apparently when Astarion is reading the Necromancy of Thay book and he says "No I won't kill them. Well maybe [character name]" the companion he mentions is always the one who has the highest approval with the player (or second highest if he has the highest approval) Lmao He is jealous. I didn't know how this works. I thought it's random but he always said Shadowheart in my game and I never figured out why.

Bruce doesn’t use a ton of pet names/terms of endearment, but Brucie Wayne does. So when they’re in public, Bruce takes great delight in calling Clark all kinds of stupid names, and Clark, who also doesn’t use pet names excessively but grew up in the midwest and so has a whole arsenal, will not go down without a fight. So they get in these passive aggressive fights of calling each other the cringiest names they can think of.

why is there such a big thing in dw fandom that people think the companion needs to be relatable to the audience. do u not sometimes want to see someone in completely different circumstances/with different traits and flaws to u. personally i would find it incredibly boring if i could relate to every single companion

I'm allowed to make this joke, but I love that Jewish death rituals are like:
"Pfeh, for what should I spend $12,000 on a big fekakte box they see only for five minutes before they cover it with dirt?"
"Don't waste my good suit what might fit my nephew Lev if the bum should ever even try to get a real job!"
"Embalming? Don't mind me, I'll rot in the dark."
