A small pokemon brain rot

Because I have been playing pokemon again and I want some place to store some headcanons >.<

Dream is not very adept in the whole pokemon trainer thing, which is understandable as he only wants to spend his day with his pokemon.

Dream is however strong accidentally/unknowingly because his pokemon has maxed out friendship and hence very protective.

Dream's first pokemon is Patches the Eevee.

Dream gifted Eevee to his closest friends as Eevee of friendship!

Sapnap is very into competitive pokemon and aim to be the champion one day.

Dreamnap are childhood friends. Unbeknownst to Dream, Sapnap wants to be strong to protect Dream because he saw him getting bullied one time when they are young.

Sapnap's ace is his speed boosted Blaziken.

George doesn't care about battling but has considerably higher knowledge about pokemon than Dream so Sapnap likes to challenge him.

George is a menance and will utilise pokemon's ability to make your life difficult. He doesn't have any intention to be the champion however.

He is a nature in research. But he can be found sneaking off to sleep most of the times much to the annoyance of the professor.

Bad is the professor of the region and Sap's parent. Rumor said that he lost Skeppy in a mysterious crystal cave that vanished just as suddenly as it appeared. He has been working on finding the cave ever since.

Techno is the champion rumored to be blessed by Victini. Dream is an avid fan which irks Sapnap.

Techno is actually Dream's childhood friend before he moved away. He still remembers Dream fondly but social anxiety prevents him from initiating a conversation for fear that Dream has forgotten him.

Dream doesn't remember Techno due to a freak accident that lead to him moving away.

Phil owns a murder of crow pokemon, ranging from Corviknight to Mukrow. He is a bird whisperer.

This is getting long, I might add more when I feel up to it, but feel free to tell me what you think! What pokemon would fit them? Would you like to see Pokemon choice for Dream of other AU?

Catechism Pokemon AU

Explanations below :)

Yun & Hisuian Zorua, Hisuian Typhlosion, Mukrow

Hisuian Zorua: a ghost Pokemon that's actually the resentful soul of a normal Zorua who died and now haunts the living 😭💀 in this au, Zorua was actually Xuan's pokemon, but when she died, it also died, but out of grief. Its spirit shows up as Hisuian Zorua, and it's basically this au's equivalent of Xuan haunting Yun in the comic. My idea is that Yun kind of takes it in, but his relationship with it is complicated for a while, because it actually starts out full of resentment towards Yun for allowing Xuan to die.

Hisuian Typhlosion: it purifies lost, forsaken souls and guides them peacefully to the afterlife. When Xuan died, it came to guide her soul to the afterlife, but then noticed Yun and was like "bro isn't even dead but his soul is already pretty lost" and decided to stick around. Also for the Zorua as well. So it's actually a wild Pokemon that just decided to hang out because it sensed that the rest of the gang were going through it LOL Also, I think the wispiness of the fire really matches the smoke that we associate with Yun

Murkrow: the only pokemon that's actually Yun's! Murkrow are shunned by humans bc they're seen as a source of misfortune, and being seen as a subhuman vermin really fits Yun's aesthetic <3 So my idea is that they just bumped into each other one day and decided to stay together, because nobody else really cares about them LOL

Also, its evolution is Honchkrow - it's basically a mafia boss crow who commands gangs of Murkrow. and I think this progression fits Yun eventually becoming the leader of the next revolution, because both if being the head of some sort of illegal underground group :D

Gumang & Zekrom

ok so firstly I think Zekrom really matches the very intimidating powerful black-haired dictator aesthetic LOL it's so menacing!

But that aside, it's the dragon of ideals, and it's awoken by and serves heroes who desire to build an ideal world. Gumang was a visionary who a lot of people consider to have bettered the country, so his strong ideals would have awoken Zekrom! It was his partner during his revolution, and is still his partner now as he rules over the regime.

AND!!! Zekrom's counterpart, Reshiram, is the dragon of truth, and a big theme of the games they're in is how it's *not* black and white and how you can't have one without the other. You can't chase ideals blindly while ignoring truth, but you also can't narrow-mindedly focus on truth without having ideals. But Zekrom represents pure ideals without truth, which might be why it continues to serve Gumang and his regime even though it's far from perfect. Gumang created it out of his ideals, and continues to do so, ignoring the ugly truth that now exists.

(in another time, it might have served Yun instead)

The sun carefully set behind the mountainous cliffs that towered around the lands. A few Mukrows took to the air, alongside the new appearance of Gastly and Drifloons. It was becoming the perfect time of day for a ghost-type to thrive. You sighed as you stirred the soup. Hopefully, your ghost-type husband would be home soon then. His work kept him a bit busy, especially juggling both his duties as a Warden and his new one's in helping Team Galaxy. You should have still been doing it yourself, but you had decided to take a break. Most people were not surprised after you had married the Warden that you had, but plenty still wanted you to work through it. Professor Laventon had been extremely understanding, thankfully.

The door slid open as the silver-haired man wandered in. His flame flickered with a certain slowness that would be concerning. Ingo held a distaste for taking life energy, viewing it as cruel. He especially refused to do it to any Pearl Clan members. You occasionally got him to take a little from you, but he was extremely hesitant. The door was closed with the chill of the air being back outside once more. His coat was slid off his shoulders alongside taking off his cap. Both were carefully laid down. The shimmer of the fireplace and the illumination from his flames were the only lights left in the room as the sun fully departed from the sky.

“You're home late,” you finally speak to him as you scoop some soup into a bowl, “I missed you, Ingo.” He sighed as he sat next to you, warmth radiating from him pleasantly. His head moved to rest on your shoulder. “I missed you as well,” the Warden replied, “Must the people of Jubilife be so suspicious of hybrids? I have done nothing to draw their ire, yet they act as if I come in and devour their souls every night.” Ah, yes. Jubilife's known distaste for hybrids rears its head again. While the clans of Hisui held hybrids in much higher regard, the new arrival of Team Galaxy proved to have its difficulty. Their long-held beliefs that hybrids were lesser and more akin to pokemon rather than humans often led to fear and attacks towards them.

It reminded you a bit of home.

The home that was far, far away from here in both time and space.

A home that Ingo could not even remember.

He had even forgotten that your souls had been connected, apologising when you tried speaking to him through it. You were mistaken for a soul he accidentally ate and forgot to finish. Of course, you were not. When you finally met face-to-face again, Ingo was suddenly overcome with forgotten emotion. You were held tightly to him. A quiet promise was made to keep you at his side. His lack of memories about his past was a difficult thing to work around, but you managed to for the most part. Certain topics were avoided for his own safety. You deeply wanted to tell him about his younger twin, yet you knew that would only stress him out more than anything else. His cared deeply for his brother, and to learn that he abandoned his twin into a place that you were both unsure that you could even return from would be something you did not wish upon him.

“… You would say something similar when you returned from work back home,” you told him, pressing a hand to his head, “At least here you're more respected. Being a Warden in a sacred thing, after all. Not everyone can do it.” He yawned and nodded. “I'm fully aware that I have taken on a sacred duty,” Ingo moved away to look you in the eyes, “What concerns me is how they speak of you. Why must you be called names for loving a hybrid? In the Pearl Clan, marrying a hybrid is seen a normal thing, yet in Jubilife.” You sighed. It was not different in Unova. People would side-eye you and call you names for daring to take on a hybrid as a boyfriend. Something as evil as a Chandelure, too. No one could see the sweet, doting man that Ingo was for the flames that could burn souls.

“Who cares?” you replied, “I love you; nothing can or will change that.” He smiled at you with gentle eyes, a soft lidded-ness taking over as his flames flickered softly. “And I love you,” he rested his forehead to yours, “Thank you for staying with me through all of this, dearest.”

“I would stick with you through more,” you returned, “You're my husband, Ingo. Our souls are literally connected.” A small piece of purple flame burned within your soul, while a bit of your own remained with Ingo's flames. Calloused hands cupped your cheeks as his lips pressed against yours.

After your rest, you would continue your search to return home.

Ingo deserved to see his brother again, and you wished to continue improving Unova's hybrid opinion alongside the older twin.

RWBY Pokemon HC Pt.1 JNPOR

Here are my pokemon headcannons involving RWBY characters, since I was picking up Scarlet again after a few months, since the DLC was coming out soon.

All feedback, reposts, blogs, and comments are welcomed.

Jaune Arc: Honedge (Aegislash), Frigibax (Baxcalibur), Shieldon/Bastiodon, and Audino

Honedge he caught because his family prided themselves on sharp blades, but when he was young, he stumbled upon a Frigibax that was also being bullied and saved it. Shieldon though was a family gift, because of the shield and sword. Audino he found in the wild while he was traveling with Ruby and the gang. Ren was the one that suggested he catch it.

All of his pokemon were in their second evolutions, but it wasn't until he was fighting Neo and the gaurds, that Baxcalibur fully evolved when they were protecting Oscar and the relic.

Nora Valkryie: Dedenne, Tinkatink(Tinkaton), Axew(Haxarous), and Mimikiyu

Dedenne was one of her first pokemon when she was all alone, she found it on a late rainy night. Tinkatink she found when she was first learning to use the hammer, and thought that it would the most perfect partner. Axew came along when thought that it was an axe.

Mimikiyu she found when she was in Atlas after the lightening scar indicdent, where her Tinkaton also gained scars from. The Mimikiyu tried to attack her, but after seeing her kindness, decided to stay with her.

Pyrrha Nikos: Golett(Golurk), Skarmory, Blissey, and Falinks

Golett was the first pokemon she ever caught, while Blissey was a pokemon she hatched from an egg she earned as a gift. Skarmory she caught at Beacon, while Falinks was a pokemon that saw her armor and thought she was one of them, and just followed her eveywhere. After she died, her pokemon went to her mother, but when Jaune returned and visited her statue her mother handed over Falinks, believing that was the pokemon he needed the most.

Falinks would be the pokemon that helped him with some of the quiet, and help to ease the grief.

Oscar Pine: Skiddo(Gogoat), Chespin(Chestnaught), Phantump(Treveant), and Swinnub(Mammoswine)

Skiddo was born on the farm and that was the one that Oscar wanted, even though it had a broken horn and the leaves were miscolored. It wouldn't evolve until they fought Hazel, and Ozpin thought to command the creature, but Skiddo rebelled and disobeyed all of Ozpin's orders.

Chespin was a gift from JNR, thinking that he didn't have a pokemon, until they met Skiddo when Osacar was playing with it. Phantump was encountered when Oscar was first traveling to get to Qrow, while he was alone with Ozpin in his head, the ghost tree was just wandering about the woods, and Oscar thought it was cute. It evolves into Treveant when Oscar loses to Ironwood and his falling, it escaped from its ball to help break his fall with the help of Chesnaught.

Swinub was found when Oscar was wandering Mantel, and found the abused creature.

Lie Ren: Shiftry, Honchcrow, Musharna, Chimchar(Inferape)

Ren had a struggle gaining a pokemon, since most distanced themselves from him due to the aura he gave off.

But he stumbled on a seedot, who didn't sense anything wrong with him. Mukrow would follow soon after when Ren steals food from it. Musharna floated after him, sensing that he understood emotions and feelings. Chimchar was found in the snowy Argus night, thinking that the pokemon was a sign of the future.

Thinking about how not-jazzed I am about Honchkrow and have, over the course of today, come to the realization that I can just..... make something up for Mukrow to evolve to that I actually like. Just for funsies. Branching evolutions exist already, this isn’t a wild stretch of a concept. I’d have to make one for Misdreavus as well because they’re a pair, of course.

I don’t think I’ve made a Pokemon-fakemon since... oh god... unless I’m forgetting something, probably like pre-digital art for me? Like... eight years old?? (For whatever reason it’s never appealed to me the way Digimon-fakemon have, to do it myself. Always liked other peoples’.)

I’m kind of excited. I have Ideas.

Hiii so I just moved from Johto to Alola and I was just wondering what some of the differences there might be in Pokémon that are found in both regions? Like are there any behavioral differences in Murkrow?

The Murkrow in Alola are a lot more inclined to live in or visit cities and towns than those in Johto. In Alola Mukrow tend to be disliked, but in Johto that dislike has been taken to the point the line no longer travel outside the forests during the day.

In Alola, Murkrow treated like a local Pidgey in Kanto or Johto

Have you heard about Team Rocket's Meowth and how he can speak? If he can talk then does that mean any pokemon can learn too?

I want to preface this with the fact that the tv show is fake and has a lot of misconceptions in it, as well as just flat-out fake facts.

That being said, most pokemon can be seen learning how to say some simple words and phrases, but with the exceptions of psychic-types, some ghost-types, the zorua line, the mukrow line, and chatot, there's not a high chance you'll be able to keep a fully human language conversation with a pokemon. Most pokemon aren't going to learn a full human language.
