daily reminder you should all listen to the amazing devil. seriously go listen to love run, the horror and the wild, and ruin. you're missing out. I'm begging you if you want to brainstorm stories or aus or animatics they are PERFECT for daydreaming to, they have SUCH good lyrics and instrumentals do yourself a favor. if you like the crane wives or the oh hellos, this might be up your alley (although it's not exactly the same obviously, a lot of differences)

Song Rating: 4/10. Completely mid vocals, lyrics, instrumentals. Pretty childish song but it is from Adventure Time so it makes sense.

Nostalgia Rating: 2/10. Pretty inconsequential.

I was a complete Cartoon Network kid. If my show didn't feature animated people, I was not interested at all. This meant I was too good for the Disney Channel. I think my favorite show was The Amazing World of Gumball, but I liked nearly everything.

This song comes from Adventure Time, although I'm pretty sure it's from a later season. I stopped watching when Finn got with Flame Princess because I was a little kid and I hated romance in my adventure shows. I cannot believe Finn let himself get distracted by ladies! So lame.

Apparently when I was around eight, I was at a dinner with my dad and some of his colleagues. I was just doodling at the table, but one of his colleagues started chatting with me about shows I liked watching. I said I liked Adventure Time but that I stopped watching it once it became about too much romance.

I especially like this anecdote because that colleague retold the story about five years later to me and added a detail. He told me he was quite shocked because there he was, a 30 year old man who still watched Adventure Time, interacting with an eight year old who judged the show to not be worth her time.

I knew I was born to be a critic.

okay.... this album has always been my go-to i always come back to for my own feels but now, i can’t help but think of my boys every time but especially what was my favorite line for my own feels. (yes i posted about it before. idc! its rainy I'm emo and ITS MY BLOG FOR MY SHIP, I’ll mention it again I'm sure! idk how to organize so idk how to find old posts lmfao. OK!?)

Bonus, the start of it gives me all the angst for Boris sympathy feelsss. (actually, inspired a whole portion of the Sojourn Sands fic for learning more about Boris during time apart. UGH that fic is hard on me to write, assuming all those feelings and thoughts to deeply empathize with them both enough so to be authentic. sorry I’ll stop the rant.)
