someone added this image onto a post about computer mouses being hamsters now due to their lack of tail so im wondering since ur the finding sources guy, u could link me the place where this came from so i can possibly purchase it?

First, it should be established that there are hordes of mice hamsters? just like this one everywhere out there. I could find hundreds of listings, seemingly from different brands and/or manufacturers, and given things that I don't really understand—like white-labeling and whatnot—I'm not really qualified to determine much here...

But.

Based on a few listings and some promotional material, I'd say this product originated in a collaboration between the design brand Waigua (歪瓜出品 / WAIGUACHUPIN) and the computer peripheral brand Akko.

After I finished Mahou no Mako-chan, I decided I wanted to re-watch some other magical girls shows I haven't seen in awhile. Last weekend I started watching Mahoutsukai Chappy or "Chappy The Witch." I haven't seen it in 10 years and honestly, I barely remember anything about it. Chappy is more or less a ripoff updated retelling of Mahoutsukai Sally.

Chappy and her family live in the magic kingdom. During a royal banquet she decides to flee to the human world with her younger brother, Jun. Her mother, father and "pet" Don soon follow, and thus their adventures in the human world begin.

Chappy is the third majokko series Toei Animation produced, following Mahoutsukai Sally, Himitsu no Akko-chan, Mahou no Mako-chan and Sarutobi Ecchan. While Mahoutsukai Sally and Himitsu-chan no Akko were both extremely successful series, Mahou no Mako-chan and Sarutobi Ecchan were not. Mako made decent ratings but definitely never came close to Sally or Akko's success. The series also failed to keep consistent ratings, which gradually dropped throughout it's 48 episode run. Ecchan tanked in the ratings, which resulted in it ending with a mere 26 episodes. Frantic to get another winner on their hands, Toei Animation decided to make their first "original" magical girl, combining elements from their previous series. Like Sally, Chappy was a witch from another realm. Like Akko and Mako, she had a magical item. Like Ecchan, she had a "pet mascot." The end result exceeded their expectations. Apparently Chappy was only planned for 26 episodes but got extended to 39.

The first episode, "Here Comes the Magical Family," was written by Masaki Tsuji, directed by Yugo Serikawa, and featured animation direction by Shinya Takahashi. These three men previously worked on Akko, Mako, and Ecchan. The first episode does a pretty good setting the tone of the series. There is quite a lot of Disney influences sprinkled around, namely Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. In the magic kingdom, Chappy dresses very similarly to Maleficent. Her father conjures a spell to turn a mouse and pumpkin into a horse and carriage. There's a scene where Chappy's brother and their grandfather have a magical battle that's reminiscent of Flora and Merryweather fighting over Aurora's dress color, etc.

The scenes in the magic kingdom are a lot of fun. They're pretty spooky and the denizen depicted are all eccentric and otherworldly. If you look closely you can see one of the flying monkeys from The Wizard of Oz, and there's also a demonic character aptly named "Satan King." When Chappy arrives to the human city, things are not as she had hoped for, evoking the social commentary we previously saw in Mako. As with the other series, Chappy and her family must keep their true identities a secret. There's a darker twist this time, as they fear being burned at stake.

I just re-watched the first two episodes, which were both pretty fun. Some of the darker aspects took me off guard - like the paranoia about witch burnings, as well as a scene where a biker thug attempts to assault Chappy's mother. It's not a graphic scene at all but the implication is very clear.

The animation quality is a little rocky, even for an older series. This series was produced in 1972 which was around the time of the Toei Animation Lock Down, so maybe that's why? If I remember correctly, the series has a lot of ups and downs in the animation department. Some episodes look fantastic while others are downright horrendous.

Cat VS Mouse [Part 1] - Yandere Diana Cavendish x Atsuko 'Akko' Kagari

Summary: Diana Cavendish has invited Akko to her manor while her aunt and cousins are away. Akko is surprised by the invitation but decides to go. However, during dinner, Diana reveals her true intentions and Akko must fight for her life.

Broken: I read a Yandere Diana Cavendish One Shot and I wanted to try my hand at it.

[Outside Cavendish Manor]

Atsuko Kagari - known as Akko by her friends - sat on the other side of the carriage with her hands in her lap, her red eyes looked at the carriage floor as it moved down the path - getting closer to the grand manor. The thought of what happened to get her here caused her to close her eyes and think about her interaction with the one who placed her in this position.

"Akko." The voice of Diana Cavendish called from down the hall, causing Akko to turn around and lock her red eyes with Diana's blue ones; a card caught in between the fingers of the Cavendish Woman.

"Hey, Diana. What can I do for you?" Akko asked as she walked over to her with a smile on her face, Diana said nothing as she lifted the card to Akko, causing the girl to look down at the card and take it in her hands. "What's this?"

"For the duration of the break, I want you to come to Cavendish Manor as my guest. My Aunt and Cousins will be gone for the break and I shall be alone - well, not anymore because you will be there." Diana said as she turned and started walking away.

"Diana, I was going to go home to Japan for the break; I haven't seen my parents in a while and..." Akko was silenced when Diana turned and glared into the girl's red eyes, causing her to gulp and stand still.

"Atsuko Kagari, you are coming to Cavendish Manor for the break. A carriage will wait for you to pack your things in a suitcase and wait for you in front of the school. I expect to see you there before dinner time." Diana said as she turned back around and walked away, causing the girl to look down at the card in her hands and pocked before turning and walking back down the hallway to catch up with her friends.

"Lady Kagari, we have arrived." The Carriage Driver said, getting Akko out of her mind and opening the door for her; Akko grabbed her suitcase and got out of the carriage, and stood there looking upon the large structure that was Cavendish Manor. The large doors opened and Diana walked out with a smile on her face and a dangerous gleam in her eye as she looked down at the Japanese Girl.

"I'm glad you have arrived, Akko. I was concerned that you were going to miss dinner." Diana said as she watched Akko walk up the stairs.

"Sorry for being late, Diana, I had to write a letter to my parents to tell them that I was going to spend the break with a friend." Akko smiled at Diana, but she frowned and looked off to the side.

"Yes, a friend. Well, come along; dinner is almost done, and that will give you time to take a shower and get comfortable. I have a new gown for you to get dressed in." Diana said as she walked back into the house with Akko behind her, they walked up the stairs to the room where Akko was going to be staying, Diana opened the door and allowed the girl to walk inside and look around at the room with awe-struck eyes. "I'll be downstairs - please come down to the dining room after you have showered and gotten dressed." Diana closed the door behind her. Akko stared at the door for a while before she walked over to the bathroom to hop in the shower.

Unbeknownst to her, someone entered the room while she was showering. A small figure picked up Akko's clothes from the floor and retrieved her wand from the sash of her uniform. The figure then exited the room and closed the door behind them.

[A Little While Later]

Akko walked down the stairs in the light pink gown that Diana left for her on her bed barefoot due to the fact there were no slippers and the carpet was soft to her. Akko walked into the dining hall, coming face to face with Diana standing before the window, looking outside while the food was on the far side of the table and...there were only two chairs.

"I can smell you, Akko," Diana said from her location by the window as she turned to face the girl, a smile n her face and a gleam in her eyes, "And you smell delicious."

"Are you sure you aren't talking about the food? Speaking of the food, who made it? I didn't see any aids or servants." Akko said as she walked over to one of the chairs - she was about to pull her chair out when Diana flickered her wand and the chair came out, Akko sat down and the chair was returned back under the table with Akko on it.

"I sent all the cooks and servants home once the food was done and everyone was in order, they shall be back tomorrow but I wanted some time alone with you." Diana said as she walked over to her chair and sat down before gesturing to the food, "Please, enjoy as much as you want. I had it made for you."

Akko and Diana ate in silence but sometimes Akko looked up to see Diana sipping her wine and looking at Akko with her blue eyes and a smirk on her face. Akko finished her food and reached for the wine, to take a sip but it smelled rather different, and placed it back on the table.

"Is something wrong, Akko?" Diana asked.

"Um, no." Akko said as she looked at Diana who looked down at the wine before gesturing to Akko.

"Then, why haven't you touched your wine?" Diana asked.

"I just don't want to drink any - it didn't smell right." Akko said as she looked at Diana who closed her eyes and exhaled.

"It must have dissolved in time. I was hoping I wouldn't have to be so rough with you." Diana said as she exhaled and looked at Akko, "Please, just drink the wine, Akko. Make it easier on yourself."

"Easier on myself? Dissolve? What are you talking about, Diana? Did you put something in the drink?" Akko asked with wide eyes - Diana rose from her seat and Akkodid the same while backing away from Diana and the table.

"Akko. Drink the wine. I don't want to make this more difficult for you. I want it to be sweet, not sour." Diana said as she pulled out her wand from behind her back, instantly, Akko reached for her wand but it was gone. "Looking for this?" Diana asked as she lifted Akko's wand in her other hand, "Did you really think I would let you keep this when I took so long to get you here? No, Little Mouse, you are under my claws now." Diana pointed her wand at Akko and smiled at her, "Now, drink the wine or we can do this the fun way."

Akko backed away from the table and Dana when the Cavendish smiled. "Have it your way. Metamorphie Fociesse!"

A blue light shot from Diana's wand and hit Akko in the chest, causing her to turn into a mouse. Diana smirked down at her before pointing the wand to herself and repeating the spell, turning into a cat before stalking towards Akko who turned and scurried away, leaving the dining hall and turning the corner, leaving the large cat alone and laughing to herself.

"Run, little mouse, once I find you, you will be mine forever." Diana purred at the thought of Akko under her claws before running down the hall, following the scent of the mouse.

The hunt was on.

Akko: Pleease!

Diana: No.

Akko: Pretty please!! Just for few minutes!

Akko: Ugh, you're no fun.

Akko poofs back to normal and is sporting a frown.

Akko: Diana you owe you y'know

Diana: I don't recall you doing anything for me Akko, it's more of you owing me.

Akko: Uh, hello? I'm the reason you came back to finish off your studies! The least you can do is give me a ride on your broom for a few minutes!

Diana: You are correct about that Akko, but that has happened a while ago, unlike yesterday when I got you out of trouble again.

Akko: But still! Come on Diana please give me a ride!

Diana: *sigh* You're not letting this go are you?

Akko: Nope! Please just one ride!

Diana: Fine, let's make a deal, if you get a C+ in our next exam i'll give you a ride for 15 minutes, deal?

Akko beams at Diana before engulfing her in a big hug

Akkk: Deal!

The day of the exam

Diana: Are you ready Akko?

Akko: I'm ready! Anything for that broom ride!

Diana: *sigh* Of course.

Akko: Just watch me, i'll get a B+!

Diana: *Smiles* We'll see.

After the exam

Professor Finnelan: Pens down everyone, please pass your papers down, they will be given to you by the end of the day.

Akko: Hehe, I aced this exam

Sucy: What makes you so sure about that?

Akko: I study for it last night!

Sucy: You? Studying? That's something I never expected to hear from you.

Akko: Hey what's that supposed to mean!?

Sucy: Well, you don't study Akko. You're either out with Amanda causing trouble or blabbering about how Diana is pretty.

Akko: I don't do that!

Sucy raises a brow at Akko

Akko: Okay I don't do that all the time...

Sucy: Mmhmm. So what's the occasion for you studying Akko?

Akko: Glad you asked my dear Sucy! Diana said if I can get a C+ on this exam she'll give me a broom ride!

Sucy: Wow, that's a boring prize.

Akko: It's not! I'm gonna spend time with Diana and feel the wind in my face at the same time!

Sucy: Well good luck with that.

At the end of the day, Professor Finnelan gives Akko her exam with her usual sour face.

Professor Finnelan: You failed yet again Ms. Kagari, i'm very disappointed in you. If this continues to happen, you will be expelled from Luna Nova. Understood?

Akko: Yes Professor...

Professor Finnelan huffs and walks away from Akko who looke down at her exam with sadden eyes.

Akko: What's the point of studying if it doesn't do any good?

Diana: I assume that you got a terrible grade on the exam?

Akko: Eck-! O-Oh, Diana. Well uh... Yeah, I got an F again...

Akko gives Diana a sad smile which causes Diana to stiffen.

Akko: I guess I can't get that ride huh?

Diana: Y-Yes, you're correct on that.

Akko: Oh well, thanks for at least considering it

Akko waves goodbye to Diana before walking towards the dorms.

Diana: *Sigh* I have time to give you a 20 minute ride Akko.

Akko: Wait.. Really!?

Diana: Yes, I can fit you in for 20 minutes before helping out Professor Ursula organizing scrolls in the library.

Akko: Thanks Diana!

Akko engulfs Diana in another hug causing her to blush

Akko: Okay!
