RANT

okay so I get together with this guy from work (I know first mistake) and we flirt for like 2 weeks. He finally asks me to come have dinner with him and his child (she's such a cutie) and I say yes because Finally! We have an amazing time and it gets late enough that I just stay the night (second mistake) we go from half clothed to cuddling naked. We're talking about all sorts of things and he says "if we do end up getting serious then we shouldn't bring it to work" and I'm on board for that because hey work is all sorts of drama. (in hind sight a red flag?) You can guess where this is going, but we have sex and its soo good, like fuck yes please more all the time. wake up in the morning after snuggles in bed with his kiddo (almost had a nip slip lol) and have breakfast. I'm thinking to myself that everything is going so nicely and he's such a sweetheart. I could really like this guy ya know. Well cut to a couple days later when I mess up at work and during that he happens t be in the office. We both get yelled at and later on I ask if he wants to get together that night. his response was "I don't know, honestly I'm not looking for anything serious at the moment. Also I don't want to create waves at work. I'm still up for hanging out with you as a friend but I'm not wanting to pursue anything serious right now. Sorry I hope this makes sense." ....yeah...I feel like a total idiot. I feel used and dirty. I am under the assumption that he's looking to have an actual relationship by the previous conversations and then once I actually have sex with him "I'm not looking for anything serious" like BOI WHAT THE FUCK! I tell him friends is fine because of course he's texted me while I'm napping before work (graveyards suck man). After that I go over again and we cuddle most of the night and he explains that "He's not in a place where he can get attached to anyone" and I'm like okay the sex is still really good and cuddles are A+. I can roll with this. Ever since then anytime we spend any time together he totally ignores me for days and then when I ask when he wants to hang he pulls this bullshit again. That he gets the feeling that I still want to be more, and I'm like broski I'm over it. (I had a bit of an emotional day and he made me cry right before my period the week before) He keeps going "I just don't want you to feel disrespected or like I'm leading you on or you getting too attached to me" like DUUUUUUUDE make up your damn mind. The "we can still have fun" comments keep getting to me as well. Like what do you want from ME!?!?!?! I'm so done with people assuming they know how I feel. I was totally chill with just being friends with benefits because the dick was good, but I don't know if I can handle this constant emotional rollercoaster from his end. I would like to get off now please. Does anyone have any advice???????
