You know what I wanna see in Season 2 besides Calliette sexy fight scenes and Dark Juliette?
More blood, guts and gore. Like at least try to make it more YA supernatural horror than just YA supernatural. It makes sense! Like you can’t have vampires and monster hunters without it being some form of horror. That’s what made ‘BTVS’ interesting.
You had all these brutal and gruesome kills. They didn’t dwell on the actual carnage too long because it was children that was mostly targeted but it worked.
I mean this - this was iconic … and satisfying to see.
And they didn’t give a crap that it was never really explained from the muggles point of view. They didn’t give a crap that there was barely any consequences. People died. That’s just how it was. And it worked.

Dust kitties :)
[ID: fist image: a digital drawing of a black fur ball with tiny triangular legs, triangle kitty ears, one cat eye in the middle of it’s face and a small tail.
second image: the same creature as described before drawn with pencil, there are five of them, in the upper left corner it is yawning, showing off the sharp cat teeth it has, in the upper right corner it is looking up, looking interested, in the middle it has a “smiling” eye, lower left corner it’s playing with a yarn ball, pupil dilated, lower right corner it is sleeping, curled up, eye closed. end of ID]
