Already in the 1960s, Mothway and Coyoteway accoridng to its Evil side were extinct. The ten Frenzy-witchcraftway singers we identified in the western Navajo reservation have all died, and there has been no one to take their places. A complete nine-night perofrmance of Mountainway has not been performed in the area for over fifteen years and soon it too may become moribund. Henderson [1982] has shown how rapidly the number of ceremonialists has delcined in the area. Today, the majority of singers know the less dangerous sings, especially Blessingway. Navajo religion will not die but will collapse in on itself. Blessingway, combined with a few songs from one of the exorcistic sings, will become the typical 'traditional' cure.

Gavurağılı Köyü’ne geldiğimizde ayran ve soğuk içecek bulma ümidimiz ortadan kayboldu. Köy terk edilmiş durumda, 1-2 pansiyon-cafe tarzı yer vardı ancak onlar da kapalıydı. Rotayı takip ederek en azından çeşme bulabildik ve öğlen molamızı verdik. Fakat yanımızda fazla yiyecek kalmamıştı, ufak tefek atıştırmalıklar, enerji barlar ve kahve ile öğünü geçiştirdik. Kitapta, çeşmeden sonra devam ederek rotayı takip etmemiz gerektiğinden ve Fakat bir süre sonra Likya yolu işaretlerini görememeye başladık Karşılaştığımız bir çobandan, Likya Yolu’nun ormanın içinden devam ettiğini öğrendik. Fakat biraz vakit kazanmak ve çok eğimli tırmanış yapmamak için araba yolundan devam ettik. Araba yolunda da Likya işaretleri devam ettiği için buranın alternatif olduğunu düşündük, telefon uygulamasından kontrol ettiğimizde de doğru rota üzerinde olduğumuzu gördük. Kiya was forced to travel as a mortal woman on horseback. While the logic was sound, she was easier to spot in midair and a viable target for demons and their ilk to capture due to her effort in the ongoing war against the Legion. She had no other choice than to bow to their requests and travel overland. Her husband insisted that she have a guard at least.

Kiyastrasza regarded the other woman with a small smile and a nod of her head. “I thank you for coming here on such short notice, my lord husband and my daughter spoke highly of you.”

While they had spoken of Mar very well, Kiya didn’t know her personally but has seen her in Hearthglen as she’s worked outside of her shop or tended the large flowerbeds she kept full of all sorts of roses.

“Did they?”, As if she was a deer Mars big ears jolted upward in suprise when she heard Kiya mention Lord Fording and their daughter. Although she had worked often in Hearthglen, especially in Winter when the ways were unpassable and living the Life of a traveling Mercenary would meant freezing to death by the wayside far away from every warm hearth, she had never interacted with the Lord or his Daugther. She had not even known that one of them knew her face, let alone the name belonging to the face that was almost always hidden under the Hood of her Gugel. “...Your families trust honours me, Milady..”, she said eventually and nod her head in a hinted bow, then she grabbed the reins of her Drafthorse Kevin and swing herself up in the saddle:

“We will leave the Plaguelands over the Mountainways in the south, Milady. They are troublesome to travel on, but free of Highwaymen.  When we reach the border to the Alterac Mountains, you will take the lead.” Mar had only been told to guide the Lady safely outside of the Plaguelands and that were all the informations she had been given, but they were enough to knew what to do for the next days they would be on the mountainways.
