tiktok is actually evil i think

my sister loves youtube tiktok and my dad loves facebook tiktok and man it seems so. like it seems like the evil endless scroll and i admit i do that on the social medias but tiktok style is actually worse thats why i dont use tiktok or any of the tiktok knock offs because i know if i did i would be sucked into the endless video loop. also tiktok type stuff with no headphones is about the most annoying thing ever especially if i can understand what they're saying. because then its like wow i want to know what's happening in the video wait no stop qllie don't do it....

basically i think if i used tiktok/youtube shorts/facebook shorts i would be ruined thats why i deleted facebook (also facebook sucks i don't care about my cousins who i barely know arguing with each other lol)

also watching my sister just scroll and scroll without fully watching of any of them is so. idk.

★ Listen, he's not going to try and stop you because he knows that you'd just want to fight someone more. But he does tell you that you should try to stay out of trouble. When you play music when he gets into a fight he suddenly gets it.

★ If and when you get hurt he ends up overreacting, he takes away your speaker for one week. Even though he has no actual authority over you. Little does he know you have plenty of spares.

★ He thinks you might like to watch wrestling, as a surprise he brings you to a match. You practically have the best seats in the house on the top part above the ring. You know what I'm talking about? I forget what it's called.

Leonardo

★ He's had to patch you up after you decided to start a street fight way to many times. But he still asks you if you won each time. Also if you get seriously hurt he makes you tell him who did it because "snitches get stitches" and you need stitches.

★ You always seem to find the perfect song for each situation. For instance, if he was fighting with repo mantis you'd play a 90's rock/metal song. But if he was fighting Hypno you would play something mystical sounding with trumpets.

★ When you get into a fight with someone and it seems like you are winning he yells "Worldstar!" before getting yelled at by Raphael for encouraging you.

Donatello

★ You once played an old ragtime tune when he was chasing Leo around the lair because he took something from his room. He did not appreciate it. Leo thought it was hilarious though and gave you a thumbs up.

★ Generally speaking, he really enjoys having some background music to focus on and get him in the mood for something. Especially since you cater to his "refined tastes" and play songs that sound like a computer threw up music.

★ You're the only person who he allows to choose the his lab. Feel honored, not even April has that privilege. He likes it when you introduce him to new music.

Michelangelo

★ He's given you the nickname "Dr tunes" for fairly obvious reasons. Whenever you're with him and/or his brothers you end up being the designated DJ, and he encourages you to play music.

★ When he can tell that a fight is about to break out he asks you to play something to "set the mood". If you aren't around he uses a playlist full of songs you usually play, but it's not the same :(

★ You know most people wouldn't be so eager to fight, unfortunately you aren't most people. You have gotten into so many fights while with him. Partly because of his hero work but mostly because of who you are as a person. He keeps bandaids on him now.

Okay for all the fangirls who are insistent that they use Måneskin as the template for Lestat's Rockstar era. I think it's a mistake. Hear me out.

Yes, the fashion is perfect for Lestat, however musicly I don't think they are a fit for what we know about Lestat. What we know about him musically is he loves opera and classical music, but he also has a tendency to write towards the music of the times. And there is a modern genre of music that I think is much more appropriate with what we know about Lestat. A genre that is inspired by classical music, opera, has a heavy emphasis on religious themes, tragic gothic romance and plenty of eyeliner.

The genre is symphonic metal and I will add links. It is defined by a mixture of classical opera, music and metal guitar riffs. And in my personal opinion, it's one of the few genres of music that I prefer the live versions of songs. I want to discuss the bands Nightwish and Kamelot. The genre is normally dominated by classically trained opera singers, normally female think bands like Nightwish, Epica and Within Temptation. However, there are a few bands that have a male lead singer.

Like Kamelot, this band has been singing about tragic gothic romance for over 20 years and is the closest real life version of the band. So many of their songs could very easily be about Louis and Lestat. The first song I want to point out is called "The Haunting". The song fits Loustat even if it is about a heterosexual relationship just changed the pronouns. But this isn't the only song that fits. The songs "Sacrimony (Angel of Afterlife)", "Veil of Elysium", "March of Mephisto" and "Vespertine (My Crimson Bride)" . Other songs that are really good that I would recommend checking out but isn't a love song is "Liar Liar (Wasteland Monarchy)"

The next band I'm going to talk about is probably the biggest name in symphonic metal Nightwish. This is my favorite band and probably what Lestat would write if Antoinette could sing like Floor Jansen or Tarja Turunen. They focus more on the opera elements and some of their songs are between 7 and 30 minutes long. So be prepared. The first song I would recommend listening to is a "Ghost Love Score". The official live version is amazing. They also have other songs about gothic romance including "She Is My Sin", "Wish I Had An Angel", "Romanticide" and "While Your Lips Are Still Red". Other songs I would recommend are "The Poet and the Pendulum", "The Phantom of the Opera", and "The Greatest Show on Earth".

Within temptation is another band that has perfected the tragic love song, but they're more gothic metal than symphonic and there is a difference. I will link some songs. "What Have You Done", "Where is the Edge", "Angels", "Say My Name", "Somewhere", "The Truth Beneath the Rose", "Hand of Sorrow", "A Demon's Fate" and "Empty Eyes". I do like the band but I think they need to go a little bit more in the symphonic metal route, then gothic some more Kamelot and Nightwish

I want to mention a couple of songs by other bands. The first being "Not Strong Enough'' by Apocalyptica and "Unleashed" by Epica. Those two songs are about abusive relationships. Epica to me has more of a focus on religious themes. I might be listening to the wrong songs by them. But their song "Cry for the Moon" is perfect for a vampire.

So to summarize for the music side of Lestat's Rockstar era I think symphonic metal is the why to go however Måneskin is the why to go visually.
