i need there to be more love for argyle strangerthings outside of being the wacky stoner comedy relief. like i love that for him and i think about his hilarious quips all the time but i’m talking like. his attentiveness and eye for detail. his thinking outside the box actually being extremely useful rather than just played off as “haha look at this guy, he’s so dumb and high, he thought they could ride in the baggage compartment!”

like everyone else was crowding around the map trying to figure out if they were lost, and even tho it’s played for laughs like “he’s looking for a small woman” named nina, the dude actually did the smart thing and walked around outside to look for clues. and while everyone else was thinking about where to find a literal bathtub for el, he just went “she just has to fit in it right?” and got them fully set up in 10 seconds at the pizzeria

i seriously always think about that bird feeder (the weeder) he made and how perfectly constructed it was. within 5 minutes of meeting him, we’re shown that the man is good with his hands and has a very keen eye! he’s smart! he knows how to plan! he’s not stupid, and he’s not just tagging along because he got roped into it out of the blue! he actually cares about these people and wants to help and has good ideas!

I used to live right above a club, and it got to the point that I could only fall asleep if there was thumping bass and people cheering below me.

Drabble 84/366 - Doctor Who

This has never been a problem before, but then, the Doctor has never had a companion whose legs were so tiny.

One moment, Amelia is on his heels. The next, he looks back to see her at the end of the hallway. His screwdriver is in one hand, unlocking the door, but she won’t make it.

The Doctor careens back down the hall, screwdriver between his teeth as he scoops her up, and runs.

A bolt of energy clips his ear. He tucks Amelia’s head down.

“You need longer limbs,” he tells her, “or heelys.” Amelia, safe and sound, laughs.
