I rewatched txf Dreamland pt. I and II yesterday on a whim and it's one of the most stupidly romantic x files ep ever. like, the longing once scully knows mulder is bodyswapped. the fucking longing. the unspoken tragedy of them thinking this is irreversible and they've lost their chance forever. neither of them willing to say it but both understanding it. scully taking advantage of the - merely virtual - physical barrier created by the bodyswap to say she'd kiss mulder; her tone like it's not a joke, but rather a rare bit of honestly she's letting them have, because it's safe to-- because it can't happen right then, because of a paper-thin excuse. all this while morris is being a huge misogynist and general pain in the ass, which. the whiplash. and scully's speech about them always being in the car, always moving and searching and never stopping - how it ties into txf's (un)intentional discourse on heteronormativity wrt mulderscully-- always having them play with the concept of dis/avowing it, keeping them at the edge of it but always from the perspective of someone cut off from it, on the outside looking in from an alien pov

I got ChatGPT to write fanfic and I feel this should put writers at ease about AI because it...sucks. Being a perv I kept trying to prompt it to write a sex scene and it REFUSES – anyways. Here it is LOL:
