resumo: quem diria que após vinte anos da sua primeira filha, o casal gerritson teria a segunda? por ser uma gravidez tardia, era de risco e sua mãe teve que se afastar do trabalho no FBI para que a pequena pudesse vir ao mundo. sempre fora o raio de sol dentro de casa, mas sabia desde cedo o seu lugar no mundo. seguindo os passos da irmã mais velha, ingressou no colégio militar, seguido de quântico e logo após, um cargo bom dentro do FBI. sua carreira girou em torno daquilo, por anos. o seu único relacionamento também veio de dentro da academia, porém as coisas pareceram desandar tudo na mesma época. a negativa para um cargo que almejava, um término e uma mudança para uma ilha nova. aceitou apenas porque era a vontade dos pais. até hoje se arrepende, pois a saudade que sente deles é enorme. em compensação, existe a irmã, qual ela é apegada. em windham, conseguiu o cargo de investigadora chefe e sabe que vai ter que batalhar se quiser mantê-lo.

renée fora o bebê milagre dos gerritsen. concebida muitos anos após a agatha, primeira filha do casal, a mais nova teve que lutar, antes mesmo de nascer, para que pudesse vir ao mundo. a gravidez de sua mãe era de risco, tanto que a mulher teve que se afastar de suas funções dentro do FBI para que conseguisse manter a gravidez. e mesmo após o nascimento, a criança loira e de olhos claros não parou de lhe dar dores de cabeça. talvez fosse pela idade já avançada de seus pais; talvez não estivessem mais acostumados a ter uma criança dentro de casa, mas o que diziam era que a pequena renée era a criança mais agitada que já viram - e eles tinham razão. a energia que despendia brincando e aprontando nos anos iniciais era única, tinha propensão a se machucar com facilidade, que lhe gerou a maioria das cicatrizes atuais e a condicionou uma postura mais séria, anos mais tarde. contudo, sua inspiração maior sempre fora a primogênita dos gerritsen.

o apego que tem pela irmã é singular, vê nela uma das maiores inspirações e, adicionado ao fato de vir de uma família de agentes, renée ingressou cedo na vida militar assim como agatha. seguindo os passos da mais velha, frequentou o colégio militar de onde moravam. apesar de estar restrita de muitas coisas, aprendeu a se portar, como agir e até mesmo mesmo a gostar do modo que viveu durante sua infância e adolescência. nunca fora alguém que buscou por festas, diversões noturnas e qualquer coisa que ia contra o que os pais diziam - era a boneca perfeita para que os progenitores pudessem usá-la de exemplo dentro e fora de casa. quase como um roteiro já pré escrito, saiu do colégio militar com notas exímias e não teve nenhuma dificuldade de ingressar em quântico - claro que seu sobrenome também ajudou nessa parte.

em contrapartida, era sufocante ter agatha como referência lá dentro. renée amava a sua irmã, sem dúvidas, mas odiava como o restante as comparavam em tudo que ela fazia, até mesmo o treinamento mais simples ou a prova mais elaborada do semestre. como se tivesse que suprir suas expectativas, a de seus pais e do restante. aquilo foi criando uma casca dentro da caçula que ela odiava. provaria a quem quer que fosse que ela podia ser sim tão boa quanto sua irmã. porém, diferente dela, seguiu no caminho de analista comportamental. foram anos trabalhando dentro da mesma equipe, com as mesmas pessoas, que acabou por vacilar em uma das regras que havia criado para si mesma: não se envolver com ninguém de dentro da agência. não era por mal, mas sabia na pele como era a vida de um agente - inconsistente, sempre em viagens e quase nenhum tempo para a família. ela havia experimentado aquilo e não queria para sua futura família. apesar de várias ressalvas, acabou cedendo aos caprichos de james, um rapaz de outra unidade. mantiveram o relacionamento em segredo o quanto puderam, afinal, renée não gostava dos holofotes e ali dentro qualquer mínima coisa já era motivo.

tardou para que avançasse dentro do FBI, o que a frustrava. nada fora pior que a negativa que recebeu, ao se candidatar para ser chefe da sua equipe, e preferiram colocar outra pessoa em seu lugar. aquilo fora como um soco no estômago, desanimando a gerritsen e colocando em dúvida se ela merecia mesmo estar dentro da agência. na mesma época, começou os problemas com seu relacionamento, junto com o convite para se mudar para windham. em um primeiro momento, fora contra pois não queria largar tudo que havia construído. a ilha era um deserto, havia feito suas pesquisas, e um bilionário fico brincando de casinha não era algo que lhe agradasse tanto assim. mesmo com ambas as filhas sendo contra, os dois idosos pareciam animados com a ideia. culminou o término de seu relacionamento com a mudança, pronta pra começar uma nova vida. ao menos era o que pensava. por azar do destino, quando estavam a caminho da ilha, ocorreu um acidente, qual os pais faleceram, deixando as irmãs desamparadas nas primeiras semanas naquele lugar novo. atônita ainda com a perda, talvez renée é a que mais sente falta dos pais, que sempre foram super protetores e cuidadosos com ela. da perda, a ligação única que tinha com a irmã mais velha apenas se fortaleceu, as transformando em uma só.

a maior dificuldade de todas fora seguir a adaptação sem seus pais. ela estava ali por causa deles, não via sentido em continuar se seus motivos não eram genuínos. considerou diversas vezes voltar para a casa que conhecia, para os amigos e até mesmo seu antigo relacionamento. mas não queria, nem podia. abandonar a única família que tinha, sendo somente mais um dos motivos para continuar. não liga muito para os keaton, uma família “rival” a sua, porque sabe que são melhores que eles e isso não interfere em seu trabalho. e como sempre, honrando o nome gerritsen, fora nomeada por ernest everglot investigadora chefe. poderia não ser o que ela estava acostumada a fazer, mas diferente do que havia acontecido no FBI, ela mostraria que podia sim coordenar, mesmo jovem.

 larissa  is  born  the  eldest  of  two  in  são  paulo  ,  brazil  to  parents  who  weren’t  quite  ready  to  settle  down  and  be  parents  .  xavier  macedo  ,  was  an  american  ambassador  who  wasn’t  ready  to  take  a  step  back  from  his  job  when  lari  was  born  .  and  born  into  a  world  of  wealth  that  no  one  can  imagine  .  carla  dos  santos  was  a  flight  attendant  who  thoroughly  enjoyed  her  work  and  the  benefits  that  came  with  it  .  and  it’s  then  and  there  that  larissa  inherits  their  father’s  ambition  and  mother’s  wanderlust  .

 at  age  8  ,  lari  loses  her  mother  in  a car  accident  .  xavier  is  now  left  with  two  children  to  raise  on  his  own  .  with  nothing  tying  him  down  to  brazil  ,  he  tenders  his  resignation  and  makes  the  decision  to  relocate  him  and  his  children  to  new  york  city  .   to  be  closer  to  family  .  it’s  there  that  larissa  grows  up  with  the  support  of  their  father’s  friends  and  family  .  often  being  babysat  on  nights  when  xavier  is  working  .  and  at  16  ,  she  makes  the  decision  to  go  into  pilot  training  .  was  it  in  an  attempt  to  feel  closer  to  their  mother  ?  possibly  .  but  they’ve  always  held  a  fascination  with  aviation  .  

 at  18  ,  she’s  off  to  college  .  it’s  a  ton  of  back  and  forth  between  massachusetts  and  new  york  .  and  during  the  four  years  they  were  away  ,  things  change  .  lari  graduates  and  returns  home  .  xavier  gets  remarried  to  a  wealthy  socialite  in  the  upper  echelons  of  new  york  society  .  a  woman  who  lari  and  their  brother  dislike  .  and  it's  not  for  no  reason  .  she's  vile  ,  disliking  that  xavier's  attention  is  split  between  her  and  his  children  .  which  is  ironic  considering  how  she  has  children   of  her  own  .  and  since  returning  to  the  city  ,  lari's  been  attempting  to  play  nice  with  their  new  step-mother  .

PERSONALITY .

they’re  charming  ,  curious  and  fiercely  independent  .  lari’s  the  type  of  person  to  stay  in  the  moment  and  enjoy  new  experiences  .  it  explains  why  she’s  a  pilot  .  they  can  be  a  little  unpredictable  from  time  to  time  ,  again  ,  preferring  to  really  just  live  in  the  moment  .  and  given  how  she  grew  up  ,  they’re  VERY  independent  and  tends  to  avoid  asking  for  help  .  and  while  she’s  charming  and  able  to  hold  a  conversation  ,  they  prefer  to  keep  to  themselves  .

 lari  used  to  go  by  larissa  dos  santos  .  however  with  the  death  of  their  mother  ,  they  didn’t  need  the  reminder  and  decided  to  go  by  larissa  macedo  once  they  relocated  to  new  york

 while  working  towards  getting  their  pilot  license  ,  lari  also  got  a  helicopter  license  !

 they  started  pilot  training  at  16  ,  went  to  college  at  18  for  aviation  /  aerospace  and  at  21  completed  the  mandatory  1500  hours  needed  for  a  commercial  license

graduated  from  MIT  with  a  degree  in  aerospace  engineering  !

 along  with  an  interest  and  fascination  for  planes  ,  she  took  up  photography  and  junk  journaling  as  a  hobby  once  she  got  her  private  pilot  license  .

 suuuuper  well  traveled  ,  even  if  they  don’t  get  to  spend  a  lot  of  time  in  the  cities  she’s  flown  to  .  she  still  thinks  it’s  fun  to  say  she’s  been  to  many  countries  and  cities  .  and  it  lowkey  does  make  them  feel  some  sort  of  connection  to  her  mom  !

 despite  coming  from  wealth ,  lari  still  wanted  to  hold  down  a  job  of  her  own  .  and  since  completing  pilot  training  ,  lari’s  made  some  connections  and  is  referred  to  a  private  company  headquartered  in  new  york  and  paris  .  her  time  is  spent  split  between  those  two  cities

ok so , liv grew up in houston with a loving , caring af family which set her values high from the start . the fam was never rich but they also never truly lacked anything ??  

it was clear from a rather early age that liv possessed insane talent when it came for acting , so after a couple of lessons , school plays  &  whatnot , her parents decided to relocate to california so she could pursue acting full time  (  which was a big thing considering she was just 5 , but they believed in her ! )

so obvi , since she was a cute lil blonde girl with immense talent , it didn’t take long for her to book her first big shot movie , &  soon enough liv was a household name !!

growing up , she was careful what she picked  &  even more careful of the company she kept  (  aka fame never got in her head that much )  so with that more blockbuster movies followed , so did appearances on tv , commercials , etc ... u name it ! she was basically hollywood’s sweetheart  (  think hilary duff grows up to be kate winslet or kate blanchett )  &  i have the list of movies she’s made  HERE  to make it easier for u :))
