I went to see @beautymusical last night in the @bordgaisenergytheatre since we're both big Disney fans and we both loved it so much! The music, the acting, the cast, the sets, just everything, it was stunning, I especially loved Le Fou, he was a riot in the show, and @courtneyjstapes who played Belle and @taylorshaq who played the Beast, oh, their voices gave me chills and the beauty and the beast ballroom scene, loved it and that dress! Another amazing night last night at the @musicaltheatreraves in @heavenlgbtclub, honestly I adore that event so much, the owner describes it perfectly, its somewhere where everyone feels included and you can just enjoy every moment of it, if you haven't gone to it yet, I'd 100% recommend going if you enjoy musical theatre, no matter who you are, you have a place there and you will have the best time! After it being pushed twice over the last few years because of you know what, yesterday I FINALLY got to see the Sister Act Musical! Now originally, ngl I was going to see it specifically because Whoopi Goldbery was reprising her role as Sister Mary Clarence but because of it being pushed twice, she couldn't do it anymore so that made me sad at first but I was just happy to get to see it now, it also meant I got to see the talent of other actors especially west end ones, @ferrifrump and @realkealasettle did great as Mother Superior and Sister Mary Patrick, the rest of the cast were amazing too and the soundtrack of it was great! "The greatest thing you will ever learn is just to love and be loved in return" ❤ I saw a mantinee of @moulinmusicaluk today and omg I loved that musical, honestly I only really know Moulin Rouge the movie and compared to that the musical was actually different, of course plotwise, it was the same but I love that with this stage production, apart from the iconic Lady Marmalade, a lot of the soundtrack was updated with more up to date songs and I loved that especially with it meshed it so nicely into the story! So I've just been to see @tinathemusical and it was sooo good, ngl I didn't know too much about Tina Turner (I know, bad queer) other than knowing her most memorable songs so this musical was very enlightening on teaching me her life story while also incorporating so many of songs in the the story which was done so well, the cast were amazing (especially Tina, tho) and ending was so fun! Went to see @sixthemusical in the Vaudeville Theatre last Saturday and it was sooo good! I got to see it with my sib sib @themagickalkat and it just made this theatre trip so much better! This was my first time seeing it since I saw it with the OG cast in the London Arts Theatre and this cast was just as good and we were lucky to see a super swing perform because the one playing Jane Seymour fell ill midway through the show, at least we got see both Jane actresses perform which is all that matters! So I went to see the @millennialsmusical on Friday in studio section of @theotherpalace because as a millennial myself, I definitely wanted to check it out, I knew I would relate to it in some way and I most certainly did, first of all I gotta say it was the best set for a small show I'd ever seen, I loved the pink and green lighting, the 90s stuff all around the room was a definite plus and the ball pits, so good but other than that, the cast and the songs were great, I love seeing productions that @lukebayer is in, another one being RENT in the @hopemilltheatre but I enjoyed everyone else in the cast so much too! The songs were relatable so if you're a millennial or even if you're not, I'd recommend going to it while you can! This time last night I was watching @chicagoonstage with my mum & it was great, this was another one of the musicals that I knew very little about going in expect a few of the more well known songs, so I had no idea what it was about & I was so happy I went to see it becuase I thoroughly enjoyed it, the cast were great, my mom knew about some of them a lot more than I like @officialrussellwatson, @sf3degree & @faye_brookes but I still enjoyed it just as much, the songs & dancing were amazing, some of the dancers were really flexible, ngl & I apologise but I have say this most the dancers were really attractive, especially one blonde guy in particular with a half open shirt who I could not stop staring at 😅 Overall I loved the Chicago musical!
