A scene that I believe showcases how Horikoshi is quick to sacrifice meaningful character moments for a cheap laugh is the faux interview with Mt. Lady.

By itself, the purpose for this scene I think could have been done more effectively instead of just pretending to be in front of a camera (and it feels annoying as hell when all it’s doing is reminding the viewers AGAIN who these characters are, in case you somehow forgot), but whatever. And we also get more material of Bakugou being insufferable (and Todoroki acting like a cardboard box by simply accepting Bakugou’s insults.)

And then we get to Izuku.

We get an inner monologue from him about finally showing his progress on his handling of Blackwhip. And even though it’s a tiny tendril, Izuku is clearly pleased with where he’s at, because now he can go up from here!

And does the scene push the idea that we are supposed to be proud of Midoriya on his hard work?

(Materializes through the screen and slaps your face) OF COURSE NOT YOU FUCKING FOOL!

Every single individual looks completely underwhelmed at what they just saw. Like they were expecting more. Like Midoriya was supposed to suddenly whip that exact giant ass black mass THAT NEARLY HURT/KILL HIS CLASSMATES and have it completely under control.

I can imagine a few of them feeling this way, but every single one of them? Horikoshi is just doing this to make Midoriya look bad. I absolutely refuse to believe there’s not a single character who would react differently (their ACTUAL characterization) to that.

Todoroki, who understands the struggle of balancing two quirks, and would probably feel compelled to help Midoriya out? Apparently not.

Uraraka, who was quick to praise Midoriya in anything in the past such as the quirk assessment test, and can plainly see how much pride he has getting a hold of a new dangerous quirk? And Iida, Midoriya’s other best friend? Does he clap his hands in the air like a seal and says, “Bravo!” to Izuku’s progress? Nope, they’re not allowed to feel that.

Tokoyami, who has another dark-based quirk and could relate to Midoriya’s struggle? Does he give a simple phrase of encouragement, or even think to himself, “Slowly, a new Brother of the Shadows will come to be.”? Why the hell would he possibly think that?

Does anyone else, such as Yaoyorozu, Shoji, Ojiro, or hell, even Hagakure, comment on that while not powerful, Midoriya’s ability on handling essentially two quirks is very impressive? Of course not. Instead of being funny, this scene comes off that no one actually supports Midoriya and it made me sad for him and how it assassinates pretty much most of Class 1-A’s characteristics, instead of allowing them to act naturally.

And the cherry on top? The one with the closing statement that is supposed to sum up what we the audience are supposed to feel? “Don’t be proud of something so weak.” By the one trick pony that has had his ONLY quirk for so long that he doesn’t appreciate LEGITIMATE progress. Fuckin little shitbird.

(Sighs tiredly) Hang on, gonna go watch the scene...

(One scene watch later)

... I want to kill, EVERYONE there for not supporting the kid for getting control over a quirk that caused so much damage!

Why aren't his friends cheering him on?

Why wasn't any of the adults proud of him?

Why is Izuku always the butt of these mean spirited jokes?

Why can't my son just be praised and feel proud for himself for once in his goddamn life?

Andre: He makes a LOT of snacks and shows you all of his favorite romantic comedies, of course! You're snuggled up against him with Pepper (his pitbull), whose tail is happily thumping against the couch. He's a big night owl so if you try to stay up with him despite how tired you are, he will encourage you to sleep and not worry about him. You two compromise by letting him cuddle you while you sleep.

Casey: Of course he has the best candies! And maybe the spiciest snacks you've ever seen- some of these you've never even heard of. Effortlessly, he's able to devour the hottest of them all that would make most people vomit and cry- how is he able to do that without even cringing??? Either way, we show you all his best snacks and video games. He's really good at Mario cart so fair warning.

Chrys: She will show you all her favorite recipes she likes to cook, encouraging you to work with her so she can teach you as well. Of course, she has the freshest ingredients too. Only the best after all. She has a lot of plushies, most of them she's bought but a lot of them have been handmade by Eddie. They're all plant-themed and very squishy. You both sit on Mt. Plush and watch movies. She doesn't have a general preference so long as it makes her laugh; she doesn't like constantly sad and edgy movies. She would probably enjoy satire movies mostly.

David: Fun fact he's never been to a slumber party. He doesn't know what to do so when you suggest the idea he frantically goes on the internet and looks up what to do so he can impress you. Not that he would ever admit that he did that though. He takes it entirely too seriously and has a schedule planned out- you should probably reassure him that it's not supposed to be like that, and the point is to do whatever is most fun and spur of the moment. You two end up talking about conspiracy theories all night and he lets you pet his bunnies while eating some snacks. He rarely likes to sleep because he either struggles or has nightmares. For once he was actually able to sleep peacefully and comfortably.

Eddie: MASTER PILLOW FORT MAKER HERE. I mean he has to be with two younger siblings you know? He pampers those little guys like his life depends on it. He has so many movies on DVD; this man is a movie addict. If you have questions, he can answer them in-depth and give you behind-the-scenes info and theories about the movie's plot. He makes a crap ton of plushies in his free time- plus they're a good coping mechanism when he can't punch a hole into something. He tries his best not to talk during the movies- he gets so excited and wants to tell you all about the sets and how they were made or what sort of lines were improvised. If you're okay with him chatting during the movie he will ramble for hours- a stark contrast to the person he was when you first met. He usually hates talking.

Kieran: For a punk/goth/alt guy, you wouldn't expect the sort of stuff he pulls out. He has Hello Kitty pajamas and tons of Sanrio plushies. You're watching My Little Pony movies and he's singing along to them. It's fantastic and he tells you all of these facts about Fluttershy you'd never even heard of. If you two wanna do something spontaneous, he dyes or cuts your hair on the extreme ends, and on the lower ends, he shows you some good hairstyles you never expected you could pull off. He lets you try on his clothes- have a whole fashion show. It's a fun time and oddly wholesome considering how he flirted with you and tried to get into your pants when you first met.

Noble: He's never been A PART of slumber parties before but he has seen a few? He has an idea of what they are as he's seen his sisters host some. He asks you for guidance on what to do- if you just want to chill out, he's more than willing to do that. He bakes with you and gives you some of his secret tips and tricks- maybe you two make edibles and watch some kids' cartoons or Hannibal. He really likes those gorey shows. They make him hungry. There's a lot of cuddling and he tells you how much he loves and adores you. He might do your makeup or nails while you vent to him or share any gossip on your mind. He's a good listener. He loves your voice more than anything.

Zach: Similar to David and Noble he's never really been to one- Or well- He HAS but he was only invited because Kieran's friends' parents didn't want to seem impolite and exclude him. He would always go into the corner and draw, not interested in being there. However, when you ask him to have a slumber party, he gets flustered. He never expected to actually be asked to hang out- one on one- with you. You! He really likes you- he doesn't want to mess up. For someone who tends to lie a lot, he's honest with you and tells you he has no idea what to do, asking for you to take the lead, and he'll just follow your instructions. When you're watching movies/anime with him or you're not paying attention to him, he's secretly drawing you. Of course, if you catch him, he will be super embarrassed to show you the drawings. Don't look through his notebook unless you want to embarrass him immensely.

Bonus: Everyone at once!

Shit, that's chaotic as hell. Andre and Noble are arguing over what to cook while Chrys is making food in the kitchen with Casey. Kieran and Zach are doing karaoke way too loud while Eddie covers his ears as he's overstimulated. He made a pillow fort to hide in- David is with him and also overstimulated.

Internet is interesting place. So many content to discover and many interesting articles to read. Although internet is supposed to be fun and entertaining place for most of the time it's actually not what we think it is. If you search for too long you may find some things that well you wish you didn't see. From creepy videos to disturbing things that people are doing down to the most uncanny and not worth seeing things none thought can exist. In today's post we're going to look at 5 disturbing and shocking internet videos and sites that you might want to avoid. Heads up for disturbing content and violent moments.

Without any further problems let's begin.

Disturbing videos found on YouTube

1. I Feel Fantastic:

I feel fantastic is rather unique video and experience on its own. To this day I can't properly explain what was this video about and why was it made. The video itself was uploaded in 2009 by YouTube user Creepyblog and it contains what we can assume as scary singing robot that wears wig and human clothes. To say that video is creepy on its own isn't enough but it gives me weird unsettling feeling that I can't explain. It's just that song and whole image of this robot. I was never a fan of human looking robot and every time I saw something like as a kid I was crying and begging my mom to turn off TV or whatever was playing at the moment. Some people say that this video was put together by serial killer who used his victims clothes to dress up robot but as it turned out later creator of this disturbing video was John Bergeron who stated that he only made this video because of his creepy robot fascination.

2. Don't hug me I'm scared.

Well my childhood was interesting that's for sure. From early age I was staying home alone so of course I had to get my first phone so my mom wouldn't be worried. My first experience with internet was when I was around 7 and started going to school. It was time when I loved watching my little pony and cartoons. Typical stuff 7 years old would watch. Then of course by the time passed I got mt first phone with internet and tragedy happened. I was so excited that I'm finally having my own phone like my friends that I didn't even realize how bad it can be sometimes. My parents weren't paying much attention to what I was doing on my phone. I was casually surfing from one video to another until i found it. Don't hug me I'm scared is collection of six short videos. It may look adorable at first as the style of characters is similar to Sesame Street or Muppets show but as you go further into the video it gets darker and more violent. In each of episode main characters suffer terrible things. With times of cannibalism or suffering by old age it's really hard not to say that it was traumatic for some of us. Sometimes you may think that all that violence is pointless but it actually made me wonder why would anyone do that? Why would anyone want to scare kids so badly. I may be bit overreacting here but it was one kind experience as a kid.

3. Blank Room Soup

Blank Room Soup was one of many choices I wanted to use for this post. Even though it might seem like pretty decent material for my post there's still something that made me wonder if I should put it here. The video is very uncanny and it gives vibes of what I think is torture. In the video we see man eating what we might assume as soup with long wooden spoon. He's eating rather fast and like he was scared. We hear him either crying or laughing. We then see two oversized pop doll. It seems that these two figures are trying to comfort crying man who is well still eating his soup. To say that video is giving me creepy, uncanny vibe is not enough. I have urge to find out more about this video but everything that i read is already enough.

4.Ghost car

Yep my least favourite childhood trauma. I think most of people have seen this scary car comercial. First it's just peaceful video of white car driving down the road and then when you think nothing is going to happen. Bam! Jumpscare right at your face. All you going to think about is that creepy ghost of lady that just Jumpscared you. I don't think there's futher context to this video. It's just there to scare you and that's all.

5. Dining Room Or There Is Nothing

Well here's cherry on top. Another out of context creepy video that will scare you for nights but won't bring anything else to your life. The video starts with creepy mannequin that looks like ghost of women who speaks backwards and then her head falls into bowl of soup.

1. There's a website that shows you plane crash and people final moments. Pretty creepy and kinda sad because its not fun to see people die in horrible thing like plane crash.

2. Death Date is well Intresting and creepy website to visit because it shows you Date and time of your death. Fun right?

3.Scary For Kids

As the name implies, Scary for Kids is a website designed to scare children, but I am sure that some of its offerings may also cause considerable frights for certain adults.

This creepy website contains scary bedtime stories, including a vast collection of movies, videos, games, and several other whatnots. Its content compilation is very creepy, and as mentioned earlier, capable of scaring both kids and adults, too

4.Homicide Monitor

Homicide Monitor is one of the scariest and most dangerous websites ever created. This creepy website features a map showing all murder cases happening on earth. It provides visitors scary information, which often varies yearly, about homicide incidents that occurred in recent times. It also includes a drop-down menu where you can choose any nation to know the exact murder cases that occurred there

5.Housecreep

Housecreep features real-life and fictional crimes with places they actually occurred. Essentially, this scary website includes a comprehensive list of houses with gruesome stories that either happened in real life or were assumed to have happened. Content featured in Housecreep includes murders, hauntings, unexplained deaths, etc

Jezabat’s AU Masterlist

I’m reposting this for the second time because the link to it isn’t working.

Unikitty

- Unikitty: Big Bright World

My biggest and most developed AU project. The fanfiction series set in this alternate universe takes place roughly three years after the show. In this AU, The Birthday to End All Birthdays didn't happen. It’s like, “What if Unikitty was more like Minecraft: Story Mode?”

- Unikitty: Cuckoo Land Pals

This AU is where the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls movies are reenacted with the cast of the show. There is another world where the gang are human Lego figurines, and they attend a school called Cuckoo Land High. Unikitty travels to this world to get back a miniature version of the Smiles Sphere, which will be awarded as a prize at a dance. A teenage human version of her attends another school called Frowntown Prep.

Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart

- The Lunar AU

This is a universe in which there is an area in Pure Heart Valley called Forest County. It is mostly populated by Lunar Sweetypies, which are Sweetypies with crescent moon markings somewhere on their body. They have low energy, droopy eyelids, dark fur/skin colors, very high sensitivity to the sun, and deeper voices than most Sweetypies. Eugene has been friends with a Lunar Sweetypie named Edgar Cresselion, and their daughters, Adorabat and Annette, were friends once. Also, in this AU, Mao Mao's mother has a chronic illness.

- Mao Mao: Dancers of Pure Heart

Each character specializes in a certain type of dance instead of fighting. Each Sweetypie specializes in their own kind of dance, as do the heroes and Sky Pirates. Mao Mao does jazz, Badgerclops does hip-hop and Adorabat does ballet.

Trolls

- Seven Tribes

Everything is the same except there are seven troll tribes instead of six. The seventh tribe is the swing music trolls, and they live on Mt. Big Band. Their homes and their fashion sense are 1930s and 1940s-inspired. There are also musical theater trolls.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

- Monster Children

This AU gives more plot to Halloween Town’s trick-or-treaters. It also adds Birthday Land, New Year City and Earth Day Town to the holiday forest. Plus, there’s Tooth Town, where the Tooth Fairy lives, and Time Land, where Father Time lives.

Minecraft: Story Mode

- Minecraft: Story Mode- The Next Chapters

This is an inverse AU to Unikitty: Big Bright World. It’s like, “What if Minecraft: Story Mode was more like Unikitty?” The fanfiction series set in this alternate universe takes place roughly five or six years after Season 2. New protagonists are introduced in this one.

- Minecraft: Music Mode

Almost everybody specializes in a certain kind of music, and they use musical powers to fight monsters.

Mario franchise

- Mario & Luigi Rewritten

The Mario & Luigi series rewritten by yours truly in the style of a TV show.

Change is a beautiful thing

Another beautiful day in Alola was about to begin. The cool nighttime air was starting to warm up as the hot rays of the sun began washing over the land. While Zubat and other dark and ghost pokemon began making their way to the cover of nearby caves or just under trees to wait until the next evening, Pikipek and other daytime pokemon began venturing out to start the day to hunt for food. Filling the air with life and noise.

In a room on Poni-Island's resort nestled by the newly built Battle Tree lay two men under the covers together. Champion Trainer Red started to stir once little beams of light landed on their eyes, while Gym Leader Green gave a soft whine, burying his face into Red's chest to hide from the day, "Five more minutes," he grumbled sleepily, tightening his hold on Red to keep him from getting up.

Red gave an amused huff, giving in and letting Green indulge himself for a bit longer under the comfort of the bed and covers. For some reason it made him think to back when they were just about to start their pokemon trainer travels. Back then, it was him that woke up late unless he had an alarm set. He always enjoyed getting as much sleep as he could so he could be energized for the day. A part of him wondered when that changed before Green sighed, moving to look at him, a smile creeping on his face, his eyes sparkling at being indulged in such a way.

He frowned a bit though, he must have caught the last expression Red had and was about to question it before Red shook his head and kissed the other's forehead. Green huffed a bit at him, "Fine, keep your secrets," he said before kissing his cheek, "Morning Red, hope you slept well. Better go get breakfast before the good stuff is gone," he mentioned as Red returned his smile and nodded.

"Ugh, I know there's work to be done, but being in such a warm place makes it feel more like a vacation than work," he grumbled as he moved to get out of bed, Red doing the same and fixing the bed while Green went to wash up first. Pikachu and Eevee had been snuggling together on the little bed that was originally Pikachu's before Eevee just made herself at home beside him.

Another thing that was very different from when they were kids. If anyone had told either him or Green that they would be living and traveling together as a couple, they would have laughed at whoever it was and Green would have called them ridiculous. Even Pikachu and Eevee probably would have huffed at such a suggestion after they started their travels. But now both pairs were inseparable, so much so that Green has to ask for an exception for Eevee to be with him so that she could be with Pikachu, otherwise she would headbutt him for sending her away.

"Hmm? When exactly did we start dating?" Green asked to clarify Red's question as he swallowed his toast.

They were at the cafeteria where people of the Battle Tree ate together before the challenges of the day. Sitting together at a booth where they were out of the way and had a beautiful view outside. The question that Red's hand made had caught Green off guard before he pondered it seriously, his hand idly moving around the rest of his french toast on the plate to soak up the syrup.

"Well, after we met up in Unova, we started mending our relationship since you went to Mt. Silver," Green muttered, doing the math in his head, "We were somewhere in Kalos where you admitted you like me more then a friend, but I needed some time so you went back home. It was then that I realized that I liked you too, I always had and that was a source of jealousy, not of you but for you from how Gramps had always praised you. I finished my studies and came back, but I guess we never really made it official, we just started going out together either to train or study pokemon or work on our duties and one day you just crashed at my place in Viridian and just never left since," he sighed at not being able to pinpoint an exact date for when they started as a couple.

'It's alright, don't be too hard on yourself. I'm no better for having to ask in the first place.' Red assured him after making sure he was looking at him to read his signs, 'All that does matter is that we are together, and we're happy together, right?' he smiled softly at seeing Green become more flustered at all the soft talk. Before he would huff and tell him that it wasn't a big deal when really being soft in public made him anxious so it took some time to get to this point. Sure there were times when Green would practically show Red off and internally Red was flustered, but Green was always so confident and smiling at those times since he was in charge of the situation.

The conversation fell to the wayside as they had to finish and get ready for the day's challenges. During the intervals Red didn't have a battle, he would go to watch Green either in his own battles or just talking with others. Another change he's seen between them though most people wouldn't be able to see it. Green always had a confident air about him, but when he was younger it was overbearing, challenging, and sometimes just downright condescending. He had several enemies because of his personality. Now though, his confidence gives him a sort of sagely air, he was confident in his abilities because of the years of experiences he went through. Giving advice to trainers who ask for it, encouraging them to make their own path through life.

Red meanwhile was always mute. It wasn't that he couldn't talk, it's just that he always had the belief that actions showed more than words could ever convey, probably from his father before he disappeared. Back then he was hyper and ready to take on the world. To explore every nook and cranny, to discover every corner of this pokemon filled world.

And then Team Rocket happened.

Sure, Green had intervened with their plans a couple of times, but Red had sought them out to invoke justice and to help those that Team Rocket had targeted. And that had painted a target on his back.

What really terrified him was what he discovered on Cinnabar Island in the abandoned pokemon mansion. The notes of experiments, and then seeing the product of those experiments in the form of Mewtwo a powerful pokemon that could have easily destroyed the whole of Kanto.

So after the championship, being announced of who he was and where he was from, he couldn't take the thoughts that clouded his mind of Team Rocket finding and using those close to him. His Mom. Green. So he took his team to Mt. Silver in hopes of making himself so strong that no one close to him ever had to be afraid of threats again.

He faced his first defeat after training for three years on the mountain by an ordinary trainer, not even someone from Team Rocket. He had planned on staying even longer to push himself and his team when a Pidgeot brought someone to the top and he suddenly was on the ground, his cheek hurting from a punch by the other boy. Not many would believe that Green Oak, the gym leader who loves to show off how cute Eevee is, was that strong to knock someone else on their behind at the age of fourteen but he was. Green had to literally knock some sense into him to get him to stop hiding and explore the world, rather than just their tiny region of Kanto. So he did just that. Going from region to region to better himself and his pokemon. Learning to reconnect with them as living beings rather than just a fighting team.

His eagerness turned to a questioning silence. The fire in his eyes had tamed. During the first few years he was stiff and cold like he was still on the mountain, but Green had always called him each night to make sure he was doing alright in whatever region he managed to get to.

Now a days he was doing much better. He was more relaxed, but could never be as eager and happy go lucky as he once was. It made him a little sad, yes, but it means that he could always strive to do better at least a little each day, and he knew that with Green with him, it made it all the more worth it.

The day seemed to drag on. Some people mentioning how Red seemed to be distracted. Green heard, but knew better than to try and push when they were working. Once the Battle Tree was closed for the night, Green suggested they take a ride over to Malie Garden after a quick dinner and take some time off the next day. "After all, while we were put in charge of the Battle Tree, we aren't going to be here forever," he pointed out.

Red agreed happily, going with him to have a quick Charizard ride to the island over to get to the garden. They grabbed a take away dinner of malasadas to enjoy on their walk, and it was beautiful. Some of the statues were a bit gaudy in Green's opinion, but Red never really thought of fashion or styles so he was content to listening to him ramble about what would make it look more elegant. They watched some of the pokemon exploring the grass or relaxing by the ponds' edges. Soon, they made it to the pagoda where they sat to enjoy the nice evening air.

Green chuckled a bit as they were sitting, Red raising an eyebrow to him in silent questioning, "Just think about it, right now everyone back home is probably just waking up while everyone here is just getting to sleep. It's just something fun to think about. Then again we'll have to get used to that time zone again when we head back," he explained.

Red nodded, it was true with the time difference being so different. He knew a little Eevee who would be pouty about having to change when she slept again, but he chuckled along with Green at the thought. "Green..." he murmured, and instantly Green's attention was on him since he rarely ever spoke out loud, "We've been through a lot, together and apart. You pushed me to be my best, even if it meant you were overlooked. But, to me, you're the best out of everyone in the world. Sure, I trained a lot, but you had the passion and the skill to enjoy what you did. I became a coward, but you pulled me back into the world. You never let me give up." he said, feeling the pounding in his chest as he spoke so much.

Soon though, he moved to kneel in front of Green, taking his hands in his, "You're charismatic, brave, always willing to learn more. And, I want to see you become so much stronger and happier in both battles and yourself. And, the best way would be this," he said sincerely and quietly, soon taking out a box as green as the one in question's namesake, opening it to show a beautiful engagement ring. The form was simple, but it held beautiful color shifting gems set in the middle so that no side looked the same, showing how beautiful and powerful a small shift of change could be.

Before he could even ask, Green had tackled him to the ground, tears streaming from his eyes as he kissed him, smiling happily as they parted, "Heh, I've been waiting for you to ask, of course I'll marry you," he said, his voice shaking from how emotional he was both from Red's words and his action.

Red laughed lightly, smiling as he held Green close after helping slip the ring over his ring finger, letting him admire it as Red admired him.

Yes, things had changed from when they were kids. And change was a beautiful sight.

pokemon blue, day 14: cinnabar island

(just kidding, neg the fuck outta me, i love that shit.)

what up gay nerds!

so, yeah, cinnabar island is pretty straightforward, and also usually when it super hits that you're in the endgame because you've looped all the way around the world and the only place that's left to go is back through pallet town & viridian city, which i've always thought was a super cool bit of structure in gen 1!

cinnabar island is pretty small. it has a gym, but it's locked when you arrive! it also has a pokemon lab, where you can finally turn in the fossil you got at mt. moon and the old amber you got at the pokemon museum in pewter city to get resurrected into fossil pokemon! i always go with omanyte (i named him nemo), because i think he's cuter:

and your old amber gets you aerodactyl (who i named rodan after the kaiju):

before you can proceed to the gym, you gotta hit up the pokemon mansion, a big burned-up building full of pokemon. you fight a bunch of scientists & burglars in here, and i kept waiting for the burglars to say something sexy & threatening, but nah, they're boring af.

there's a bunch of pokemon to catch here, though!

(yes i caught muk before grimer, i named her amity after the owl house character since she uses abomination magic which looks an awful lot like grimer/muk. also, holy shit, i was already horny for grimer/muk and you had to go & compound that by informing me she has toxic footprints??? rude!)

(i named him phoenix after a pony i rode recently on a trail ride! also, um, uh >.> trample >.>)

(i totally forgot blaine doesn't have a magmar in blue, btw! kinda wild since that charizard/magmar fight in the anime is so iconic.)

(it took me FOREVER to find weezing, but when i'm not gonna keep a pokemon i do prefer catching the evolved form instead of leveling up the pre-evolved form. plus you can level up your other pokemon while you're looking. idk, seems more efficient to me even if it might not be.)

and, yeah! once you make your way through the mansion, you get your grubby little paws on the key to the gym which was hidden in here for some reason, they don't even attempt to give it any kind of story justification it just is lmao. oh and also scattered throughout the mansion are some journal entries about mewtwo & mew, so that's pretty cool. though it's pretty funny that (in the english version, at least) it specifically mentions "south america" in one of them, so i guess "south america" canonically exists in the pokemon world??? you know, you've got kanto, and galar, and alola, and... south america. this is minnesota in the pokemon movie all over again. (... which also featured mewtwo & mew, come to think of it. maybe those two just break the fourth wall by proximity???)

anyway, i ran through blaine's gym pretty easily just using gloria (she knows surf) & ariel, and got myself a volcano badge!

seven down, 1 to go!!!!
