Another commission, this time from @liches-covered-in-lich featuring his Morokei! This commission took a couple weeks working on and off, but the result, I believe, was worth the wait!

This was a joy to make, all the details and the colorful palette, plus the sparkly metallic gel pens applied across different parts of the drawing.

Oh god I did not mean to leave this so long but I have been so busy lately I'm so sorry 😭 I will just talk about dragon priests in this one or it would be REALLY long especially with Daedra as I've got a lot of headcannons for multiple daedric races. (Sadly I've got nothing for Falmer really they've not gripped me, but I do have Maoromer stuff).

Starting at the top for Dragon Preists, I personally think each preist had a dragon and was chosen by that dragon. For example Nahkriin and Alduin, Morokei and Odahviing, Krosis and Paarthurnax, Zaan and Thurvokun.

There's no requirements as to become a dragon priest other than what the dragons want. You could train all your life to be an acoltye to serve the dragons and get nothing or you could be some random farm girl in the middle of a nowhere down pushing cows over and a dragon is like YOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I also think Dragon Priest's masks have a unique appearance that cant be mimiced in game because gotta save time in those game crunches. And these masks resemble the dragon of the prest some what (example: my nahkriin and morokei)

And also the mask does effect the wearer to get that trait. For example Nahkriin became more vengeful and unforgiving. Hevnoraak became more brutal, Morokei became more reluctant to admit defeat. These masks also give their weilder immortality and the presits are in some cases several hundred years old by the time of the Dragon War.

Their general jobs are what you expect. To govern the lands the dragons control because the dragons don't want to deal with tax laws. Dragon Priests also spoke only dovahzul really to each other, defenatly only dovhazul in public. As Dovhazul was not commonly taught it was to put them 'above' the general population. If a Dragon Priest had to adress the public they'd have some lesser acolyite translate for them.

Dragon Priests could have spouces and kids they where not barred from it. However, it was unlikely they'd have a lot of time and generally wouldn't be a acive parent. (See Nahkriin and his family:)

Dragon Priests can also have afflictions such as vamperisum and lycantrhopy. In my lore Hevnoraak is a werewolf. The other priests do know about this but keep it hidden as they do not want an issue with the general population.

This also reminds me, physcally Dragon priests are either atmoran or ancient nord (that time between the atmorans becoming modern day nords) and due to this they're a lot bigger than the average nord. Usually easily reaching the high 6ft to high 7ft range. Their ears where also slightly pointed but not to the levels of elves or bretons.

Being a preist also gave them better control over the Thu'um, they wern't aas good as a dragonborn of course but could easily out skill the greybeards as the dragon magic they borrowed from their masters did give them asome dragon born like qualities.

I think this is the majority of my headcannons without going too much into my own plots with the Dragon Priests. Thank you for asking!
