• he's so soft around you in way that's different from when he's around anyone else. it's like he can let go of any stressors and really put his guard down • when you two cuddle, he presses his broad chest against your back and you can feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat :') • he's physically quite muscular due to the training work outs he does and it brings sense of security while he holds you closely • on top of that he'll reassure you that you're safe and that anything that you're stressing about is going to be okay • kaito tends to whisper in your ear a lot (and sometimes honestly mumble) while running his fingers through your hair • but most of all he loves physical touch- it's his main way of expressing how much he loves and cares for you, so cuddling is something that happens frequently • his body is really warm. it's also helped by the fact that he wraps his entire 6 foot self around you and envelops you in a blanket lol • you cannot take this man away from you (he literally kisses you all over your neck and face he's obsessed with you 😭) • despite being strong, he's very gentle and tender with you, always making sure to not handle anything too roughly without meaning to • its easy to get sleepy when he holds you because it's just so,, comfortable to be protected by him

Merawat Ingatan

Rerata manusia memiliki ingatan pertamanya pada usia tiga tahun, namun semakin berumur ingatan tersebut juga akan semakin samar. Saya sendiri tidak terlalu ingat apa yang terjadi di usia balita, hanya cerita-cerita berulang dari kerabat yang jadi gambaran masa itu. Misalnya ketika saya bayi pernah menggemparkan keluarga karena tetiba hilang setelah dimandikan dan ternyata bersembunyi di kolong tempat tidur. Kejadian tersebut membuat simbah yang waktu itu kebagian jatah menjaga saya panik hingga teriak. Di lain waktu saya berulah dengan meminta mainan sambil menangis di pasar atau tempat perbelanjaan, dan momen seperti itu bukan hanya sekali kata ibu yang menceritakannya dengan agak sebal.

Lahir dan tumbuh di lingkungan yang homogen membuat saya hampir tidak mengenal perbedaan. Semua orang seragam dengan agama Islam dan adat jawanya. Meskipun ada minoritas lain tapi jumlahnya tidak signifikan. Bukan bermaksud mendiskreditkan, namun kondisi ini sedikit banyak berpengaruh pada pemahaman saya tentang perbedaan. Meski demikian masa kecil saya tetap penuh dengan kegembiraan.

Beruntung setelah lulus Madrasah Aliyah (setingkat SMA) saya mendapat kesempatan belajar di luar daerah. Hal yang membuat pola pikir saya berubah, bertemu dengan berbagai orang, perspektif, hingga budaya baru. Layaknya remaja pada umumnya, perkenalan dengan sesuatu yang baru itu selalu menyenangkan, membuat berdebar. Lalu romantisme itu lama kelamaan memudar dihadapkan realitas kehidupan.

Melewati seperempat abad kehidupan dengan segudang pencapaian, itu yang dulu saya bayangkan. Ternyata tidak seindah di angan. Saya bukan Kento Motota yang menjadi pebulutangkis pria nomer satu dunia saat usia 25. Bukan pula Mark Zuckerberg yang punya kekayaan 1 juta USD di usia 23. Apalagi Malala Yousafzai yang mendapatkan penghargaan nobel perdamaian saat masih 17 tahun. Saya hanya mas-mas biasa yang berusaha menjalani hidup dengan semangat walau kadang malas-malasan, hari ini nonton anime besok nonton drama korea, pagi dengar musik religi malam koplo pantura.

Hidup seorang medioker seperti saya mungkin tidak banyak berpengaruh terhadap lingkungan secara luas. Namun saya tetap percaya, ada hal-hal yang bisa saya lakukan untuk setidaknya membawa kegembiraan kepada beberapa orang, karena tanpa orang-orang itu tidak mungkin saya bisa menulis di sini dengan kondisi sehat jasmani dan rohani.

Tentu saya tidak sempurna dan masih banyak ruang untuk berbenah. Tulisan ini bukan ditujukan untuk mengglorifikasi pencapaian yang jelas tidak seberapa. Catatan ini saya buat untuk diri sendiri semoga di masa depan ia mau mambacanya lagi sembari mengingat alasan ia ada di titik ini.

Yes I do! But would first like to explain something that I think is going to confuse a lot of people. See, I have two ways of ranking my favorite characters in any series I’m into, and I rank them by faves and favorites. Now you’re probably thinking “isn’t that the same thing?” well you see, there is a difference. When I mean is by if I say a certain character is a fave, I have a crush of/romantically invested in  them and when I say that a character is a favorite, they are my overall favorite character in the series. I know this sounds weird but it’s something I do in almost all of the series I’ve seen so I hope that makes some sense.

So for my faves, my current one is Kyosuke Munakata but I do love Kiyotaka Ishimaru, Mondo Owada, Nekomaru Nidai, Juzo Sakakura, Mikan Tsumiki, Kaito Motota, Gonta Gokuhara, and Rantaro Amami.

As for favorites, mine are Chihiro Fujisaki, Chiaki Nanami, Komaru Neagi, and Kaede Akamatsu. (Thank you for asking! Sorry this was so long!)
