Rainy Days for Ghosts - the musical alter ego of horror journalist Jerry Smith - has released Rescore III, a third and final album composed of instrumental songs inspired by horror movies. It’s available to purchase digitally for $7 on Bandcamp.

The seven-track album features cues influenced by Doctor Sleep, 10 to Midnight, Dirty Harry, Candyman, The Evil Dead, Ms. 45, and Elvira: Mistress of the Dark.

The first Rescore - with songs based on Trancers, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Crow, Friday the 13th, Puppet Master, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Halloween - was released in March 2022.

It was followed by Rescore II - with songs based on Halloween 4, The Exorcist III, Puppet Master III, Trancers III, Jaws 2, Silent Night Deadly Night 2, and Hellraiser III - in May 2022.
