie, black t-shirt, and light blue denim vest, with camo shorts that go down to her knees. her glasses are rectangular. she’s a fighter on most days, always ready to punch something. there are days, though, when the depression takes over and she can’t even leave her room
“Cringe” Side: Ebony, any pronouns, primarily comprised of my being a furry, being otherkin, and my love of fortnite and other “cringe” things. dresses in the most convoluted scene get up you’ve ever seen. i cant describe it. wears ray bans. he’s basically a grown up who’s also a child skjdjdjd very colorful and hyperactive. probably also includes my mental illnesses/disabilities? exists as a cool reminder that cringe is awesome and im awesome for being cringe :3
i might make more sides as i learn about myself or make adjustments to these guys, but for now, these are my little guys :D
