An Oz oc I’ve been developing! Her name is Mumble the Ragdoll with Shoe-button-eyes.

In a little story where the Oz party embarks on a journey through a land made from fabric, they meet gentle Mumble. She is a large, friendly doll filled with cotton and a broken heart. When she and Dorthy cross paths, she is disheveled and pained.

“My dear friend Bosco is missing! I haven’t seen hide nor hair of his lovely blue coat in days… my poor heart had broken in his absence, I’m so sorry I’m such poor company…”

Dorthy finds value in her despite her malaise, she makes a great guide through the quilted prairies. She too has a kind nature and wishes the best for her comrades, especially since they want to help find the toy dog Bosco.

“Never mind your sadness,” Dorothy says, “a broken heart is a powerful thing. The kindness you have shown us speaks more than the tears that stain your frock.”
