Webby: Now Lena's back, she can stay in the manor with us! Right?
Scrooge: Aye, I suppose it's the least I can do.
Lena: Yeah no. Pass.
Webby: Huh?
Lena: As much as I looooooved watching as no one other than Webby tried to figure out what happened to me or how to get me back-
Scrooge: Lass, I-
Lena: And as heartwarming as it is to have my sudden return from the dead get passed over so Teatime and Carcrash can get back to LARPing Darkwing Duck-
Beakly: That, that was not my finest moment-
Lena: Great as all that is, I've got my own place to crash.
Webby: You mean the, uh, dingy basement in the old, half-submerged amphitheater?
Lean: Yeah. The abandoned vibes really go great with my tragic backstory.
Violet: A fascinating topic I am not yet fully acquainted with.
Lena: Eh. Birth, abuse, Webby, death, reincarnated by friendship.
Webby: And then happily ever after!
Lena: Sure, Pink.
Violet: Perhaps tonight you could come to dinner with my family, and regale me with the tale in full? Purely for research, of course.
Lena: Dinner as in free food?
Violet: Verily.
Lena: I am SO there.
Webby: .... that sounds nice... but..
Lena: What, not sick of me literally shadowing you for months?
Webby: I didn't even know you were there.
Lena: Webby... The book you lost two weeks ago fell in the crack between the bed and the wall. You karate chop in your sleep. There are sixty-three knives hidden in your room, not counting my dagger, which you kept under your pillow and liked to hold onto when you woke up in the middle of the night.
Webby: WOW! How did you- oh.
Lena: Uh-huh. Maybe you didn't know I was there, but I still think you really, REALLY need your own space back. As someone who's never had any before, it's kinda important to me that DO. 'Kay?
Webby: ... okay. Space.
Lena: Right.
Webby: Not, not too much though, right?
Lena: Never.
Webby: And lots of sleepovers.
Lena: Sure. Anyway, you guys'll be off on adventures half the time. No way I'm staying in the big creepy manor all on my own.
Webby: Duckworth would be there!
Lena: Being alone with someone who can pass though walls is not really a selling point for me, gotta say.
Webby: Dang it. Worth a shot.
Lena: Heh.
Violet: So we are agreed? A brief sulk at the theater, then dinner at my home and frequent visits to reassure Webbigail you not a dream and did not vanish into thin air.
Lena: Yeah sound g- hey, the heck do you mean by SULK?
Webby: You shouldn't do it for more than hour though, or else you'll get droopy!
Lena: I don't sulk! It's called thinking and- droopy!?
Violet: You did it last night whenever Webbigail briefly left the room.
Webby: I saw you though a crack in the door, once! It was cute!
Lena: WHAT
Webby: Okay, so maybe it was more than once...
Lena: WHAT???
Violet: She said she finds your moody nature adorable. Personally, I find it amusing.
Lena: She- cute-? W-wait- wh-
Violet: Case in point.
Scrooge: ...
Beakly: ... They appear to have the situation in hand.
Scrooge: Hrmm...
Beakly: I suggest we leave them be, for now, before we overhear anything that is even more-
Beakly: -oh don't you DARE just hobble off and leave me here with them, Mr. McDuck! I know where you sleep!
Scrooge: Better to be murdered in me own bed than hear any more of what your granddaughter finds charming in a lass!

Scrooge McDuck x Reader | Unspoken Games (Pt I of II)
A/N: Hi everyone! Been chaotic the past couple months, I promise to be releasing more fics on a consistent basis, I have four separate blogs, but everything is going to be condensed for easy access on my AO3 (link pending). My tumblr is more for rough writings, to get an idea on audience and such. However, this is one of my more polished fics. I hope y’all enjoy <3
Word Count: ~ 1,916
“For the last time Scrooge I am NOT your secretary!” Mrs. Beakly’s slammed her hands down on the kitchen table, all of the kitchenware rattling aggressively. Louie had to catch the pitcher of orange juice before it fell.
“Perhaps it’s time for you to finally
retir-“ Duckworth spoke arrogantly
She picked up a plate and threw it against the wall, successfully going through Duckworth and shattering to pieces. “I can’t help it you can’t multitask—“
“Put a sock in it Duckworth” she spats
“Come now twenty two there’s no need to get—“ Scrooge gestures nonchalantly
“I have someone coming to your office at noon for you to interview to be your new secretary. I am too busy keeping this house together as is, this is the least you can do for me or so help me scrooge I will take all 235 PAID vacation days off starting right now” she glares at him
“You wouldn’t” he points a finger
“Try me” she crosses her arms
“Fine…. LAUNCHPAD” he shouts
“Mr.McD Sir!” Launchpad appears in a salute stance, “Ready the car.” He says exasperatedly, slowly pushing his chair back with a loud screech.
Huey, Dewey, Louie and Webby get up following after him. “Can we come too?!” Webby asks excitedly
He looks back at Mrs Beakly who is staring at him tapping her foot impatiently. “…fine.” He mutters ushering them all out the door.
——————————————-
Unimpressed with the interior of the place you push the elevator button and climb in, gum popping in your mouth as the doors shut. Paying no mind to the two kids on the other side of said elevator, or so they thought.
Webby and Dewey were having a conversation with their eyes, yet physically hitting each other back and forth in disagreement.
Entering the main hall you spot a kid in a green hoodie attempting to get a Pep. “Hey kid, where’s Scrooge’s office?”
“Why should I tell y—“
Swiftly you reach into your pockets, “I’ll give you twenty dollars” before waving the money in his face.
“Down the hall to the left” he shrugs taking the money. “He’s in a meeting right now though” he offers up more information carelessly
“Hm. Thanks Louie” you wave already walking off in the direction of his office.
“Wait how did—“
“Oh that’s definitely Scrooge’s new secretary” Dewey and Webby say at the same time, having followed you out of the elevator quietly.
You knock on his office door quietly, staring at the little packets of mail shoved into a metal file container hanging just left of the door. You glance at your watch before deciding to pick it up and bring it with you inside, taking care to sift through it. “Hm. Death threat, Death threat, a bill, Death threat, invitation?”
The little red one opened the door, “Ah Huey, good timing. Where’s McDuck?” you ask stepping into his office, looking around.
“He’s—“
“Right here.” the man of the hour comes out of the bin and locking the safe swiftly behind him. “ Huey run along dear” You smile at Huey softly. His mouth was hung open in awe at your beauty, “Wow—“
“Here take everyone with you, Go get an icecream or something yeah? 20$ should cover it right?” You hand him the bill, without a second thought, before turning around to face Scrooge.
The door behind you clicked opened and you could hear Huey crash into the wall before managing to slip out of the room.
“Met my nephews have you?” he said, with a thick scottish accent, as he rounded the side of his desk to sit.
“Not formally, no.” you shrug taking a seat across from him, seemingly very relaxed.
“Ms—“
“Y/n, just y/n” you extend your hand across the desk, “a pleasure”.
“Whats a lass like you doing here, trying to work for me?” he asks examining you intensely.
“Mrs. B cashed in a favour, to say the least” you shrug tossing your hair back.
“ah so she hand picked ya did she?”
“mm something of the sort. I didn’t really have much elsewhere to go anyways, and from the sound of it, she was quite desperate for a break” you adjust your position in your seat.
“Yes so i’ve heard” he pouts, “Well my schedule is quite unpredictable. I have zero set dates and everything changes constantly.”
You shrug, “I’m sure you’ll find I’m quite capable” you say plucking a stray feather from your arm.
“And your qualified too, I take it…?” he asks curiously
“Overqualified actually. Some would also say I’m the best at games.” you lean back, having successfully manipulated yourself into the chance of a pay raise.
His eyes widen with interest, “Your hubris will be your downfall”
“State your terms McDuck” you lean forward in anticipation.
“You can pick any game, if I win you have to take a 75% pay cut”
“If I win,” you grin “you’ll double my wages”
“Clever girl, deal” he extends his hand out to you, which you excitedly shake on.
“I don’t suppose you play Go?”
“I do actually”
“Good.” you stand sliding your long coat off your body to reveal a decent sized back pack. Pulling out the whole set with ease.
“Ready? Go!”
—————————————-
Hours and hours had passed and you both were now just walking through the doors of the manor, the kids already having returned home hours ago. “You’re quite the opponent”
“finally met your match aye scrooge?” you wink at him. He rolls his eyes laughing quietly as he adjusts his tie. “Perhaps lass, but don’t let it go to your head” he teases.
“Finally, we were beginning to worry Scrooge” Mrs. Beakly rolls her eyes gently pushing them to the kitchen. “At least you’re on time for dinner, hello y/n”
“Hello Mrs. B, thank you for inviting me” you bow to her
“always a pleasure dear”
You slide off your coat and your bag by the door, carefully removing your shoes as well. Following Scrooge into the kitchen, “Wow dinner looks amazing” you say sitting to the left of him.
It wasn’t anything grand, just an average pasta dish, but to you it looked like it could be from a Michelin star restaurant.
“I should probably have introduced myself instead of ominously saying your names. Though I’m sure you’ve figured it out by now. I’m y/n.” you smile at the kids and Duckworth the ghost butler, prying your hungry eyes away from the feast before you.
“Ms Y/n have you ever been on an adventure?”
“Y/n how did you know all of our names and how to tell us apart?!”
“Where did you get all this money from?!”
“Are you single?”
Everyone pauses at Huey’s question, and stare at him shocked, to which you awkwardly clear your throat.
“Um, yes I have been on several adventures, I can tell you guys apart quite easily actually mostly by hairstyles and outfits, I earned it by selling my inventions, and i am unsure why that is relavent but yes I am single?” you rattle off sequentially, your eyes crinkling shut in joy at their shared interest in your personal life.
Duckworth threw a butterknife towards you like a dart, your eyes snap open and you move your head calmly to the left, raising your eyebrow as the knife embeds itself into the wall behind you. “What a peculiar greeting Duckworth.” You look over at him with amusement twinkling in your eye. “Hm.. Good reflexes Ms. y/n, most impressive for a newbie.”
“Mr. McD, Little ones, Y/n, Mrs. B, Duckworth, Donald” Launchpad nods and sits next to Mrs Beakly.
“Did ya get lost Launchpad?” you grin and he laughs, “Yes I did!”
The evening faded out into a dull murmur from the kitchen, the family felt almost whole.
——————————————-
It had been weeks since you settled in, and your friendship with Scrooge was beginning to blur into the lines of a relationship.
“You are extremely off schedule—“ You pull the giant drapes aside, letting the light fill the room. “darling wake up” You say tugging the covers off of scrooge’s body. “What did you just call me?” he whines sitting up, “Old man?”
“No no, you said ‘darling’”
“Did I?”
“You did.”
“No I didn’t”
“didn’t you?”
“You hit your head or somethin?” you say grabbing his head, snapping your fingers in front of his eyes.
“No, you totally said—“ you try to make him count how many fingers you’re holding up but he smacks your hand out of the way. “For goodness sakes y/n you definitely—“
You put your hand up to his head and sigh, “You’re running a fever”
“What? Scrooge McDuck does NOT get sick”
“Hm, maybe not but you definitely need to rest and relax” you head to the bathroom and begin to get his clothes gathered.
“Honestly scrooge you might as well give me a ring, im like your wife with how much I do for you without pay”, you roll your eyes.
“You’d enjoy that wouldn’t you lass?” he jests halfheartedly as he coughs, stepping into the room.
“Maybe a little bit” You laugh, as you begin to draw him a bath. “Would help me get more money”
“you’re the one that agreed to the pay cut wager on day one” he shrugs looking down as the water slowly fills the tub.
“Aye. A deals a deal” you nod double checking the temperature.
“honestly y/n I’m fine” he whines
You stand up and circle him like a shark, “You’re positive?”
“Completely….” he pouts
“Nope nope, you can hear it clear as day in your throat you’re sick”
“Y/n I have important business—“
“I can take care of it”
“What? Nonsense-”
“Look, nothing too important. The vultures are just looking for a chat, and I’m quite persuasive so I’m sure I can get them to let ya continue doing as you please with the money you earn.” You internally cringe considering how much money he takes from other regions of the world without a penny going to those natives. Capitalistic greedy bastard.
“You’re my star employee, y’know that y/n?”
“Oh please don’t let Duckworth hear you say that” you grin. “Clean clothes, take it easy, relax. I’m going to go make some soup.”
“You could just have Twenty-Two do it—“
“Absolutely not, she put me in charge of all things related to you, that woman needs a break and a raise” you wave him off with your hand whilst walking away.
———————————————————
Is this house ever quiet? You sigh avoiding Webby’s carefully placed traps, and the boys running around shouting. When Huey trips into you, you happened to catch him in one hand, and keep the soup steady in the other.
“Easy red, Webby put a trap in that corridor” you warn with a wink. “Y-Y/n—“ he says in awe
“Jeez kid you make me feel like im a god or something” you tease “don’t be so tense around me okay? I’m friendly I swear “ you laugh
“are you and uncle scrooge?” he trails off
“Hm..Ask me in a week, I think I’m winning so far but we’ll see” you ruffle his hair and replace his hat on his head, leaving him utterly confused.
“Okay, so can we all agree scrooge and y/n are clearly attracted to eachother” Webby says dropping down from the ceiling.
You hear Huey’s scream echo in the corridor and shake your head in amusement.

Agent Duck AU stuff
more about Donald's Agent Duck persona and other things:
Agent D was valuable agent, the best of the best and worked up the ranks faster than anyone else. but also caused fowls downfall by using the power of deduction and pointing out contradictions. Agent D is chill and ruthless he will show no mercy to the adults, but with the kids its a different story.
Agent D tried to get Della to fight her best. He may be the enemy but he has standards when fighting and wants to fight clean as possible. Plays dirty when needed or to be a little bastard. he did it to see if Della can protect her family as test. He has honor when fighting (but not when in super angry mode of course cause he’s just going ape shit) Before the fight with Della he actually brought a second sword to give to her so they could be equal footing. Donald plays fair when fighting unlike other fowl agents. With Scrooge he did both playing unfair by throwing wine bottles to mess with Scrooge and give him a good fight. mostly to troll scrooge.
Webby's parents were agents one for shush and the other for the agency. and were both on fowl's radar due to knowing too much and being related to agent 22 and were killed in an act of fowl play. Webby was taken by Black Heron and Beakly later took her back. Webby's mom a shush agent and Webby's dad a agency agent. Black Heron took Webby to use her as a weapon. Donald was friends with Webby's parents, Webby was recent hatched when her parents were killed. Donald did mention to Webby he knew her parents, but never went into specific details. the only people that know about how Webby's parents actually died is Donald and Mrs. B and fowl of course.
Donald will be snarky towards Heron all the time. Black Heron never trusted Agent D as a legit fowl agent because of his past. and she calls him by his agency name out of spite.  Steelbeak also didn't trust Agent D, Steelbeak didn't trust him since he did take down his old branch. while with Rockerduck and Agent D they have meet before in the past when Donald was in the agency (this is based on the doubleduck btw) and also the few times Donald worked for Rockerduck (also based on the comics) so they have history. while with Agent Dee and Agent Duck they trust each other. both Agent D's work together to take down fowl. I also made Ludwig Donald's uncle in my au like in some media. Ludwig is Donald's uncle through marrying Matilda. Phantom Blot and Agent Duck, Donald has fought him before as Paperinik and as himself. even tho the other agents hated Agent Duck he became the most trusted in Bradford's eyes. with Don Karnarge and Agent Duck, they somewhat knew each other because of adventures and through Della and Dewey.
the clones post fowl names were given by the kids: Jurakan’s new name Aku was given by Huey, Yocahu’s new name Paolino was given by Louie. Amphitrite’s new name Donna was given by Dewey, Doris new name Dottie was given by Webby.

Wanted to give some ways Donald Duck/Ducktales characters are called in my language! :D (feel free to rb with your own languages if you want)
Donald is just Donald
Daisy: Katrien. it's the Dutch version of Catheryn
Huey, Dewey and Louie: kwik, kwek and kwak. Which is the sound ducks make
Scrooge: dagobert (also his last name is just Duck and not McDuck). Why? Idk actually. All I could find was "it's based on German."
Beagle boys: zware jongens. It means heavy boys but I think it's supposed to be like bad boys.
Flintheart Glomgold: Govert Goudglans. Govert is just an old Dutch name but Goudglans means golden glow!
Mrs Beakly: Baktaart. So uhm her name means bake cake 💀
Webby Vanderquack: Webby/Lizzie van der Kwaak. So first of, the reason I did /Lizzie is because Lizzie is her name in the og Ducktales! The reboot decided to go for the English name tho. Names with "Vander..." often have Dutch or German origins, but van and der are 2 seperate words so it's spaced out. And kwaak for another sound ducks make. Her last name means "of the quack"
Fethry: Diederik. It's just another (kinda old) Dutch name
Gladstone Gander: Guus Geluk. Guus is a Dutch name, and geluk means luck. It's not actually an origin reason they purposfully went for but I like how Guus kinda sounds like goose. Cause it feels like his name is based on the English phrase lucky goose lol
Launchpad McQuack: Turbo McKwek. Pretty straightforward
Gyro Gearloose: Willie Wortel. Hear me out. Willie is kinda like Will/William, and worten means carrot. His name is William Carrot.
Those are all the ones I'm gonna do rn but lemme know if anyone wants to know specific ones! (Except for Della and Magika bc their names are the same)

Danny Phantom Ducktales Crossover Part 3
The next time Scrooge saw the youngsters, their parents were trying to sneak into his Manor.
He quickly called Duckworth to his office and warned him to steer clear. Lena wasn't supposed to visit today, so the pesky ghost gutters wouldn't be anything Beakly couldn't handle. She had been informed of their intentions and would no doubt expel them more quickly than she would normal intruders. That went to show how much she liked Lena and tolerated Duckworth, since intruder removal was already remarkably efficient.
Lena hadn't planned on visiting Webby today, but Violet had a Woodchuck thing and Lena knew from past experience that if she was left alone for too long things tended to get… dangerous. So Webby was getting a surprise girl's day. She was going to love it. The way her best friend’s eyes lit up when she saw Lena, never failed to brighten even the teen’s darker moods.
She took one look at the people in front of her first home and pulled out her phone. Two adults were creeping up the tall hill toward McDuck Manor, having somehow gotten past the gates. Duckworth usually took care of people if they started to trample through the gardens. Brutally.
She kept her expression casual as she texted Mrs Beakly and walked over to the two teens who waited as far from their parents as possible. The boy was close to her age, maybe just fourteen. The older girl was shaking her head and constantly looking around them.
"We are going to be so arrested." She muttered anxiously.
"Nah. First time offenders are fed to the shark." Lena said casually. The boy almost smiled, even as his sister jumped in surprise.
"Any shark that could successfully eat all of my dad would immediately die."
"Your dad is absurdly tall. What is he, seven and half feet tall?"
"Two feet of that is fudge. That's what'd kill the shark. Diabetes." Lena hummed in amusement and said,
"Magic shark. I like your style though. What's your name kid?"
"Danny, and I bet I'm older than you."
"I doubt it. I'm fourteen. Almost fifteen."
"Ha. I turn fifteen this weekend."
"I'm Jazz, the only member of this family that has never willingly tried to break and enter." Lena hummed.
“Future president?”
“Not with a criminal record I won’t be.” She was such a Huey.
“People try to sneak in here all the time. I used to sneak in here all the time. Only a few have actually been arrested.”
“That’s…good? Oh! You must be Lena!” Jazz’s eyes lit up. “I’ve heard so much about you! I was actually wondering if you had a minute to talk-” Lena felt all her walls slam right back up. People didn’t want to talk to her. Not about anything good. Not unless they were family.
“Don’t tell me you came all the way here just to talk to me?” Because you’d be lying.
Her eyes were hard and her posture defensive.
Jazz felt the already vibrating anxiety in her chest, exasperated by her parents breaking the law and breaking into someone’s house, someone Jazz needed on her side, starting to match the tempo of a hummingbird’s heartbeat. Desperate, utterly desperate, she tried to explain. To pull Lena back out of the box she saw Danny close himself into all the time.
“No! It’s not like that! Our parents are ghost hunters and they have wanted to come out here since the portal opened. We just got dragged along-” Lena scowled.
Seriously?
Ghost hunters?
Duckworth was in that house. She was in that house. Sure, Lena was more than happy to wreck any supernatural threat to her family, but some of those supernatural threats were her family!
“Yeah you’re definitely going to want to get out of here. Beakley will not go easy.”
The ginger girl looked ready to protest or…cry? But her brother shook his head.
“Leave it Jazz. It’s not worth it. It won’t change anything anyway.”
A familiar accent rang down the slope and Lena felt herself relax. When had she started to think of Bentena Beakley as someone who’d keep her safe?
“You will leave this property immediately! Should you return, and I strongly advise you against returning, you will be thrown into prison without hesitation. Mr. McDuck has elected to ignore my advice that you already be dealt with so severely.” The adults, who honestly looked more like pouting, sulking, kids, were followed closely by a red-faced housekeeper.
“But this whole place radiates paranormal energy! You could all be in very serious danger!”
“And this would be the perfect chance to try out the Fenton Spector Shredder!”
“We are well equipped to handle danger and we already have a shredder. I’ll thank you to leave quietly before Mr. McDuck is given the ‘perfect chance’ to try out any number of security traps.”
In all the time Lena had been alive, so like, a year, she had never seen the housekeeper falter. But when she saw Lena, she faltered. It was easily missed, a footstep out of cadence, a shadow of worry hiding in her eyes. Beakley was… scared for her?
“Lena, what are you doing here? You’re supposed to be with the Saberwings today.” The fear wasn’t quite well enough hidden and Danny and Jazz’s mother whipped out a scanner of some sort. No sooner did Lena see it than a red light started blinking and two voices shouted in tandem,
“Ghost!” Just as the hunter’s reached for their weapons- (how had Beakley not taken their weapons?) -and Beakley reached to break their bones- (maybe she was just having a bad day and was looking for an excuse to break some bones) -a head of bright orange hair blocked her from view. Their daughter stood in the line of fire and they still didn't lower their guns.
Danny started talking quickly, eyes darting to her occasionally with concern and something like hope?
“You said this whole place registers as ghostly. Lena lives here, so it makes sense that she registers too, right?” They were protecting her. The ghost hunter’s kids… were protecting her. From their family. But maybe they weren’t family. Maybe it was like her and Aunt- like her and Magica.
You must be Lena
I’ve heard so much about you
I was actually wondering if you had a minute to talk-
We just got dragged along-
The only member of our family who has never willingly tried to break and enter-
-never willingly-
“That’s a wonderful observation Danny. Why can’t you apply yourself like this to your school work?” His mother’s praise and reprimand reminded Lena so much of the things Magica used to say. She felt sick.
The excuse he’d given for her, it carried the same desperate denial that Lenas' always had, when Magica confronted her about Webby. Her mouth was dry and her stomach was churning.
Danny sounded pained when he responded.
“Just, not as fun as ghost hunting, I guess.” Lena’s heart pounded in her chest.
“He’s a chip off the old block! Come on, son, I’ll show you how the shredder works!” Jazz quickly interjected,
“Wouldn’t it be best to do that in a controlled environment? Where there are no external factors like dust or sudden weather changes or, I don’t know, police officers?” She smiled tightly. Their Dad lit up.
“Good thinking Jazzy! I know just the place! To the Fenton-mobile!” Jack bounded toward the gate, dragging Jazz behind him like an excited, reckless kid with an old toy.
Maddy put her hands on her hip and frowned at Danny.
“I know what you were trying to do just now young man.” She started walking to the gate and Danny followed and Beakley followed and Lena followed, although she couldn’t figure out why she would want to see anymore of this flaming, familiar, trainwreck.
Danny missed a beat.
“You do?” Beakley reached for something at her waste subtly. Lena was right next to her, practically pushed into her side, and she still couldn’t tell what the weapon might be. Maybe it was invisible. Weirder things had happened. Like Lena letting Beakley walk so close to her. Like Beakley choosing to walk so close to her. Both of them liked their own space.
No personal bubbles, ghost hunters, strangers standing up for her, trauma that she hadn’t had to deal with in a record month coming back to haunt her….Yeah. Weird day.
“You might be able to distract your father with ghost hunting but we will be discussing your school work later.”
“Right, of course.” Danny’s relief changed to muffled annoyance. “Of course.” They reached the main gates, still warped from Launchpad’s last crash. So that’s how they got in.
Jazz was shifting nervously from foot to foot.
“Hi. Sorry about, all of this. I hope, I mean I’d like, could we start over?” Lena could feel Beakley bristling, but that was just because she didn’t know yet. She didn’t see what Lena could see.
The almost fifteen year old offered a half-hearted, mock solute and said,
“Madam president. I look forward to your candidacy. I’m gonna have to vote against you if my best friend’s brother runs at the same time, though.” If she could vote. And was in the country. And paid attention to boring political stuff like that.
Despite Lena’s lackadaisical attitude, or maybe because of it, Jazz looked relieved.
“Naturally. I’d vote for my brother too.” Danny’s tired expression twisted into disgust.
“Ew, no. If I ever run for public office, assume I’ve been overshadowed, cloned, or replaced by a shape-shifting alien.” Lena snorted but noted his terminology. Overshadowed. Maybe it was a ghost hunter’s kid thing, but that wasn’t a word most people knew.
She gently probed the waters as Jazz started to climb into the mobile home and Maddy offered Beakley a curt good-bye.
“Yeah, getting possessed is the worst.” Her mouth tasted like tar how could a shadow taste like anything- oh yeah it was because Magica wasn’t actually a shadow she was a shadow and she had been all along-
Danny’s eyes widened. He checked to see if his parents were listening before he breathed,
“Yeah. It really, really is.”
“I’d never do that to somebody. Ya know. If I could.” Danny ducked his head.
“If that was something I could do, I might have. If I didn’t know what I was doing or what it felt like or was desperate.”
He couldn’t raise his head. He had found another Halfa and they were going to hate him. He was so good at that. “But I think, if I had, I’d hate myself for it.”
“I’d forgive you.” Lena’s response was automatic. She hadn’t even really thought it through. But in the face of his stunned expression, Lena realized that, yes. She wouldn’t be able to be angry at Danny for anything he’d done in the past. It was like looking in a mirror. Only this time, no trace of Magica was anywhere in sight.
Maddy stalked back over to Danny and said,
“Let’s go. It’s clear that we’re not welcome here.”
“Okay, sure. I was just telling Lena about Inviso-bill. I thought she might have heard about him since he was on some local Amity park blogs and, ya know, the internet gets things all over the place.”
Maddy’s eyes brightened, a sickening similarity to the way her daughter’s eyes lit up. She hadn’t caught the message.
Look up Amity park’s Inviso-bill.
“Oh? That’s wonderful Danny! The more people who know about the danger ghosts pose to the public the better.” How could he live like this? Lena folded her arms and shifted her weight.
“Yeah, I’m vaguely interested. What ghost calls themselves Inviso-bill, though?” Danny blushed furiously.
“Nobody knows that that’s his name!”
“That’s true.” Maddy added, eager to educate the poor Ignorant living part time under Scrooge McDuck’s roof. “There is a lot of information about him that can’t be trusted. Some people in Amity think he’s a hero, if you can believe that.” She laughed and it was like nails on a chalkboard. She tipped her head back the same way as- The goggles over her eyes made them look red just like-
“Okay Mom, we should really head out.”
“Here’s our business card, just call the second number if you have any questions or see anything here that might be specter related.” Maddy handed over the card but made the mistake of putting her hand on Lena’s shoulder.
Most days, Lena was fine. She was surrounded by her friends, her family, and the phantom weight of slim fingers made of darkness faded into the recesses of her mind. Most days, reminders of Magica were few and far between and when they did show up they were dealt with because now Lena knew that bottling it up wouldn’t help any. Now Lena knew she could lean on people sometimes without them shying away and leaving her to fall. Today was no longer one of those days.
She jerked away from the touch and turned around and walked as quickly as she could without running back through the gates and up the hill. Beakley was shouting below her. Then, purposefully heavy footsteps followed a respectful distance behind her.
Eventually, Lena stopped, just shy of the main house.
“I’m fine.” She insisted, voice carefully light but not all together steady. “I am. Just, they’re just memories.” She gripped her friendship bracelets and repeated. “I’m fine.”
“I know.”
The accented voice was soft and coming from her height. She turned around and hugged Beakley, who was on her knees, ready to catch her.
Lena cried and sputtered,
“This is, this is just because I promised Webby, that I’d hug you someday. That’s all!”
“I made a similar promise about a week after she met you.”
“She’s the best.”
“She is.”
After a moment, or a minute or five or ten, who knew? Lena pulled away and swiped at her eyes.
“He’s like me.” She sniffed.
“I gathered as much.”
“Of course you did.” Lena folded her arms and hated how much like a hug it was. She should be past needing hugs. Right? “We won’t just, we’re going to help him, right?”
“Of course we are.” Beakley confirmed. Lena nodded, but sensed some reservation in the former super spy’s tone.
“We’re going to save him, right?” There was a moment of hesitation before her answer.
“Of course we are.” Lena nodded and finished heading into the house. She waved off Duckworth's aloof but worried glances and Scrooge’s fury and awkward attempts at comfort. She just wanted to be alone until Webby got home. She didn’t want to ask anymore questions that would result in promises that everything would be okay for Danny. That nothing would stop them from saving him from his so called family, even risk to their own. She didn’t want them to have to say any of that.
Because they’d be lying.

We just finished DuckTales so I would like to ask my sibling about his final thoughts. This will be similarly formatted as before. Also spoilers because we finished.
Tumblr media
Did you like the twist?- Yes!! I love that Webby is actually part of the family now!! I always love found family and I understand that some people might think that it takes away that aspect but I think that it kind of is still found family in a way because they all still found each other and got a family dynamic before the whole Webby-Is-scrooges-daughter thing
Tumblr media
Characters
Scrooge: I love this man. He is just amazing. He is just amazing and I never get bored of his stories of the past and when he goes on adventures he is also just a good father figure in general and always has something to teach the kids.
Donald: This man single handedly raised 3 mischievous ducklings while dealing with everything that happened with his sister on his own and then becomes a dad to May and June. He is one of the best dad characters and will always make me smile. He is also just funny and his temper is hilarious. But if I ever hear him with a normal voice again I will stab someone
Della: Soooo she is super cool space mom. Even though she only started raising the triplets way after they were born she still tries so hard to be the best mom and I love how hard she tried to get home to her kids. She is just so dedicated to her family and her children. She would do anything for her kids and would protect them with her life and I love her for being such a good mom
Huey: I really like Huey a lot. At first I kind of found him a little annoying how smart he was which now I love! I love when he just gets angry and snaps and it's just funny to watch him go insane every once in awhile.
Dewy: I relate to do Dewy the most which I really shouldn't because he's supposed to be like dumb but I still do like One he's the middle child like me and two and just think I'm most like him if lots of ways. Season 1 was really good because I just liked how passionate he was about finding his mom.
Louie: Louie I find to the most interesting one of the Triplets. Like season 2 was my favorite season because of Louie and his mission to become the richest duck in the world. I honesty just want to give him a hug a lot of the time.
Webby: I love Webby so much she is just so strong and I just also love how she is basically the 4th one. She is just a ball of joy and I would kill people for her. She deserves all the love and she has her family and friends who love and care for her and I'm just a sucker for it.
Mrs. Beakly: She is an amazing Grandma and how she puts up with all the kids plus Scrooge on a daily basis is beyond me. I just love how she took in Webby as her own even though they weren't actually related was just so sweet. I know she would do anything to protect Webby and probably the rest of the family.
Lanchpad: Mmmmm I smell himbo. I love Lanchpad so so so so so much. Honestly the amount of times I have wondered how he passed his flying test or even his driving test is beyond me. I just care about this duck and always have. He will never fail to put a smile on my face.
Duckworth: Mmmmm I just love how he acts with Mrs. Beakly and the rivalry thing that they got going on.
Penny: I didnt think Id like her as much as I do. When we first met her I just thought she was gonna just be in that one episode when we met her and that was it but I was happy it wasn't like that. I love how she has to learn to live on earth and I also love that she refers to Huey, Dewy, Louie and Webby as little Dellas (also I don't think that she knows that Webby isn't Dellas kid) and one more thing, Penny there is something you need to hear *plays Girls by girl in red* you're welcome :)
Lena: I care about Lena with all my heart. I just love how much she cares for Violet and Webby. She has been through a lot and deserves all the love. I think she's just cool and I also think her magic is amazing! I also really really really like the anime girl thing she got going on it's hella cool.
Violet: This is where I must apologize to Violet. When I first talked about her I really didn't like her but now I love her so much and I love how she and her dads took in Lena. I love just how smart she is and she's just an amazing character. Also bonus points for having 2 dads
Gladstone: When I first met Gladstone I kind of thought he was annoying but after we got to know him a bit more I find him really funny and kind of intriguing to watch and I just find it interesting how lucky he is like man can really find $20 anywhere he walks and just shrugs it off because it's just completely normal. Like I freaked out if I find like a quarter on the ground I be thinking I'm rich and here we have Gladstone, finding $20 wherever he walks. Also kind of off topic but comic Gladstone is so sad and I wish to hug him
Fethry: I really really wanted him to have more episodes like he only got 1????? HE NEEDS MORE. I fell in love with this krill loving duck and he only got ONE episode dedicated to him??? WHY
Daisy: Daisy is so amazing and we all have to give some credit, she went from just a fashion designer to having to deal with weird Greek gods, monsters, Donalds temper, literally adopting 2 kids and more. She has got to be one of the most mentally and physically strong characters in this show. She is the only modern day Daisy I will expect and there is no other ones. Nope. (3 caballeros Daisy who?)
Goldie O'gilt: I love Goldie most of my favorite episodes have her in it! I love how she leads scrooge on and is also just a great adventurer. Every time she is brought up or in an episode I know it's going to be great.
Panchito: This man is part of the reason my best friend thinks I'm a furry BUT ANYWAY I love him and this is one of those times when I wonder if I want to date him or be him. And I should not be saying that because... He's a chicken. But lets ignore the fact that I'm a gay trans disaster and get back to what I'm saying about him. He is funny but I wish we could of seen him more he also just has an amazing voice and I love everything about him. Once again I wanted him to have more screen time because I could never get bored of him
José: AHH OK so I want to play his umbrella and I want to just be around him. He seems like he could just be the best friend to anyone and I love that he's always with panchito and I just want the best for this parrot. Also I just like his feathers like a lot idk just do
Fenton: This is the other reason my best friend thinks I'm a furry (well along with the bad guys movie but that's not important rn) Anyway he is my favorite character! I love gizmo duck and I always get so happy when he comes on screen. He is just a ball of happiness and joy that never get bored of. He is just the perfect duck on earth and I will say that till the day I die. He is just *chefs kiss*
Gyro: Mmm Gyro my lovely probably gay trans chicken. I love that he's a salty bitch all the time and how he has a soft spot for his children (Boyd and lil bulb) and the other characters. He is the smartest chicken and I will always be happy to see him in a episode
Manny: ah yes Manny the man horse. He still confuses me every time I see him. How did he get like this? Why did he get like this? Why does Gyro have him? But I still like him a lot. Idk why but yeah
Boyd: BOYD I LOVE BOYD. He is so sweet and funny as well!!! And I just love how he was just adopted by Gyro. I love everything about him and he's just so CUTE I love himmmmm.
Darkwing/Drake: I will always have a soft spot for DW even if this is a different version of him. He basically was all I watched on long car rides to my grandparents house or driving to school and can quote like at least 1/4 of the episodes. As for this version I also really really like him! A Lot!!
Gosalyn: I love the fact that she's aged up and you can see how much she cared for her grandpa and how much it has affected her and how much she wants him back. The only complaint I have about her is her new design, I think she should have kept her old purple no. 1 Jersey bc I think I showed her personality better. I think the plain jacket is to...well plain just something a bit brighter would be better in my opinion
Gandra: I like Gandra, she's a good character BUT I'm not super happy with her and Fenton's relationship. I think I'd be more fine with it if we got to know her better and actually got to know her more, like one episode she's trying to kill the kids and the next time we see she's just kissing Fenton. I wish we got more of her from going working for mark Beaks and FOWL then to dating Fenton. I think I would of liked her more if we got to know her more out side of the villains.
May and June: I really like them and honestly I wouldn't be mad if they got a spin-off show with Donald and Daisy and their adventures or something or even like a little mini short so we can see how they're doing, I didn't think I was going to like them as much as I do because I just saw them as these clones that were going to mess everything up for webby and I'm happy that wasn't the case in the end!
Doofus Drake: I really really don't like him. He didn't treat Boyd well. He's a privileged little snot who I hate with a burning passion. He seams like one of the kids who would call you slur on voice chat games. He's also just...creepy
Ma Beagle: she's a good and funny villain. I always like episodes with her bc I know that she and her kids will make me laugh.
Beagle Boys: Basically the same as ma. I like just the vibes and how they seem so scary and strong until there with Ma
Magica De Spell: I love when shows make a really hateable villain and give them an actual good reason to be evil. For her it was her brother and what scrooge did to him and herself.
Flintheart Glomgold: so this might be an unpopular opinion I don't know but I don't like him at all. Not even as a villain. I mean yeah he can be kind of funny but honestly I just think he's annoying. Really really annoying. Like I don't really like any episodes with him. I have no idea why he's just not my thing. The only times I liked him were the glomtails intro (not the episode just the intro) and when he forgets who he is.
Mark Beaks: When we first met him I think my head went to was, "who the hell is this bish" he's like if all those obnoxiously loud gamers from YouTube became a bird that was a millionaire. He makes a really good character to shit on bc there is like nothing to like about and he's funny. He's is annoying and will make just want to punch him but in a way that I like. Unlike Glomgold tho cuz I actually like watching his episodes
Don Karnage: SKY PIRATE also who just tries to kill a child??? For basically no reason??? I like him tho he's funny and even though he's not in the show much his burning hatred of a child is beautiful
John D. Rockerduck: I'm like really scared of him for some reason?? Like man's is a walking corpse. Sorry I take that back. He can't even walk unless he has his weird ass Frankenbaby monster. Even though he becomes young again he still scares me way more that a cartoon duck should
Phantom Blot: I really like this thing he has going on with pepper like he is this scary thing that can steal magic and is big on strong but the moment he works with pepper he melts and would do anything to make sure she's safe
Pepper: honestly love her and should be treated better in my opinion. I love the little romance thing she has going on, sweat and demented/monster is one of my favorite ship dynamics.
Steelbeak: Ok so as a character and bad guy I guess he's fine. I just wish he weren't so dumb. Like I mean he's a super villain and shit but like come ONN they did this man so dirty. Look I just remember him from Darkwing Duck and he was smart. I know that he got hit with the smart ray thing but that was in the last episodes. But besides that he can be funny and I love that his beak is sharper than it was in Darkwing Duck
Black Heron: I don't really have to much to say about her besides the fact that I like her inventions a lot and her weird friendship thing she has going on with Bradford. Also I think that she was made really smart to make Steelbeak look dumber which I don't really appreciate.
Bradford Buzzard: I love the running gag thing he has going on where he constantly says he's not a villain and not evil even though he definitely is, and black heron is just like "you sure about that???" Then at the end he's finally like "okay fine I'm a villain"
Tumblr media
Favorite Episodes: S3 Ep11 The forbidden fountain of the foreverglades:I like this one bc of the Goldie and scrooge stuff, we get to see them working together and being all sweet and young! I love at the end Goldie FINALLY kisses Scrooge.
S2 Ep4 The Town Where everyone was nice: Well I like this one for many reasons, it had my favorite joke in it, it had scrooge acting like a stereotypical old man, it introduced José and Panchito, and it had my FAVORITE screen shot out of the entire show (webby shoving all the food in her mouth)
Tumblr media
S2 Ep7 What ever happened to Della duck: This was the first time we really got to meet Della and what her personality was. You get to see what she's been doing for 11 years trying really hard to get back to her kids and also just trying to survive. You get to see for the first time how strong she is
Favorite Joke: The ducks feeding ducks or being told Donald dropped an egg and Huey and Louie silently decide it was Dewy
Favorite Character(s): Fenton, Panchito, Goldie and Lena
Ships: Fenton/Gryo, Goldie/Scrooge, Panchito/José, Daisy/Donald, DW/LP, Penny/Della, Pepper/Phantom blot
Friendships: Webby&Lena&Violet, Dewy&Webby, Boyd&Huey, Louie&Goldie, Fenton&Huey, Lil bulb&Gryo&Boyd, Dewy&LP
Times cried or nearly did: Bitch I don't know it's to many to count like at least 5 at this point
Tumblr media
Final thoughts: at first I thought oh this will be a fun little show to watch during the summer and then it turned more into one of my favorite things it was always really fun to watch all the episodes and I had a fun time writing all my thoughts down about the characters! I would 100% recommend watching the show. It might seem a bit weird because they're ducks but honestly it's really good.

could I please see a one shot of Mrs. Beakley being a mother figure to Donald and Della (as children and adults)?
I've never really seen DT17 Beakley as...motherly...exactly. And in my AU she's not around until they're more...late teens early twenties. But...here we go...
"What are you doing?"
Donald fell over with a yelp, bandages wrapping around his legs as he accidentally kicks the open peroxide bottle into the bathroom sink..
Beakley took this all in stride, including the bruises and on his arms and chest that he'd been trying to clean.
While he was on the tile, no doubt swearing angrily under his breath, she caught the bottle in the sink before it could empty too much of its contents. "Would you like some assistance?"
The newly turned 19 year old glared up at her. "No thank you." He ground out looking tired.
Scrooge had told Bentina that Donald didn't get along with many people but he hadn't said anything about getting bullied.
No matter. She'd help clean him up and then help him clean up if he needed it. Even if she would only be able to scare whatever hooligans were responsible for this.
Donald sighed as he gave up fighting against the white bandages restraining him. Of all the people to catch him patching himself up after a patrol, Beakley wasn't the worst. Hopefully the old spy would just think he was clumsy or something like that.
A knock interrupted their peace. "Hey Beakly!?" Della yelled through the door. "Have you seen my scarf?!"
"Here," Large but gentle hands loosened his constraints. "It'll be easier of someone else does this for you."
He was too tired to argue. So he let the new housekeeper gentle clean and bandage his injuries as he sat slumped on the edge of the tub.
"Have you looked in the laundry hamper?!" Bentina yelled back.
"No." They could hear her retreating footsteps as she ran down the hall.
Beakley finished up wrapping his knuckles. "There, now..." She stood. "I believe some rest is in order."
Donald rolled his eyes but didn't say anything. He was pretty sure they both knew he wasn't going to "rest".
Rushing footsteps could be heard in the hall. "I found it!" Della yelled. "Thanks Beakley!"
"You're welcome!" Della was gone before she finished.
Bentina shook her head, looked back at Donald one last time, sighed and quietly left the bathroom.
Donald slowly stood and headed for his room.
"Don't think I won't be checking on you young man." Bentina called out behind him making him jump.
He couldn't decide if it was nice ro have someone care, or annoying that he'd have to be more careful about hiding his injuries.

ooooh i wrote a thing, aaah here it is. weblena. au. slice of life, humor, slight angst, thought exercise, what-if, same rating as show
There are no Terrafermians in the subway.
(not that that'll stop them)
The tunnel doesn’t collapse. Beakley never fidgets with her glasses, adjusting them like a TV antennae as if that would change the image of Lena, quintessential sullen teen, helpfully applying a crowbar to the train cars’ stuck pin.
This just before the train crash.
Before the unconsciousness, the feeling of being dragged across a rough stone floor.
Before Beakly wakes up to see Lena’s wide, terrified eyes, and feel hands yank her out from under the falling train car not a second too soon.
"You-?" "Yeah- me. Let's go."
There’s no moment of tearful reuniting with Webby, the boys, and Launchpad. No anxious voice in the dark, Lena’s voice, checking in-
"Everyone here, everyone okay-?"
There are no Terrafermians in the subway.
There is no moment of Beakley inviting Webby's new friend over for pancakes.
Instead, there's only a slow trudge up out of the tunnels, and the grim look on Beakley’s face as she marches them all back onto the street.
-
“Granny-”
"No."
"Granny, just listen!"
Webby starts again, journal of theories forgotten in her hands, grip so tight the binding squeaks in protest.
“You don’t understand! Lena’s a good person- she just LOOKS like a mysterious, enticing, rebellious teen ne’er-do-well with a love of trespassing and vandalism! Which she is, actually."
Webby admits with a thoughtful head tilt.
"And she does. Do that. She did it just a second ago, to prank Huey with me, and it was really funny!" Beakley's scowl deeps and Webby hurries on. "But she's also-!”
“First the Beagle Boys birthday,” Beakley mutters, steering Webby on with a firm hand. “You insisted that was an accident and that she never intended to put you in harm’s way.”
“She didn’t! She-”
“And I was almost willing to believe it. Almost."
Beakley storms down the sidewalk, sensible low heels clacking on the pavement with a sound so sharp it should've been sending up sparks.
"After all, what teen hasn’t done something immensely foolish to impress someone else, only to regret it afterwards? Likewise, lying about the ‘educational’ Mole Monster film. Mostly harmless, if irritatingly irresponsible. But this.”
The hand on Webby’s shoulder tightens.
“This goes too far. She knew entering that tunnel could put all three of you in danger. There were warning signs everywhere, and yet she led you down there regardless! No, I'm sorry." Beakely shakes her head, glowering behind her square framed glasses. "That girl does NOT have your best interests at heart.”
Currently Webby’s heart is pounding in her chest. “I’ve been in worse danger before! Much, much worse!”
“Only with myself or Mr. McDuck supervising you.”
“I had Lena with me!”
Beakley snorts. “Oh yes, how reassuring. I’m sure she would have done everything in her power to keep you safe, and not run off to save her own skin. Again.”
At that the boys trailing behind them finally speak up.
“I mean to be fair, it was us she wanted to feed to the Tumblebums that one time, not Webby.”
“Yeah, her and Webby were supposed to slip off together while we got traumatized. Then my dear brothers decided to use me as bait instead, which, I feel, is obviously worse-"
“She just wanted to stop us arguing!”
Huey’s feet patter as he hurries to catch up.
“It’s my fault too, for getting all worked up and angry over some made up subterranean monsters- that’s why she got the idea of going down there in the first place! She was trying to help!”
“By putting you all in danger, as opposed to debating the issue safely above ground, obviously.” Beakley remarks dryly.
“And and AND!” Webby jumps in craning to peer pleadingly up at her grandmother. “We could’ve said no! She wasn’t going to force us down there or anything!”
“Well.” Huey hedges, hunching down, awkwardly honest. “She did throw my guidebook down the stairs…”
Webby stamps on his insole. Huey yelps.
Ducking out from under the protective hand of her grandmother Webby turns to face Beakley, forcing them all to a stop.
“Granny, please.”
Somewhere nearby there’s the sound of four people knocking into each other and tumbling to the sidewalk.
Webby ignores it. Taking a deep breath she says, softly. “...She’s my best friend.”
Bentina Beakley looks down at her, posture tired, eyes sad.
She sighs.
“… no, Webbigail. Not anymore.”
And the whole world falls out from under Webby’s feet.
“Yes she- yes she is!” Stammering, Webby tries to hear herself over the thundering in her chest. “She is and nothing you say is going to change that! Right Lena!?”
No one answers.
Webby looks around. “Lena?”
Launchpad, Huey, Louie, and Dewy stare back at her from under a nearby street lamp. The shadows around them are empty. No one else is there.
Lena is gone.
“Good riddance,” Beakley says, her hand settling back on Webby’s shoulder. “You are not to see her again, even if she does reappear, understand? You four are all good children with bright futures ahead of you-”
“Five, missus B.”
Beakley rolls her eyes. “Yes alright Launchpad, you five. The last sort of friend any of you need is someone like that.”
Weak-kneed, the weight of her Granny’s hand makes Webby sag.
Someone like that. Someone like that…
The words echo the rest of the way to the car and all through the long, silent drive back home.
It continues as they trudge through the double doors of McDuck manor, as Beakely hesitates on the landing outside the library and Webby's room, as Webby walks past her to brush her beak and heads back to the loft, quietly shutting the trap door behind her.
Webby doesn't sleep.
Later, long after her Granny has given up on patrols for the night, a climbing rope dangles its way down from Webby’s window.
Webby has somewhere to be.
Tonight, she has something more important to think about than her Granny’s rules.
Rushed tracks lead down the sandy beach towards a set of stepping stones, and a derelict, empty stage....
-
This time Webby leaps the stones with a single long jump.
"Lena, are you here?!"
Frantic, she doesn’t even bother with a summersault as she thumps down on the moldering floorboards, eyes darting hopefully at every shadow.
“Lena? Lena!”
The cavernous stands make her already loud voice even louder. Webby waits one breathless moment, then rushes on.
“Please be here, please be here, I don’t know where else to look for you if you’re not here!”
Blurring across the stage Webby yanks back the tattered curtain and races behind the leaning and broken stone columns, checking every corner, chanting all the while.
“And also please please don’t be mad! I’m sorry I didn’t say more to my Granny, and sooner, and better. But most of all please be here! Please?”
There’s no one behind the curtain or columns. No sounds answer her, except her own panicked voice.
Slowly, Webby comes to a stop at the edge of the stage.
“…Lena?”
'Lena?' echoes back the amphitheater, hollow and abandoned.
She stands there a long time. Listening. But just like on the playground, and just like on the street that night, the dark corners of the world stay empty.
And Lena doesn’t answer.
Knees wobble. Webby sits down hard on the old theater floorboards.
“Oh.” Pulling her legs up to her chest she tucks her bill against them, eyes filling as she starts rocking herself slowly back and forth, back and forth. “Okay. Okay. You’re not here right now. That’s okay.”
Lena doesn’t answer.
Webby shudders. “No. It’s not okay.” The tears spills over. “It’s not okay. It’s not okay.”
She blinks hard, still staring out into the stands.
“You- you didn’t even wait to hear me tell Granny she’s wrong about you.”
A whimper.
“We didn’t even get, to say goodbye…”
Burying her head in her knees, Webby wraps her arms around her head and squeezes tight, shuddering.
And behind her, a trap door opens.
The hinges of the mechanism make no sound, well-kept and carefully oiled into silence, and the figure that trudges up the steps also moves with practiced sneakiness, even with her arms full of ropes and bent-over pieces of rusty old piping.
Lena stops on the last step, bright green converse pausing mid-air, expression surprised.
Then she frowns.
“Uh, Pink? You okay?”
Vehemently Webby shakes her head without looking up.
“Okay? No! I’m n-not okay! Granny thinks my best friend is a ‘bad influence’, banned you from the manor, and won’t let me out unsupervised anymore! And and and-”
Her breath catches with a sob on every ‘and’.
“I never got your address or phone number or had time to surveil you, or plant a tracker, so the only place I know you like is the place we met- but you’re not here! And now,” she chokes, “now Granny says I'm not supposed to see you again and worse I don't know how to find you so I’m REALLY never going to see you again….”
Lena’s eyebrows skyrocket into her side-brushed bangs, then drop down like dark and moody thunderbolts.
“Are you kidding me?” she groans, “Ugh, what is with her!”
Slumping over, Lena dumps her armful of supplies and drops herself next to Webby on the stage, shoulders falling into a brooding slouch.
“I mean, I get that Tea Time doesn’t like me, but I didn’t think she’d try putting you on lockdown over it.”
Fabric rustles as Webby nods into her skirt. “I know. She’s a- a little overprotective.”
“A little?” Lena seethes.
Webby giggles. “Maybe a lot.” Sitting up with a sniff she scrubs her eyes on her sleeve. “She means well and I don’t want to break rules, it just hurts so much, and I miss you and… Wait, Lena!?”
Beak dropping open Webby whirls around, gaping.
Lena smiles back at her.
“Hey.”
And in an instant, Webby’s eyes are full of tears again.
“Lena!”
Launching herself forward Webby has Lena wrapped in her arms a split second before the tackle sends them slamming to the floor.
An ‘oof’ of air burst from Lena, thanks to the hug or the impact or both. Face half covered with Webby’s hair she grimaces up at the night sky.
“Wow great, missed you too.” It comes out as a wheeze. Having the air knocked out of you is a good excuse for being breathless. “Th-thing is, I’m really not much of a hugger…”
“Oh!”
Jolting upright Webby holds her arms out wide, as if they were dangerous weapons that could kill with a touch. Which they were.
“Right! Hugs are like whatever, or whatever- But you’re here!”
Pulling her arms in Webby hugged herself tightly and did a happy little wiggle as Lena sits up again.
“Even though it’s the middle of the night, you’re here! Were you waiting this whole time? Is that rope? And a crowbar!?” Every observation brought on a new level of excitement and new intensity of the wiggles.
Lena grins. “Yep. It’s rope and nah, I haven’t been here the whole time, had to go get some stuff. Like rope. Aaand a crowbar. Then I figured, hey, this sort of thing is way easier when it’s dark out anyway, you know?”
Jumping to her feet Webby pumps her fist in the air triumphantly.
“Yes! No! I have no idea what you’re talking about! What thing?”
Leaning an elbow on one knee Lena props her cheek on her fist and watches Webby, grin softening.
“Like, climbing over big fancy gates and up mansion walls to see my best friend, and stuff.”
Webby gasps. “You were going to break into the manor for me?”
“Well, try anyway.” Oversized, off-shoulder sweater slips a little further down as Lena shrugs. “Parkouring up walls isn’t really my thing, not everyone’s an amazing awesome acrobat like you, Pink, but eh. Girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.”
“Oh.”
Webby bites her bill, happy look fading into something hesitant.
“…to see your friend?” she echoes back cautiously.
Lena raises an eyebrow. “Uh yeah, duh? What, you thought I was just gonna-” a finger snap and a vague flutter of Lena’s free hand indicates the deepening gloom of night. “Ka-pwsh out of there and be bored without you for the rest of my life?”
Webby winces. “I guess? A little?” Her hand burrow into her skirt, grip crinkling the neatly ironed pleats.
“I thought… I thought you were angry at me. For not standing up to Granny better, about you.”
Both Lena’s eyebrows shoot up this time. “She’s your grandma, Webby, what’re you gonna do? Send her to time-out?”
Webby smiles weakly. “Heh.”
“I’m pissed at her, not you. And.” Leaning in, Lena makes a show of hiding her beak from non-existent observers in the empty stands. “To be honest she’s not even wrong. I’m a VERY bad influence.”
Hands relaxing, Webby smile comes back with a twinkling in her eyes.
“No you’re not. You look all cool and smooth on the outside, but you’re all soft and gooey on the inside. You’re the best.”
Lena snickers, lounging to her feet. “Sure, and you broke rules just to come looking for me. I’m sure Colonel Crumpet wouldn’t blame that on bad influence at all.” She holds up a hand, palm out. “Who’s the rebel now?
Webby high-fives her with a laugh and doesn’t let go.
“Me! I’m a rebel now!” Gleeful laugh turns into a nervous giggle as she swings her and Lena’s hands between them. “Oh Granny’s going to be SO MAD when she finds out….”
“Who’s gonna tell her?”
“Also me, probably. Or maybe my empty bed, if I’m not home in the morning.”
“Orrr…”
Lifting their linked hands Lena leads Webby in a little giggling twirl before letting go with a flourish.
“You could be back in snug in bed before she even knows you were gone.” Bending down she started sorting through the pile of ropes and break-in implements. “Only after having some fun first, of course. How long until she notices you’re missing?”
“Hmm.” Webby hums, absentmindedly rubbing the hand that had been holding Lena’s. “Her next security sweep should be in approximately two-and-a-half hours.”
Lena looks up, pausing her search with a flat stare. “Security sweep? Seriously?
It’s Webby’s turn to shrug. “My Granny really likes a secure perimeter!”
“I guess I can dig that...” Muttering, Lena leans back down and pulls a couple of small cannisters from the jumble. “I can also think of at least three adventures we can have before you’ve gotta head back.”
Webby perks up so quickly her hairbow seems to snap to attention. “Adventures?”
Lena tosses her a cannister with a grin. “You up for it? I’ll even walk you home after.”
The sound that escapes Webby would have shattered the stage lights, if they hadn’t already all been smashed.
“YES! Yes to adventure!”
Bouncing up and down on her heels she makes a move as if to pounce on Lena again, then checks herself and clasps her hands together around the cannister instead.
“With my best friend!”
She pauses and blinks down at the thing in her hands.
“An adventure in… painting?”
“You got it.”
Tossing her own spray paint can from hand to hand Lena leads the way to a second set of stepping stones, these ones heading off the stage and into the stands.
“Okay so for this first adventure we’re gonna need to ditch the rope and get some water balloons. And paint. More paint. Like, a lot more paint. I’m thinking something in pink, maybe a day-glow... You cool with messing around with the Beagle Boys some more, right?”
Webby skips after her, almost floating on every step. “Totally! We only ALMOST died last time, after all!”
Lena snickers. “Yeeaah it sounds bad when you say it like that.”
“Bad as in good?” Webby askes, coming alongside her.
“Bad as in awesome.” Lena agrees, clinking their cans together in a toast.
“Aha!” Webby cheers as they set off into the patchwork shadows of the city night together. “I knew it! Oh hey you know what these spray cans remind me of this time Granny let me test out bear spray on a real bear, for practice, just to be safe, before dropping me off on the survive or die island for holiday, but- you know that phrase ‘kicking the can down the road’? It comes from this game kids play together and I’ve never had anyone to play it with but it sounds fun and anyway, the bear, right! Well back then I remembered that thing about the can kicking game too! And I got so excited I dropped the can and kicked the bear…”
The night deepens as Webby’s fills the air. Lena watches her, quiet and smiling, as the shadow lengthen around them.
One shadow, trailing reluctantly at Lena’s heels, pulls itself up a wall and twists itself into a new shape. The sharp figure of woman appears, with a short bob of ‘hair’ and a disgusted scowl.
Blegh...
The shadow hisses, soundless as the darkness.
If playing along with this pink little wretch doesn’t get us into Scroogie’s manor soon, I am going to be SICK.
Lena’s shoulders twitch.
It’ll be worth it. She thinks back at the shadow as it coils in behind her, insubstantial and somehow still breathing down her neck. So just shut up for a sec and let me focus.
Shut up?
An accusatory hiss rasps in her ear, discordant against the backdrop of Webby infodumping about the origins of pepper spray.
Are you telling me to shut up? ME?
Lena flinches.
The shadow dances at her back, it’s whisper turning ice-cold, smooth and scornful.
Poor little dumb-dumb Lena, so desperate that you're actually enjoying this, aren’t you...?
No, Lena think back quickly, wrenching her eyes away from Webby’s beaming smile and back to the street ahead of them. I’m not. I’m really, really not.
Hmm….
If Webby had looked up right then, instead of being busy reading out the ingredients listed on the spray paint can and listing all the ways they could be easily weaponized, if she had looked up, she might have seen Lena’s smile slip at the corners.
She might also have noticed an exhausted slump in the teen’s shoulders, or realized she’d seen a similar sad, guilty look in her Granny’s eyes only a few hours beforehand.
Or maybe not.
Lena hadn’t chosen to live under an abandoned theater for no reason, after all. She was very good at lying.
Especially to herself.

WEIRDLY SPECIFIC BUT HELPFUL CHARACTER BUILDING QUESTIONS \ @eusyram \ Accepting!
12. What is something that makes them laugh every single time? Be specific!
Tumblr media
Donald without fail will always laugh with those laugh tracks during sitcoms, even if he doesn’t really understand what the joke was. He’ll also enjoys really horrible jokes, like the dad joke kind of jokes. He just can’t help himself, it’s so corny but it’s hilarious.
20. Who do they like as a person but hate their work.? Vice versa, whose work do they like but don’t like the person?
Tumblr media
I think they like Gyro well enough and Mrs. Beakly, but I don’t think he likes Gyro’s inventions as they constantly go evil, and isn’t a fan of spy work (lies and secrets and all that). But otherwise they’re both apart of the family as far as he’s concerned and he’d do anything for them.
I’m pretty sure he would have a Mark Beaks phone and other tech, but after the family’s many bad experiences with the guy, I can’t imagine he’d like him very much. People who are super flashy and over the top just don’t mesh well with Donald (call him a bit old fashioned if you will)
30. When they make a mistake and feel bad, does the guilt differ when it’s personal versus when it’s professional?
Tumblr media
Oh, there would be a huge difference. Donald cares extremely about people and their well being, and to make a mistake with someone who he cares about would tear him up. He would do just about anything to make up for it, occasionally even going too far.
But professionally at least, he is self aware enough of his… unluckiness to know that he is probably going to mess something up at some point. He’ll try his best to mitigate the damage as much as possible (if any) and make it up to his bosses or co-workers as best he can.
It’s very hard for him to find people to give him the patience he needs through these things, hence why he is so close to his family and why he can’t keep a job to save his life.

Welcome to the Chibiverse…
Tumblr media
The Chibiverse is Disney’s new series that repackages their Youtube Chibi Tales shorts. So the meat of this series is showing all their Chibi Tales shorts, some you may have missed for one reason or another and some I think brand new. So basically like how House of Mouse was a repackaging of Mickey Mouse Works. And like House of Mouse, the bread of this series is actually seeing the characters introduce these shorts while having their own tale to tell.
Tumblr media
For the first episode, the Ghost and Molly McGee’s Molly and Scratch teams up with Big City Green’s Cricket and Tilly. While Molly and Tilly are hosting the show (and totally connecting well together), Scratch and Cricket are arguing what to do for the finale: a Pizza Party or a Fireworks Display. As much as Cricket likes Zza, he likes explosions more. So the two spend the time when not on shorts to try to get their way.
Tumblr media
And that’s the biggest strength of this series. It’s their voice actors from two different series interacting with each other and other Disney shows (though they’re silent). Seeing Molly and Tilly being so in sync with each other was a treat. Seeing Scratch pay Edalyn to make it snow was pretty funny. And they referenced Wander Over Yonder right around the time Craig McCracken returns to the Powerpuff Girls and Fosters. Coincidence? Probably not.
Tumblr media
It kind of shows how far Scratch will go to get food. While Cricket got a Rocket Launchinator from Doofenshmirtz (with voice), he got nothing to shoot. Meanwhile Scratch got cheese from Marco, dough from Mrs Beakly, and even vegetables from Tilly who is siding with him because dogs don’t like fireworks and there are a ton of Dog characters. So Cricket figures “why not both” as he tries to cram all the ingredients into the Rocket Launchinator and create Pizza Fireworks.
Tumblr media
Scratch doesn’t like the idea because you got to make Pizza a certain way, but thanks to Scrooge’s #1 Dime pressing the button goes off and he enjoys it. And while Cricket and Scratch bury the hatchet, Scratch does get the last laugh because he likes Pineapples on his pizza and got them in the launcher somehow. Overall, I think it's pretty fine. Its biggest saving grace is the fact that if they get the voices for certain characters we can see interactions we always wanted to see and some we never knew we wanted. And if you never seen the shorts, a world of new content is coming to you.

Donald FOWL Mini AU Info
A mini au where Donald joins fowl. It’s basically a dt17 season 3 rewrite with different duckverse canon mixed in. Cause I thought it would be interesting.
Donald joins FOWL after the events of Quack Pack, after Bradford has a small talk with him, and after being mostly convinced he joins FOWL to seek some revenge on Scrooge and Della. Donald tries to balance his family life and FOWL life, while his family is oblivious to the fact they have a FOWL spy in the manor pool. They believe he’s just traveling more often because of his new job. Even Mrs. Beakly couldn’t figure it out.
Bradford chose Donald is because he sees him as someone who shares similar ideals to him in terms of adventures, and someone who is very skilled at many things, a hard worker that Scrooge can’t see is in front of him, easy to manipulate in a way, Etc.
The reason Donald joins FOWL is for some revenge on Scrooge and Della (mostly Scrooge), and also to stop FOWL on his own. (Cause I figured that he fought FOWL, Organization, etc in the past in his Agent 44 SHUSH, as Double Duck Agency Days)
Donald helps Bradford get the Papyrus of Binding, blessed bagpipes, and other mythical artifacts. Bradford even tried to get the Golden Atlas, but failed.
Donald is the true heir to Scrooge not Webby because I figured it makes more sense and it ties well with the whole “most trusted ally” thing, and it also makes the most sense in terms of how Donald has always been the true heir. (Also Della but Donald is more likely in all honesty)
As backup in case Donald couldn’t get The Papyrus of Binding and as weapons against the Mcduck/Duck family, Black Heron made two Donald clones Project 34 aka Project Lux Dei.
Black Heron never trusted Donald from the beginning, because she believes that he will betray them and stop their plans (she’s not wrong) Donald grew to like the other FOWL Agents and see them as a small weird family.
Donald is called Agent D or Agent Duck when working for FOWL. sometimes Black Heron calls him Double Duck.—————————————————————
Project 34 aka Project Lux Dei (which means light of god in Latin) Donald’s clones
There are two versions of them the male and female.
The clones were made as backups in case Donald couldn’t get the Papyrus of Binding, and as weapons against the Mcduck/Duck family.
The Males Clones: Jurakan and Yocahu. named after Taino Gods. Jurakan is the god of Hurricanes. Yocahu is the leader of the other gods and god of sky and creation. while their post last adventure names are Aku and Paolino named after Donald's names in Italian (Paolino Paperino) and (Aku Ankk) Finnish. the reason both are missing limbs was because when they were “born” they were conjoined, so they were later separated. They have prosthetic arms just like Black Heron’s and have peg foot. Jurakan is missing his left arm and right foot, while Yocahu is missing his right arm and left foot. (The same as Donald in my lost limbs au)
The Female Clones: Amphitrite and Doris. named after sea goddesses. Amphitrite is the goddess of the ocean and wife of Poseidon in greek myth. Doris was a goddess who ruled over the oceanids in greek myth. while their post last adventure names are Donna and Dottie. Donna is referencing Donna Duck, Donald's first love interest, Dottie is Referencing Daisy's First Niece that later got replaced by April May and June. Which ironically is how Webby was made to be a condensed version of the AMJ.———————————————————————
How season 3 would change in this: I have a few problems with dt17 season 3 so yeah.
Well for one Donald is more important to the story, and Huey still has his arc but is a bit different. Webby is not a clone herself she is Mrs. Beaklys granddaughter all the way till the end, Her parents were killed by FOWL agents and they were SHUSH and Agency agents themselves. Donald and Della interact more cause we needed it man. Also Bradford’s motivations is not just ‘adventures killed my grandma crap’. Della actually changes and becomes a bit of better person cause she didn’t develop at all in the show. Daisy appears more often, she and Donald dated before and got back together in Louie’s Eleven. Also Xandra shows up cause I love her alright. Della and Scrooge face the consequences of their actions cause they never did in the show. And both get called out for their crap and on how they treated Donald, the kids, and the rest of the family. Just Della in general cause she had potential and was disappointing could’ve been better. Scrooge is more close the comics in this au, he’s more in the moral grey area just like in the comics. Some events change, added or removed to complement this au. There’s more but that’s all for now.
