At Cinderpaw’s first Gathering, Fireheart introduces her to his friend Onewhisker, from WindClan. The brown tom grins at his friend and calls over a white molly, announcing her as his apprentice Whitepaw. Whitepaw is funny and clever. She defends Brackenpaw from a ShadowClan apprentice’s jabs. Cinderpaw thinks she’s the most wonderful cat in the forest, after Fireheart. Brackenpaw reminds her that Whitepaw is from WIndClan. Cinderpaw realizes that he’s right, and in hushed tones, she and Whitepaw make plans to meet at Fourtrees before the next Gathering. And they do. Cinderpaw gets good at slipping out of camp, unnoticed. Brackenpaw covers for her when he has to, but never asks why, and Cinderpaw is thankful for her littermate and his unwavering loyalty. She thinks of this often during her time in Yellowfang’s den, leg throbbing and mood low. If she wasn’t so good at sneaking out of camp, someone would have stopped her. If Brackenpaw wasn’t so loyal, he wouldn’t keep showing up with stories about his warrior training with her mentor. She doesn’t meet with Whitepaw outside of Gatherings after that. Over the moons, Cinderpaw and Whitepaw drift apart. Cinderpelt and Whitetail keep their memories of their time together as a happy moment in childhood. Cinderpelt wonders if Whitetail thinks of her in the dark of her den, wishing things could be different. But life goes on, and Cinderpelt wishes it less and less, and by the time Leafpaw joins her in the Healer’s Den, she’s made peace with it.
And then the world ends.
The forest is destroyed, ripped apart tree by tree. Cinderpelt and Leafpaw work to keep ThunderClan afloat. She comforts Leafpaw when they can’t do enough, teaching her the lesson that Yellowfang taught her so long ago. The two of them learn and relearn it together as their Clan begins to waste away. When WindClan joins them at Sunningrocks, Whitetail looks tired. Cinderpelt offers her what she can, and Whitetail helps Cinderpelt care for their Clans. She takes all problems in stride and fights tooth and claw against the onslaught of pessimism as surely as Cinderpelt fights against the weakness that sweeps through the shared camp. They grow close once again. If Firestar wasnt’ so busy, he’d notice that they were growing too close. But he is, and he doesn’t. Cinderpelt and Whitetail whisper their love with the roar of the waterfall keeping their secret.
Newly-named Leafpool is young. She has always been dutiful and dedicated to her position, so Cinderpelt knows she is sneaking out of camp at night. Her apprentice doesn’t know how to step quietly or cover up the scent of WindClan on her fur when she slinks back into the den at dawn. Cinderpelt knows, and she understands. She’s much more cautious with her journeys to the WindClan border. She’s careful to clean Whitetail’s scent off of her before she nears ThunderClan and the garlic she’s gathered coverrs up any smell she may have missed. She gives her apprentice as much leeway as she can, giving her herbs to sort when Crowfeather’s smell hangs off of her too strongly, and letting her sleep in when she’s out later than she ought to be. Cinderpelt can see it in Leafpool’s eyes when she decides to leave. She should tell someone about her apprentice’s plan, but selfishly, she doesn’t. She wishes Leafpool all the best. She hopes that her apprentice can find enough happiness for the both of them.
When Cinderpelt is focused on delivering her nephew, her wish suddenly changes. Now she just wishes her apprentice was back. Leafpool falls to the badger as Sorreltail’s final kit is born. The brown tabby molly is small, with delicate white paws. Cinderpelt moves the kit so that Leafpool’s blood doesn’t stain her white chest. With Squirrelflight’s blessing, her youngest niece is named Leafkit, after Sorreltail’s best friend. Cinderpelt grieves her apprentice. She and Firestar spend many sleepless nights sitting quietly together. Crowfeather stays in ThunderClan, grieving with Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw. The three become a little unit, supporting each other. (When Squirrelflight’s kits are born, Crowfeather frets over them more than Brambleclaw. Lionkit is the river’s reflection of Goldenflower; Hollykit is a darker gray than Cinderpelt is, and Firestar says she looks like a littermate of his; Jaykit is Cinderpelt’s favorite, a gray tabby whose every stripe matches his father’s. Crowfeather is the perfect grumpy uncle, and Cinderpelt wishes that Leafpool was there to see them.)
As ThunderClan’s sole medicine cat, Cinderpelt needs to make sure she is focused on her Clan. She meets with Whitetail, her speech to end it all planned out. She meets her again and again and again. Whitetail’s eyes are bright and clear and Cinderpelt can never bring herself to say the words. And then Cinderpelt doesn’t think she could ever say them, because she couldn’t bear to never meet their kits. In a hollow tree during a snowstorm, she delivers her kits (two mollies and a tom, gray and white and perfect). They curl around the three kits and give them names. Cinderpelt will hold this moment in her heart until she fades from existence. When the storm finally breaks, she helps carry the kits back to WindClan. She lies to Onestar, tells him that she found Whitetail in labor on the border. She helped the WindClan molly because it was her holy duty. Whitetail introduces Mosskit, Rockkit, and Bugkit to their Clanmates. Onestar and Smoke’s youngest kit, Heatherkit, watches them with owlish eyes. Nightcloud eyes Whitetail enviously, her stomach swollen with kits soon to be born. Whitetail had kept Cinderpelt updated on the scandal of such a traditional molly claiming Queen’s Rights. Cinderpelt left her family to return to her Clan.
Whitetail can’t meet her during her time in the nursery, too tired to travel to the border. Cinderpelt spends all of her free time thinking of her kits. She’s grateful that everyone thinks of her and Whitetail as friends; Barkface is always happy to update her on the wellbeing of her family. Leafpaw is apprenticed to Crowfeather. Hollypaw joins her in the healer’s den, and Cinderpelt knows that despite her stubbornness, she isn’t cut out to heal. She isn’t surprised when Jaypaw approaches her, eager to learn. She had known early on that warrior training wouldn’t be challenging enough for him. She teaches him what she taught his aunt, and tries not to talk about Leafpool too much. Cinderpelt presents Jaypaw to the other healers and to StarClan. She is so overjoyed she can barely stand when she finally sees Leafpool again, white paws full of stars and eyes kind and gentle. Her former apprentice stands tall when she speaks, and her words carry the weight of the sky: There will be three, your windblown kin, with the power of the stars in their paws.
Rockbelly, Bugspring, and Mosstooth (left to right) are the main characters of the Windblown Three AU! Kits of Cinderpelt and Whitetail, they hold the power of the stars in their paws.
Bugspring is cheery and personable. She gets along well with everyone she comes across. She’s super strong, able to move boulders with ease. She’s also able to recover quickly from most injuries, although she’s still susceptible to sickness, and often makes that everyone’s problem.
Rockbelly is very food motivated, and enjoys making his clanmates laugh. He gets short glimpses of the future, but often only moments before it happens. He also occasionally knows information about those around him that he has no reason to know. Despite his best efforts, he doesn’t have much control over either of these abilities.
Mosstooth is clever and direct; she often comes off as rude, but thankfully Bugspring is always there to smooth things over. Mosstooth is WindClan’s best fighter, with the ability to gain the strength of the foes she defeats in battle. While the power gained doesn’t last long, she is a force to be reckoned with in any fight.
I am down to talk about this AU any time. I will also happily draw other Windblown characters if asked 👀

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, but do you have any advice or resources you could point me to about being a spoonie or having low energy and practicing divination, like tarot? I've been having a hard time lately energy-wise, and wanted to ask
Hello! I have a couple posts that you may find helpful :)
First of all, this masterpost has all of my spoonie witchcraft posts linked in it:
This post is all about divination:
This one features some divination with limited movement:
Those two are my main posts that have divination in them but I do recommend perusing the masterpost I linked above, there’s a lot of resources there and many of them have contributions from some fabulous blogs!

@crossoverdanuary Day 1: Prison
from @this-is-z-art-blog‘s phantom falls au.
Danny shifts, the costume he’s wearing itching through his shirt. He’s hot, sweatier than normal, and cannot believe that he’s doing this. He stomps around, the paw-shoes of the Abominable Snowman suit big enough that if he doesn’t pay attention to where he sets his feet, he’ll fall right into the metal bars of the cage he’s stuck in.
Why did Aunt Alicia even have a fake cage? And the costume? And dear God, why did Danny agree to this?
Dani opens the door to the main museum area. She sets his water bottle down near the shadowy corner of the cage. “Do you have to go before the tour comes in?” she whispers.
“No, I’m all set,” Danny whispers back. “Are you leaving soon?”
Dani grins wide. Right - that’s why he agreed to this. “Yeah! In just a minute. Thanks again for covering for me.”
“Just… Please learn how to drive the golf cart,” Danny replies. “You have to stop crashing the golf cart.”
Dani nods, but Danny knows she isn’t listening. They hear a bike bell from outside, and Dani perks up. “That’s Val! I’ll see you later. You’re the best, bro!” She gives him a thumbs up as she exits, and he weakly gives her a thumbs up back. She promised to bring back an entire pie from the Lunch Lady’s for him.
The door swings open again, and Aunt Alicia leads a tour group in. Danny shuffles his feet. He watches Alicia show off the other exhibits and seethes at all of the inaccuracies she’s spewing. The group is halfway around the room when he realizes Dash and Paulina are in the back of the group.
He gets even sweatier somehow, and turns to the door of the massive cage. The paw-shaped gloves make it impossible to grip the heavy door enough to open it. He frantically paws at it, desperate to make sure the other tweens don’t see him.
“And here you can see the ferocious yeti!” Alicia announced. Abominable snowman, Danny corrects silently. He turns around slowly. Dash’s eyes light up and Paulina disinterested stare turns cruel.
“It looks pretty small to me,” Paulina says, interrupting Aunt Alicia. “And so raggedy. Like a wimpy dork getting eaten by feather boa.”
“Yeah, I bet yetis aren’t even real,” Dash snickers. “Probably just some nerd in their fursuit.”
Danny was saved from further embarrassment by a tourist in the front. “Yetis are real,” he announces confidently. “This one is so wimpy because we’re too far north. It’s malnourished. Yetis live much further south than people expect.”
If Danny really was an abominable snowman, he’d be pulling his fur off. Yetis weren’t native to North America; their slightly smaller cousins the abominable snowmen were. But he couldn’t say anything because he was in a stupid costume. Shit, was Dash right? Is this a fursuit?
Alicia cut in, swiftly taking over the tour. Danny shuffled around and kicked at the floor. He’d show them. He’d get a real abominable snowman, using the Journal, and he’d show them all.

OLD GROWTH AU
An AU where the first six arcs are all shuffled around! I wanted to see how long I could keep the Clans in the Old Forest, and play around with a different order for the arcs while still keeping the core plot points and storylines intact. I had some help from @wsoupofpain , and I am super down to talk about this AU at any time!
The Broken Code
POVs: Spottedleaf and Redtail
Thistleclaw, after being killed by Rosetail for grooming Spottedpaw, is accepted into StarClan. He begins planting false signs and eventually possesses Raggedstar, encouraging the Clans to punish and exile codebreakers. The Clans must come together to defeat him.
Brokentail kills his father, Raggedstar, ousting Thistleclaw from his body. Redtail then kills Thistleclaw’s spirit after Spottedleaf utilizes death berries to bring her brother’s spirit out of his body. Redtail becomes deputy.
Culture changes to be more about working together, and encourages treating the Code as being up to interpretation.
The Prophecies Begin
POV: Firestar
Tigerclaw attempts to take over ThunderClan, and eventually the whole forest. Firestar works to stop him, stopping Brokenstar and saving WindClan in the process. Eventually, the Forest Clans must defeat BloodClan, a ruthless group from the Twolegplace.
Culture changes to be more inclusive in WindClan and ThunderClan; ShadowClan and RiverClan are reeling from their support of Tigerstar.
A Vision of Shadows
B1: POV Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw. Squirrelpaw is sent on a journey to rebuild SkyClan. Brambleclaw tags along, and they successfully re-establish SkyClan, saving Petalnose from her Twoleg. In the Forest, something seems to be wrong with ShadowClan…
B2: POV Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt. In SkyCan, the journeying cats must help the new Clan fight invading rats to ensure that SkyClan can survive. In the Forest, Tawnypelt details the worsening condition of ShadowClan under Kin rule, including its eventual dissolution. Some of the remaining ShadowClan cats take refuge in ThunderClan, but many remain with the Kin, and a few simply vanish altogether.
B3: POV Feathertail and Squirrelflight. The Clans band together to drive the Kin from ShadowClan. In the chaos, Tallstar and Deadfoot are killed, leaving WindClan leaderless. The remainder of the Kin retreat to Highstones.
B4: POV Crowfoot and Leaffall. WindClan goes through a Civil War, caused by Tallstar and Deadfoot’s deaths. Before Tallstar’s death, Deadfoot had considered retiring and Tallstar had publicly planned to make Mudclaw deputy. However, Barkface finds a sign of a single slash mark and believes it to indicate that Onewhisker has been chosen by StarClan. However, the Clan cats are unable to reach the Moonstone. The two sides clash, and StarClan smites Mudclaw to end the conflict. The Kin leave Highstones soon after, allowing Onestar to become WindClan’s leader. His first act is to isolate the Clan.
B5: POV Tawnypelt and Brambleclaw. Tawnypelt goes on a little journey to retrieve cats who fled ShadowClan during the Kin takeover, helping to re-establish the Clan. Feathertail comes with her and joins ShadowClan because they are in love. ThunderClan grapples with a yellow cough outbreak. The Clans argue internally about how much they are obligated to help their neighbors when struggling themselves. With all the Clans preoccupied with their own difficulties, the Kin easily take over RiverClan.
B6: POV Squirrelflight and Leaffall. The Clans begin planning the attack that will drive the Kin from RiverClan. Leaffall and Crowfoot leave and return; Cinderpelt dies in the battle; Onestar and Darktail fall over the side of the Gorge while fighting each other, but Onestar is grabbed by Leaffall and Crowfoot, who in turn are grabbed by their families, such that there is a huge group keeping Onestar from going over the edge. With Darktail dead, the remaining Kin members flee the territories for good.
Power of Three
POVs: Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Hollyleaf
The Three are born and Jayfeather and Lionblaze grow into their powers. Hollyleaf is revealed to not be one of the three. Hollyleaf reveals their parentage and kills Ashfur, then flees the territories.
Instead of visiting the Tribe, they visit SkyClan.
The Dark Forest begins recruiting, starting off with cats like Lionblaze and Hawkfrost who have familial connections to the Dark Forest.
The New Prophecy
POVs: Dovepaw and Ivypaw
Journey Crew: Lionblaze and Dovepaw; Heathertail; Goldenheart (Tigerheart); Stormfur and his apprentice, Rainpaw. They swing by SkyClan and Harrybrook joins them; on the return trip they go through the Tribe.
SkyClan joins the Clans on the Great Journey, and live with them at the Lake, taking their canon territory.
Dark Forest trainees are able to recruit other cats on the Great Journey, when the Clans are not in communication with StarClan or the Dark Forest. Ivypaw is the POV where we see this in action.
The Moonpool is “discovered” by Jayfeather via time travel.
The WindClan Coup is replaced by the RiverClan Succession Crisis. After Leopardstar dies, Mistyfoot takes control of RiverClan despite not being able to go and get her nine lives. She chooses Hawkfrost as her deputy. After Jayfeather discovers the Moonpool, Dovewing is sent to RiverClan to share the news. While speaking with Mothwing, she hears Hawkfrost trap Mistyfoot in a fox trap, and runs off to help. Mothwing follows, and the two of them arrive in time to save Mistyfoot, although Hawkfrost is killed by Mothwing in the struggle.
The RiverClan Succession Crisis occurs during the last book of the series; the various problems the Clans encounter while settling in are shuffled to be earlier.
Omen of the Stars
POVs: Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Dovewing, and Ivypool
Relatively unchanged other than most characters being older, and SkyClan being present at the Lake. The Clans must fight against the Dark Forest and their supporters.
Hollyleaf returns with a variety of Clan cats that left the Clans at one point or another, including some SkyClan warriors who chose to remain at the Gorge, some Kin members who want to join or rejoin their Clans, and some other rogues or loners who are interested in the Clan lifestyle. These additional numbers help to make a difference during the battle against the Dark Forest.
Culture changes to be a bit more open to outsiders, including a formal method for joining (or changing) a Clan. Collaboration between Clans is much more common.

Hello!
I've decided to get my name out there as an author by sending in short stories and such to various magazines, and I was wondering if you had any spells to encourage inspiration and creativity?
Here’s two I know of off the top of my head! Good luck!!

I love being an angry prey
Imagine a pred showing no care for—and even worse amusement about you fighting back for your life and just shoving you down; maybe slicing you up a bit with their teeth and claws. You fight and cry and scream that you’re a person and you won’t let them do this but you know as well as they do that that’s a lie. You’re angry that you’re a snack, a piece of meat; and are going to fight and kick and scratch all that you can to not go into their gut where you belong.
Then when you’re finally all curled up in place you squirm and fight as hard as you can, and yet the most you can do is make the pred chuckle or even get really horny at how you writhe. And all that anger, that fire in your heart, it slowly goes out and extinguishes as you feel your skin sting and as you digest away. Maybe it turns to fear and panic or pleading or despair, or maybe it just fades as your consciousness does. And then that’s it; you’re just pudge or muscle on the one who ate you.
Yeah, that sounds nice
