Nomination Clarifications #3
We've almost finished processing all the nominations - just 29 ships left from 15 fandoms to process once we have some clarifications. The current count overall is 459 fandoms and 2788 ships. We'll also be spending the next couple of days looking over the tagset ourselves for any issues but we don't know most of the fandoms so please do let us know if you see any errors with the tagset - wandering tags, typos, duplicates, things in the wrong place etc.
If you nominated Geralt z Rivii | Geralt of Rivia/Yennefer z Vengerbergu | Yennefer of Vengerberg under Wiedźmin | The Witcher - All Media Types, this is only 2 people and we don't allow 2 people ships. If you meant to write in a third person, please let us know who and also whether the ship is for The Witcher books, games or TV.
If you nominated Botanist("When t War Came")/Famine/Pestilence/Pollution(GO)/Teller(Dr Atomic)/small god of Chernobyl for crossover - Fandom, can you clarify what fandom small god of Chernobyl is from.
If you nominated Hinata Shoyou/Kageyama Tobio (Haikyuu)/Miyazumi Tatsuru/Shiratori Mitoko (Ryman's Club) under crossover - Fandom, we assume you may mean Shiratori Mikoto for the last character but can you confirm since we're not familiar with the fandom.
If you nominated Kristin | Death/Niki | Nihachu/Technoblade/Phil Watson | Philza or Technoblade/Philza/Kristin | Death (Dream SMP) under Dream SMP, we feel this may be borderline on if Kristin is a public figure in her own right or should be considered a significant other who would not be allowed under the rules. We don't know the fandom ourselves, could you provide more info to help us decide - for example, does she have her own stream/channel, or is she in a significant number of streams/videos?
If you nominated Cosette Fauchelevent/Marius Pontmercy/Any Character(s) (LM AMT) under Les Misérables - All Media Types, could you confirm if you are fine with literally any character, including original characters, or do you want any canon character?
If you nominated Beranardi al Auriga/Mandala Flynn/Hikaru Sulu under Star Trek: Classic Timeline, we assume that was probably a typo in there but can you confirm if this is meant to be Bernardi al Auriga from the The Entropy Effect novel.
If you nominated Aiden/Coën/Lambert (Witcher TV) under The Witcher (TV), can you confirm whether Aiden is actually in the show since we couldn't see anything suggesting the character was in it on character lists, only Aiden mentioned in the games.
If you nominated Kamisato Ayato/Thoma/Other Commissioner under 原神 | Genshin Impact (Video Game), could you clarify what you mean by other commissioner, does this mean either of commissioners from the other two commissions or something else?
If you nominated Klimt van Zieks | Klint van Zieks/Prosecution’s Office under 大逆転裁判 | Dai Gyakuten Saiban | The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (Video Games) is that meant to be the specific Prosecutor's office or a more general term?
If you nominated Gong Jun | Simon/Yu Xiang/Zhang Zhehan under 山河令 | Word of Honor (TV 2021) RPF, we weren't 100% sure if we'd found the right actor for Yu Xiang, is Yun_Xiang who plays Bi Xingming in Word of Honor the correct person?
If you nominated Erik Lehnsherr/Pietro Maximoff/Charles Xavier or Erik Lehnsherr/Raven | Mystique/Charles Xavier or Kurt Wagner/Erik Lehnsherr/Charles Xavier under Marvel (Comics) or Logan/Ororo Munroe/Kurt Wagner under X-Men (Comicverse), please can you let us know if you meant Marvel 616 or another comics universe.
If you nominated the fandom Mr. Malcolm's List, can you clarify if you mean the novel or the 2022 film.
If you nominated the fandom ユリ熊嵐 | Yuri Kuma Arashi, can you clarify if you meant the anime or the manga since they look to have the same characters but very different plotlines.
If you nominated Hernando Fuentes/Lito Rodriguez & Daniela Velasquez under Sense 8, that is rejected because we don't allow &'s for relationships in this exchange, however, the version using all /'s - Hernando Fuentes/Lito Rodriguez/Daniela Velasquez - is already in the tagset. Similarly, we've rejected Elizabeth Burke/Peter Burke/Neal Caffrey and Neal Caffrey/Mozzie under White Collar (TV 2009) but Elizabeth Burke/Peter Burke/Neal Caffrey/Mozzie is already in the tagset.
We also still have 5 questions outstanding from the other clarifications posts. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment on this post. Nitty Gritty (slot)
Tegen beter weten in zakken we af richting Downtown.
Henk & Gerard

2006-09-11 Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, TN [Video]
Sufjan Stevens 11 September, 2006 Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, TN USA
Source: AUD, Panasonic PV-GS9 > PC > Authoring > DVD > VOB files salvaged from a malfunctioning DVD > Concatenated and converted to mp4 (ffmpeg) Taper: Unknown Quality: C
I've known about this DVD for over a decade, but only recently did I manage to track down a copy. I'd seen it described as a "great audience shot video", but sadly, it is A LOT more underwhelming than that. If you want to feel like your friend sneaked you into a Butterfly Brigade show inside a bag, this is the video for you!
Audio is fine (I'd give it a B). Video ranges from okayish to the camera not pointing to the stage at all. But I've decided to share it for historical purposes: it is the only (almost) complete video recording of the 2006 tour, if you ignore the atypical, televised Austin City Limits performance. This is, of course, just a warning as to what to expect. Thank you to the taper for taking the time and effort to tape in difficult conditions, and to the person who was generous enough to find their DVD in storage and share it with us.

Reigning SPBGMA Entertainer of the Year The Kody Norris Show’s New Album ‘RHINESTONE REVIVAL’ – Out Now!
Tumblr media
Award-winning country & bluegrass group, The Kody Norris Show is excited to announce their highly anticipated album Rhinestone Revival is available now! This undeniable record delivers everything their devoted fans adore, and then some. Building upon their signature style, Rhinestone Revival showcases a dynamic collection of twelve exhilarating bluegrass tracks that will leave listeners craving more. Elevating the honky-tonk spirit to new heights, the inclusion of percussion adds an irresistible rhythm that guarantees a toe-tapping experience from start to finish, cementing the album’s place as a must-have for bluegrass enthusiasts. Of the twelve songs included on Rhinestone Revival, four are penned by frontman Kody Norris: “Baltimore I’m Leaving,” “Please Tell Me Why,” “Gotta Get My Baby Back,” and their latest single, “Fiddler’s Rock.” Last October, the first single “Mountain Rosalie” was released along with an accompanying lyric video seen here. New elements to Rhinestone Revival include a track sung by Kody’s fiddling “sweetie” Mary Rachel Nalley-Norris who steps out on “Endless Highway,” a tune Alison Krauss made popular in 1990. In addition, the band’s banjo ace Josiah Tyree takes the lead on their current single “I Call Her Sunshine.” Charlie Lowman rounds out the group keeping perfect time on bass. Like All Suited Up, the band’s Rebel Records debut which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Bluegrass Albums Chart, Rhinestone Revival is produced by Darin Aldridge who also plays mandolin on a number of tracks. Additional guests on the album include Darin’s wife Brooke Aldridge singing harmony vocals, Joe Mullins & The Radio Rambler’s Jason Barie providing second fiddle on a number of the album’s songs, percussionist Tony Creasman and David Johnson, whose wailing harmonica on “Otto Wood” gives the song a decidedly more country flavor. “We are so excited that our new album, Rhinestone Revival is available today,” share Kody Norris. “Rhinestone Revival is a virtual road trip of our musical expression and has something to offer every listener! Recording this project was a blast and we certainly hope you enjoy it!” Last night, The Kody Norris Show celebrated the release of Rhinestone Revival at their first-ever album release party at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville. The party was sponsored by Gus Arrendale and Springer Mountain Farms Chicken. Also, The Kody Norris Show will make their Ryman debut later this summer when they open for The Queen of Bluegrass Rhonda Vincent at Springer Mountain Farms Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman on July 13. “We would like to thank Mr. Gus Arrendale and Springer Mountain Farms Chicken for their support for our album release party,” shares Mary Rachel Nalley Norris. “It is always exciting to share new music with everyone and hope you get a copy of Rhinestone Revival. We are also excited to be opening for Rhonda Vincent at the Ryman on July 13!” To order/stream/ Rhinestone Revival, visit HERE. From chapter 5 of the Robodebt report (emphasis mine):
(part 1) The New Policy Proposal (NPP) presented to the Expenditure Review Committee (ERC) on 25 March 2015 proposed 1 July 2015 as the commencement date for the process which would become the Robodebt scheme (the Scheme). The estimated savings for the measure were based on an assumption that it would commence at that time. However, at the time of the ERC meeting, Department of Human Services (DHS) officers had not completed the design of the proposed process, or tested or modelled it, and the Department of Finance continued to hold concerns about the costings that underpinned it. So it is perhaps not surprising that the focus of DHS officers after the ERC meeting on 25 March 2015 was fixed on overcoming any remaining barriers to the launch of the Scheme on 1 July 2015, rather than on undertaking any critical analysis of its underpinnings that might reveal its fundamental flaws.
(part 2) The assertion that income support recipients were able to make informed decisions about whether to respond to letters sent to them was speculative, untested and unsupported by any evidence. Those statistics cited in support were an entirely unconvincing basis for the assertion, which was also contrary to the facts known to both Britton and Mr Ryman. Both knew that income support recipients might not receive letters sent to them by DHS, so the fact they had not responded to them did not amount to acceptance of what the letters asserted. In any case, the initial letters sent to recipients, supposedly the basis for “informed decisions,” did not reveal that income averaging was going to be used to calculate their entitlements.
(There are 23 chapters in the report. This is the table of contents for section 2:
Section 2. Chronology of the Robodebt scheme 2 Overview of the origins of Robodebt 3 2014 – Conceptual development 4 2015 – Articulation of the Scheme and the new policy proposal 5 2015 to 2016 – Implementaton of the Scheme 6 2017, Part A – A crescendo of criticism 7 2017, Part B – Inquiries and investigations 8 2018 – The Scheme rolls on 9 2019 – The end of Robodebt)

And The Newest Members Are... || Daniel Maitland POV
Task #12: Background NPC: Write about a moment of your character’s life from the perspective of an NPC character.
Tumblr media
Canonically happens tomorrow, November 12th, 2022
Description: Daniel Maitland and Franny Sor Robinson are inducted into the Grand Old Opry as Dara & Danny after having been invited a few months ago
What they’re wearing: Franny and Dan both wear their traditional cultural dress as a statement but also because this is a big achievement, even bigger than just winning an award, so they’re treating it with the utmost respect. I don’t feel comfortable saying exactly what Dan is wearing because Tlingit regalia is very symbolic --- like it tells the story of what clan you’re from, so many little bits mean something, but click these links here to see examples of Tlingit regalia in action so you can have some visual ballpark idea! [here, here, here] And Franny’s wearing this minus the bracelets so she can hold instruments. Some liberties are taken so they can hold guitars/banjos but like they’re v obviously wearing cultural clothing.
Tracker
A day full of interviews and rehearsals and Daniel had barely had time to talk to Franny.
Weaving through the backstage crowd he finally managed to catch her alone, standing to the side of the stage watching one of the other singers, mouthing all of the words.
“Hey,” Dan said, resting a hand on Franny’s shoulder. “You nervous?”
“Tripping balls.” Franny admitted. “I know I tied the fabric right but I’m like what if it falls open and I flash the whole Ryman?”
“That’s what you’re thinking about right now?”
“Among other things,” Franny said, voice a little shaky with nerves. “Do you think sound check went well? I’m worried about my voice. Did it sound off to you?”
Dan frowned, not used to Franny being anything less than confident (if not cocky). He’d known this woman for over thirty years and this was unusual. “Like hell. Don’t be nervous, we’re literally here because we’re good at our job, right?”
That seemed to do it, as she went back to watching the Opry show from the sidelines. Dan gave her shoulder a squeeze and went to grab a drink of water before they were introduced, for the last time, as guests of the Grand Old Opry.
Dan couldn’t help but get a smidge emotional thinking about their career together. Opry membership...that wasn’t even a possibility they’d considered when they first started playing music together in middle school. When they went to separate universities and Franny moved to England, he never thought they’d end up building an entire career together. And yet, they had.
Thanks, in no small part he would argue, to this badgering her to turn their frequent collaboration into an official duo. Performing as Dara & Danny was what kicked both of their careers into life; even if, Dan would argue, Franny was more famous for her work with rock band Seoul Hanoi’d than for the banjo-filled Dara & Danny albums. Doors opened for the two of them because of their work together and Dan couldn’t be happier than he hinged his career on their joint success.
“Mr. Maitland, you’re up in a few minutes,” the stage manager said politely. “You’re good to go?”
“Mhm, just let me--” Dan quickly downed the water and gave her a thumbs up. “Franny’s still at stage left?”
“Yes sir.”
“Great, thanks Stacy.”

Hey babe, I had a q about your last photo caption. The bit about Marilyn refusing to be a kept woman is somewhat misleading to me- didn't she live with Johnny Hyde for a time, and didn't his influence grant her favorable notice during casting for films like The Asphalt Jungle? Maybe I'm not remembering correctly, but I don't think their relationship was precisely sexual even if he clearly doted on her for a time. Obvi she got further on her own merit, but I do think that's an oft unexplored moment in her life that was definitely instrumental because of her choice to link up with him. Just wondering about your thoughts on this! Love the blog <3
Hi! Thank you for your sweet comments about my blog :) Sorry for the delay in response, but I wanted to give a thorough response to this. I’ve actually received a couple of comments on Instagram lately regarding this, and I don’t mind addressing this confusion.
*Disclaimer to everyone reading: This is based on the research I have done and is to address a number of issues. This isn’t to glorify Marilyn or deny any flaws or imperfections, but to state the facts. I’m publicly sharing this so I can later refer back to it. It’s a longer response to answer any follow-up questions I may get but, of course, you can still ask any you may have. ♡♡
--
It can be deceiving, but I think the bigger concern is what she took for what she got, rather than vise versa. If she was looking to be a gold-digging, role-stealing actress, she would have married Hyde the minute he asked her to. She would have inherited his millions and could have bought her way through Hollywood. For a young woman with hardly anything, she chose herself and said no.
Just before she met him, she was getting help from John Carroll and Lucille Ryman, so when she said, Johnny was the first to believe in her, that isn’t entirely true. Due to her lack of a father-figure as a child I think that when she saw the belief in her from a man like Johnny, at a reputable agency, who was willing to do anything for her, she latched on to it.
Hyde’s co-workers at William Morris later reported being furious with him because he slowly began to abandon his other clients and focused only on helping her. In the case of The Asphalt Jungle, since you asked, it was actually the help of both Hyde and Lucille Ryman that she was given an audition. However, director John Huston later said she didn’t get the “role because of Hyde...she got it because she was damn good.”
In my personal opinion, based on the facts, whether did not sleep with Johnny - some historians even refuse to believe they were ever sexually involved - it was never for roles, auditions, etc. As I mentioned, if it were, she would have married him, taken his money, and used that to her advantage. She actually stopped seeing him - both  personally and professionally - by Fall 1949 because she was so sick and tired of being called, “Mrs. Johnny Hyde” by him and hearing from colleges that he was calling her his wife.
When it came to being a “kept” woman, she was referring to the large number of “casting directors” or studio execs, etc, who faked an upcoming film to lure her into their office and attempt to seduce her, or held their hand on her thigh while she auditioned, almost forced her, etc... and each time she managed to walk out.
She wrote an article entitled, “The Wolves I’ve Know” that was published in a number of places like Motion Picture in 1953, The New York Daily News, and more. When she met with Ben Hecht for her autobiography interviews, she also spoke of them and it was published in a London newspaper in August 1954, and in Australian magazines in 1955.
He did leave his family and move into a bigger place and invited her to live there, but she never officially moved in. She did spend quite a bit of her time there, but by early Spring she was living on her own and was very low on rent. This is why she posed nude on red velvet in May 1949. She admitted to thinking of asking men she knew for money to help her, but felt she wouldn’t have been able to forgive herself, and it made her sick to even think of it.
For everyone reading this, remember, she was twenty-three. She was still a very young girl and had grown up with little guidance in her life. She was abused, and was in and out of so many school and homes, she was never taught how to do things. She figured it out on her own, and of course, like anyone in that situation, maybe didn’t always make the best decisions or have the best thoughts.

I know this answer was very long, but I felt I needed to address a number of points because things are rarely black and white - especially for Marilyn Monroe, who is the subject of much scrutiny, then and now - and there are many things to consider in regards to a sensitive subject like this!
I hope I’m not missing anything, but I hope it answers your question! xo
--
Below is a list of various quotes said by Marilyn that I hope everyone will find helpful :)
From “The Wolves I’ve Known” published in The New York Times:
The first real wolf I encountered should have been ashamed of himself because he was trying to take advantage of a mere kid. That’s all I was and I wasn’t suspicious of him at all when he stopped his car at a corner and started to talk to me.
He looked at me all over and then came up with that famous line: “You ought to be in pictures.” That was the first time I’d ever heard it, so it didn’t sound corny to me.
He told me he had an office at the Goldwyn studio and said why didn’t I come and see him and he would get me a screen test. It sounded pretty good to me because I was crazy to get into the movies.
I was modeling at that time and I asked the people who ran the agency where I got my jobs what they thought of his offer. The manager called the studio but never was able to get in touch with my would-be benefactor. However, the wolf called the agency and I made an appointment to go to his office on Saturday afternoon.
I didn’t know then that the producers and other movie officials don’t make Saturday afternoon appointments. I found that out later. I also found out that he didn’t really have any connection with the Goldwyn studio but had borrowed a friend’s office.
He was fat and jovial and, of course, drove a Cadillac. He gave me a script to read and told me how to pose while reading it. All the poses had to be reclining, although the words I was reading didn’t seem to call for that position.
--
Of course, there are other ways a girl could survive until another studio came along. A starlet could take on a lover, usually a well-heeled married man who could pay her bills, or she could become the mistress to an old man and through his connections help advance her career. Believe me, there were and still are many starstruck girls that do get by that way. But for myself, respect is one of life’s greatest treasures. I mean, what does it all add up to if you don’t have that? If there [is] only one thing in my life I [am] proud of, it’s that I’ve never been a kept woman.
And believe me, it wasn’t because there weren’t opportunities to become one. I think I had as many problems as the next starlet keeping the Hollywood wolves from my door. These wolves just could not understand me. They would tell me, “But Marilyn, you’re not playing the game the way you should. Be smart. You’ll never get anywhere in this business acting the way you do.” My answer to them would be, “The only acting I’ll do is for the motion picture camera.” I was determined, no one was going to use me or my body—even if he could help my career. I’ve never gone out with a man I didn’t want to. No one, not even the studio, could force me to date someone.
You can’t sleep your way into being a star. It takes much, much more. But it helps. A lot of actresses got their first chance that way. Most of the men are such horrors, they deserve all they can get out of them!
The one thing I hate more than anything else is being used. I’ve always worked hard for the sake of someday becoming a talented actress. I knew I would make it someday if I only kept at it and worked hard without lowering my principles and pride in myself.

Part 1: In Tribute to Reggae Month
The use of reggae music by choreographers of the National Dance Theatre Company (NDTC) is as old as the music itself. The NDTC, which was founded in 1962 before the flowering of reggae, grew up with the music in its progress from ska to rock steady through to its present manifestation.
Back in 1972, Tommy Pinnock created Desperate Silences, a work which drew on the music of Burning Spear, largely to provide ambiance for the piece, which caught the anguish and dread reality of Kingston inner-city.
Original Dancers (Desperate Silences): Madge Broderick, Monica McGowan, Audley Butler, Tony Wilson, Thomas Pinnock
Tumblr media
Three years prior Pinnock’s experimentations, Rex Nettleford explored the riddim in his All God’s Children (1969) using it for the downtown characters.
Original Dancers (All God’s Children): Yvonne daCosta/Noelle Chutkan (Hostess), Dorothy Fraser, Bridget Casserley, Mavis Stoppi, Andrea Anderson, Barbara Requa, Barry Moncrieffe, Bert Rose, Audley Butler (Uptowners); Dorothy Sanguinetti, Jean Binns, Fredericka Byfield, Tommy Pinnock, Noel Hall, Jackie Guy (Downtowners); Beverly Kitson, Gertrude Sherwood Joyce Campbell Cheryl Ryman, Dennis Scott (Spirits of the Weed)
Tumblr media
By 1973, reggae was in full swing, and the NDTC adopted to the challenge. Rex Nettleford’s Street People (1973) mixed Desmond Dekker’s “Poor Me, Israelites” with Ernie Smith’s “Ben Dung”. The work portrays scenes from the life in the streets of urban Kingston.
Original Dancers (Street People): Jackie Guy (Sufferer); Yvonne Ffrench/Marylin Sanguinetti (Madam Bag-and Pan); Fitzroy Hunt (Bredda Man); Audley Butler (Mr, S-90); Bridget Spaulding, Pansy Hassan (Ladies of the Night); Jean Binns (The Unsaved Girl); Joyce Campbell (Madam Saviour)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In 1974, Nettleford created Tribute to Cliff, a work dedicated to Jamaican composer and singer, Jimmy Cliff. The music which inspired the work were “Price of Peace”, “On My Life”, “Sitting in Limbo”, and “Many Rivers To Cross”.
Original Dancers (Tribute to Cliff): Bridget Spaulding, Pansy Hassan, Monica McGowan, Andrea Nash, Melanie Graham, Patsy Ricketts, Judith Pennant, Neil Summers, Noelle Chutkan, Bert Rose, Barry Moncrieffe, Jackie Guy, Tony Wilson

Reggae artists who have provided much musical inspiration in the mid 1970′s included Bob Marley for the critically acclaimed Court of Jah (1975) choreographed by Rex Nettleford and Toots Hibbert‘s compositions for Backlash (1975) also created by Nettleford.
Marley’s “Rebel Music”, “No Woman No Cry” and “Suh Jah Seh” provided the score for Court of Jah. The work won critical acclaim when the NDTC appeared at City Center in New York and later when Clive Thompson Dance Company, based in Staten Island, performed the work at Lincoln Center, NY.

Backlash utilised “What A Bam Bam” and Toots’ “Christmas Song”. The programme note read:
The gaolers and the gaoled are really all prisoners together. So out of agony of repression and brutality come protest, violence even madness but also individual compassion and hope for redemption...
Original Dancers (Backlash): Rex Nettleford/Michael Richardson, Barry Moncrieffe, Bert Rose, Jackie Guy, Neil Summers, Fitzroy Hunte, Michael Binns, Calvin McDonald, Tony Wilson (as boy with the knife), Noelle Chutkan (Chief Visitor), Joyce Campbell, Barbara Requa, Pansy Hassan, Madge Broderick, Cheryl Ryman, Dorothy Sanguinetti, Gertrude Sherwood, Judy Cunningham, Yvonne Ffrench, Patsy Ricketts, Bridget Spaulding, Monica McGowan, Jean Binns, Melanie Graham, Sandra McLeod, Judith Pennant, Denise Francis, Alison Symes, Pauline Khan

In 1981, Rex Nettleford turned to Marley’s music “Work” and “Redemption Song” for the dance-satire Rockstone Debate. The work appeared in four movements:
(i) Parliament
(ii) The Stonebreakers
(iii) Redemption
(iv) Hope
Original Dancers (Rockstone Debate): Joyce Campbell, Melanie Graham, Pansy Hassan, Monica McGowan, Sandra Minott, Arlene Richards, Alison Symes, Alaine Grant, Gabrielle Harban, Judith Pennant, Cheryl Ryman, Barry Moncrieffe, Jackie Guy, Samuel Bailey, Duran Hylton, Fitzroy Hunt, Oswald Blackwood, Carson Cumberbatch, Christopher Morrison, Glen Dhyll

By 1984, Rex Nettleford’s Vibrations had gone full throttle in the rhythms, sounds, and sensibility of the reggae universe. The work drew on the music from Ya Ya — “Hold Fast”, R. Bromfield and Franklyn — “Namibia”, Gregory Isaac's — “Cool Down The Dub” and Papa Levi “Mi God Mi King”.
Original Dancers (Vibrations): Joyce Campbell, Melanie Graham, Judith Pennant, Monica McGowan, Alaine Grant, Sandra Minott, Jacquie Smith, Gabrielle Harban, Arlene Richards, Alison Symes, Denise Robinson, Judy Wedderburn, Carole Murdoch, Paula Monroe, Monica Potts-Lawrence, Sita Dixon, Tony Wilson, Adrian Fletcher, Fitroy Hunt, Christopher Morrison, Delroy Rose, Glenford Brown, Dwight Lee Eisenhower Williams, Monty Williams

The next major dance-work by the National Dance Theatre Company (NDTC) that utilised reggae music was Children of Mosiah (1987). The work of Bob Marley and Jimmy Cliff dominated the piece, but the choreographer saw others like Burning Spear, Peter Tosh and Mutabaruka. Nettleford’s Children of Mosiah paid tribute to the Rt. Excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey, and was presented on the Hundredth Anniversary of his birth.
Original Dancers (Children of Mosiah): Joyce Campbell, Monica McGowan, Melanie Graham, Judith Pennant, Alison Symes, Denise Robinson, Sandra Minott, Arlene Richards, Jacquie Smith, Judith Wedderburn, Alaine Grant, Carol Murdock, MoniKa Lawrence, Paula Monroe, Sita Littlewood, Barry Moncrieffe (Narrator), Tony Wilson, Adrian Fletcher, Christopher Morrison, Deroi Rose, Mark Ramsay, Eisenhower Williams, Glen Brown

Hfhvvjvcc- you have no idea how happy I am to hear from someone who knows about Alfred 🥺😭❤️ CV was my first RE game and is hands down still my favourite, like the overall aesthetic of the Ashford mansion(s) are amazing and the B.O.W designs are on point too 👏 I’ve been shipping with Alfred (and trying to keep him somewhat in line... and failing) since 2015 so it seriously means a lot that you said all these nice things 😭❤️
