I quit cigs/vaping because it hurts the people I live with (my parents), but mostly because it's a fucking *expensive* addiction, not gonna lie hahaha. Let's hope I don't go back to it when I move out soon.

Smoking distracts me from eating and k1lls me faster (+), but it curbs my stamina for exercising, it is a money waste, and!!! it k1lls me slowly and painfully instead of in a swift blow (-). So, in the end, I'm better off without it.

it hurts a lot knowing that while my mother knows of my eating disorder, she doesn't try to intervene; although I am happy that she doesn't really stop it, it does kinda hurt to know that she wants me to be skinny with any means necessary, she's the one who buys me 0 cal seltzer water and packs of gum, tells me to go without eating for long periods of time, fat shames me, shames me every time we go clothing shopping, tells me not to completely finish my food among other things, she is so obsessed with me being skinny that she doesn't even care that I'm killing myself in the process
