a/n: okay so...this is my first time writing a generic fic, in which I mean you can imagine whatever character you want. So uh...I hope I did this right. Also, listen to 'Dream a Little Dream of Me' by Karen Fukuhara. It's *chefs kiss*

Rain drizzled, gently pattering against the windows. I watched as the clear drops raced down. My brain was racing yet it was blank all the same. That growing pit in my chest ached as I listened to that familiar bittersweet tune. I loved to listen to it, yet it always brought me into a somber trance. The gloomy weather only seemed to add to my mood.

“Say nighty-night and kiss me Just hold me tight and tell me you’ll miss me While I’m alone and blue as can be Dream a little dream of me”

I frowned. I understood that longing feeling. Being alone and wishing for someone to love you. Although the singer is singing about their lover, my mind wandered to who I was crushing on. The thought of him kissing me, the thought of him holding me and asking me to stay with him, it loosened that hollow feeling just a little.

I had been pining over him for so long, it was starting to hurt. The pattering of my heart when he smiled at me so handsomely, started to ache. The warm flush that I used to bask in that he’d always manage to cause, started to grow cold. The usual happiness I felt when I’d look at him turned bitter. Yet no matter how much it hurt, I still found myself falling for his charms. The bitterness would leave, if only for a little while in his presence, only for it to come crashing down when he was gone.

There was no one to blame but myself. I had spent so long dwelling on my feelings, on pretending like they weren’t there, that it started to warp. I was by his side for so long, that it felt like he overlooked me, that if I were to disappear from his life, that he wouldn’t even notice.

The answer to my problems seemed easy on surface level. Just confess, get these feelings off my chest and be done with the whole deal. Yet, after this long, he hadn’t noticed. He hadn’t noticed how my gestures ran deeper than just friendly. How I dropped everything to make sure he was okay. Not only that, but he hadn’t hinted at liking me back. We were just friends, and even if it hurts, I don’t want to lose that. Because I care for him as a person, and if he’s happy, then that’s all I could ask for.

This man was so awkward at the Christmas party around them

Just tries to be polite without really knowing what to say

That was until he felt something hitting his face and when he turned he saw mistletoes hanging on a fishing rod

"I told you it needed to go higher."

He looks behind to see Harleen holding it and Jervis giving instructions

If looks could kill

Crush reminds him of her presence and says they don't need to do that if they don't want to

He just screams "NO!" before pulling himself together and saying it's alright

He honesty is so happy he ignores the cheers

Mad Hatter

He would 100% set mistletoes everywhere, the man want every excuse to kiss Crush

But his luck made it that he and Crush were outside for the whole day

It was great he got kinda bumped out he didn't get to kiss them

So when they got he gets excited wanting to open the door and invite Crush over but they stop him

Confused he just looks at them when they kiss him

Goes for it and has a goofy smile asking why and Crush points at mistletoe above them

Oh right, he forgot about that one

Asks if they would like more and open door revealing his house full of it

Crush just giggles and takes his hand

Music Meister

The man took them to the city shopping

Planed everything and made sure went with perfect harmony

It was honesty great fun for them

He wiped out all of his charisma for this and there were moments where kiss would happen but he saved it for the last

They end up in the main square with a musical number and by the end of the song they will end up under mistletoe where he ask "May I?"

This is Musical Christmas movie from now on

If it wouldn't work he would had a breakdown

Things I'd like to do

Various Batman Rogues X Reader

My brain is composed of sludge 3 AM thoughts and this idea came to mind. So the following content are just ideas of what I'd like to write... But can't because of time constraints but I'd love to share them either way, so yay.

💚 I would LOVE to write fics based on the first song to play in my playlist after I put on shuffle. Like... Send in some Riddleman variation, then I'd tap on shuffle and whatever song is on I'll write the Riddleman with it. You get me???

💚 I would love to write a detailed make-out sesh with YJ Riddler just cos. Make him feel all sorts of thing, make him feel soft, hard just akcnsncjdocj I love him ok

💚 I want to write a Gotham Edward x reader wherein Reader shares semblance with Kristen. So basically Reader is taking the place of Isabella but instead of stubbornly staying in the relationship and dying, reader has enough self-preservation and respect to recognise the fact that Edward only loves them because of their semblance with his dead ex gf that he killed. Not yet a fleshed out idea, but that's the whole gist

💚 I'm not very confident about writing Zero Year Edward but... He reminds me of Mitski's songs, "A loving feeling" and "Lonesome love". Idk, he just possess the vibes of that one guy that will make you think you're in a relationship when in fact... You're not, and he's just letting you tag around because having someone like you reflects well on him and other thah that, he is also a sadistic fuck.

I just... The angst material from the Reader attempting to break things of with him and yet he will always manage to pull you back... I my to repeat the process until you're drained.

💚 Fell in love of the idea of including Query and Echo in fics. Expect them to appear here in the future. And maybe an OC associated with them.

🖤 Gotham Penguin having a child, and said child is running for the student council. Like daddy, they will get what they want with any means necessary... Blackmailing other candidates, perhaps maiming some of them and father dearest couldn't be more proud.

🤍 Gotham Penguin once again, I just have like the me tal image of him being a good dad, okay? Anyways, I pictured his child making him a paper crane and he still keeps that same crane hidden in his drawer, along with whatever his child gives him. Letters, drawings, flowers, you name it.

🧡 Masters of Fear Jonathan being distrustful boy towards a student that's taken a liking to them and tries his best to be as nasty as possible to them, but failed. One day he calls them over at the back of the school in private to kill them and so as he his trembling hands hold their neck, he tries to read Reader's features because he wants to see the fear in their eyes as he squeezes the life out of them. Reader, thinking that Jonathan was just hesitating to kiss them, takes it upon themself to initiate the 'kiss', leaving Jonathan shock and Reader alive.

🧡 Harley Quinn Jonathan being protective of his psychologist spouse that works in Arkham. Just, some juicy marital drama ensues.

💜 I want to write an innuendo-filled dressing room shenanigans between theater actor Music Meister and theater technician Reader.

I did both platonic and romantic since it kind of depends. Hopefully this comes out okay because tumblr is being a little sketchy at the moment.

The Riddler

Platonic? Joker. Do not associate with that buffoon, you're HIS friend. Zsasz it's mild disapproval because of his weird bullshit. Croc because of some past jealousy issues, but he'd get past that.

Romantic? hoo-boy. Lowkey he gets a little jealous of a lot of his peers because despite the image he wants to put out there, he is so self-conscious and petty. Might end up getting a little shitty about it unintentionally if it's too much time spent with them. Definitely something that would need to have a sincere conversation about how that's not okay but also you're the person he wants.

Penguin

Platonic? Perhaps some of his more charismatic peers, but it would be really easy for him to get past it.

Romantic? His "pretty"/charming peers- i.e. poison ivy, Riddler, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn. He wouldn't get to a toxic or shitty point with it, but you might notice him grumping about and getting self-deprecating. It's happened before, you know. Someone using him and then hopping to someone beautiful as soon as the better opportunity arose.

Mad Hatter

Platonic? Zsasz, eugh. Does anyone like him? A lot of that is because Zsasz is possessive and plays for keeps. More worried Zsasz would do something rather than you not being his friend anymore. Black Mask because Roman thinks Jervis is "goofy" and "ridiculous" so Jervis would worry you think that too.

Romantic? No one and also everyone. If it's any of his faithful comrades, he's actually really chill about it. All of you are friends! Especially Jon. If you wanted to kiss Jon, it's alright as long as Jervis is also there. Strangers though? He's hissing, hackles raised and draping his body over you until he's established they aren't trying to steal you away.

Scarecrow

Platonic? Music Meister simply because Clarence is a fun time but not like. A pain in the ass like some others in the gallery. Joker he'd genuinely consider fucking that man's day up.

Romantic? Jonathan isn't really the romantic jealous type. He could joke around about it, but genuinely he's older, been through a lot and if you wanted to leave him, you would. He would get possessive if one of them hit on you, though. Edward might try it just to get on his nerves so he has to straighten that shit out.

Victor Zsasz

Platonic? No one.

Romantic? You're his. He doesn't think of it as jealousy. He thinks of it more like... disliking other people trying to play with his favorite toy. It sure fucking looks like jealousy, though. He wonders if you'd be opposed to him carving his initials into your hip? No? That's fine. he'll definitely be carving someone if the others don't back off, though. Particularly that Scarecrow fellow. Too much psychobabble.

Killer Croc

Platonic? He's not crazy about that Black Mask. Way too much of a rich prick.

Romantic? Ra's al gul because of how well-spoken he is. Worldly. Who wouldn't want to be with that guy besides the whole weird pit thing? To a way lesser degree, Bane sometimes? Bane is his friend so it wouldn't get awkward or anything but the guy is incredibly intelligent AND just as strong. Makes you feel a little lacking sometimes.

Harley Quinn

Platonic? Joker. Fuck that guy. Straight up tells him politely to fuck off, you don't need his bullshit. Gets mama bear protective as your friend. Ra's al gul also kind of creeps her out.

Romantic? Joker. If it came up, she would make it very clear she's not jealous of you, she's jealous of him- There's no feelings for him anymore but she'll be damned if he gets his claws into you. She knows how he can manipulate things. Bane if only because she kind of thinks he's hot.

Poison Ivy

Platonic? Joker. Fuck that guy. She'll make it clear she disapproves and probably threatens him if he gets too chummy. Black Mask but mostly because of how he dislikes Harley.

Romantic? Joker. After everything with Harley, she'll murder the clown if he tries getting some level of closeness to you while you're in a relationship. Mr. Freeze because there's something so charming and alluring about him. Sensitive. Maybe to some extent Selina only because she's so beautiful.

Two-Face

Platonic? Harv doesn't like Riddler much and hates Joker even more. Snakes in the grass. Harvey doesn't mind Edward but is in agreement about Joker.

Romantic? This might come as a shock but- Penguin. They actually find Oswald charming and enjoyable to be around to an extent, so if you were to get a little too friendly, they might need some reassurance. Riddler again with Harv specifically because of his charm and looks.

Black Mask

Platonic? Harley Quinn. She's way too fun and bubbly, he'd be paranoid about her turning you against him.

Romantic? Again Harley Quinn, same reasons. Poison Ivy since she fucks with people's head plus attractive. Catwoman and Riddler because of the looks department. Anyone who looks at you longer than a minute. Maybe if he put a collar on you or a tattoo, people would get the fucking hint. Or fuck you high up in public where they can see. That'll teach them.

Mr. Freeze

Platonic? Poison Ivy. They've had some run-ins before where Pamela got a little too Close and then got stabbed in the back so he'd definitely be jealous and on edge that she'll do it to you.

Romantic? hahahahahhahahahha. Look, Victor has a LOT of issues in the romance department. The truth of the matter is, he gets easily jealous because he's had the greatest love of his life ripped from him without warning. It doesn't make it okay or healthy, but it is a truth. Almost everyone on the rogues gallery barring perhaps Ra's and Zsasz are potentials for stealing you away. He doesn't get a certain way with you, obviously you're not the problem. It's everyone else.

Ra's al Ghul

Platonic? While there isn't anyone in particular he's jealous about, per say, he might wonder if you prefer the company of the more... lively personalities such as Riddler and Mad Hatter if you spend a lot of time with them.

Romantic? Where Edward plays up his swagger and confidence, Ra's actually has it. Why should he worry? You would be a fool to leave him. You would be a bigger fool to cheat on him, for both you and a hypothetical lover. And despite it not being a fear of his, he makes it clear he would find out should the topic come up.

Bane

Platonic? Doesn't feel a need to be jealous over compatriots. He doesn't own your friendship. Will disapprove of Joker or like. Condiment Man or something. Idiocy.

Romantic? Penguin because he recognizes the threat that man could really be if he wanted. Poison Ivy because of her immense allure. Doesn't get super jealous, but definitely casts some side eye if people get too close.

Note: I’ve been doodling/writing silly scenarios with the three above since like,, end of May, and they’ve been my longest fixation so far this year, so hopefully I’m not being too impulsive lol

guess i'm gonna do this then, huh.. alright, well- dc universe, nothing in particular, just dork squad x reader stuff i want to do. this is the current fixation, and i want to write, and these three are stuck in my head, rotating like they're inside a microwave. might include music meister in the future?? not sure, not too interested, but maybe?? dunno, mad hatter, riddler, and scarecrow are the current blurbos. will include headcanons, scenarios, and one-shots. can and will do poly relationships, fine with [insert trait] readers (i will say now i may not know how to write certain backgrounds or topics, but i will try my best). might do sfw/n in the future, right now not interested. generally okay with most stuff. fine with mentioning some of these, but won't explicitly/write incest, sexual abuse, and minor/adult romantic relationships. may add more, depending on what comes to mind/requests.

DC Injustice League guys x My OC nightmare. remember I'm doing a part one and part two of the Injustice League guys you know the ones I like I'm not doing the ones I don't like you'll know when you find out also what I find funny is how a guy screams like a girl and when a girl he's going on a date with ask him did he scream like a girl and he says no because he's too prideful he doesn't want to admit that he screamed like a little girl 🤣🤣🤣 also Justin that you all know that all the villains are very terrified of nightmare for a reason and same with the heroes as well cuz my OC nightmare AKA Jacqulyn is very scary but she's very sweet not too bad guys though

Black manta

The first time she slept with him. was at his secret lair. he was thinking of an evil plan on how to destroy Aquaman and rule over Atlantis. That's when nightmare appeared, it scared him so much that he screamed like a little girl. (🤣 Sorry I couldn't resist) he cleared up his throat and asked her what is she doing in his evil lair, she told him that she's very horny and she wants him to fuck her. Inside his mask his eyes widen in shock. He didn't ask any questions and didn't hesitate to get naked. He really didn't want to make nightmare mad I mean no one really wanted to make her mad because of who she was and what she does. So when nightmare took off her dress but kept her mask and cloak on, his eyes widen he thought that she was pretty butt she was very beautiful he then looked at her rest. When she looked at his boner she smiled and began to stroke him. (Do you like getting your cock stroke by a hero) she asked, he nodded his head yes. When she went over to his desk she used her magic abilities to lift everything up except the desk and put somewhere safe. The Riddler

The first time she slept with him, was when he tried to trap nightmare in a maze give her all these riddles, (okay there are two things wrong with this 1 The Riddler shouldn't really trap nightmare in a maze and give her all these stupid riddles and 2 you should know to not piss off the most scariest hero of the DC universe) so of course The Riddler had to be a fucking dumbass because he thought he could trick nightmare Oh but he was wrong oh so wrong. So of course nightmare teleported to wear Riddler was. And when he turned around and looked at her he saw that her face and her eyes were screaming ultimate rage, basically he can see her blood pressure rising. He thought she was going to kill him but no something much worse for him at least. But for her oh it is the best revenge she could ever think of. With a mischievous smile on her face she snapped her fingers. When he woke up he realized that he was tied up and naked. Nightmare walked in and Riddler saw a table full of BDSM stuff. When he realized that he had a ball gag in his mouth. Nightmare was wearing fake leather boots and fake leather skin suit and her mask still on. The Riddler wanted to ask her why is he on a chair and tied up before he knew it. Nightmare smacked him on his legs with a whip. (Silence you little fool I'm in charge here) nightmare said, nightmare then begin to sexually torture The Riddler. When she snapped her fingers the Riddler's eyes were wide because he saw a sex machine with a dildo attached to it. She then snapped her fingers again and The Riddler was being fucked by a machine. Hours later he woke up and found a letter saying don't piss me off ever again. The Riddler learned his lesson that day. He learned a few things about himself that day 1 he really likes being dominated by a strong woman. and 2 he likes being pegged

The music Meister

When she first slept with him. it was daring a mission nightmare went on, of course music Meister was trying to mind control nightmare by using his music abilities. The one thing he didn't know was that nightmare resisted his power. He was very surprised no one has ever resisted his power, so he tried harder still nothing though. Before he could do anything else nightmare snapped her fingers. He had no idea where he was when he opened his eyes. when he asked where he was. (We are at a love hotel you little fool) nightmare answered. Music Meister was really scared now he heard stories about nightmare being the most scariest hero of the Justice League. He just didn't expect her to be this scary. With a shaky breath he asked her what was she going to do with him. She smirked and told him that she's going to make him sing her name over and over again. He did not even want to ask her what she really meant by that. So his "thought question" was answered. She snapped her fingers. And used her magic to undress him. He had no idea what was going on but when she climbed on the bed but the predatory look in her eyes. He really wish he listened to his fellow Injustice Leaguers because the next thing he knew. He was screaming her name full of passion and pleasure. A few more thrust later. And he came right inside her. the next morning he woke up in his bed and his own home and there he saw a letter.(i hope you learned your lesson little bicth boy ) 🤣 his face immediately turned red he learned a few things that day 1. Never piss off nightmare 2. Always respect women. And 3. Never ever underestimate a woman with claws and magical powers

Vandal Savage

The first time she slept with him. Was when he was trying to take over the world, but taking over the world all by himself sounds lonely so who better to rule the world with him. Then nightmare herself. Of course he heard many things about her. When he asked joker what is she like joker freaked out and told him to never talk to her or go near her because of what she'll do to him. Vandal then decided to see what she looks like from a Faraway distance of course. So when he saw her in battle he thought she was beautiful yet a bit dangerous so that's when he finally made his decision he was going to try to convince nightmare to join him in ruling the world. When he did try this nightmare just laughed at his face and told him that he was an idiot for even thinking that, and then she had an idea a very mischievous idea. She made a deal with him that if he could prove to her and explain to her why it would be a good idea to rule the world and what would be so good about it. She then told him to think this through before opening his big mouth and saying something dumb. And that's what he did he spent all night thinking about what he was going to say to her he wrote it down and made a list of it. So the next day vandal found nightmare and told her the reasons why they both should rule the world. 1. If they rule the world together everyone can live peacefully no more war's no more violence just peace 2. Everybody will have a free will but there will also be some rules, nightmare heard every word of it she agreed vandal was happy she then told him that they should celebrate he asked her how do they do that. (Follow me and I'll show you) nightmare said. And he did all the way to his bedroom he realized what she meant by celebrate and he agreed. So there they were in the middle of passionate love nightmare never thought vandal was big between his legs so without knowing it vandal came inside nightmare, the next morning nightmare teleported to the watchtower and her uniform. And explain the Justice League vandal's plan of world domination. They wanted to ask her how she got the information she didn't say and it freaked them out a little bit. So they save the day and the world was save and sound. Vandal however was very hurt and very upset.

Slade was on a mission. That mission was to find nightmare and to know the Justice League weaknesses, without looking where he was going.

He accidentally bumped into someone. when he looked he saw that it was nightmare herself only as a civilian? He didn't quite understand. Why does she look like a civilian instead of a hero.
