Glad they could make it happen!
~ After dinner scene in Encanto ; I don’t know if anyone ever mentionned this before on here, but one of my absolute favourite details in the movie comes after the dinner scene, when we can feel that Pepa is so overwhelmed by her emotions that the thunderstorm keeps going on INSIDE the house, even in the scenes where she’s not on screen anymore. Think about how Mirabel is just running after Bruno inside the walls, and the whole scene is getting even more dramatic and theatrical by the sounds and lights of the storm ( When Bruno’s face gets enlightened dramatically for example ) impacting the whole ambience of the moment. That’s just, such an amazing moment I can’t get over it. We just can feel Pepa everywhere in this scene.

A little detail I love is that when the triplets are babies their blankets are the color of their clothing as adults (Pepa-Yellow, Julieta-Blue, Bruno-Green)
I also love that Julieta had the same hairstyle as Mirabel when she was a little girl, and how happy Pepa looks before their ceremony
We've heard about the Elephant Foot - now how about... the Elephant Slide 🐘
Today in instances of Chernobyl HBO's outstanding attention to details (blink - and you'll miss it!): Pripyat' elephant slide.
This elephant-shaped children's slide still stands near on of the abandoned apartment buildings in Pripyat', its blue color and a distinct blanket still discernible:
Here it is before the Chernobyl catastrophe:
To my surprise, I spotted the elephant slide in the show - it is literally there for half a second during the evacuation montage. The slide even has the same blanket painted on it:
The slide was built around an already existing structure. Here is how that filming spot in Fabijoniškės actually looks:
Yet again one must admire the dedication and the maniacal attention to detail with which the Chernobyl set designers have approached their job!

Favourite quote: Thomas Sharpe: I cannot leave you here. In fact, I find myself thinking about you even at the most inopportune moments of the day. I feel as if a link exists between your heart and mine, and should that link be broken, either by distance or by time, then my heart would cease to beat and I would die.
Just thinking about this really neat detail in The Suicide Squad where Cleo (Ratcatcher 2) and Abner (Polka-dot Man) are shown averting their eyes upon viewing the Herrera family’s public execution. It already sets them apart from the rest of the group in the beginning and in such a subtle way, too, ugh, I love it!
