I was chatting mutants from around the world and it came up that according to the Marvel wiki, there are only 5 characters from Portugal ever to feature in a Marvel comic, none of them mutants. One of them, however, is simply called “Man-of-War” with no further information given.

Presumably this is a play on the highly venomous Portuguese Man o’ War. Despite often being called jellyfish, Man o’ Wars are actually siphonophores, marine organism whose “body” is composed of many smaller animals that act as “their” organs.

Entirely unrelatedly, a Cephalophore is a type of saint who is depicted as carrying around their own severed head.

Some concept doodles for a G/T story I recently had an idea for!

My original idea actually WASNT giant/tiny but I was hitting so many roadblocks. Switching the character over to this genre really unlocked a whole new path of potential I’m very excited to explore!

The character primarily pictured above is Gwyn, a tiny mutant with a low grade healing ability. The hand holding him belongs to Eilif, a big mutant whose ability is immortality

They live in a society where mutants are property and used to benefit the rest of humanity. Ex. Healers in hospitals, speedsters used as power plants, etc. etc.

snatching the mistletoe in his palm, his face leaned in, his eyelids hang in the slightest and he flashes you a grin. “my turn,” alessio drawls before his lips are on yours. head tilting to the side while his free hand grabs the back of your hair and pushes you nearer.

red and black lipstick smudges and he groans at the sight of your lips, at the sounds of your soft breaths. he'd pull you in again and again, catching your body against his when you melted into him.

“mmm, y'know what?” he mutters after finally pulling awa with a soft squeeze of your waist. emerald eyes still boring into yours, brimmed with so much love and amazement.

“I think. . . I'm not done yet,” he tosses back he mistletoe over his shoulder and cages you in his arms, kissing you until you are both breathless and dazed.

These are also ROTTMNT OCS!!! I drew both a bit ago. Numz the Numbat is one I like but it's hard to replicate her design LOL I've tried so hard to draw her again but every time I get worried about messing up MY OWN DESIGN HDHDGS

Also for serotonin, this is what a real Numbat looks like! They are related to the extinct Tasmanian Tiger (which is how I learnt about them, actually! Saw a family tree of their relatives and saw these cute tiny creechurs!)
