Academic tips that work for me

Hello girlies! This is a post that I have been delaying for like 2 weeks, but now it's time or me to post it. In this blog I will give you all the things I do to keep myself getting high grades and maintain the "intelligent" persona I have worked for since I started studying my college career and fortunately others see me this way now.

I do not study hevy or know a lot about studying methods, I am more into "smart work > hard work" kind of thing

My personal tips

This are my tips being an auditory person focused on being effortless

Understand your learning style: Are you visual? Auditory? Or kinesthetic? By knowing this you can apply studying methods that are efficient for you.

Pay attention to your classes!: I think the main reason I slay effortlessly my exams is because of this so I only need a quick study. You will be saving future time since your study sessions will be lighter because you will remember lots of the things.

Participate / Ask questions: It's easy, you will get points with your teachers as a great student, plus you will get your questions solved.

Put your on a place you can't see it so it doesn't distract you, for classes or when you need to study / get work done.

Study in a place when you feel comfortable, it can be at an cafe or at the library, even in your bedroom at a desk, what matters is that you feel comfortable and that you get the feel of "this is a place where I can study / do my assignments" and not feel lazy or uncomfortable by "x or y" reason. As a plus, keep your space clean and only with the necessary at sight.

Use music that doesn't distract you and you vibe with: Listen to music that doesn't have lyrics, but that's a basic by now. What I recommend you is to listen to music that you just vibe with to get your desired mood and motivation. In my case, I listen to videogame soundtracks since it makes me feel relaxed or to classical music because I fee like "that business girly", either way music helps me concentrate.

Romanticize your studies: This can mean different things to all of you reading this post, I am talking about making your academic journey fun and pleasing rather than streesing! Some ideas are having cute stationery, take cute notes, act like one of your fav academic characters, have study playlists, drinking coffee, go to the library or to cafes, dress cute for school, read, light candles, watch "study with me" videos and study vlogs, create a pinterest board, stablish academic goals, etc.

Do your homework when you have free time at school / college or do it as a first thing after your schedule, this will help you save time. Think about it, if you do it while having free time at school / college you don't need to do it at home. And if you need to do it at home, if done as the first thing, you will either way get so much free time and can focus on other tasks or activities freely.

Be organized: Have a bullet journal or use an app to keep track of your subjects and assignments. By this you will remember and keep in sight upcoming deadlines and events.

Take care of your academic relationships: I make sure that the people inside my circle of friends are girls (mainly, but boys too) who I feel comfortable, have fun with but also are similar to me in the sense that they take seriously her studies and are good teammates. Outside of them I also focus on other potential classmates that are intelligent and have similar values. There is no need to bother on the ones who don't attend classes, are irresponsable and don't even know what are they doing in the course.

Take care of yourself: Ask yourself? Will it be worth it while not sleeping enough, having a poor diet and exercise? By not letting yourself rest or have fun from time to time? By not practicing self-care? By not practicing any hobby or taking the time for your interests ? Please take care of yourself, girl, this is the lowest part of the pyramid. The reason to care is not only your wellbeing, but also because having a poor lifestyle can have bad effects for you that also affect your performance, and we won't like that.

Aight anon you didnt mention who to write for so I'm gonna write about all my favs, also this will be infuenced by my personal rewrite so I hope you dont mind!!

(Charcters included: Jeff, Ben, Nina, Toby, EJ, Clockwork, Jane, Masky/Tim, The Operator and a hint of Laughing Jack)

I'll make a part 2 as soon as I can because I have way too many thoughts about the Mansion to fit in one post.

◇Slender Mansion Headcanons◇

◇Part 1◇

• Actual fucking chaos

• Thank god the Mansion is so deep in the woods because they would have been reported for SEVERAL noise complaints.

• Ben and Jeff usually play videogames late into the night (usually old PS2 titles, horror or multiplayer games) and Jeff has almost 0 voice control.

• So Tim (or Jane) usually has to barge in and yell at them to keep it down, not that he sleeps much anyways but theyre annoying and Nina is a light sleeper.

• Ben, Clockwork and Tim are all insomniacs so they usually all play board games or go for long drives together, Ben has successfully gotten them into dnd.

• Ben is pretty bad at taking care of himself because he just kinda....forgets due to his ADHD so everyone in the mansion gives him their little reminders or help out.

• Whether its Nina brushing his hair, Jane bringing him dinner when he forgot to eat or Toby essentially throwing him in the shower (never the bathtub his phobia of deep water is too strong and everyone in the mansion is mindful of it)

• Nina, Jeff and Ben all have movie nights every Tuesday. Occasionally the other members of the mansion will join them if the're free but they all have different hunting schedules set by The Operator.

•Nina screams at every jumpscare in a horror movie, her screams are so loud that EJ can hear it from the basement.

• The Operator himself doesn't live in the Mansion although it is his. Hes rarely seen or heard from, only leaving notes around the house. The only one really fond of him is Nina.

• The Operator usually leaves breakfast on the table in the morning for all of them, Clockwork has a small feeling that he doesn't like Jeff because his eggs are never done the way he likes.

• Speaking of Clockwork, the only people she really relaxes around are Toby and EJ, otherwise shes the resident strong, scary, silent type. Ben was low-key scared of her at first but theyre cool now.

• She has major anger issues so his fears are validated, she mostly does a good job of hiding it and generally is very friendly although her bluntness comes of as being mean sometimes.

• EJ and Clockwork usually give each other book and audio drama podcast reccomendations. They're so comfortable around each other that everyone though they were dating at first (They're not).

• EJ was studying to be a surgeon before he got into this mess, his skills carried over and he acts like the in house doctor for the mansion, frequently gets annoying at Tim's smoking.

• EJ honestly spends more time in his lab in the basement than his actual room, he doesn't let many people down there for "sanitation" reasons but everyone else knows its just to keep the teenagers from being more traumatized than they already are.

• Nobody goes into the attic as The Clown (Laughing Jack) lives there, they're all a little afraid of him but he only leaves and enters the room through the attic so hes never seen in the rest of the house.

• Jane had to go into the attic to speak to The Clown once on instruction of The Operator and acted out of character for the rest of the week, keeping all the cupboards and wardrobes in her vicinity open at all times.

• Jane and Tim are often regarded as "The Parents" of the Mansion as they're the oldest, both being in their mid to late 30s, everyone MOSTLY respects them enough to listen.

• Nina treats Clockwork and Jane like big sisters and often finds every excuse to tag along and spend time with them, usually ends up rambling about random fanfiction or a new show she's watching while they listen.

• Clockwork and Toby are like Ben and Jeff just older. Two peas in a pod, they go everywhere together and Clockwork becomes a little more unhinged around him. They've been hiding a stolen stoplight in Toby's room for 3 months and nobody has noticed yet.

• Toby and Jeff either get along a little too well or are fist fighting there is no in between. They're both loose canons. Nobody can tell if they're friends or hate each other.

• Toby and Nina both get along well as they're able to understand and read each other better than the other mansion members due to their shared experience having bpd.

• Toby often accompanies Nina on missions and looks out for her, similar to an older brother, and Nina goes on frequent trips with him to help bring firewood for the Mansion.

• They have their moments but overall everyone gets along pretty well.

More games i think Genshin characters would play

Liyue this time

Baizhu

I’d give Baizhu Stardew Valley. Leave a harsh work environment for self healing on a farm. Get help from little magical creatures to improve things. Generally just a relaxing slice of life game. I think he’d find it fun. Would never help jojamart, and probably isn't a big fan of the mines.

Beidou

I have only played one (1) pirate game and that's Pirate 101. I think she would have played that game, but it's not her favorite. I think it's obvious she’d play the pirate games. Another I think she’d enjoy are the assassins creed games. She’d enjoy the story a lot, especially the first few games if you're doing it in chronological order? It's been awhile since I've watched them. Would play Baldurs Gate 3 to romance all the companions.

Chongyun

Got dragged into playing Dead By Daylight as his first game and got hooked. He is generally drawn to games with scary monsters because they don't run from him. Found dead by daylight exhilarating because he couldn't fight the hunter, and had to experience what it felt like to be powerless against such beings. He also really enjoys Bloodborne and most mmorpgs. Is usually a dps and/or healer mix and likes PVP.

Ganyu

Doesn’t play a lot of violent or action based games. Will if you invite her when she has the time, but I think she's more drawn to cute casual games like overcooked or life simulators like The Sims. She doesn't play often, but when she finds the time she has this world she has had for years that she checks up on. Cries when her sims die.

Hu Tao

Plays Zombie horror games. The walking dead is obvious but one of my personal favs i think she’d enjoy is Dead Island. Others I think she’d enjoy are 7 Days to Die, The Forest, and The Coffin of Andy and Leyley. Really enjoys games with darker themes that others may find too much. I think she would also check out horror games like Corpse Party, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, and Phasmophobia. (can you tell I enjoy a lot of horror yet, would you be surprised to know its not actually my favorite genre and its just because I needed entertainment from my fav youtubers throughout the years?)

Keqing

Coop Survival games, open world survival, generally just enjoys survival games. Doesn’t have to be scary, can be simple like minecraft, but the more relaxed a game is the more she’d rather play it with friends. She has a few collection type games on her phone too. Mochi cats, Neko Atsume, stuff like that.

Ningguang

Prefers her games tabletop. Most people invite her for strategy games because she's really good at them. When she's in a pvp match her team always wins so long as they listen to her or she can communicate with them effectively. If she's nearby when others are playing stealth games shes usually asked for help since she can figure out the movement patterns easily. But when she can and is playing solo, I give her slime rancher. Casual, cute, and stress free. Would really like it if people invited her to play minecraft type games so she can just go fishing or mining while listening to others over VC.

Qiqi

Plays a variety of games. Was given the Wii for Wii sport and later Just Dance to help with her movements. Plays Stardew with Baizhu and routinely either goes mining for him or wanders the world for wild items. Too a long time to learn not to let herself get too exhausted down in the mines. Plays racing, and rhythm games to help with her reflexes. Not too good at mmorpgs or fps game. They tend to get too complicated for her, but may do crafting jobs for you if you ask nicely.

Shenhe

Knows what games are but videogames are new to her. Will check out anything you recommend to her, but prefers games she can play with others. If she’s playing a game like Lethal Company don’t be too surprised if she dies a lot trying to attack everything. Very straightforward and rushing ahead kind of gamer. Doesn’t necessarily think she's invincible, just not very good at gauging her chances of survival. Takes a lot of risks and does it again even if it didn't pay off the first time. Sometimes doesn't realize there are mechanics at play preventing her plans from working

Xiangling

Obviously she plays Overcooked. Plays cooing sims all the time. Finds VR cooking sims endlessly entertaining because it's so much harder than cooking in reality despite being so much simpler. Not usually her friends favorite games to play, and she doesn't mind, because most games have cooking functions and she is always going to make sure her friends are stocked up on supplies. She loved playing Grounded and it gave her a lot of creativity to make dishes with insects. Laments the fact that she cannot know what it's like to be so small and eat bug meat. You’ll never have to worry about running out of food with her playing with you.

Xiao

Doesn't really allow himself the time to play games either. Will play with you if you ask REAAAALLYY nicely and give him his fav foods to snack on while playing. When he's feeling restless however and doesn’t have anything to fight, or do, he might try playing tower defense games on his phone. Might use them to cope when he feels like he can't do anything or is feeling like he isn't doing enough. Secretly wants to play a life simulator game or something with more slice of life. If we are going really modern and there aren't evil spirits around much anymore for him to worry about and he's still around, I think he might put more time into a game lie FFXIV or Runescape if you introduce it to him. Spends time building his character and mentoring other players. Has probably helped out or Amber before or would long term when he has time. Would help players with Bluemage in FFXIV or dungeoneering in Runescape.

Xingqiu

MMORPGs all the way. Probably the one to introduce them to all his friends. Has tested out every. Single. One. Has spent a lot of time roleplaying with other players. Is the kind of guy to even roleplay while going through dungeons and raids with randos. Absolutely never breaks character. Has a LOT of friends and fans in the games he frequents and the guilds he's in are usually free of toxicity. Probably also has socials themed around the character(s) he roleplays as.

Xinyan

Before getting a real guitar she played guitar hero no doubt about it. She spends most of her time making music and not a whole lot of time playing games, but when she does she’ll usually DJ at RP events for Xingqiu if that's an option. Hardly ever progresses story content but you’ll find she's absolutely rich in game and always has expensive clothing. Being a DJ pays well.

Yanfei

Ah yes the original Ace Attorney queen herself lol. As most of us know, Yanfei actually hates domestic cases. I don't think she’d enjoy Ace Attorney or Clue all that much. And isn't really into mmos or the stupidity that comes with toxic or predatory players. Trust me she's had to hear enough about it from her other friends who’ve come to her for advice on dealing with these players both on and off game. You won't find her sitting in rando lobbies either. Plays strictly with friends, but will still bluntly, yet politely refuse if she doesn't think a game is interesting to her. I don't think she’d be too against games with scary elements. Might play a game like Don’t Starve Together, or Pumpkin Panic. May also play Golf with friends, and Scribblenauts.

Yaoyao

Plays outside regularly and doesn't show much interest in playing video games unless it's with her friends and in person. Split screen and controller trading kind of player right here. Helps choose what to play based on what games her friends suggest, but never really suggests anything of her own. If she had to choose out of all the games she's played with friends it’d be the mario games. Really liked Super Mario Galaxy and Sunshine even when she wasn't the one playing.

Yelan

Stealth based games like assassins creed, Hitman, and At Dead of Night. Not too into grotesque horror, but has probably played games like that. I think she's more interested in horror games like Heavy Rain, Life is Strange, and Until dawn. Not too big on multiplayer and just plays a bit maybe after work or on a day off.

Yun Jin

Another character that get dragged off into playing Coop games. Not that she doesn't enjoy video games, but she doesn't usually have a pressing desire to play. Ends up playing games like Lethal Company, Among us, and Terraria. Is in her friends minecraft servers but doesn't usually get on until she’s reminded about it or she planned to do so.

Zhongli

Plays all games, at his own pace, but very thoroughly. His gaming accounts and devices are full of games. Literally. You don't know when or how hes had so much time to play all these games. He loves playing open world multiplayer games. Has filled entire minecraft worlds with stuff he’s built. Nether, End and all. It's a game he never gets tired of, especially when he gets to play with friends or show them his previous worlds. Generally just loves the creativity put into video games. Its a whole new experience compared to reading books or listening to storytellers. Has played every game I’ve talked about so far and all the ones ill mention in later chapters and more. Enjoys discussing lore for unfinished or ambiguously ended games, and loves theories so so so much. When playing with him you'll find hes just like any average gamer if not a little too good at how he plays. He enjoys the anonymity of mmo games and thinks that if they were around while he was an archon that he would have very much enjoyed getting to interact with his people like this during that time. Still has the old Tamagotchi Venti gifted him a long time ago.

Ok so I’ve also looked at Silver and thought “damn he really doesn’t have a thought in his head”

This is funny because I've always been a creative kid, so I would create my own stories inside my head and they eventually turned into some of the shows/books I liked- sometimes a mixture- and at the time I didn’t know that was called fanfiction! I have the vivid memory of snatching my mom's lavender Nokia cellphone to write in a notes app, that happened until I fell into the role-playing world for years and that only cemented my love for it, I fully got into writing seriously around five years since that but never posted, it was for that same group of friends only. So that's my backstory! I had given up on it for a number of reasons but I'm back in the fanfiction pit lol

🥤 ⇢ recommend an author or fanfic you love

Since I've been a tessjoel girlie from the beginning I'm pulling some of the hidden gems on FF dot net that some new fans may not know! These are all videogame tlou.

Starting with one of my favorite fics EVER (it is a habit to reread it monthly) written by Raff who is a legend and was a pioneer for them. This is an au that's technically canon compliant for the tone, a very straight-forward summary: Ellie is Tess and Joel's daughter, this is the little glimpses of how they raise her in the QZ:

@kokureno and I gush over this particular fic nonstop, college au with romcom elements, what's not to love?

This one is a curious case because while I read it previously, my mind was blown away when I finally read Dirt (also recommend it) then came back to it. Tess and Joel share a vulnerable moment and Tess realizes there is more to him than what she thought, pretty spot on character analysis:

This one is a Tess lives au AND a babyfic, and you know how hard it used to be to find babyfics for them specifically? Aside from signs (originally from FFnet), I wasn't that lucky and this was a blessing:

Someone said missing scene fic about a very necessary topic aka Joel and Ellie bringing up Tess during their journey? The old man HAS feelings??? Anyway, this is 100% canon to me:

This one is for those who are fans of Tess’s backstory in the old tlou storyline where she was the main antagonist/villain, which means she had a brother who was killed; in my heart this will always be her OG origin story honestly. Plus, Joel also opens up about his own loss:

Don't you love it when there's a recurring theme in your fic???? Tess and Joel's lives when they're running out of time, Tommy appears too, canon compliant:

Okay this one is on AO3 too, I get that, however I first found it here and anyway it has now been buried so! I'm showing it again. Tess's centered fic were a rarity so I know this one like the back of my hand, the most juicy gritty QZ life angst, it's also an origin story about her AND a character study, go wild:

Another one on AO3, but hear me out this IS them at their true core and a required reading for everyone to understand them and their dynamic perfectly, it's pretty sad and there's not much comfort but that's why it's so good. Also, the queen herself (amb) wrote it and this is my special dedication to her bc she cemented this Fandom alongside Raff and she's the best at pulling our heartstrings:

Those are some of my favs. I can't include every single one cause it would take me ages but there are so many more there that are worth a read. If you love them most at their ambiguous nature, the early fics filled the void and nurtured the mind.

Always wanting 2 expand my music knowledge but can’t grasp genre differences well. how do u find new music?? im relying on recs from other people most of the time but stuff like ur davekat music post is so specific and right I’m curious

i getch i getcha, i go thru dry spells where i listen 2 trhe same music over and over and over haha. i struggle with grasping genre diffs too, so i constantly compare artists 2 each other, and try to find music relevant to specific examples of shit i alrdy like. the only genre ive ever explored BY its genre n not specific artists is future funk. good genre.

im a music rabbithole-r by habit bc i just dont fucking understand genres. a lot of my music tastes r based on foundational shit i got into as a kid, like videogames or movies soundtracks, that i dragged out as long as i could.

as an e.g. , i was introduced to "why?" as a kid by an older relative. i got into "odd nosdam" because why? mentions him directly in a song on their first album. n i was like "whos that". i got into "clouddead" because its a collab between yoni wolf ("why?") and odd nosdam ("odd nosdam"). i got into "sole" cus he has a feat on that album. etc etc

got into "tmbg" because of homestar runner. got into "og maco" bc of the 12 bricks meme. got into "anamanaguchi" over a decade ago bc of this video.

it's a rlly fun way to find music🙂

i like to find out what artists are related 2 artists i already like, or what their inspirations are, or who they inspired, and move on 2 them, and do that ad nauseam til i cant anymore. i also do this with music rec'd to me by other people which is sumth u mentioned, which is how i found ppl like pinback/rob crow and lemaitre who are some of my fav artists ov all time.

if u find a single song u like, id recommend sample the entire source album in order, and then the first album by dat artist, or just which ever one has the most interesting album art. maybe. or just click on song titles that look interesting.

if u find a cool ytpmv or mashup, check their channel, check the recs on youtube and open 10 in separate tabs and go thru them one by one bc it doesnt hurt 2 be thorough. and theres so much music out there to listen to. if a band's name, song title, cover art grabs you, listen to it. at worst u frown for a minute and move on, at best u find a lifelong fave.

id rec getting shazam on ur phone so u can grab songs u hear in public.

spotify's smart shuffle is also prety good actually. if u have spotify try making a playlist of songs u like and turning that on also.

if a character you like in something references a song or artist, check them out ASAP. very very fun 2 do can provide so much context 2 the characxter as well.

if you do this kinda shit enough on youtube, your recs start to fill up with <1k view videos from independent artists. that is when you have struck gold

LITERALLY THO like i hate how tfa bumblebee is reduced to a “so random! 😝🤪” only silly idiot prankster kinda guy when like. He’s smart! He’s caring! Yes he can be silly and yes he can be a bit reckless but he loves his friends and he can figure out how to care for them (like where he and bulk are comforting sari 🥺) and also figure out the best strategy to defeat whatever villain of the week is there! TFA bee means so much to me and i am also so excited for earthspark. Continuities where bumblebee is not the kid appeal character my beloves

LICHERALLY !!!! Like I love Bumblebees silly fun nature thats why he's one of my favorites ever, BUT IT DOESNT MEAN he can't be more than that.

Tfa in particular bothers me bc like. It's my fav bumblebee bc he has more bite and spunk (due to being based more on hot shot), but then. They never. Truly take him as seriously as other characters (except maybe bulk but that's bc hes also not taken seriously,)

which is so absurd bc he has some Legit shit going on with him that should fuck him up!! His whole career, his dreams, got flushed down the toilet bc he was unfortunate to have an instructor that doesn't like him and doesn't give him a chance (except when he did 1 singular time and then he immediately sent him to space repair duty for doing the noble thing and taking the fall for bulkhead)

And he doesn't get over this. He is still depressed about it when he says to Longarm "at least one of us achieved their dreams" in like the saddest tone ever (I think it's literally the saddest line delivery bee gives in the entire show) and he talks abt how no one believed he would amount to anything in the trial of megs script reading.

I'd argue his general behavior reflects this too (though idk how intentional it was), bc hes always like attention seeking- approval seeking. He wants to appear to Earth like he's a hero so he can feel successful (and that still went down the drain bc the humans started hating the autobots later)

But do they ever take time to address this issue and sympathize with him? No <3 instead they act like bee has no issues at all, to the point it's like "wasp is suffering so much, bumblebee wtf is wrong with you. YOU CANNOT RELATE TO LOSING EVERYTHING you just can't. nothing bad has ever happened to you. Go play videogames you stupid motherfucker" not that wasp isn't suffering but cmon. don't act like bee didnt have his entire career fucked over like it's not a serious thing

Not to mention as you said he has multitudes to him, he's caring and compassionate! He's quick witted and has lots of skill! He's not just a bumbling fool- Sentinel is wrong about that! (His assessment of ppl is not rlly accurate at all btw, he called bulkhead "bulk and no brains" when that guy is literally the leading expert on space bridge tech)

I am rlly excited to see earthspark bee bc its like. I think he's going to have the same kind of wise-cracking spunk tfa bee has BUT he is in a mentor role now. So there's a good chance he won't be reduced to being a silly jokester, bc he has to have some seriousness to teach (and thus the writers will treat him more seriously) also there's already those earth bots that are probably going to fill up that kid appeal role anyway

tldr: I love tfa bee's personality but I think his writing is lacking bc it doesn't take him as seriously as other characters, and I hope earthspark bee takes what's good abt tfa bee but gets better treatment from the writers

okay I'm currently going a trip down memory lane bc I'm STILL decluttering and I came across some hella old fanart I made when I was like 10 or 11-ish of Axl from megaman x and this just unlocked a memory that I had legit forgotten so lemme tell ya all a lil story.

So I'm a early 2000s kiddo and all of my cousins are like 15-20 years older than me and they had all the older consoles and because I was the only girl cousin that had any form of interest in videogames at all they let lil 6year old me play all of their games when I was real lil like og megaman games and 2d sonics and then when I got a bit older and survived my first load of the big sad aka depression they let me play the games with sligtly more mature themes, which included megaman x.

Axl has always been my fav character from the x series but he also really confused me because in the first few appearences he is voiced by a woman which 10yo me didn't know was a regular thing to do for younger male character and then later he'd be voiced by a dude.

Funnily enough kiddo-me didn't know the concept of having a woman voice a dude, but I did know what a trans person is because one of the older kids (15-16ish) in my school that was part of the...uhhh.. Musical-background-building-club (this is the best way i can describe it) I was in happened to be trans.

So guess what natural conclusion my 10 year old self came to.

Axl gotta be trans masc.

Back then that was so cool to me, and my household didn't have a pc to just look stuff up so until I was like 12 this was just canon to me and I was honestly a lil bit bummed when I figured out that he wasn't in fact trans.

But honestly I will stick with this headcanon and people are very likely to loose their fingers before they can pry this headcanon out of my cold dead hands.

TLDR: 10 year old wiika though axl was a trans dude and 12 year old wiika was very disappointed to learn that he was in fact not but chooses to think he is anyways bc it makes her happy

(also this is about the eng dubbing of the games, I don't even know if there is a german dubbing to be honest. I live in a part of germany that was under US supervision after ww2 so kids usually learn english very early over here and I understood the games no problemo. I actually learned english in my last year of kindergarden at like 6)

(I give fortune readings to family members and to myself) Videogames, teaching myself how to knit, taking care of my cat Ivy, and also studying plants to one day have a nice garden 🪴 I also love listening to music, I actually like all kinds of music and I like to spread out and listen to different things, however Phonk, Pop and Rock are my top 3 favs. When im just chilling and vibing in my room i’ll put on Lo-fi or calming/serene meditation music.

The way I present myself is relatively simple, I love long and baggy clothes, hoodies, sweaters, turtle necks, just a LOT of comfy and cozy vibes. I dont like wearing short skirts but I LOVE wearing long dresses to just flow around in. However one day I’d really really like to wear a fancy sparkly suit 🥹 As for color schemes, def on the darker tone! But every now and then i’ll rock something bright!

What i’d what in the relationship is mainly just someone being there and present for me, its not about being alone but just more of just KNOWING someone is there for me physically or not. Kind gestures that are even super small to most will literally make me melt. I also LOVE being able to take care of my partner, making them dinner/coffee/tea, you name it. If they got hurt? Im patching them up, nightmare? Im comforting them the moment they wake up. Getting them water, a coat, you name it. I also love giving gifts that I made, i’d also spoil them rotten with store bought gifts but they can expect a LOT of handmade crafts and DIYs LOL

Y'know I know ask games are for people to, y'know, send in asks. But I don't see people often just. Fill it all out themselves. Fuck it I'll help out the shy people.

SO ASK GAME BELOW 'READMORE' LET'S GO

1. Art programs you have but don't use: MS Paint, Blender, I used to have WAY more like this one painting [like actual paint] program.

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even): Left is easiest, Right is in the middle, and forward is the hardest of those three for me.

3. What ideas come from when you were little: I was fascinated by G/T from like. 3 years old. I blame Super Mario Land 2 LMAO

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw: Handheld, perspective, monsters/creatures, and massive scale

5. Estimate of how much of your art you post online vs. the art you keep for yourself: Uhhh probably about 50/50? A lot of things I draw are spoilers, shitposts, and other study art I don't bother sharing.

6. Anything that might inspire you subconsciously (i.e. this horse wasn't supposed to look like the Last Unicorn but I see it): Not that I can think of? My art doesn't get analyzed super often. I think people think I study anime more than I do.

7. A medium of art you don't work in but appreciate: Charcoal, watercolors, sculpture, oil pastels, acrylic, copic markers

8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in: Originally I was going to make an AMV with my two characters, Nonny and Felicia, to the song 'shut up and dance with me'. These two aren't active OCs anymore, and the project was WAY too ambitious for my skill level 9 years ago lmao.

9. What are your file name conventions: 1: Name of song I listened to on loop while drawing. 2: An inside joke. 3: Literal rep of what's on the canvas like 'Hema doodles Aug 2023'.

10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw: Body suits, capes, scarves

11. Do you listen to anything while drawing? If so, what: TONS. My fave lyrical music, videogame soundtracks, sometimes just ambiance if I'm overwhelmed. Usually tho it's the same song on loop till I get the inspired piece out of my system.

12. Easiest part of body to draw: Eyes!

13. A creator who you admire but whose work isn't your thing: A lot of NSFW artists who I won't list here LMAO. I don't go to that school, but their art skills are top-notch.

14. Any favorite motifs: Mirrors, doppelgangers, leaving 1 eye absent for emotional effect, feathers/wings, falling, sinking into water, eyes, dark palettes with bright accents/light sources, glowing eyes, flowing hair, size difference/scale, fucked up version of self vs real version

15. *Where* do you draw (don't drop your ip address this just means do you doodle at a park or smth): Starbucks, home, parks if I'm feelin spicy, anywhere I take my tablet for the day.

16. Something you are good at but don't really have fun doing: A lot of my niche/kink stuff tends to get pretty dredge-y for me. I may be good at it, but it's not where my passion lies. That's in animation, fantasy, dramatic stuff, storytelling, etc.

17. Do you eat/drink when drawing? if so, what: Water or Snapple for the drink, milk if it's bedtime so I can settle down, and then usually the snacks are just whatever my lunch is for the day since we don't have a table.

18. An estimate of how much art supplies you've broken: Not many! Less than $100 I'd say. I'm very careful with my supplies, and I don't believe I've ever broken a tablet. The worst I've done was I busted 1 or 2 cheap tablet pens with stupidity.

19. Favorite inanimate objects to draw (food, nature, etc.): Definitely nature. Tree trunks and swirls therein, flowers, grass.

20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy: Humans! Not that it's an 'everyone' thing, I just run in some furry circles where human artists are a rarity. Eyes, too. Some people find expressions rly hard.

21. Art styles nothing like your own but you like anyways: Uhhh man damn, I don't follow a lot of art styles that aren't something I took inspo from? But I guess Wolf Walkers is my biggest one.

22. What physical exercises do you do before drawing, if any: Sooometimes I stretch, but I don't do it nearly often enough.

23. Do you use different layer modes: Yep! My most common ones are Multiply, Glow Dodge, Add, Add Glow, Overlay, Pin Light, and Color.

24. Do your references include stock images: Absolutely! Reference is important.

25. Something your art has been compared to that you were NOT inspired by: Not much! Most of my inspirations are pretty clear-cut and strong. Avatar, SU, Disney, Dreamworks, FMA, some Warner Brothers' movies, etc.

26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended: God, so, the G/T gif of mine that makes the rounds a lot? The one where VT finds someone small and it's their POV and he helps them and puts them in his shirt pocket??? Most people were completely normal about that post. But then there's one chuckle-head who was calling it pocket-vore, and I wanted to scream. I even chastised them like 'hey uh, no. That's not what this is.' and they argued back with 'well it's up to the eye of the beholder more than your opinion.' and I was like 'UH NO. I MADE THIS. MY OPINION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR WEIRD ONE???' I've also RAAARELY had people call my characters underaged when they're all well over 21, so those are always gross/wild LMAO.

27. Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with: Sometimes! I usually do an anatomy study, brush stroke warm-ups, or just doodle something personal first.

28. Any art events you have participated in the past (like zines): I think Multi Animator Projects [MAPS] would count here! I was part of Starclan's Chosen, Change Your Mind [Brambleclaw], Levitating, Family of Me [fallenleaves], Goosebumps Warriors MAP, Pay No Mind MEP, LA Devotee [never finished], White Rabbit, and Fear Garden! Among others :>

29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically: Not much! Pretty much everything I love inspires me artistically. I guess some anime styles?

30. What piece of yours do you think is underrated: Pretty much any of my animations. But I only feel that way cuz they take THE MOST dedication and work time. Also kiiiinda my writing? But a lot of people have trouble getting people to respond to literature, so.
