The word "Nazi" has a specific meaning to normal people, but to vatniks and tankies it has five basic meanings…. Tankie clown: @well1x is either referring to the fact that a lot of the "deaths under communism" listed in "the black book of communism" (which gives us the 10 million number or whatever) are quite literally Nazis in WWII, or they're referring to the fact that the only people who have been made to deliberately suffer under communism have been literal Nazis and fascists (generally speaking)

Joining the tankie cult requires you to live in a delusional clown world and believe in a shit ton of made up (and often contradictory) nonsense that requires a considerable repertoire of mental gymnastics (and lies) to maintain….

@well1x is literally trying to claim that all victims of communism are "nazis and facists" (sic), which - back in the real world - is a very obvious lie. It's also a blatant example of victim blaming. For example, most of the millions of men, women and children who were robbed, raped, imprisoned, sent to the gulags, tortured, starved to death, executed or ethnically cleansed by Stalin's henchmen were not Nazis or fascists, and many were innocent of any crime. The vast majority of the population in Stalin's Soviet Union also had to put up with crippling poverty and backwardness, the brutal suppression of their religious and community life and the total lack of freedom.

Based on his comment, I doubt if the tankie clown has ever read "the black book of communism" and I'm also not sure why he mentions this book in particular, when there are thousands of others that thoroughly document the numerous crimes of the regimes tankies insist on being the useful idiots for, and I think it's safe to assume that he hasn't read any of those books either (in fact, I doubt if he's ever read any book whatsoever)…. Tankie clown: Karina then shows an image of (presumably) some kids in the Ukraine famine. This is completely unrelated though because this famine was not manufactured by the USSR as say the Irish famine was by the English. Can't really attribute natural disaster to "muh communism"

Tankies generally start by saying that the holodomor was Nazi propaganda, and when you debunk that they claim it was just a natural disaster, and when that doesn't work they make up some bullshit about how millions of farmers who barely had enough to live on were wealthy kulaks who burned crops and slaughtered cattle (and therefore deserved to die). And when you point out that the red army actually broke into their homes and confiscated all their grain, every cow or chicken or any other food they had, and that the Soviet authorities blacklisted villages, sometimes purely for containing relatives of Ukrainian independence fighters, and prevented the villagers from leaving, shot them for even collecting ears of grain from the fields, and watched them starve to death - tankies will just deny it, or laugh, or pretend that millions of holodomor victims were all rich landlords (and therefore deserved to die) etc etc….

I've also never seen English people pretending that the Irish famine never happened, or claiming that the victims deserved it, or that it was a good thing, or that Britain should re-conquer Ireland. On the other hand, it's difficult not to notice Stalin's smooth-brained groupies swarming all over social media every day denying or justifying the holodomor and other crimes of Russia and the USSR, and hoping that Russia not only re-conquers Ukraine but also Finland, the Baltics, Poland and other countries it has invaded and occupied in the past.

There's no point trying to reason with tankies using facts, logic or common sense - and appealing to their sense of decency while they're simping for their favourite mass murderers is a complete waste of time. Tankie clown: Karina then says @well1x is defending imperialism(???), defending ethnic cleansing (which …what??), dreaming about labour camps and mass shootings (for Nazis yes plz), and does not do any praxis (based on?).

Yep - most tankie clowns claim to be communists while simultaneously embracing Russian fascism, supporting the imperialism of Russia’s mega-rich ruling class, mindlessly repeating the Kremlin's propaganda and cheerleading their war crimes. These morons seem to have no idea that the Russian Federation is an empire made up of many conquered states that Russia invaded, occupied and colonised in the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, or that Russia's war against Ukraine is a brutal attempt to reassert control over one of its former colonies. Russia's history of imperialism is at least as bad as that of any western country - and they're still doing it in the 21st century.

And I have seen countless examples of tankies speaking openly of wanting to mass murder their ideological enemies (or people they don't like) - because they also delude themselves into believing that if their revolutionary dreams ever came true, they'd be the ones doing the arresting and killing, despite the fact that in a real revolution they'd be about as much use as a fart in a spacesuit. They also have no idea how their small dick energy is somehow going to bring capitalism to its knees, which they'd inevitably end up crying about if it ever actually happened in reality.

Most of them are complete losers who spend the majority of their time sitting in their bedrooms huffing their own farts while reading tankie fan fiction online. Tankie clowns also claim to be against western imperialism and capitalism, despite living comfortable lives in western capitalist countries and owing everything they have to capitalism, including the freedom to use their capitalist smartphones or laptops to post anti-capitalist tantrums on social media platforms owned by western capitalists (thus helping these western capitalists to maximise their profits).

This is generally the sum total of a typical tankie's - ahem - "revolutionary" activity.

The vast majority of tankie clowns wouldn't dream of ever giving up the comforts of capitalism to move to one of the authoritarian shitholes they stupidly simp for, because then they might not be able to play their favourite capitalist video games anymore….

Like.

It's racist to find specific race-related traits (like common stuff for a given ethnicity or race or whatever) attractive and it's also racist to date someone of a different race because What About The Power Imbalance. Which sounds (to me) really similar to "interracial marriage is bad." And ikik I'm speaking from a place of white privelege and I'm open to criticism ab not personally knowing how certain shit works but like. I'm pretty sure the concept of segregating love and marriage is pretty racist. My main question there is why is it ok to find common features from your own race attractive but not another one. And in general I find this weirdly prevalent thing among young leftists where it's immoral *in general* to have a type in dating and sex and whatnot. If you like skinny girls you're feeding into bad beauty standards. If you like fat girls you're a gross evil fetishizer. If you like long hair on a woman you're too traditionalist and if you like short hair you're some strain of chaser and blah blah blah (and vice versa with men).

Or like. Old conservatives think it's bad to marry someone in a different socioeconomic class because muh status purity. But leftists do the exact same shit with talk of power imbalance. Y'all WAY too comfortable imposing strict rules on random people's relationships. Tankies gonna tank I guess.

Or self-proclaimed "leftists" same as conservative evangelicals talking about how sexual or violent (or sexually violent) acts depicted in film, videogames, books, etc. will make you act them out in real life and/or are immoral simply because the depiction is gross or tasteless in their opinion.

Or how any woman is always oppressed by any man, ignoring any intersectional analysis whatsoever about factors other than sex or gender. Conservatives think this should be the case and leftists (usually) claim they think otherwise but both sides seem to forget that sex and gender aren't the end-all-be-all of the oppressive hierarchies in society.

Or the whole "I got mine" rhetoric where, even with the supposedly more tolerant and open-minded left, that leftism and seeking of progress stops as far as it doesn't personally affect you or your circles. You know, like conservatives. "What's the point in defending psych survivors or paraphiles or youth or other people who it's socially accepted to hate and/or harm?" Do you hear yourself. Do you hear how lazy you sound and how quick you are to jump on the bus to throw other groups under. Leftists fought and still fight for your right to exist as a queer person and your right to be of an ethnicity that isn't the majority in politics or in your country and your right to being treated fairly in the workplace and you won't fight? You think the tide of progress is done? You jump on the bandwagon now to scream at people you hate for being too weird and too different and bad but believe you me; progress has Already Lost the moment vulnerable groups are allowed to be acceptable targets to wipe out, imprison, assault, abuse, etc. It's not a slippery slope fallacy; it's written in ink and blood- the blood on EVERYONE'S hands for letting it happen. They're writing in official documents who they're going to come for one by one. You let them take an inch, they'll take a mile. They'll come for you and yours too, you can fucking count on it. "Left" nowadays is synonymous with moderate. Nothing too crazy, of course the gays are fine but god forbid someone identifies as catgender or some shit; they should definitely be treated badly lol. This definitely won't come back to bite me in the ass.

There are so many parallels you can draw between political ideologies once you realize all people have some serious history to read up on and reflection to do. And it's hard to blame the ignorant ones who DO want to do the right thing but we have to stay alert, stay angry, stay willing to change ideas and reimagine movements. Sometimes some blame needs to be placed. But the reason it's hard to blame is because we are all so busy trying to survive in such an unfair and brutal world that most people don't have the time and privelege to spend doing the research and inner work to stay on top, to really understand politics and how important they are to how we live our lives. They say we have a CHOICE in how the machine runs but we are the ones made to run it, and are any of us actually given the ability to make those choices fully informed? There is no break from it; from work, from war, from death and chaos and division. And even if there was, we're so heavily propagandized and all cogs in machines.

But even if you don't get it yet, if you don't have time to actively pursue the research and all that, you have to TRY to be the best you can be. You can't take time off work to flesh out your life, let alone your political knowledge. That's ok. I know. No blame there, and if there is it's on your boss, it's on the way things are. But when someone comes to you you gotta use those critical thinking skills and try to do good by people. Don't turn the other cheek. Don't accept certain forms of oppression believing that if this is allowed they won't come for you instead. Don't be coming after easy targets. Just take a breath, think how you'd feel if you were that person, and be kind. Choose to be different, to extend your sympathy even to those you don't like. There is no such thing as a world without people you don't like. Look past yourself and always be willing to learn and change. Even if you don't have the ability to facilitate that on your own; life will give you many situations where you can choose how you act. Choose wisely, because what you do matters.

Three hours into tyranny, my thoughts

This is going to be one of those games where I love everything about it except the actual game [combat/trap-finding/looting/mechanically party comp] isn't it

I'm painfully aware that most people who like rpgs seem to enjoy messing around with six inventory slots for every party member na dhaving each of them be absolutely vital for mechanical effectiveness, and either looting every barrel or spending six hours in the crafting minigame be a necessary part of the game. Every single rpg in existence caters to them, after all. But my god do I not get it.

The conquest minigame in character creation was perfect, and loving ow muh it's getting called out/effecting how people react to me.

Since you're literally working for the cartoonishly evil overlord some heroes failed to stop, very much approve of the fact that your party members have a 'fear' bar next to their loyalty one.

Probably going Scarlet Chorus for now since they seem like more fun/we're just choosing between flavors of horrible oppressive evil here. RPing a conscripted lawbreaker whose happy to brownnose to superiors but mostly is just a self-interested little shit with a terrible sense of humor.

The thing about free speech is it's nowhere close to being a "universal value" or "human right" or whatever bullshit libs make it out to be. It's quite literally philosophical wank produced by the intelligentsia of a couple of Western European, colonizing, slaveholding empires less than 300 years ago, was spread around the world at gunpoint, has never been actually implemented or protected by any of the bourgeoisie governments that claim to espouse it, and more often than not has been used for the purposes of spreading bourgeoisie propaganda and soft power and suppressing working class, colonized, and oppressed populations. I've seen lots of communists try to wriggle out of "but muh freedom of speech" sealioning from libs when the honest answer is free speech has never actually existed and doesn't matter.

I really shouldn't be so afraid to post this, but this one post has bothered me enough to the point where I just had to rant about it. I won't be surprised if this post results in a lot of followers dumping my ass. There's another controversial rant post I'm gonna make soon, so I guess this is a good enough warm-up.

It does take a lot of mental gymnastics to make "Rules for thee, not for me" sound justifiable.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Also, I don't think that equity is working out very well right now with the race-bent Snow White.

Side-note: Snow White's fucking name comes from the in-story explanation: "skin as white as snow". But that's not something we should respect right!

Just imagine the number of hopeful girls who would've been honored to have been chosen for the role of Disney's first-ever princess and would have shown so much more respect for the role and the story than this. I'd hope the social brownie points were worth it, but most people are actually seeing this lady for what she truly is.

Hell, the bigger problem nowadays is how most Disney Princesses are being given the same feminist story beats, being strong independent women who don't need no man and are also total girl bosses. Sure, just gut out the story in the name of "progression". And slowly make the Disney Princesses a "progressive" hive mind.

Also, there's the whole Nani controversy that really shows how skewed the priorities are of everyone who advocates for blackwashing established white characters.

Nani being dark-skinned isn't crucial to the story, though. Her actress is still a native Hawaiian, which is objectively the more important representative aspect of casting in a movie set in Hawaii with Hawaiian culture being heavily featured.

Look, personally I'd advocate for casting people who actually look like the characters they're portraying if these live-action remakes must be a thing.

But clearly the Hollywood execs don't agree. So this casting doesn't bother me. If anything, I find it hilarious - especially after seeing everyone throw a hissy fit over this. It showcases their hypocrisy, as these are the same people who were all "CHANGING ARIEL'S SKIN COLOR DOESN'T MATTER YOU BIGOTS". On top of that, these people are actually wishing harm on this actress, solely over her skin color.

Let me guess, though. It isn't really racism if colored people oppress and threaten and harm white people, right? By this logic, it's just a matter of ~equity~ that fair-skinned folk are subjected to the same prejudice. For fuck's sake.

Nah, let's just normalize the concept that no one can relate to a character unless said character looks just like them. Let's encourage kids to embrace narcissism and refuse to find commonalities in characters that don't physically resemble them in any way.

Because apparently it doesn't matter that I can't see myself and my mother in Tiana, even though her driven, workaholic underdog story resonates with us. But because we're not black, we're not allowed to feel a kinship. It's inconceivable for a little girl to feel that she, for what she is on the inside, can relate to a Disney Princess that she shares no physical traits with.

Maybe I'm just crazy for believing we should focus more on who we are than what we are. Maybe I'm a monster for discouraging indulgence in narcissistic behavior. Am I a bigot for rolling my eyes every time I hear a cry for "MUH REPRESENTATION"?

I like to think I'm not. But society is so heavily fucked in so many ways these days. So much that I'm actually afraid to post this publicly.

But I shouldn't be afraid to speak my mind when I see bullshit being glorified. So I'm gonna give my piece, come what may.

Again, all things actively used by TERFs to spread their worldview. A common fear is seen in them. This fear is often fueled by media coverage of cases of violence or abuse perpetrated by individuals who identify as trans, and by the portrayal of trans activism as a totalitarian movement that seeks to silence dissent and impose a new orthodoxy. A lie, but one that is widespread (Again, setting the stage for recruitment)

I fucking hate this "Wheelchairs in D&D" nonsense.

And no, it's not your knee-jerk assumption of "Gur, me no like cripples", it's because they're an absurd solution to an already solved problem, and the only reason you might have for making a fuss about this is because you value your self-centered obsession with being some kind of oppressed class more than making fun, inventive, world enriching details to support your character design.

"Oh no, my character can't walk! However shall I overcome this conundrum?" you exclaim. Before you appear 5 items.

A wheelchair. A sturdy wooden frame with 2 large wheels to the rear and 2 smaller wheels at the front to guide the contraption. This solution is anachronistic and is hindered by it's reliance on the laws of physics. Thanks to you choosing this, either the Evil Wizards tower has to have an elevator, a massive spiral ramp all the way up the inside of the tower, or a series of teleportation circles/portals just so you can get around. Now all caves have to have perfectly smooth, obstruction-less passages and/or your character needs a strength score high enough to haul yourself around on ropes constantly to traverse the uneven and dangerous terrain. Now in all melee combat situations, you have to either fight one-handed so you can maneuver your chair or stay stationary (unless you've built up some kind of momentum) to swing two-handed weapons or fire bows.

Or 2, 3, 4 and 5. A Lesser Broom of Flying, A Lesser Carpet of Flying, A Lesser Cauldron of Flying, Literally just an enchanted Chair.

All of which are fine in any Fantasy setting, add some built in lore for the setting, add interesting flavor to your character and all of which don't get stuck in the mud.

The "Lesser" label can easily just be added to the story with: "Yeah, the Wizards College sells them cheap because they're just practice work for the students while learning enchantments and how to make a proper ________ of Flying." And the difference would be that the Lesser version just moves at typical walking speed, can move at running speed for short bursts, can be upgraded, either by your character or some other low level Wizard with a focus on enchantments, and as an added bonus can provide a limited form of Feather Fall.

The Broom could be best for those with difficulty walking or just general mobility limitations, the Cauldron could be for full waist down immobility, and the Carpet can just conform to your body and carry you around even if you're just straight up fully paralyzed.

And hell, the Enchanted Chair can just have legs that move along and walk for you like a riding animal.

And now I just remembered that Riding Animals and feats related to Riding Animals are a thing, so that's a 6th option!

The point I'm trying to make is that wheelchairs are literally the least logical, least imaginative and least functional option anyone could have possibly came up with and you and I both know the only reason it's even an option to begin with is because of "Muh Diversity".

You're so right about rightoids being less tolerant about feminists and generalizing them all as man hating and insane just because of the posts and blogs of some eternally online ones, but being all "not all trad men!!1!" when it comes to self id trad men being degenerate bigots. And the latter are much more dangerous because they actually go out of their ways to find young girls they can prey onto young and form families to push their racist and insane agendas while the former usually stay away from men (and sometimes the world due to their hikkikomori like existence lbr).

I think it's simply ideology bias since these guys are right wing while most feminists are left leaning (and the few who aren't usually define themselves as political orphans). It kinda reminds me of the time when it was super common for trads to post stuff like "there's nothing more dangerous than a male feminist" usually with the implication of them being predators. And i'm not saying some aren't, but it was quite the spectacle seeing right wing men make these posts demonizing male feminists and other left leaning males, seeing trad/right wing women being like "SO true king" and then seeing these same rightoid males be like "women expire past age 25. If you're not married by 22 you're going to be a lonely cat hag. Men have to take control of their relationships and women have to submit. I want a 18 year old bride I can impregnate and keep locked at home. Modern women are degenerate whores". Like these men kept on showing these women they didnt consider them equals and worthy of respect yet these women thought the left leaning males (whom they usually dont even interact with) were the actual threats. Alright then.

Right wing women can be strange. I just saw one basically defeding right wing men misogyny because of those darned feminists. She said that after so many decades of feminists demonizing men and hating on them, it wasnt surprising men started harboring hatred towards women. As if men havent hated and oppressed and killed and raped women for much longer than feminism even got a name. I can't legitimately think of man feeling threatened by misandry in their everyday life beside virtual shit going on the internet that wouldn't affect their life if they didn't have a persecution complex to feed and a life. Men don't think twice before going out because of misandrists potentially raping them... Women don't have that privilege...

Oh and I can't be the only one to notice how full of shit white conservative are when it comes to acknowledge rape culture. They will mock every single woman coming up with a rape story and how they're just making it up and how it's not that much of a deal......... until the alleged rapist is not White 🤡 Suddenly those scrotes will pretend caring abt women and turn themselves as the biggest feminists somehow, and go as far as to clown feminists lack lf reaction be like wHeRe aRe tHe fEmIniSts?? 🤪 Or mock White women feeling guit over "snitching" on their non White rapists, as if those White conservatives didn't have the biggest issue with calling out rapists when they come from their own side (i.e lately Russel Brand). They are so freaking hypocrital and I really wish they'd be called out more for that.
