Week 3 - 90 Days to Higher Self-Worth
We are at Week #3 of my workbook, 90 Days to Higher Self-Worth.  I’m doing the daily exercises with you because I want to level up my life, and I need to walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
Week 3 is dedicated to developing motivation.  Finding the motivation to go after a goal is second only to having the confidence to believe you can have the results of achieving a goal.
We all have motivation, but motivation is reduced to wishful and self-delusional thinking without action.
If I say to myself, “I want to lose weight,” but take no action to change my diet or modify my exercise routines to meet my goal of losing weight, I am daydreaming.
You see, motivation exists in everyone.  The difference between those who use motivation as the fuel to get what they want is those who believe they are worthy of the goal.
Let’s consider my friend Kevin, who’s crazy about cacti.  His Instagram page is called Crazy about Cactus.  Kevin loves all things cacti and wanted to grow rare variants of cacti and sell them to his loving community.  Kevin has the motivation to sell rare breeds of cacti but did not see how he could grow them without investing in a serious greenhouse.  The thought of spending $1,000s on a hobby that might produce side hustle money was too far outside of his worthiness.
Kevin had the motivation to grow rare cacti but lacked the action - until he gained the confidence and belief that he was worthy of a beautiful greenhouse and the rare plants it would produce.
As soon as he took mental ownership of the greenhouse - the size, type, location, and cost - he could not find the motivation to make the dream a reality.
Kevin would say, “I just can’t find the motivation to work on my dream.”
One day, Kevin decided he wanted more than anything.  He wrote a short success statement - just for the greenhouse - that included its type, location, and size.  It went like this:
“My custom-built greenhouse is gorgeous! It is exactly what I needed to protect, grow and showcase my wonderful plants. The collaboration with NW Greenpanels was mutually beneficial, and I have influenced the Cactus & Succulent Community to consider them for their greenhouse builds. The build process was simple & smooth, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. My plants have a beautiful home, and I am stoked!”
Kevin read this affirmation twice a day for 14 days when he discovered a way to pay for the greenhouse and get it installed.  The doors that appeared to be closed earlier were now open, and he could see the path clearly to realizing his dream.  60 days later, they were pouring the foundation.
Motivation appears when you take mental ownership of the dream - as if it has already occurred.  We naturally and effortlessly take action because we feel we deserve the outcome.

SUN IN THE 2nd HOUSE; Observations
Tumblr media
This is a great second house placement. It guarantees success. Those who have their Sun in the second house are loyal to the coin and willing to put in the work. These individuals are quite accomplished and gravitate towards careers with high earning potential. Business skills come naturally to them. They are gracious, but at the same time know their worth. People with this placement put themselves in positions that will grant opportunity. They are creative with financial resources. Getting to a place of financial independence and stability is incredibly important for these people, and they want to accomplish this on their own. They are highly respected and prompted into positions of authority. This is the placement of a high powered boss or CEO. They are disciplined without having to be cold about it, their charismatic approach is welcomed when it comes to money matters. Sun second housers know what they’re doing too, these go-getters are steadfast. Being goal oriented by nature takes them far in life, with a head start at a young age. They are depended on as leaders and many people rely on them. Sometimes they put themselves under too much pressure, but it's hard not to when they are so aware of their own potential. Earning money is one of their main motivators in life because it is closely tied with their ego. This influence is not as strong for water signs, but it is especially pronounced for earth signs. Their confidence and self-esteem plummets if they feel as though they’re not making enough money. They want all the expensive things and were made for luxury. Being able to live out a lavish lifestyle is a dream for them. Identifying themselves through possessions can become a problem. I’ve noticed that a “new money” stereotype is often associated with people who have this placement because they are loud about how much money they make. They often bring up how much money they are making, and they like to show this off through clothing and possessions. There is a tendency to become materialistic with this placement. Learning how to view life outside of the perspective of costs is a touch challenge. However, their generous nature often brings them out of this. Looking towards how they can help serve others will fulfill Sun second housers and resolve this tie between ego and money.

Hi I love your insight and would love if you did July 17 for your language of birthday’s series, thank you! 💕🩰🎀
Language Of Birthdays: July 17 - Cancer
The Day Of Career Concerns
Those born on July 17 often manifest a great urge to become a star or rise to the top in their career. Yet this desire is belied by their modest, serious, even shy demeanour. One should not mistake their quietness for passivity or reclusiveness, however, for in their chosen field of endeavour they are dynamic personalities to be reckoned with. Behind a serious exterior often lies a fine sense of humour which comes out when they are relaxed. Less highly evolved individuals born on this day may be frustrated with their lives because they have not yet discovered their strengths nor acknowledged the latent ambition that simmers within them.
July 17 people may fix on money or objects of power but more often than not invest their time and energy in themselves. Less highly evolved individuals born on this day may misplace their energies on undeserving people, organizations or trivial pursuits, thus robbing themselves of their most precious possession—time. Career counselling early in life may be helpful to some July 17 people not only to determine where their abilities lie but also to learn how best to promote them.
July 17 people do well as freelancers, small businesspeople and in jobs with a high degree of autonomy. They may very well have a supporting husband or wife in the back- ground but for the most part are solo players. For a time they can enjoy a regular nine-to-five job, but when they have gained the experience they need they had better move on to more independent ventures. Once they have established themselves in a suitable field of endeavour, they will inexorably rise to the top. This makes them a very worthwhile investment for any affluent person who believes in them.
So strong are the convictions and self-confidence of highly evolved July 17 people that they have the patience to wait years for recognition, as long as they are able to continue their chosen work without interruption. All the while they are influencing, perhaps manipulating those around them in very subtle ways to further their work objectives. July 17 people must periodically evaluate their progress, however, as it may be that they are moving too slowly. Finding a capable agent or representative may be crucial to those artists born on this day whose work demands exposure.
Sometimes, life events cause a July 17 person to change direction while at or approaching the pinnacle of success. Often this move will be humanly motivated, either through self-realization, a spectacular revelation, or accident of some kind. Generally July 17 people apply the same energy to their new life's work, though it may be of a less ambitious, perhaps more spiritual nature. Those born on this day are also capable of resuming earlier careers later in life.
Strengths:
Ambitious
Self-confident
Serious
Weaknesses:
Overconfident
Unapproachable
Hardened
Advice
July 17 people are usually well motivated when it comes to caring for their physical health, as they understand that their success depends on it. In addition to their sensible diet they should also take sufficient vitamin and mineral supplements, particularly vitamin C. However, unless they prepare themselves psychologically as well they will neither be able to withstand competitive stresses in their work nor will they be tough enough to handle tragedy, if and when it strikes. Those July 17 people who have not denoted enough time to getting to know themselves or have become overly dependent emotionally on a supporting figure in their lives may break down over the loss of a loved one. Thus all activities promoting self-awareness (spiritual training, yoga, psychological therapy, classes, reading and study) will be well worth the investment.
Give at least as much as you get
Avoid manipulating those close to you; make your intentions clear
Don't sacrifice human concerns for your ambition
Lighten up and let yourself laugh

The Role of Attitude Girl Quotes in Shaping Female Leadership
Female leadership bears the hallmark of strength, wisdom, and boldness. It's grounded in the power of words and the conviction they imbue. One way to stimulate these qualities in budding women leaders is through attitude girl quotes. These potent phrases have demonstrated a significant influence on instilling leadership traits among females.
In this blog post, we will examine the role of attitude girl quotes in shaping female leadership and how they nurture inspiration, confidence, resilience, and integrity among aspiring women leaders.
Catalyst for Change
Quotes that emanate from strong female leaders carry the power to provoke thought and effect change. Madeleine Albright, the first woman to become the US Secretary of State, once said, "There is a special place in hell for women who do not help other women." This quote not only illuminates the importance of women supporting women but also underpins the necessity of societal change.
Fostering Confidence and Belief
Attitude girl quotes play an essential role in bolstering a sense of self-worth and belief, critical components of successful leadership. Such quotes, like Sheryl Sandberg's "Believe in yourself and negotiate for yourself. Own your own success," teach girls and young women that confidence is not just about feeling good about oneself. It's about assuming command of one's life and career, speaking up, and knowing one's value.
Resilience and Persistence
Quotes that communicate resilience and the power of persistence inculcate ideals of tenacity in the face of adversity—traits that every leader needs. As Michelle Obama stated, "Success isn't about how much money you make. It's about the difference you make in people's lives." Such a quote encourages women to remain steadfast in their pursuit of success, defined not by monetary wealth but by profound positive influence.
Championing Diversity and Equality
Diversity and equality are cornerstones of ethical leadership. Attitude girl quotes can boost efforts towards cultivating these concepts. Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the late Supreme Court Justice, profoundly said, “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made." This quote expresses the unequivocal need for women's representation in decision-making roles, pushing for equality and diversity in leadership.
Inspiring Action and Innovation
Effective leadership also involves spurring action and innovation. Attitude girl quotes can fuel such characteristics. Melinda Gates emphasized this, stating, "A woman with a voice is, by definition, a strong woman." By associating voice with strength, this quote motivates women to step forward, share their ideas, and create impactful changes.
In conclusion, attitude girl quotes play an intrinsic role in shaping female leadership. They elicit feelings of confidence, inspire actions to provoke change, foster resilience, and encourage diversity and representation. These quotes are not just words; they are powerful mantras that evoke visions of potential, resilience, and tenacity for every woman who aspires to be a leader. By influencing the mindset of girls and women alike, these quotes are indeed micro stepping-stones in the journey towards leadership.

Commission-Only Sales Reps: Myths vs. Reality
The sales world may be full of some shrouded myths. This is especially true when it comes to hiring commission-only sales reps. If you’re planning to tweak your strategies, let’s help you cut through the fog of misconceptions and explore the realities of working with these dedicated professionals.
Myth #1: Commission-Only Reps Are Less Motivated
Fact: It’s quite the opposite! Commission-only sales reps are often highly motivated. They aren’t only in it for quick money. Their earnings are directly tied to their performance, which helps foster a driven, results-oriented mindset. Ideally, they are go-getters, constantly seeking opportunities to excel in their field.
Myth #2: They Provide Poor Customer Service
Fact: In sales, customer service is everything. Like other employees, commission-only reps understand this, too. They know building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction are critical to long-term success and repeat business. In several cases, their commitment to customer service exceeds that of salaried workers because their future earnings depend on maintaining these relationships. So, a lack of a fixed salary doesn’t equate to a lack of commitment.
Myth #3: Only Desperate Companies Hire Commission-Only Reps
Fact: This is a major misconception. Hiring people on a commission basis isn’t a sign of a struggling business. Many reputable companies today hire commission-only reps to benefit from their self-starting nature and varied sales expertise. Besides, this structure can be excellent for startups or businesses looking to scale without the overhead of a fixed salary while still retaining confident individuals.
Myth #4: Commission-Only Reps Lack Company Loyalty
Fact: Many believe that since commission-only sales representatives are short-term employees, they may lack company loyalty. Contrary to the belief, their commitment is tied to the success they achieve with a company. They can be some of the most loyal employees if they're valued. Their unique position often gives them a deeper understanding of the market and trends, making them invaluable assets.
Myth #5: They Aren't as Skilled as Salaried Reps
Fact: This is very similar to the preconceived notion that freelancers may be less capable than those working full-time at an organization. Such a misconception couldn't be further from the truth. Many people deliberately choose this career path for the flexibility and autonomy it offers. Hire commission-only sales reps with a rich skill set, and they'd be adept in different settings, continually honing their skills while staying competitive.
Being able to differentiate facts from false information can change your entire perspective. Commission-only sales reps bring unique skills and motivations to the table, making them indispensable in a competitive business environment. By debunking these myths, you can appreciate their role in driving business growth and sustaining customer relationships.
Final Words
Commission-only sales reps are far more than what the stereotypes suggest. They are driven, skilled, and committed to achieving success in whatever position they are in. Recognizing their worth is the key to leveraging their talents effectively. If you are still looking to get the best talent on board, partner with a qualified sales recruitment firm to help you with your needs. At Jayce Grayye Consulting & Recruiting, we do just that. Our experts have helped several businesses hire employees that align with their company objectives, and we can help you, too. Get in touch to know more.

In this article, we will explore the importance of business coaching, the benefits of certification programs, and how they can unlock your full potential.
Why Business Coaching?
Business coaching has gained significant popularity in recent years, and for good reason. With the ever-evolving business landscape, it is crucial to have someone who can guide you and provide valuable insights tailored to your unique goals and challenges. Here are some compelling reasons why business coaching is worth considering:
1. Enhanced Self-awareness: A business coach acts as a mirror, reflecting your strengths, weaknesses, and blind spots. Through various assessment tools and techniques, they help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your potential, paving the way for personal and professional growth.
2. Goal Clarity and Strategy: Many individuals struggle with setting specific goals and developing an actionable plan to achieve them . A business coach helps you clarify your goals, break them down into manageable steps, and create a strategic roadmap to success. They hold you accountable and provide ongoing support to ensure you stay on track towards achieving your desired outcomes.
3. Access to Expertise: Business coaches are experienced professionals who have a wealth of knowledge in their respective fields. They offer valuable insights, practical advice, and industry-specific expertise that can save you time, money, and unnecessary trial and error.
4. Increased Confidence and Motivation: The journey towards success can be filled with uncertainties and self-doubt. A business coach acts as a source of motivation and encouragement, helping you build confidence in your abilities and pushing you to overcome obstacles and reach your full potential.
5. Leadership and Communication Skills: Effective leadership and communication skills are essential for anyone looking to thrive in the business world. A business coach can help you develop and refine these skills, enabling you to inspire and influence others, build strong relationships, and lead with authenticity and purpose.

Why should I attend a free military Academy for troubled youth?
Many people are misinformed about military schools. There is a misconception that military schools are only for troubled youth who are juvenile delinquents and that corporal punishment is an essential component of the controlled program. The primary goal of most military schools is to create a healthy, patriotic, and stimulating environment where students are motivated to reach their full potential.
Here are some reasons why you should attend a free military school:
1. Military Schools Instill Discipline
When you think of military school, discipline is the first thing that comes to mind. In fact, discipline is the cornerstone of military education, but it does not always mean severity. Order is created by discipline. Order produces results. Anyone who has achieved success knows that discipline is one of the keys to achieving it.
2. Military schools help build character
Character traits often lacking in a student’s public school education are developed in military institutions. These characteristics include sincerity, self-control, drive, initiative, courage, and confidence. Military personnel employed by these institutions have spent their careers perfecting the methods necessary to foster moral character in others. Students are taught under his guidance how to make wise judgments and deal with the consequences of wrong actions.
3. They teach students the benefits of teamwork.
The day-to-day in a military school focuses on developing leadership skills and teamwork. Students are taught to follow the initial step in the leadership experience, which progresses to roles that place students in positions of responsibility.
In a military school, students not only study collaboration but also put it into practice on a daily basis. Because they live together, they must cooperate as a team to achieve unit goals.
4. They Produce Distinguished Graduates
Military schools are known to produce first-class graduates who have been successful in almost every other aspect of life.
5. Everything is structured
A structured environment offers a high degree of organization and predictability. Activities are planned for each day, rules are consistently followed, expectations are clarified, and consequences are recognized.

How to Apply to Free Military Schools for Troubled Youth
Getting accepted to one of the free military schools is quite challenging. Some of the admission requirements, such as transcripts, GPA, letters of recommendation, writing samples, etc., are the same as applying to a regular university. But even those minimum standards are high. For most military schools, you must score 1300 on the SAT or 30 on the ACT. Also, academies prefer to see challenging courses like AP or International Baccalaureate courses on your record.
If you want to study at a military academy like West Point, there are a number of things you need to do that are different from the admissions process at other schools. First, you must take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test. All branches of the US Military administer the ASVAB to candidates to help them assess their suitability to enlist in any of the services.
In addition to being rigorous and competitive, the admission requirements for all institutions except the Coast Guard Academy require an Act of Congress (actually, it’s a Congressional nomination, but you get the idea). A member of the House of Representatives or the Senate nominates 75% of those admitted to the academies.
The Vice President may also make a nomination. There are a maximum of five candidates for each of these positions at any given time at a military academy. Only the children of professional military officers are eligible for presidential nominations, which are unlimited.

Week 2 - 90 Days to Higher Self-Worth
On this show, we break down Week #2 of the 90 Days to Higher Self-Worth daily workbook. I am doing the workbook with you, week by week.  What I’ve learned is that self-worth can always be moved higher.  As we transition in life, our goals change.
When my children were young, I was focused on providing a safe home, contributing to the family income, and being a great father.  My purpose and mission changed as our kids grew up and moved out.  I no longer have the demands of daily fatherhood, allowing me to explore other opportunities and dreams.  Each season of life has different priorities, and we adjust to those changes by raising our self-worth to achieve the goals we want at that time in life.
Therefore, I need to walk the talk and discover my next barriers, so I am doing the 90 Days workbook with you.
This brings us to our topic of Week #2 - Confidence.
Confidence is ridiculously important to personal development.  As a society, we are naturally drawn to highly confident people.
I’m not talking about boastful or ego-driven people, I’m talking about people who know they are worthy of a good life, believe in themselves, and have the mindset to pursue it.
This week, my friend Carlos called me and wanted career advice.  He’s a recruiter of legal talent and finds the business tedious and unfulfilling.  Carlos called me in despair - frustrated that he had wasted time and energy in the headhunting industry and was killing him.
I said to Carlos, “What would a confident person do?”
Carlos was quiet.  I waited because I knew he knew the answer.
Finally, Carlos broke the silence and said, “A confident person would make a list of possible career opportunities and evaluate them.”
I said, “And then what would a confident person do?”
He said, “Probably run the list by friends I trust and get their input.”
“And then what?” I said.
He was quiet again.  “I get it,” he said with a brighter tone and confidence.
“Carlos,” I said, “you know what to do.  If you do not have the confidence to move forward, ask yourself what a person with confidence would do.  We all know someone who is confident and believes in themselves.  Ask yourself, what would they do?”
Carlos is not alone. He is like 1000s of women and men I know who know what to do but lack the confidence and self-worth to move forward.
Let’s take a minute to break down how confidence is built.  Confidence has its roots in self-worth.  At the base of confidence is the awareness that we are worthy of an outcome or goal.  When we know we deserve the rewards of successfully achieving a goal, we naturally pursue the goal, because we deserve the rewards.
Taking mental ownership of the reward is the first step in building confidence.  When I say, “I have a career I love, and it pays me well,” I imprint on my mind the positive higher self-worth necessary to take ownership of a great, well-paying career.  Repeated over 90 days, my subconscious mind accepts the statement as real and repeats the confident language in my mind repeatedly, habitually, until it is real.  This process builds confidence through developing language that supports forward motion and achievement.
Confidence is also built as the result of achieving goals.  We write down the WINS from the prior day each day in the workbook.  This practice puts us in the habit of winning, a habit most of us have never learned.  The workbook helps us bring forward the positive higher self-worth emotions of confidence.
This week, write down three positive self-talk goals you want to accomplish.  I want to change the language I use to describe myself, specifically as a writer.  I want to change the emotions of “I am a poor writer” to “I am a good writer.”  This is a simple change and important for me.  Perhaps your changes are around meditation, exercise, or learning.  Maybe it has to do with body image.
Be sure to write your self-talk language goals for Week 2.
I hope you find a place for this practice and develop a higher self-worth mindset.  Keep the workbook nearby to add to the daily exercises as you go through the day.
As always, feel free to reach out and ask me questions at [email protected]
Be sure to pick up my first book, The Bug in our Brain, on Amazon, Kindle, and Audible.
Finally, thank you for your support and love.
Check out this episode!

I'm so tired of constantly feeling tired, anxious and not doing anything about it.
We all were in this point of life when nothing, absolutely nothing make us happy, motivated, excited, curious. I'm 18 years old and still think that i'm nothing. I have no principles, interests and traits that would make my character stand out. Now don't say that not being special is okay. Not being stand out from crowed is okay. It's not, we all should stand out from society, become unique if we already aren't. I don't even think that i have a personality, i was always the type of girl who wouldn't argue with you, agreed with you every time, not ask too many questions, prioritizing others before myself. Now i know that this is half my fault, but mostly it's because of the environment i grew up in. They always cherished how kind i was, how i looked poor and sad when i was buying my friends something with the money i saved up instead of spending it on myself, i thought it was okay, i thought that kindness made me unique.
That kind of kindness will not help you survive in this world if you don't know your self worth and boundaries.
I thought if i just did everything he wanted me to, he wouldn't get mad, wouldn't yell at me, wouldn't make me nervous and destroy my already non-existent self-esteem.
The way i tried to get into the frames of this world is not something i wish anyone tried. This way is disgusting and harmful. Being scared and as a result not fighting to that fear is disgusting. Not stick up for yourself is more damaging then fighting for yourself and self-worth.
''Oh so the time came when i start to feel like this''
''Oh i still feel like this, it's okay it will pass, it's a puberty''
''Oh my thoughts are getting worse, i'm still young i take everything dramatically''
''Oh i think, it's okay i'm gonna be okay when i grow up, it's just an age''
I'm 18 years old - ''Oh..."
Time went and my feelings disappeared, my excitement of living faded away, my thoughts took turn in a bad way, where i never thought they would.
I always envied confident and ambitious kids, there were something i always wanted to be. Why i wasn't born like them? why was i so...weak in everything i have tried? i want to be like them.
''Will they laugh at me if i say my dreams?''
''My dreams are so unrealistic, they would think i'm not capable of achieving them''
''Maybe i will try something else, more normal and more believable of my character''.
With that mindset do you know what happened? i damaged myself again i was constantly changing my dreams to be real to people's expectations. As a result i got a very bad habit: Loosing interest very easily in everything.
''I want to become an artist''
-no one has seen my drawings before-
"i want to become a ballerina''
-They know i'm not good enough-
''I'll try becoming a writer''
-I don't have enough talent, besides my parents never would let me-
''Can i become someone?''
I never had talent in anything, nothing that would help me make a career out of it. Because of my damaged mental health, which was severe low self-esteem, no confidence, lack of concentration, intrusive thoughts that would usually led me to hurting and hating myself, i never get to decide anything by myself.
One day i asked my classmate in what major she was going for in University.
''Psychology! It's so interesting''
i don't remember that day besides those words.
What did i knew about psychology? that they treated people, helped them becoming best versions of themselves, overcoming their fears.
The reason i chose psychology wasn't to help people, or get money.
''If i become psychologist, i'm going to help myself.''
For the first time in my life i chose something for myself, i chose getting help for myself.
But that wasn't enough. I still had to fight for that way, i needed to study.
My mind got really slow when i started doing professional ballet, i was always working my body rather than mind and when they said that i didn't had a potential for becoming a ballerina, i got devastated
that was something i was doing since i was 4 years old. it was like a part of me, that everyone knew.
''Hows ballet going?''
''I'm hoping to see you in big theaters!''
''You really look like a ballerina!''
''Are you still doing ballet?''
''oh why did you stopped?''
i was so ashamed of telling the truth. I loved ballet, i really did, but i didn't realized that before i left.
Not doing ballet gave me severe depression. I was always in my room, not eating, not drinking water, always laying in bed, my room was so messy my mother was always yelling and threatening me to lock down the room. My skin got so bad from not eating and drinking water, eye bags appeared, severe acne appeared, i got skinny, my hair started falling out so much that i got bald on right side.
My mood extremely changed. I wasn't talking, always nodding, agreeing with people, not arguing with them if i was thinking the exact opposite.
''If i say something they will start yelling or upsetting. I'm going to be quiet and just agree with them''
Of course because of that my mind got lost, i couldn't think properly and it's enough to understand how i was doing in school. I knew i had to study to become that ''psychologist who would help myself''
But i was also aware of the fact that i got so...weak in everything, i couldn't memorize or understand anything. I couldn't solve simple problems. And i was so mad about myself because of that.
''I'm not good enough, i will never will be''
i had that mindset for 10 years and sometimes it still comes back.
now mostly it's
''is it possible?''
IT IS POSSIBLE. only we are capable of changing ourselves not others. IT IS POSSIBLE to change the mindset. IT IS POSSIBLE, to become the person you always looked up to.
''i don't have skill, ability, or talent for that''
YOU CAN IMPROVE IT, there's literally nothing you can't improve in yourself.
Want to draw? practice it and you will.
Want to write a book? practice it and you will.
Want to become a ballerina? PRACTICE AS HARD AS YOU CAN AND DON'T EVER LISTEN TO OTHERS.
I didn't became what i wanted because i was scared of others opinions and how they perceived me
''LEARN TO SAY FUCK YOU TO THE WORLD''
Improving yourself is the best challenge you can give to yourself, most interesting and adventurous journey. Nothing will come on a silver plate, you have to go for it yourself. you have to WORK, you have to STUDY. Don't wait for motivation, GO TO MOTIVATION, as long as you start fighting for you dreams, wishes and fighting for yourself, you will start to feel such.a.relief.
I know most of you probably lay in bed right now, while your assignments are waiting to write itself. but you won't become someone you want if you don't challenge yourself, you will never be who you want to be. And if you still have no idea what you want to become. FIND IT. START LOOKING EVERYWHERE, FIND A WAY TO SOMEHOW CHOOSE YOU WANT.
Don't let yourself be that disgusting self again. it gives you nothing good. it's harmful and unfair.
Fight for yourself and someday you will be someone's example and inspiration.
But first.
Fight only for yourself. Love firstly yourself, Cherish and admire yourself because you are the longest who's stuck with you.
You are only one, who should take a big care of YOU.

☆Stellium through the houses☆
please credit my instagram page with the same name if you repost outside of tumblr!!
I got a lot of stellium related messages, so here it is. I have a 6 planets 1st house stellium, so I have a lot to say.
☆ Stelliums are a very controversial topic, as each astrologer has their own way of interpreting it. However, essentially a stellium is a focus on a certain sign or house in a chart. Some astrologers believe that 3 or more planets makes a stellium, whilst some believe 4 or more planets. I tend to go with the 3 or more planets stellium interpretation. However, I personally do not interpret asteroids or angles (asc,dc,mc,ic) as being part of a stellium and mostly focus on planets, but it really does depend on the dynamic of each chart.
☆ A stellium is much stronger if it happens between personal planets (sun-mars) or if it's a combination of personal planets and generational planets (saturn-pluto) and if the planets are in strong conjunctions. The closer to each other and the more planets, the more focused and rare the chart is.
☆ Any planet or sign that is part of this stellium will be a significant one in this person's journey. So if someone has a 2nd house stellium involving the sun, moon and mercury - then houses in which they have leo, cancer and gemini/virgo will have a focus for them as well.
☆ If not cared for enough, a stellium can turn into an obsession of a person on that particular sign's energy or house energy. That is why, it's important to find ways in which you balance the energy of your stellium and this usually works through implementing more of the opposite house's and sign's energy into your life.
Each house ⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇
☆ 1st house stellium
A first house stellium means that there is a focus on self expression and developing this person's identity, as well as outwardly expressing their personality. These people might have strong personalities and really take pride in it, especially if the sun is involved. I find that 1st house stellium people have multiple layers to their personality. This is not to say that they are two faced, but when it comes to their identity, there is never a moment when you get bored of getting to know them as there are endless new things you can find out about them. First house stelliums embody the energy of all the planets that are found in there. The more planets, the more blend out the energy is and it might be harder to pinpoint exactly the ways in which a certain planet is coming off as. These people might have the ability to adapt to the environment they are in and portray a certain personality depending on the situation, while still appearing as their ascendant. The ascendant is the one that dictates the flavors of those energies in the house. The downside of having a first house stellium is that they can be rather individualistic to the point where they do focus way too much on themselves and live in a bubble. Also, there might be a lack of cooperation and they might find it difficult to work in a team or ask for help (not really if you have 7th house planets as well). It's always a great idea to balance with the opposite house, so spending time with your loved ones or investing in your romantic relationships or engaging in teamwork activities will help. In terms of appearance, these people are rather going to turn heads with their aura and have a sort of intriguing vibe to them. These people are straightforward and really shine whenever they are in their confidence and have so much of themselves to share with the world, they are meant to put it all out there and be appreciated for it.
☆ 2nd house stellium
Having a second house stellium means that there is a focus on the material world and possessions and depending on the sign the planets are in, you can tell a lot about what possessions actually mean for this person - this can mean that they either value money or they value spirituality and life experiences over the material. However it may be, these people have a lot of inner strength. Whenever they feel down, they do get back up and they always fight to make it on their own. There might be an issue here with wanting to keep things for themselves too much or with putting too much pressure on themselves to the point where it affects their self worth and they get insecure. They need to be careful to not rely too much on the idea that there is just one clear path for them to go on and that if they do not reach a certain status, things won't work out for them. Career is also quite important for these people, but more as a way to reach security, they are always prioritizing comfort and are quite consistent with their decisions. They might have strong values and really continuously work on their self worth. For these people, it's important to balance the energy with the 8th house, so engaging in things that have to do with shared experiences, shared finances, opening up, being vulnerable and building deep connections where they can let their guard down and relax. Also, there might be a tendency to be a bit stuck in their comfort zone and fear change, so leaning towards the 8th house and finding ways in which they can embrace change and dive deeper into the darker side of things will be really beneficial. They might own a lot of things that represent their personality - even if this means a car or a collection of stickers with spiritual meaning, they have few things that they own that have sentimental value. They are very practical and calculated people and their consistency is usually what gets them to be successful eventually and be appreciated for their integrity.
☆ 3rd house stellium
A third house stellium shows that there is an emphasis on communication or things of the mind for this person. As the 3rd house also rules the years when we are in school or our hometown, it's likely that these people either got a lot of attention in school or had some traumatic experience when they were younger, depending on the planets or signs involved. However, the purpose of a 3rd house stellium is to use their voice in order to express the things that maybe were once repressed or that they feel a deep need to talk about. These people have a lot to say and they have powerful opinions, without necessarily judging others. They can, however, get in heated arguments and sometimes get stuck into their ideas or their thoughts. 3rd house stellium people have a great eye for details and a way with words - they might be good at writing or singing or anything that involves communication, even small talk. They need to be careful not to be too keen on the details that they forget the bigger picture and should balance their 3rd house energy with the 9th house - so engage in more spiritual activities or find metaphor in their daily life and not always seek to analyze and understand the things around them, including emotions. These people can be prone to mental health issues and need to snap out of this by simply taking action. Their country of origin or their immediate and familiar surroundings will likely be an area where they will thrive and they might become well known in a very specific field or niche that they are so good at cause they are great at assimilating information and research. One of their purposes is to use their unique voice and point of view in order to speak up for those that are not able to do it themselves and so make them feel seen and understood, while they also share their potential with the world and often do that through their amazing storytelling gifts - they could even write a book or have a start-up!
☆ 4th house stellium
A fourth house stellium means that there is an emphasis on feeling secure in this life. These people might have went through an impactful childhood - either in a good way or a negative way and they usually base their decisions on the things they learned in the past. They might have a numerous family or some trouble in this area, however there is a focus on family for them. Their motivation comes from feeling safe and knowing that those around them are well. Also, they are likely to learn a lot from building a family on their own, weather this means getting married or simply owning a pet. These people are warm and caring and have this innate mother instinct that shines through. They are also quite intuitive and empathetic, however this is mostly a private area for them which they keep to themselves. The place they live in can influence their mood so much. The trouble here comes when they focus too much on being in a safe and comfortable environment or being surrounded by people they care about that they do not prioritize their growth or they tend to be a bit codependent. They need to balance the energy with the 10th house, so focus on their career and their future goals and use these really beautiful qualities they inherited from their family as an asset into putting themselves out there. Depending on the planets or sign they have here, they might not have moved a lot and when they do, it likely feels like they are out of their comfort zone, they need to build a space that encourages their growth and that's rather luxurious even. They might own a beautiful home later on in life and build their own kind of world there. These people are likely here to break family patterns that were felt for lots of generations before them and share their stories with the world or use the wisdom they gain to inspire and heal others in very profound ways.
☆ 5th house stellium
A fifth house stellium shows a person that is naturally talented or gifted. This can mean that they were basically born with a talent for drawing, singing, being really good at multiple things that enhances their personality and puts them in the spotlight. They came here to showcase these talents and they need to be careful to not to take them for granted and instead use them as a way to find meaning and pleasure in life. They can sometimes lean too much onto the idea of finding pleasure and adopt this careless attitude that focuses on prioritizing themselves before their friends - which can be both good or bad depending on the situation. These people are likely naturally good with children or they are meant to have children of their own and so keep their talents alive, they are also likely to have artists in their family or people that have, again, some really natural skill. Creativity might shine through for these people, depending on the sign and they can also be quite lucky romance wise or be natural flirts. They should be careful not to get too emerged or too obsessed with their pursuits that they forget about the world, so balancing this energy with the 11th house - with being with friends, finding a community that has the same interests as them or involving themselves in fighting for a bigger cause through their skills would help, even building an online persona. If more difficult planets are involved in this stellium, they might have difficulty with their self worth or went through some experience which made them lack the confidence they need to show their talents. Once they find that fire inside, these people are the bright stars that have a lot of admirers of their work and can be amazing leaders if they follow their passion and do not let fear lead the way, as well as really good teachers that people talk about for generations to come.
☆ 6th house stellium
A six house stellium shows someone whose focus in this lifetime is in perfecting their daily tasks in such a way that they match their future goals and get them closer to their aim. These people are action oriented perfectionists, this is why sometimes their wish to do everything in a perfect manner can stand in their way of their action-taking. It's great for these people to find balance in their life by investing in their opposing house, so engaging in spirituality, journaling, going to therapy in order to understand their subconscious mind, invest in their art, write or focus on healing their mind before their body from time to time. A six house stellium is going to be concerned with their body - the way they show up into the world, but also the way they care for their body, the things they eat, how much exercise they make, their skincare routine and how present they are with these tasks. They can sometimes get so stuck into daily things that they forget the bigger picture and they are prone to being workaholics or to burnout. It's important to take things as they come and reduce the expectations they have on themselves. Another trait of a 6th house stellium is their ability to be of service to others - depending on the sign they have in this house, they know how to be of help and really hate feeling useless, they are great at giving advice and observing the details. They are most likely to see something you are not seeing and they have a sharp mind and critical thinking. Also, having coworkers that match their values is a very important trait to them and if they cannot find that, they'd rather work alone or open their own business. As long as they do not overly engage with their daily routine and know that their discipline does not define them, that's when they can achieve the most perfectly imperfect things in life by showcasing their daily tasks that got them to the success they achieved.
☆ 7th house stellium
Having a seventh house stellium shows a lot of emphasis on relationships, socializing and discovering oneself through interactions to the other. These people are likely social, they love discovering and getting to know others and they feed on conversation. They are rational, but also extremely sensitive and can feel very deeply for those that they love, sometimes even in a psychic way. As there is a focus on the other, the problem here arrives when these people overidentify with their partner, their best friend, their family - they rely their whole being on them and they forget about their own needs and wants, they ask everyone about what they should do and they do not make decisions that are in tune with their own authenticity, they might be people pleasers during their darkest times and completely get lost in making people like them. This is why, they need to get themselves out of their comfort zone once in a while and focus on first house themes - take decisions on impulse and trust their intuition, speak up on what is bothering them and even spend time alone to self reflect or invest in some personal activity. This will help them find balance and the harmony that they are always looking for in relationships. These people could even become known for their successful love story. Their potential won't be the same without someone being there to watch them as well, so they are the perfect example of harmonized work, relationships and personal life in time, great multitaskers and storytellers too! Just need to tap into their shadow side, not be afraid to ask around and explore what they are capable of. They came into this life in order to search for people that match their values and to learn to set boundaries and say no to those that don't, they came here to inspire others and lead them with their soft skills, they came here to make others feel loved and in turn, get to know their own potential, which is huge.
☆ 8th house stellium
Having an eight house stellium shows that this person's emphasis is on things that are rather taboo, dark or private. This person is likely to be someone that does not enjoy being in the spotlight (especially if they have personal planets here), but they are amazing when it comes to behind the scenes. What this means is that these people have the ability to read and understand others in a really deep way, so much so that they do not need things explained in words, as they just feel the vibe. This is why, they would be really great in jobs that require them to use their intuition or jobs that require them to do the secret, insider type of behind-the-scenes work, no matter the industry they work in. However, they would do perfect psychologists, psychics or even undercover workers of some sort. These people are passionate and can dive really deep into the subject they are interested in an completely get immersed into that. The problem here is that stellium energy is very obsessive and 8th house energy is the same, so putting these together can get a person to become obsessed with a subject, a situation, another person even to the point where they might stalk this area or to the point where they do not care for their basic needs, such as food, just to spend time observing and investigating this subject. Another challenge for an 8th house stellium is the fact that they are able to feel so much what others are feeling makes them really sensitive and can get easily hurt if they do not separate the bad things that happen into the world from them. It's important for them to balance this energy with the 2nd house energy, so to spend time focusing on the material, on making sure they spend time showcasing their skills through work, but also searching for stability and going away from change and chaos from time to time. These people can also have a sexual energy to them and are likely always in an ongoing personal transformation, even due to the things they had to go through in the past. These people are meant to help others heal, as they are open to the dark like no one else and they have the potential to discover hidden truths, while also discovering themselves.
☆ 9th house stellium
Having a 9th house stellium means that there is a focus on wisdom, beliefs and constantly looking for meaning. These people hold a lot of inner wisdom that just seems to come out of nowhere, as if they were born with it. They are the ones that are not afraid to make mistakes and that take every experience as one to be learned from. You see these people chasing their impulses and the fire within. It's likely that they will move a lot in this lifetime or travel - these are things that help them see the world differently and fuels their wisdom. They might have a culturally diverse background or they might be interested in foreign cultures or foreign languages. If this is not them, then they are the readers, the mind travelers, the spiritualists or religious people that search for eternal questions of the mind. They usually find themselves asking how the world was created and what's wrong or what is right, what's moral and what's not and they have really well thought beliefs. The problem with a 9th house stellium comes when they need to go a bit deeper than life philosophies, when they need to not base all their decision on experience, but rather on facts or on emotions. These people might feel as if darker things in life make them want to run away, in their endless search for spirit, they might shy away from anything that involves emotion or face to face communication, as they do not like getting caught by and being stuck in details. This is why, an advice for them is to invest more time in the 3rd house - to try to listen to what people actually have to say and not what they believe in, to try to see a person besides their spiritual beliefs and music taste - but instead to look at their life struggles and their emotions. What's challenging for a 9th house stellium is to have confrontational conversations that make them feel uncomfortable. As a paradox, the 9th house is all about getting out of their comfort zone, but for them getting out of their comfort zone is staying in their immediate comfort and not trying to escape, they might be surprised how good it feels. The purpose of these people is to go forward with ideas and belief systems that have been studied and felt for generations and to ask the right questions at the right time, so much so that they change people's lives with their positive way of living.
☆ 10th house stellium
A 10th house stellium person is likely going to have an amazing work ethic and find pleasure through investing time in their career. These people are likely to achieve great success in their career and even be recognized as a public persona. The place where they most shine is the moment when they spend their time being productive, organized and working on their goals. The sign can influence the energy a lot, so you don't have to be a super organized person if you have this placement, but you likely have your own personalized way of organization that works for you. They are motivated and sometimes overly critical of themselves, as they always want to reach and do more than they can even take on honestly. This is why they push themselves beyond their limit every time and it's important to stop and asses their process and praise themselves before they move on, they often don't know how much they have done. A good way to do this is for them to focus on the opposite house energy, which is their 4th house - take time to rest, spend time with family, be lazy and allow people around them to slow them down. It's all right to be behind with schedule and it's all right to be human and not feel like a robot 24/7. The problem can come when they have some personal issue that interferes with their daily work. Usually, if they find themselves being more productive than usual, it's a sign that there is something in their personal life that they are trying to avoid by diving deep into their most safe space - work. These people could sometimes get sick because of overworking, so please listen to your body and slow down if you do not feel very good. Overall, they are the ones that help everyone else organize, but the ones that can also do the small tasks - so they would be amazing managers or most likely find success in any area they are going for, as they actually do the work, put in the effort and get so much pay off in time.
☆ 11th house stellium
An eleventh house stellium person will have their focus on matters of the future, groups of people and environments. These people are the ones that are great when it comes to coming up with innovative ideas in order to revolutionize a generation. In today's world, an 11th house stellium can be seen either vouching for a good cause at a protest or creating their own non-governmental organization or being an internet star. People that have more planets in this house are likely naturally good at technology or at least the internet or they are very skilled when it comes to some unique niche interest of their and they often lead people onto the right direction with their minds. These people are selfless and unfortunately can sometimes care too much about their environment and not enough about their own needs, so it's important for them to balance this energy with the 5th house energy and try engage into creative, artistic outlets or simply just do any activity such as going out or even watching movies just for their own pleasure - without needing to share it with anyone and without needing to make a purpose or a cause out of it. However, they do not necessarily have to be internet stars to be seen, they could even go the other route of being against social media and engaging in a very hippie, healthy way of living or simply choose a traditional route when everyone goes for the modern - anything that makes them stand out. They can also feel misunderstood sometimes because of this and alone, but finding the right community that shares the same interests as them or just the right small group of friends with the same values will do wonders. These people can also be rather controversial, as they are most likely the first ones to start a trend, a movement or be bold enough to take a chance to think and express themselves differently compared to the environment they grew up in.
☆ 12th house stellium
A 12th house stellium has their focus on the outer reality, but not necessarily a material one. These people are extremely selfless and would give a lot just to simply help someone. As the 12th house can also represent karma, these people might have had some lessons in their early life and even later on that felt karmic - it made them feel as if they did not do anything to deserve such experience and since they have been there, they have such a deep ability to be compassionate and understand where everyone is coming from. However, their past experiences made them feel small and helpless and this is the reason why they believe that making themselves small in the first place and being there for others more than their own is going to bring them good karma in return (this belief is at a subconscious level). When in reality, their ultimate purpose in this lifetime is to find themselves. Unless they stop giving their all to everyone in hopes to get something in return and actually take the matter in their own hands and fight for themselves, they will likely feel lost. These people have such artistic and intuitive souls, they absorb the energy around them and are very strong as they can endure things for long, but the real challenge is to go onto the journey of discovering themselves and find out how amazingly it feels to put yourself first and feel happy through balancing with the opposite 6th house and focus on the present moment, learn to prioritize their needs and focus on moving their body and taking the days step by step. These people came here to show us a lesson of how much you can heal the world by healing yourself - just do that and let the magic unfold.

the complete guide to astrology - revised
i. introduction
what is astrology? how can we use it to improve our lives? how do we go about studying a seemingly complex subject with such a large body of literature? in this post, i hope to give you guys a solid idea of the basics while providing resources for further reading and learning, curated by yours truly.
to start, astrology is defined as "the divination of the supposed influences of the stars and planets on human affairs and terrestrial events by their positions and aspects" (source). its primary use in modern times is as a tool of self-discovery. this is done through a natal chart, which is outlined below.
of course, astrology is used for many other things, ranging from examining relationships, to predicting the outcome of future events, to even locating lost objects. there are many branches of astrology that each have their own set of rules and methods for interpretation of the chart. i will go into more detail about some of these other branches soon. however, all astrology uses the same framework. so what is that?
***before i go further, i want to note that this guide contains a comprehensive resources section, section v, which contains a lot of helpful supplementary information such as cafeastrology's article on understanding the astrological chart wheel, a full glossary of astrological terms, and various subjects not explicitly defined or covered in-depth in this guide like retrograde planets and interceptions.***
now onto the guide! :-)
ii. the framework
perhaps the key piece of astrology is the natal chart:
Tumblr media
the natal chart is a visual representation of where the celestial bodies were at the time of birth. it seems complex at first glance, but it is possible to break it down to better understand it. in this section, i will elaborate on four components that come together to form the picture. These are the zodiac signs (inner ring), planets (around the ring), aspects (lines in the middle), and houses (numbers on the outer ring).
zodiac signs
in astrology, the zodiac signs are the most essential, core pieces of the puzzle. this is because they represent traits or energies. they are modes of expression. aries: cardinal + fire, enthusiastic, passionate, impatient, childlike, leader, hotheaded, dynamic, quick to react, competitive, impulsive, direct, outgoing, extroverted, positive. ruled by mars and the first house. taurus: fixed + earth, stubborn, patient, strong-willed, down-to-earth, hard workers, sensual, persevering, materialistic, focused, strong, realistic, enduring, habitual, hard to anger, love of nature. ruled by venus and the second house. gemini: mutable + air, chatty, social butterflies, adaptable, flexible, clever, witty, sarcastic, curious, scattered, lighthearted, changeable, multitaskers, jack-of-all-trades, smart, flighty. ruled by mercury and the third house. cancer: cardinal + water, emotional, sensitive, gentle, intuitive, motherly, moody, defensive, protective, caring, empathetic, imaginative, sentimental, passive, introverted, shy, homebody. ruled by the moon and the fourth house. leo: fixed + fire, confident, dramatic, theatrical, warm, generous, supportive, strong-willed, loyal, honest, authentic, loves pleasure, big personality, self-centered, courageous, magnetic, expressive, assertive. ruled by the sun and the fifth house. virgo: mutable + earth, methodical, serious, perfectionist, critical, practical, detail-oriented, analytical, competent, helpful, enjoys service, reserved, sensible, down-to-earth, intellectual. ruled by mercury and the sixth house. libra: cardinal + air, outgoing, friendly, agreeable, diplomatic, avoids conflict, polite, charming, refined, pacifistic, tolerant, craves connection, indecisive, romantic, artistic, hesitant, fair, good conversationalist, gossip. ruled by venus and the seventh house. scorpio: fixed + water, secretive, possessive, introverted, honest, genuine, intense, independent, lone wolf type, intuitive, analytical, persistent, passionate, ambitious, proud, committed, clever, competitive. ruled by pluto and the eighth house. sagittarius: mutable + fire, optimistic, positive, big picture thinkers, extroverted, jovial, loves adventure, blunt, straightforward, open-minded, future-oriented, faithful, independent, energetic, needs freedom. ruled by jupiter and the ninth house. capricorn: cardinal + earth, serious, disciplined, mature, takes responsibility, hard-working, thoughtful, traditional, dry sense of humor, objective, independent, ambitious, reliable, patient. ruled by saturn and the tenth house. aquarius: fixed + air, progressive, eccentric, independent, needs freedom, detached, intellectual, authentic, accepting, open-minded, non-judgemental, outgoing, determined, humanitarian, future-oriented. ruled by uranus and the eleventh house. pisces: artistic, sensitive, distant look, compassionate, empathetic, escapist, intuitive, heart over head, understanding, introspective, needs alone time, soft-spoken, emotional, imaginative, faithful, romantic, fluid, adaptable. ruled by neptune and the twelfth house.
planets
the planets give direction to the traits expressed by the zodiac signs. this direction comes in the form of facets of our personalities. personal/"inner" planets sun: ego, general personality, vitality, focus, father figure. domicile=leo / detriment=aquarius / exalted=aries / fall=libra moon: emotions, intuitions, gut reactions, instincts, needs, mother figure. domicile=cancer / detriment=capricorn / exalted=taurus / fall=scorpio mercury: communication, mental abilities, information processing. domicile=gemini or virgo / detriment=sagittarius or pisces / exalted=virgo / fall=pisces venus: romance, personal style, love style, attraction, taste. domicile=taurus or libra / detriment=scorpio or aries / exalted=pisces / fall=virgo mars: drive, motivations, anger, physical attraction, physical activity. domicile=aries/ detriment=libra/ exalted=capricorn / fall=cancer
impersonal/"outer" planets jupiter: expansion + growth, talents, opportunities, luck. domicile=sagittarius / detriment=gemini / exalted=cancer / fall=capricorn saturn: fears, where we feel repressed/restricted, where we must learn and become disciplined. domicile=capricorn/ detriment=cancer/ exalted=libra / fall=aries uranus: individuality, eccentric/uniqueness, suddenness, technology. domicile=aquarius / detriment=leo / exalted=scorpio / fall=taurus neptune: confusion, blurred lines, lack of boundaries, deception, sacrifice, dreams. domicile=pisces / detriment=virgo / exalted=cancer / fall=capricorn pluto: transformation, raw power, death, secrets. domicile=scorpio / detriment=taurus / exalted=aquarius / fall=leo
planets in their domicile or exalted sign are said to be strong, while planets in their detriment or fall sign are weak. stronger planets express themselves much more naturally. weaker planets can bring problems into the individual's life, especially if poorly aspected.
aspects
the next step is the aspects, which is the interaction between these facets of our personality and how easily we express them. positive aspects are marked green, negative are marked red. conjunction (0°): the unification of two planets that allows their energies to merge and be expressed as one. square (90°): tension between two planets that creates conflict or patterns of avoidance. opposition (180°): tension between two planets that results in conflict or patterns of projection. quincunx (150°): completely different energies that are unable to be integrated or properly managed. trine (120°): two planets that mesh well together, often manifesting as a talent or skill within the individual. sextile (60°): two planets with energy so similar they are seamlessly and effortlessly expressed together.
houses
finally, the houses represent the stage where all of this expression occurs in our external life. first (ascendant, ASC): first impressions, physical appearance, the vibe we give off, our view/philosophy of life. second: our values, sense of self-worth and confidence, money, physical possessions. third: communication style, early education, siblings, neighbors and neighborhood, thinking patterns, short trips. fourth (imum coeli, IC): home, family, the house, early life + childhood, background, roots, memories, father figure. fifth: self-expression, creativity, hobbies, interests, children, pleasure, short-term relationships. sixth: physical health, daily routine, coworkers, job, pets, service to others. seventh (descendant, DSC): marriage, spouse, long-term relationships, other people. eighth: shared resources, inheritances, death, transformation, crisis, hidden things. ninth: higher education, travel, foreign/distant places, diversity, expansion and growth. tenth (midheaven, MC): career, reputation, online persona, success, goals for the future, mother figure. eleventh: groups and organizations, the wider collective, our friend group, wishes and aspirations. twelfth: losses, grief and sorrow, subconscious or unconscious things, confusion, lack of boundaries, sacrifice.
iii. the interpretation process + notes
to interpret a natal chart, i have a specific process that i utilize. i will outline it in this section, giving notes along the way where i see fit. there are many ways of interpreting charts, however, so use this more as a guide than a hard and fast rule.
✨the process ✨
look at the chart as a whole, taking notice of: a. planets clustered together in one sign/house (note: 3+ planets in a house is called a stellium) b. planets "sitting on/"conjunct the angles (1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th) c. lone planets that are just sitting by themselves d. completely empty houses e. major aspect patterns, such as the t-square, grand trine, etc.
next, look at the sign of the ascendant and determine the chart ruler a. examine the condition of both, such as major aspects (aspects of 5° or less)
check out the sun's sign, house, and major aspects
do the same for the moon, and consider the relationship it has to the sun
next, check out the sign, house, and major aspects of the three other personal planets
look at the three other angles: the IC, DSC, and MC to determine their condition
look at the house and any major aspects to personal planets for the outer planets
find the lord of any empty houses and determine what house it sits in, as well as its condition there
finally, any asteroids or minor bodies of interest a. typically these only influence the individual if they make an aspect to the personal planets or angles, like outer planets
some other things to take into account: which element/planet/sign is dominant in the chart, where the ruler of each house sits, are there planets at 0° or 29°, degree theory, midpoints, and planets in retrograde.
iv. other chart types
so far, i've exclusively been talking about the natal chart. however, there are several chart types with other purposes ranging from examining the compatibility of two people, to predicting what might occur in the year ahead, to even answering questions. i'll give a brief run-down of some of them here:
solar return: a chart drawn for the exact moment the sun returns to the sign and degree it was at when you were born. it is said to represent what will occur in the year ahead.
synastry: this chart examines the relationship between two people by seeing how both of their charts interact with each other. it is a representation of how they affect each other.
composite: like the synastry chart, a composite looks at the relationship between two people. it does this by creating a chart of the midpoints between the placements of their charts. it is a representation of the relationship itself and what it's like.
progressed: a chart that shows how a person's personality and life circumstances change over time, calculated by adding one day to your birthday for every year of your life.
draconic: a chart that supposedly represents your "true nature," which is who you were before your life experiences. it works by setting the north node to aries and adjusting every other placement accordingly.
transit: this is simply a chart of what the sky looks like on any given day. this can be compared to a natal chart to see what influences are acting on an individual or to examine long-term trends.
these are by no means all of the chart types, or even the most important, but they are the most common ones you will see discussed here. furthermore, every chart type uses the same framework and many of the same rules in regards to interpretation, making them extremely valuable tools to have in your toolset!
v. resources
below here is a list of websites, articles, tools, etc. that are extremely helpful for learning astrology. every single resource in this list is 100% approved by me, and i have used or read through all of them myself, many of which i still refer back to now. there are also resources that go more in-depth about some of the topics mentioned in this guide, if you're confused or want to know more. feel free to take a peek!

Ways To Help Yourself Become A Better Person
New Post has been published on https://personalcoachingcenter.com/ways-to-help-yourself-become-a-better-person/
Ways To Help Yourself Become A Better Person
Improving yourself does not happen on its own. The process of self-improvement requires setting goals and putting sound advice into practice. This article will give you concrete advice that will help you achieve any goal that you want to achieve. Once you read this post, you can start on the path to success.
Inside every big job are tons of little jobs. Subdivide your personal development tasks to make them easier to tackle. This task subdivision is almost infinitely reproducible, too. If one part of a bigger job is still ominously large, subdivide it again. Good task division is good time management. You can accomplish huge goals if you nibble away at them consistently.
Learning more about personal development can steer you away from pitfalls and dead-ends on your own path to success. The copious amounts of books and other materials available on the subject are valuable resources. If they provide nothing else, they will illustrate negative examples: Dangerous practices that the committed personal development enthusiast can learn to avoid.
To achieve successful personal development, you need to do more than just set goals. You should visualize them, too. How will it feel when you achieve them? What will the experience be like? This visualization process will motivate you by making your goals seem more tangible. It is also a process you can repeat as often as needed to restore your enthusiasm.
Keep yourself away from negativity. Negativity can come through the news, movies, TV shows and people. It will bring you down and slow your personal development progress. Your goals will be much more attainable if you stay positive. Find people and do things that will help you reach your personal development goals.
This may sound cliché, but it’s the truth. You must employ positive thinking. Everyone worries and practices negative thinking. However, you must learn to notice when this is going on and practice turning those thoughts and feelings into something positive and practical. Positive thinking in any situation is a very powerful tool.
Do what you love. Most people think that going where the money is will help them reach their goals. This could not be furthest from the truth. The most successful people in the world became successful by doing what they love. Even if your personal goals are not career or money orientated, having something you are passionate about – even if it is only as a hobby – is the key to true happiness.
One of the easiest and most productive ways to boost a lagging sense of self-worth is to increase your speed as you walk. It sounds simple, but people with confidence walk with purpose and others notice it. You will create a stronger first impression, appear more confident and get from point A to point B much faster.
Low self-esteem problems are often part of a vicious cycle. We do not wish to draw attention to ourselves, so we slouch and slump our way into oblivion. Break this habit! Standing up straight and practicing good posture projects a confident image, tones muscles, and increases our sense of self-image in a way that is immediately noticeable to ourselves and to others.
To cope with depression, exercise! Walking is a great form of exercise and a brisk walk can do wonders to lift your spirits. Don’t neglect strolling! Taking a leisurely stroll after dinner each day, can help you relax and unwind. Take time to look and really see all that is around you. Seek the positive in all things.
Do not be discouraged by minor setbacks. If you have a small failure on one day, you should use that as a learning day. In the long run, one off day is probably not going to make that big of a difference. If you use that off day as an excuse to give up, however, you have truly failed.
Some people spend a lot of time praying or talking, but forget to take the time to listen. Take 20 minutes every day to reflect on your life and how you are feeling about it. Do this alone to really gain a deeper understanding of who you are inside and out.
One of the best ways to succeed at making big changes is to break it down into smaller and more manageable components. Don’t set out to run a marathon! Start out with running a mile, or a 5k. If you don’t set goals that are within easy reach, you’re bound to get frustrated by the lack of progress.
Do you feel empowered yet? The tips you just read are part of a steady diet of solid motivation and advice. If you still need additional inspiration to achieve your goals, show this article to a friend and ask him how he has applied this advice to his life.
