Deadfall Lakes are on the PCT near Mt. Eddy and Castle Crags in Northern California. Mt. Eddy, at 9,037' offers a stunning 360 degree view of Mt. Shasta to the east and the Trinity Alps to the west. Mt. Eddy is about a 4 mile round trip off the PCT.

This photo was taken in late August. Mt. Shasta dominates the background and fire scarred mountaintops the foreground. The middle right is the granitic Castle Crags and middle left is Mt. Eddy with the Trinity Divide in between . . . the route of the PCT as it crosses I-5 and begins its long journey through the Trinity Alps, Russians, Marbles, and the Siskiyous before re-crossing I-5 in southern Oregon.

mmmm buck is the naive young hero who's full of heart and thinks a little bit too much with his muscles sometimes who was separated from his family in mt olympus (maybe maddie is the one waiting for him?? bc the buckleys suck lol) while bobby is the retired, jaded trainer who's lost everything and has no intention of trying to build a life for himself again until buck shows up on his doorstep asking him to teach him how to be a hero. eddie is the sassy, sarcastic meg character who is surprisingly charmed by buck's earnest advances and who secretly sold his soul (to protect chris maybe????) hen, chimney, ravi and lucy are the muses. annnnd idk who would be hades in this instance but, y'know what amy?? i see the vision!!!
