omg ok so we got morry after an acquaintance got relocated to a nursing home and before he was living with his owner in a retirement community. the long term care nurses would hit him if he went on the furniture so for the whole 6 months we've had him he's been too afraid to come into the living room... but in the last couple days he's been coming in and yesterday and today he sat on the couch with me 😢😭 he's such a sweet old man

🎨 - Can they draw? What do they like to draw?

Yes! Alith is quite a good artist, but mostly in pencils or charcoals. She’s intimidated by painting. She got into it originally to design things she would then go on to forge, but slowly got into the habit of doodling things she liked when on trips away. Or making notes of things she hasn’t seen before. Though it’s not always at the forefront of her mind, so she tends to forget to bring supplies with her. Oops.

👻 - Do they believe in ghosts? What are their “ghostly experiences”, if any?

Oh, 100%. She’s not really had any experiences but she has a completely unshakable believe in ghosts. It’s been backed up because of Harmony, who has gained powers from fallen ancestors. Alith has high regard for the dead and regularly makes sure the local graveyard in her town is tended to well for that reason.

🌱 - What is their most vivid memory from childhood?

Setting her hair alight. Yaknow those little short fluffy bits of hair she has that can’t be pulled back into a ponytail? Burnt off hair. She has done it more than she would care to admit. But no one forgets their first time. Don’t worry, her mother diligently put it out. Possibly from nearly slapping her over the head but it worked so she cannot complain. Second is smashing her face into an anvil while running around playing. Thank goodness for clerics.

📦 - What are some “most likely to..” that can apply to them?

Most likely to get arrested.

Most likely to get cursed.

Most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse.

Most likely to cut of everyone you’ve ever known, move to the middle of no where and start again under a new name.

🎁 - What types of presents would they most be happy to receive? Are they good at gift giving?

Morry is man who owns way too much weird shit, so he is a nightmare to get anything for. However if you can show him something even teeny tiny that he has never seen before he will get absolutely giddy. Which is hard to do for a 100 year old wizard who’s seen a lot of shit, but that just makes it so much better when it does happen. However he’s not much of a gift giver, but he can get you some freakin amazing stuff. Birthdays with Morry are never boring that’s for sure, as long as you don’t mind something a little cursed.

Harmony:

🍩 - Favourite sweet treat?

Harmony is much more into savoury, so she is really picky about sweets. Weirdly, anything with jam, specifically raspberry or cherry, will get her interested. Even just a bit on some bread is a nice easy treat for her. She’s gotten into the habit of making herself large amounts of jam to last her into the months where it’s no longer in season.

🙊 - What is something your oc will refuse to stay quiet about?

Alith is quite the brick wall of a person, happy to lie when she deems fit but there are Very fine lines for her. A colossal fuck up will barely be kept quiet for 5 seconds with her around. It comes possibly from growing up around fire and hot metal, there’s no hiding fuck ups there and she just feels it’s infinitely better to come clean and deal with it than hide it. Can’t really hide a giant burnt hole in the floor with a piece of liquid metal in the centre. But it also means if you come running to her to admit something without hiding it she will almost always help you with it. Sometimes it’s hard to know where the line is drawn for her and people find out the hard way when they turn their back and she is just Gone because she’s tattling on you. (Goddamn younger siblings)

💓 - What gets their heart racing?

She is a simple woman, she loves to see her girlfriend going absolutely ham. Nothing makes her heart flutter like Harmony going for the fucking jugular of someone/thing that harmed her. She’s totally lost her place on the battlefield because she’s too busy staring at her gf ripping someone to shreds. Displays of power. However more gentle things like being surprised with a bit of homemade food speaks volumes to her.

🔫 - Do they trust people easily? How easily will they turn their back on someone? Have they been backstabbed before? Will they betray someone if given an ultimatum?

Alith is very slow to trust, certain gestures will speed up the process but she is a very wary person. She isn’t afraid to make her opinions known and if she repeatedly butts heads with someone she won’t force that shit, she will drop them. She hasn’t been backstabbed… Yet. She’s got a close knit group of friends who she trusts and rarely lets unknown people close enough for that to happen. Which also means she would almost never betray any of them. I say almost because I have no idea what ultimatum could be presented, but she would fight that kinda shit as hard as she could.

Morry:

🌈 - What advice would they give to their younger self?

Oh lord. What a question for a 100 year old man. Possibly “don’t buy that one cursed dagger, my hands are still messed up I could do without the aggravation.” “As hard as it is to lose someone you care about it hurts more to not have anyone to love.” And “Buy those gods damned slippers sooner no one even notices they think they’re funny little wizard shoes.” He would spend like 2 hours thinking about this.

Setac:

🍁 - What is their favourite season? Why?

Summer! Summer summer SUMMER. Little lizard man cannot hide the fact he wants to bask on a rock while it’s nice and humid. Plus it’s the peak time for fruit pies, one of his favourite treats. Nothing more enjoyable than lazying in a river somewhere on a nice hot day.

Harmony:

🍧 - Do they still have any objects from their childhood? What significance does it have to them? What would their reaction be if they lost it?

Hmmm… Harmony admittedly doesn’t have an awful lot left from her childhood. She left home very suddenly one day, just grabbing what she could and basically rebuilt her life and didn’t look back. The main thing she still has is the matching family robes. Everyone had one specially made for them, Setac still has his and keeps it pristine. Harmony has hers bundled up in a closet, barely looking at it. To her it’s a relic of a time she doesn’t want to go back to. As relationships mend with her mother, maybe it’ll come out again. But it might get modified into something new.

📎 - A random fact

Hm! Hmmm….

Harmony kinda wishes she could be a druid. She’s very jealous of folks who can use magic. She takes very good care of her plants and talks to them often and when she found out druids can understand and speak to plants? She went nuts! She gazes longingly at her plants wishing she could know what was going on in there. She only trusts her druid neighbour to take care of her plants when she’s gone, but refuses to know what her plants feel from them, she thinks it’s cheating.
