Brainwash

"Hold him back", said Natasia, indicating towards Mario.

"NO!", Mario cried as he was held back by koopa troopas. "Leave him alone! Take me! Just take me!"

Nastasia ignored his cries and turned to Luigi. The green plumber was being held down by two more koopa troopas, as well as the goombas who had betrayed them.

She didn't react as she leaned in and took in Luigi's pained eyes. The glimmer of tears already rolling down his cheeks.

"I'm sorry I have to do this", she said. "But the Count orders it."

Mario was beside himself. Luigi couldn't get away.

"Don't!", Mario yelled again, refusing to be quiet. "Leave him -"

"Mario!"

Mario stared. His brother swallowed, and spoke to him with a warm, wet smile.

"It's going to be ok, Mario. We'll still be together. I promise."

Mario strained himself against the koopas again as he saw Luigi's eyes beginning to turn a dull grey."

"I won't ever forget you."

And just like that Mario felt an excruciating pain in his chest. Horror washing over him as he realised what was happening. It was like something from somewhere deep inside him was responding to Luigi's pain, and was putting up a fight.

"Don't!", Mario was sobbing now. "Please!"

Nastasia's glasses flashed again, and Luigi suddenly went limp.

"He'll be fine", said Nastasia to no one in particular. "Now for the other one."

Mario didn't even have the energy to struggle anymore as he was forced down onto the floor, one koopa pinning down an arm each.

He took a moment to turn and look at his brother, who was just starting to come to, before his vision went white.

Reboot Saiko: In response to not getting the attention I deserve I have decided to cause problems on purpose.

Bob: For years, we made fun of Meggy for saying she wants a vacuum cleaner every year, but we finally got her a nice Dyson and you know what? She's walking around, vacuuming every room, muttering "this is a game changer." Say what you will, but the girl knows what she wants.

Bob: Mario and Tari would always insist "no no no, we have to get her stuff she'll actually enjoy" and this is frankly humiliating for them. She just discovered the max suction setting and she's happier than she was when she won Splatfest.

Database, internally and only internally, after ClearAll gets driven away and the God Box is created: Before anyone asks, YES, we did ruin everything with our hubris.

(I figure that even though they still hate Duck, Database does at least now understand how important his role is, and that driving him to temporarily quit and permanently go into hiding was a mistake. They'll never admit it out loud, but still)

Idea:

Mr. L decides that he needs some allies. While he technically has Vector's revolution and the Union, they only know him as Circuit, and he's just using them so he can get into Adminspace. I'm talking actual evil teammates that know who he is and can help long-term with his evil plans.

First off, he manages to recover Remake Saiko's data, which the Crew thought was destroyed after her defeat at the end of the Bichitaru Arc, and she's more than happy to work for him if it means she'll get revenge on her outdated counterpart and those idiots who don't know an upgrade when they see it.

After that it gets a little more interesting. See, during the reality fracturing chaos that SMG4k caused, all kinds of random stuff from other universes got dumped into the Mushroom Kingdom, and not all of it ended up going back where it came from afterwards, including most of a dead JC Jenson Worker Drone that the government found and took to Area 51, which Mr. L now steals so he can reverse-engineer it and use it for spare parts. Using the knowledge he gained from that, he makes both a new body for Remake Saiko and several upgrades to Brobot, including an enhanced AI and a secondary android-style module that he gives the codename "Mr. M." It of course looks like a robot Mario with a black and red color scheme. Interestingly, between the two Saiko's the one who looks more like a typical Murder Drone but Mr. M's the one with the yellow eyes(plus a single headlight where the "M" on his hat would be).

So now Mr. L has two killer robot minions. That's fun.
