One of those days where I'm ready to give it all up and become a wandering wizard

One night Mothrandir, attracted by the glow coming from the windows, walks into a bar. There he meets Egalmothman who is standing before the hearth. Mothrandir walks up alongside him and the two stare at the fire as though mesmerized. Nearby, a hobbit rolls his eyes and then physically turns them around. Immediately they both snap out of it and point at each other in recognition. The hobbit isn't sure which of them shouts 'you!' first, but he wanders off back to his beer. What happens now?
One of two things. They fight. Or get down to business. I propose the first one, leading to the second.
"Oblivious to the hobbit in the corner, the two mothlings transformed fully into their insectile forms.
For Mothrandir, the transformation was thusly: first a single moth flew away from the cuff of his sleeve. Then another. Then another. And then a torrent flew away from the individual to reveal a cloud of moths, fluttering in sync as if all their wings were moved by a single agent, a single mind operating across the whole swarm. The shouts and accusations that they tossed at each other became disembodied on this side of the Poet Lord and deepened as if the very winds themselves spoke through him. And perhaps they did, for it has been long known that Mothrandir is the servant of Manwë who is lord of all that goes above the earth and flows in the air. The swarm of moths bubbled and writhed about as if itching to strike out at the rageful opponent
Egalmothman's transformation was less startling but more gruesome by several degrees. Dangling horns grew out from his head and thinned into antennae whilst he hunched over near double from the force of his moth wings exploding out if his body and ripping away his mortal vestment. But his eyes. They were the worst of the whole ordeal. Eyes like sapphire dimmed and became black as night with sprinklings of white to show where his irises had been as the same time as the whites of his eyes darkened through grey and intro the selfsame black as his pupils. Large and deep, these dark wells of light twitched on the man's face as he hurled insult and challenge alike at Mothrandir.
It should be said now that the poor, wretched Hobbit watching all this over his beer saw these beasts until the end of his days and it is still said that his soul's sleeping is plagued by nightmares of what transpired there.
Thusly the fight went after the petrified halfling fled in witless and abject terror:
"Slave of Manwë, I offer thee the chance to flee ere I strike thee with my blade and rend thine skin and soul both from thee now!" Egalmothman thundered.
"You offer me nothing but insult, wretched and foul half creature!" the winds and skies and clouds cried through the disembodied voice of the Poet Lord "I shall rend you into dust and your worthless hide will be set full with mud and clay for that is what you are and all you are worth!"
At this point, egalmothman ran out of new insults and drew a twisted blade from the sheath that by a freak miracle had not burst away from him when he transformed slashing and hacking away at the cloud of Mothrandir.....
To be continued....
