i've been thinking of ken a lot recently and bumped into an old post of mine in the ken tag (so embarrassing ): it's been years) where i was like 'au where ken doesn't run away after his big evil reveal of the digimon kaiser being ichijouji ken and the digidestined keep hunting him down and accusing him of atrocities and he's just like haha this is very funny that they're taking a game so seriously'. it's very fun drawing ken again after so long. especially evil ken. he's so funny to me. anyway i spent way too much time on this dshgkshgk

I know I already have 2 polls going but this hit me & I'm feeling mildly annoyed, so let's do it.

Who wants to see a fic where Takeru is the leader of the 02 Chosen for whatever reason & it goes *horribly wrong*, because Takeru's personality & inability to (at that point) let go of his "rawr, all darkness is bad & must be destroyed" isn't actually suitable to a leadership position? Daisuke may or may not be among the Chosen to facilitate this. Maybe the Kaiser has something to do with it, maybe he doesn't. I haven't decided. The essence is that every time I see someone suggesting Takeru should be the leader, it's always "he has more experience in the Digital World", and seldom/never acknowledges his personal shortcomings. I'm rather tired of this, mostly because I view it as an extension of the bashing Daisuke has received since we first heard about 02. Over 20 years ago.

Also, this isn't meant to bash Takeru. He can do wonderful things. But he's not a leader & that's ok. Not everyone is. He will eventually find his own niche in this story. Once I finish putting everyone through the wringer because of bad decisions he makes while meaning the best.

I will probably have to rewatch s1 & s2 before this is written if it is. So don't expect it soon, if it gets written at all.
