Xisuma found Mumbo as a stowaway on his ship. The man was clearly a noble, dressed in finery and offering jewellery for a place on X's crew. X took a chance on him. Though it was hard for Mumbo to adapt at first, he eventually found a place in Xisuma's rag-tag crew. He helps maintain their weaponry and comes up with new inventions. One of them was a rudimentary motor, helping to raise the anchor faster in emergencies!

Xisuma finds himself drawn to Mumbo's earnest enthusiasm. He's always willing to learn to protect the crew, even if he isn't the best in a fight. He's taken to a life on the sea as if he was born for it. Only a few of the crew know of his origins, those who were there when Mumbo joined.

He doesn't make the first move on Mumbo until one of his crew insist that the guy is into X. He'd feel awful if Mumbo felt forced to date him! But Mumbo is overjoyed in his nervous way, rambling about how cool Xisuma is. Mumbo doesn't move into the captain's quarters, but he spends the occasional night there. To be fair, most of the crew do, X hates the idea of him being more 'special'. But the rest of them don't share a bed with the captain.

It's one of those nights that Mumbo laments about the arranged marriage he was forced into. How the family of his fiancee was just as awful as she was. He couldn't stand a life being forced into social engagements and looking pretty! He wanted to actually do things, to live.

Xisuma doesn't bring the idea up until a few weeks later, but Mumbo is all for it when he does. The crew collect together buckets upon buckets of paint. Mumbo figures out some pressurised tools that can use. Then, one night, they slink under the cover of darkness to the estate Mumbo used to call home, and coat as much as they possibly can in bright colours. Mumbo leaves a personalised message for his family on one of the walls, laughing at the sight.

Mumbo glows as they leave port at sunrise. Xisuma thinks he's beautiful.

Hmm thinking about mumsuma with dom sadist Xisuma who really enjoys absolutely ruining “naughty” hermits. So you can only imagine his joy when he has mumbo (who caused lag issues again) knelt before him (again) - X does treat him at first - starting with gripping at mumbo’s hair and face fucking him. Then it’s the overstimulation. They both agreed earlier that no matter how much mumbo cries and begs - X won’t stop, not until mumbo’s voice is shot and he’s putty in X’s hands. Then its a nice bath

God, He's all nice and caring as a front but as soon someone's been/being "naughty" on the server, he changes. His rules are put in place for a reason, and when they're are broken, at first he deals with slight annoyance on having to do actual admin stuff and not his own builds, but then a sick realisation that he can have a lot of fun "punishing" the naughty hermit...

Of course, he negotiates everything in a very formal-unsexy way (consent is always sexy, he's just a nerd lol) before starting a scene.

and afterwards, bath! Baths are just the perfect form of aftercare <333 and warm close afterwards <333

Ohoho thank you anon! Well I'll be a bit vague for starters because I'm still marinating it in my mind.

It's much as a sequel as any of my works go (the second chapter of Sweet Jungle literally has references to both Iskall's Garden Bed entry and Marketing Strategies (≧▽≦)), but it is gonna focus more on that good MumSuma dynamic.

Gonna take place in the good old BIBB, some nether portal shenanigans, and some... structures a pesky little bird once made (not the messaging track lol). We're gonna focus on reciprocation. X is gonna be a bit more >:) which is saying a lot given how >:) X already was in Sticky Hands.

Mhmm mhmm what else. Mmm vague ( ꈍᴗꈍ). I guess that's the keyword isn't it? Reciprocation

Mmm you know what I've noticed though? We've always made references to spicy Grumbo happenings but its always off-screen. If Sticky Hands 2 pans out we could make a Grumbo flavoured prequel seeing as Grian's the reason we have plot for it in the first place (ㆁωㆁ)

X would totally go to the beach, but. Uhm. How is he supposed to say this? He's kind of.. he might just be an enderman. Ahah, why'd you think he was so tall huh? But, he can't really say no now, especially when Mumbo is pulling him to the ocean. Uh oh.

He touches the water and ends up on the other side of the beach, perched on a high rock like a scared cat. After a lot of confused staring and incoherent noises, Xisuma is finally able to explain the situation to Mumbo.

Mumbo laughs, sounding both hysterical and amused. Suddenly a lot of things make sense! He should've just said something.

Now they need to find another hermit to get him off that rock.

Okay, but an Idea:

Mumbo is on the run for committing a crime and he needs to steal a ship. His network of friends point him to a hacker in the area. Xisuma. Normally, his prices are too steep for Mumbo, but this time is price is an exit route. He wants to travel with Mumbo.

You decide where it goes from there.

Mumbo looks at Xisuma when he had said that, and ask if he would really want to throw away what he has and Xisuma says that he’ll do anything to get away

Mumbo isn't a killer, he swears. He didn't realise it was a permadeath world he was in when it happened. It was an accident anyway. Surely he can just go back to hermitcraft and hope no one will ever find out, right? *Wrong.* The admin always finds out if his players have done something wrong and Xisuma is a damn good admin. He's also a very forgiving person, so if a few diamonds to the right people make the entire incident vanish, who's to point fingers at him and his players? X doesn't even tell mumbo what he's done, asking the man out on a date is payment enough.

Though Mumbo doesn’t understand why his hand had twitched and craves to harm others. Why he was fascinated with blood after, but the C kisses him and he completely melts and forgets about the itch to kill

Mumbo was forced into a lot of fancy clubs by his parents as a kid. Robotics, piano, jujitsu, chess, debate, and track. He hated all of them and thought them all a waste of his time. But he's grown a new appreciation for them as he uses each skill to flirt with a different hermit.

Building circuits with Iskall, playing piano while grian sings, surprising everyone and pinning doc in a fight, beating Xisuma in chess, debating with Joe, and racing Ren all give him a connection he never would have made otherwise.

He hated his clubs but his 6 partners made of it worth it.

Is he going to admit that to his parents though

Steampunk AU.

Wels/Iskall, Hels/Grimdog, Grian/Ren/Doc, Mumbo/Xisuma, ZIT/Ex

Wels is a ship captain, his right hand being his brother Hels (don'tmind the grumpy man. He's just paranoid).

Iskall is a hitman hired to take out Wels who had been causing problems for smugglers. Upon fighting Wels 1 on 1 he lost. When he failed, the people who hired him tried to kill him, but Wels saved him. He didn't understand why though

Doc is a medic on Wels' ship, and thus Iskall is now a cyborg.

ZIT, Grian, Ren, Mumbo, and Grimdog were part of a smugglers ring, but their ship had been attacked and they were stranded out at sea, with the corpses of their crewmates.

Wels finds the ship and recognized the pirate flag, but was weary of an attack, only to find the ruffled and beat up remains of the crew. He decided to offer them an out. Join him and help stop criminals, and they won't be arrested. Either way they'll be well taken care of while with him. They decided to join to avoid jail, and soon bonded with others.

Ex and Xisuma are higher ups. They hear rumors about Wels and decide to incognito get aboard, and discover a lot, but find they actually really like the crew, and so they decide, we'll just, officially join Wels.

They now go around the sea, solving crimes and catching criminals at each town they stop in and the ocean waves.

Like Mumbo and Xisuma get paired up for a spy mission to a local warehouse rumored to be used to hold drugs, specifically aphrodisiacs, by a local mafia. One of em accidentally knocked some over though, got covered and oh woah is they, they vehemently make out or whatever else like animals. Thankfully they discover the whole place was empty.

Later to discover it was just harmless deoderant powder, and the whole place was a decoy- or maybe the locations got switched up? Who knows but when the plan-givers talking the two are beetred they were caught by such a placebo...both of their own equal volition to live out a fantasy of messing around with their partner in law, but neither will admit that.

Until they accidentally find some more aphrodisiacs of course. Idiots. - 💎
