Summary: Steve's exhausted and a little run down with the hero business lately. Thankfully, he has Y/N to come home to and cuddle with. And they're not going to let ANYBODY interrupt what little rest Steve gets.

I flipped to the next page of my book, trying to block out the noise and focus on the story as someone came into the living room. I'd been trying to finish the newest book in my favorite series for a while, and I'd decided to do so on the couch in the living room of Avengers Tower. If I wanted to be confident no one would disturb my reading, I would've stayed in my room, but I wanted to venture out of my cave for a little bit, and most people were training or on missions, so it felt likely that no one would bother me.

Apparently, I was wrong. Someone flopped down onto the couch right next to me with a heavy sigh. I wouldn't have set down my book, except I recognized that sigh. It was my boyfriend, Steve Rogers, sounding more exhausted than he usually ever let people see.

I bookmarked my page and set my book aside, then turned to Steve. He had bags under his eyes and looked like he was about to pass out, right where he was. Usually, he was a pretty upbeat person, but clearly something was weighing on him today.

"Hey babe," I said, shifting on the couch so I was facing Steve. "What's wrong?"

He shook his head. "Nothing. It's just... the job's wearing on me a little more than usual."

"What do you mean?" I asked, shuffling a little closer and putting a hand on his arm. Steve didn't look at me, just kept staring holes in the ground.

"I've been running around putting out fires and getting the shit kicked out of me for days. I don't think I've slept more than a few twenty-minute naps in... four days?"

"Oh my gosh, Steve!" I cried, wrapping one arm around him and pulling him into me. His head landed on my chest, and slowly, he leaned the rest of his weight against me.

"I'm just so tired," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. I pursed my lips, but didn't say anything. I hated seeing him like this, and I hated what this job did to him sometimes. But at the end of the day, he loved it. Nothing would ever convince him to give it up.

I pulled Steve a little closer as I gently stroked his hair. I could feel him focusing on taking deep breaths and staying calm, so I slowly leaned back until we were reclined on the couch, Steve on top of me with his head on my chest.

"I'm so sorry you've had such a bad stretch of days," I mumbled, wrapping myself around him tightly. He just hummed in response. I kept running my hands through his hair, trying to help him relax and make him feel safe despite everything he'd gone through.

After a few minutes, I felt the tension fade out of Steve's body. His breathing evened out, and I quickly realized he'd fallen asleep.

I smiled to myself. About damn time he got some rest.

We stayed like that for a long time, and I'd just started to drift off myself when I heard footsteps and loud voices coming up from the training room. I turned to glare at the doorway whoever it was would have to come through, trying to move as little as possible so I didn't disturb Steve.

After a few seconds, Tony and Bruce appeared, chatting away about some science project or other they were working on. They stopped short when they saw me, and Tony opened his mouth (probably to ask why I was glaring), but he stopped short when I put my finger to my mouth in an aggressive shushing gesture.

They both gave me questioning looks, so I pointed sharply at Steve, who by some miracle was still passed out on top of me. He must've really been exhausted to sleep through the noise and activity no matter how hard I'd been trying to limit it.

Bruce and Tony tiptoed over until they got close enough to see Steve. Bruce nodded and clearly understood why he needed to be quiet. Tony got an evil gleam in his eye.

"Hey!" I hissed, smacking him in the arm to get him to look at me. Our eyes locked, and I slowly shook my head, giving him a stare that promised death and pain if he acted on whatever idea was clearly bouncing around in his head.

I could literally see the gears turning in Stark's head as he weighed his options. Bruce put a hand on his shoulder and nodded towards the lab, giving Tony another activity to do other than messing with my boyfriend, which I appreciated. Still, it took Tony a minute to consider. And I didn't let up with my stare once during that minute.

Fortunately for Steve, although I wasn't as involved in the superhero business as I used to be, I'd proven time and time again that I could hang with the assassins in our group skill-wise, which made me a dangerous enemy if someone in the Tower chose to piss me off.

After a little bit more considering, Tony seemed to remember this, and my history in the training room and on the battlefield won out. He rolled his eyes and huffed, but turned and headed for the lab instead of waking up Steve. Bruce smiled, giving me a wave as he headed off with Tony. I waved back and watched the two men disappear, then went back to gently stroking Steve's hair.

Absolutely nobody was going to get in the way of him getting some much needed rest if I had anything to say about it. The two of us were too comfortable, and cuddling on the couch was too rare to shorten it any more than we absolutely had to.

Maybe one day, when the younger generation of superheroes were ready to take over, Steve and I could relax and retire and do this more often. But for now, I was going to take every moment I could get.

PoliZ’s Man With a Plan Bingo Masterpost

Even though the @manwithaplanbingo appears to have been abandoned, I wanted to share my masterpost of Steve Rogers-centric fills, as I had fun and wanted to show off my hard work! 😁

I scored four bingos by filling 19 squares with 18 fanworks; all but two were fanfics, with a total of 16,133 words counting towards this bingo. I ended up with 3 WIPs as a result of this bingo, but one will get finished by the end of January.

Slash pairings were primarily Stucky and Stony, but there’s two new pairings I hadn’t written: AmeriHawk (Clint/Steve) and Thundershield (Steve/Thor). I also wrote several fics with no (or platonic) pairings at all.

Ratings-wise, there’s only two outright Explicit fics, with three Mature fics, three Teen fics and the rest (11) being General-rated.

It’s All Fun and Games Until People Start Calling PR

Steve Rogers/Reader

Summary: You’re at your wits end this week, because the world is finally getting a chance to figure out what you’ve known ever since you took a job working for the Avengers: that Steve Rogers is one of the least “family friendly” people you know, and he’s always been a far cry from the perfect “man with a plan” that the posters made him out to be.

It was that kind of day, and you were on the verge of a breakdown. If the phone rang one more time you were going to cry, and then you were going to hit your head against the desk. You knew that working public relations for the Avengers was not going to be a walk in the park, but you sure didn’t expect that you would be screamed at over the phone by people who were clutching their pearls at half the things your clients did.

When you accepted the job, you didn’t understand why the salary was so high. You didn’t dispute it of course, but it didn’t seem like that difficult of a job. You thought your day would consist of booking television appearances and talking to newspapers, not fielding angry calls from random citizens. And out of all the Avengers, you probably would have guessed that Tony would be the one to cause you the most trouble, but he was fairly well behaved (well, except for the occasional dalliance with an a-list actress or two). It was Steve Rogers who was the biggest thorn in your side, and you quickly learned that America’s golden boy was a long way from perfect.

It got to the point where you were fielding so many hate calls that you started giving the callers made-up backstories, both to keep yourself sane and to make picking up the phone a little easier.

“You should all ought to be ashamed of yourselves!” one caller said, without any other greeting. You decided that she had a husband she couldn’t stand and children she wanted to send away to boarding school. Her husband hated her as well, and he was having an affair with his childhood best friend, but she didn’t know that. “My children had to see that monstrosity out in the snow today!”

“With all due respect ma’am, no laws were broken by Mr. Rogers’ actions,” you said tiredly.

“So you’re defending him?” the woman was now irate, and forget your desk, you were ready to repeatedly bang your head against the wall. “This is utterly unacceptable, and I-”

You cut her off before she could finish speaking. “I’ll speak to Mr. Rogers and ask him not to do it again, would that be acceptable?” The sooner you could hang up the phone the better.

There was silence on the other end of the line, and then the woman spoke again. “As long as he agrees that what he did was not right.”

“I’ll talk to him, okay ma’am?” You knew what he was going to say, and you didn’t care (because you shouldn’t have to deal with this in the first place), but you were willing to say anything if it got her off the phone.

When you finally hung up, the clock on on your desk 5:00, and you breathed a sigh of relief. There were still things to do, but at least now you didn’t have to answer the phone for the rest of the day.

You left your office and made your way to the compound’s main kitchen, where you hoped to find the Steve so you could talk to him. Thankfully, when you stepped into the room, several of the Avengers were sitting around the table, and you grabbed Tony’s wineglass out of his hands as you walked by. “Can I borrow that?” you asked, but it didn’t matter, because you had already taken a sip. Tony didn’t even bother to respond, he was used to it at this point.

“What’s gotten into you Y/N?” Bucky asked. He was the newest transplant to the compound and you hadn’t gotten a chance to get to know him that well, so he didn’t realize that this was a somewhat common occurrence.

“Do you know how many complaints I had to deal with today?” you asked, eyebrows raised. “If I heard the words ‘my children had to see that’ one more time today I’m going to kill someone.”

Steve was quiet, but he looked guilty. “What were they complaining about this time?” Natasha asked, but the grin on her face let you know that she already knew the reason.

“I don’t know,” you said, looking at each of the Avengers in turn. “But I think it may have something to do with the cannibal snowmen that Steve built in the park today.”

Silence. Both Sam and Tony looked like they were trying not to laugh, and Natasha and Bucky both had smiles on their faces. Wanda broke the silence first. “Cannibal snowmen?”

“Yeah, there was apparently one large snowman, but he was being bitten and eaten by a bunch of little tiny snowmen, complete with fake blood,” you said, and Steve still didn’t make eye contact with you. “And then there was a pair of legs sculpted out of snow, so it looked like there was someone trapped in the ground.”

“That was Bucky’s doing!” Steve finally spoke, and you just rolled your eyes as you turned to him.

“Why the fake blood?” you asked tiredly.

Guilt was evident in Steve’s eyes. “Because last time I thought it needed something more.”

“You mean the last time when you made it look like someone’s car had run over a snowman and decapitated him? Last time when I got calls for three days complaining about your ‘display of stupidity?’ That last time?”

“Yes?”

The rest of the team had quietly excused themselves at this point, but you knew they were probably still listening in a nearby room or having FRIDAY record it for them. “Steve, in every other way I would find the situation funny, but unfortunately the public doesn’t feel the same way and I’m tired of them informing me of it. From now on though, if you’re going to make fucked up snow sculptures, can you at least make them at the compound so I don’t have to hear about it from people who don’t have the same sense of humor you do?”

Steve nodded, and you let out a sigh of relief. “I’m sorry Y/N,” he said.

“It’s okay,” you responded. “It’s my job to deal with things like this for you guys, and I’m willing to do that, but unfortunately the public’s image of you is not a good reflection of who you actually are. I will fight tooth and nail for you to speak your beliefs, and especially for you to speak up for what is right, but it gets difficult to do that when I get calls all day yelling at me about piles of snow with a little red food coloring on them.”

Steve walked over to you and wrapped you in a hug. “Don’t worry Y/N,” he said. “You won’t have to worry about me anymore.”

You just laughed at his remark. “Steve, I think I’ll always worry about you.”

After that day, Steve kept his promise. The calls that came through the Public Relations office were no longer crazy hate messages and people clutching their pearls about how Captain America has a sense of humor and he wasn’t a walking army recruitment poster.

He also started showing up in your office more, and he occasionally brought you food or coffee, both of which you greatly appreciated. With the constantly ringing phone and the amount of meetings you attended on a daily basis, sometimes the entire day had flown by before you even had a moment to yourself, let alone eat something more than a small snack.

As time went on, you found yourself falling for the Captain, in a way you never expected. He was always attractive, you couldn’t lie about that, but the constant trouble he tended to cause (even if it was by accident) stopped you from really thinking about him that way.

Or it did, until you started spending more time with him. Steve started stopping by your office to bring by food, and that evolved into him staying for a few minutes to chat, and then him sitting down to talk longer. Soon, you saw Steve Rogers at least three times a week, and he spent a lot of time in your office.

You paid your growing feelings no mind though, because you genuinely didn’t believe that he could feel the same way about you. And your hypothesis was only supported when he stopped coming around as often, and he started avoiding you during meetings with the team. You thought for sure you had blown it with him by doing something you weren’t even aware of, but there wasn’t anything you could do about it.

It was especially surprising then, to see him in the doorway of your office one afternoon, in the middle of an especially stressful day, with the curtains were still drawn because you hadn’t even gotten a chance to open them yet. Your morning coffee still sat on your desk, the “world’s best PR manager” mug (a gift from Tony for your birthday) still full, but the coffee itself was long cold at this point. You had just slammed the phone back down and said something along the lines of “fuck you” to the person who had just called to complain that the Avengers should be put in jail for supporting vaccines, and Steve spoke just as you heaved a sigh. “Whatever that was, it it was my fault I’m sorry.”

You shook your head, a small smile crossing your face. “No, it wasn’t your fault,” you said. “Though that impromptu press conference you held last week where you yelled at people to vaccinate their kids didn’t help.”

His face fell. “Sorry.”

“You don’t have to be sorry,” you said. “Things like that are what I’m here for, and sometimes people just suck. But that’s over now, so what did you need?”

“It snowed outside,” he said, a smile on his face. “And I made something for you.”

Your eyebrows shot up. “It isn’t another cannibal snowman is it?”

“No, it’s not another cannibal snowman. Why don’t you just open your window and you can see it?”

Still slightly skeptical, you turned around and pulled the curtains away from the window. When you saw the scene outside, your mouth dropped open and you couldn’t help the smile on your face. Your office was on the second floor, and Steve had made what looked like a small colony of snowmen, all encircling the words “will you go on a date with me?” which was drawn out in the snow.

You were still staring at it in awe when Steve spoke again. “I’m sorry if-” but you turned around before he could finish the sentence.

“Yes, I will go on a date with you.” The smile on his face grew even more, and it gave you butterflies in your stomach, but you weren’t done speaking yet. “On one condition.”

“What’s that?”

“You stop making cannibal snowmen, or murderous snowmen, or evil looking snowm-”

This time it was his turn to cut you off, with the sweetest kiss you’ve ever experienced. When you broke apart, Steve spoke again. “I think I can agree to those terms.”

WIP Update - 4 Jan 2023

Had an incredibly productive writing week - trying to get those last few squares done on my MWAP and SBB bingos and doing some other events, too! I touched 7 fics (2 WIPs & 5 new works) for a total of 3564 words!

On Tumblr I posted Not Too Far Down the Tracks, a Stony College AU for last week’s Flash Fiction Friday.

I carried over 10 WIPs from 2022 with my current deadline being the Bucky Barnes Bingo (ends 7 Jan) and Steve Rogers Bingo (ends 31 Jan).

See below cut for the WIPs (arranged more or less by bingos/challenges/etc) I am working on - feel free to send me prompts or plot bunnies as well as asks regarding any of these projects (or any other WIPs I’ve got out there) – they really help feed the Muse and keep me motivated!

Bucky Barnes Bingo - Round 4 [BBB_R4] (Runs thru 7 Jan 2023)

Nineteen fills, two bingos so far (Row 1 & Col K) and four WIPs. Shooting to get Col B/Row 3 and Col C bingos as well. Since I have ideas for pretty much every square, I’m hoping we can carry squares over into the next round.

* B3 - Sam Wilson|Falcon - Posted Chapter 2 of After One Or Two False Starts yesterday. This chapter is Bucky POV and came in at 315 words. I may add more to this story if there is interest/inspiration

* U2 - AU: Roommate - First draft of Adverse Possession is done; Clint POV post CA:WS incorporating the following Meet Ugly prompt: "I bought a house three months ago but I’m finally moving in and discover you’ve been squatting because you’re homeless.” It’s coming in at 906 words and will get posted on Friday.

* U4 - AU: Arranged Marriage - Picking Lady Natasha’s Consort and Lord Steve’s Companion back up for this one as a crossover with my TSB IronWidow square. Chapter Three is coming in at 948 words and will get posted Friday or Saturday.

*C5 - “This might as well happen” - Used this toward a second WinterIron All that Glitters event Round Robin that will hopefully post before Saturday. Will need to make sure to submit a square fill form.

* K3 - KINK: Edging - Posted Moving Forward (Using All My Breath) on Friday. It’s Bucky POV with toy play and Tony as a power bottom and crossed over with TSB K3 - KINK: Orgasm Denial/Edging - it came in at 904 words.

Sam Wilson Bingo - Mini Holiday Round (SWB_MH) - Ends 20 Jan

Two fills posted for this 3x3 holiday event card - Shooting for a bingo/crossover with BBB squares.

* A1 - Secret Santa Sam’s bound and determined to figure out who keeps leaving little bird-themed gifts for him around the Compound. Need to start getting words on paper for this.,

Steve Rogers Bingo - Round 2 (SRB_R2) - Ends 31 Jan

Seventeen fills posted with 2 bingos (Row 3 & Row 1) & zero WIPs at the moment – aiming for 2 or 3 more bingos before the event wraps.

* D5 - Long Distance Relationship - Not Too Far Down the Tracks was a surprise fill, since it fit so well with last week’s Flash Fiction Friday Prompt Late Night Train. It’s a Stony College AU ficlet that came in at 320 words & will post to Ao3 sometime next week, I think.

Tony Stark Bingo - Round 6 (TSB_R6) [Ends 28 Feb]

Seventeen fills and two WIPs at the moment - with Vague Ideas for almost every other square.

* T2 - Doing Groceries - if I expand a bit on Not Too Far Down the Tracks, (see SRB Long Distance Relationship above) I might be able to squish this square into that fic!

* T3 - Pepper Potts/Rescue - some sort of remix of/inspired by sabrecmc’s Indecent Proposal from Pepper’s POV. At this point, I think I need to re-read the fic & take notes …

Stucky Bingo Round Four [SB_R4] (Ends 31 May 2023

Eight fills and one WIPs with a couple of other vague ideas.

* B1 - Mutual Pining - no specific idea, but it’s so On Brand for me I’m sure I’ll come up with something! (maybe a SWB crossover for a triad?)

* B5 - KINK: Double Penetration - see SRB Touch Attention/Denial above.

* O4 - AU: Supernatural - got inspired by a dream to start a Stucky fantasy AU (magician!Steve/ensorcelled!Bucky) that @bill-longbow is collaborating on with me. This was supposed to fill my Man with a Plan Bingo Soulmates square, but I ran out of time on that bingo. We’re currently sitting at 1640 words (984-ish of which are mine). Will probably continue on this sometime in January. Current Last Line: "My men will accompany you back to Brookline in the morning.”

I also adopted the Writing Format: Remix one of your fics square – am thinking of taking one of my Stony or WinterIron No Powers fics and adapting it to a Stucky pairing – if you have any requests - hit me up!

On other creative fronts: I have Baby Shakespeare Lizard and Buc-ee Stuffed With Character figures in progress - still working on the figures/props for my three Marvel Trumps Hate auction winners as well (6 of87 done so far) – thanks so much for your generous support!! Finally, I am prepping for a superhero con in March and another con in June so am pretty well booked up through spring/early summer.

WIP Update - 31 Aug 2022

A fairly productive week - I touched 6 fics (4 WIPs & 2 new works) for a total of 2024 words. @psychiccatpanda and I posted Chapter 4 of our Stucky --> Stuckony non-traditional a/b/o WIP and a Steve POV ficlet where he learns about asexuality over on Ao3 and I wrote & posted a Stony a/b/o ficlet for Flash Fiction Friday that also fills my Omega Steve square on my Steve Rogers Bingo card.

I’m up to 12 active WIPs (with a couple of maybe TBCs) with my current deadlines being my submission for the @reforgedzine and @avengersbingo .

Suck-tember [ Runs thru 30 Sep]

As you might guess from the name, @suck-tember is a writing event focused on oral gratification. I read through the list of prompts and decided to try to combine a few with my bingo squares.

* Day 2: Swollen: Finished the rough draft of Chapter 2 of Mutual Pinning this morning; it’s basically ThunderShield (Steve/Thor) smut with a focus on oral sex, leading into a third chapter of full on sex. Currently sitting at 1361 words.

Reforged - A WinterIron Zine [Deadline 12 Nov]

I got accepted to submit a 1k-3.5k fic for this project, and have submitted a basic idea & completed my first checkin. Am poking at it little by little; it’s sitting at 1901 words - so just over halfway done word-wise. Plot wise? That’s still TBD… I have very broad strokes in mind that are going to be tricky to get done in the words I have left… :: eek::

Avengers Bingo [AvB] (Runs thru 24 Dec)

Five fills posted and 0 WIPs - I decided to further challenge myself on this 16-square card by pairing up each square with a unique combo of 2 original MCU Avengers, with the final square being PolyVengers. With the help of the STB Enthusiasts Discord folks - I’ve got all 16 squares planned out, at least in terms of who to write about, and half of them have some sort of idea or crossover square to go along with them. Feel free to toss other plot bunnies my way…

* A3 - Reunited - Clint & Natasha - Endgame Ronin scene?

* B1 - Death - possible crossover with MWAP Crying and SRB Bruce Banner squares - post Snap Bruce & Steve mourning?

* B3 - Road Trip - Bruce & Thor - Post Grandmaster, pre-Thanos space shenanigans

* B4 - Age Gap - Thor/Tony - possible crossover with TSB One Night Stand (obvious title: Thunderstruck)

* C1 - Opposites Attract - Clint/Thor - there was a fun Tumblr headcanon going around about a Bumbling Foreigner whose ignorance of local customs results in him flirting with/proposing to the prince - this seems like a perfect matchup!

* C3 - Reincarnation AU - Natasha & Tony - post-Endgame.

* D1 - Friends w/ Benefits - Clint/Steve - crossover with MWAPB Hawkeye/Clint Barton and possibly SRB - Never Have I Ever

* D2 - Romeo & Juliet AU - basic idea: Steve (jock) & Tony (geek) trying out for title roles in R&J - despite their respective FWB groups thinking it’s a terrible idea. Title: Two Polycules, Alike in Dignity

* D3 - Bed Sharing - Bruce/Natasha - AoU compliant.

Man With a Plan (Steve Rogers) Bingo [MWAPB] (Runs thru 31 Dec)

Nine fills, 1 WIPs and several Vague Ideas/potential cross fills with other bingos. Prompts cheerfully accepted!

* B3 - Farmer’s Market - now looking at a crossover with TSB Doing Groceries. Moodboard + ficlet?

* B4 - Powerless AU - if Sunqueen and I decide to continue Wrong Number, Right Call , this would be a good fit.

* I1 - Steve is here for TFAtWS - this might go well with my BBB “Oh, hell no" square - Steve trolling Bucky & Sam by sending the old man in with his shield? (moodboard & ficlet?)

* I5 - Dogsitting - possible crossover with BBB “Run” square - Steve & Bucky dogsitting for Lucky? (moodboard + ficlet)

* N1 - School AU/Teacher AU - if I decide to continue on with Technicalities - I could fill this square :: ponders::

* N3 - Online shopping - this might be fun as a crossover with BBB Thighs Sam buys a revealing swimsuit for Bucky as a gag that gets Steve in a tizzy.

* G3 - USO Tour - posted Not Broken, Just Different -- a crossover with @flashfictionfridayofficial prompt [#FFF164 A False Confession] -- to Ao3 this morning - Steve POV internal monologue/identity issues of sorts that came in at 601 words.

* G4 - Canon Divergence post CA:TWS - possible crossover with BBB Kill List – Bucky wreaking havoc on Hydra bases and Steve & Sam catch up with him

* G5 - Friends to Lovers - might use this for Chapter 3 of Mutual Pinning

* O1 - Crying - see AvB Death square above

* O2 - Sex Pollen - Teenage Groot pollen = aphrodisiac hi-jinks. Quill & Gamora warn the couple (stucky)/throuple (Stuckony) ahead of time, so no dub-con.

* I4 - Canon: Avengers Academy - will probably do Stuffed Marvels sketches of Tony and Winter, as I know very little about the game/canon.

* I5 - Matchmaker Bots - possible crossover with TSB Occupational Hazard

* N2 - Blanket - Thanks to the July BBB Discord party , I have an idea for combining this with my TSB AU: College square and BBB Funeral square.

* G3 - “This might as well happen.” Going to see if I can squish this into a Stucky –> Stuckony spur-of-the-moment threesome fic inspired by a series of posts with @needyoucap over on the STB Enthusiasts Discord server that in turn led to their WIP Steve & Bucky’s Sexy Bucket List. My version (alternating POV) is sitting at 1049 words and will also fill my TSB square Hindsight.

* O1 - Royalty - crossover with TSB - IronWidow & BBB AU: Arranged Marriage - pick Lady Natasha’s Consort and Lord Steve’s Companion back up?

* O6 - AU: Biker - Grease 2 fusion anyone? 😁 I watched the movie a couple of weeks ago and took notes - It’s not gonna be a faithful adaptation, but hopefully fun - tho am having a tough time deciding who is Michael (probably Bucky, tho a case could be made for Tony)

Hero Hardships Bingo [HHB] (Runs thru 31 Dec)

Signups re-opened for this non-fandom-specific event (see @herohardshipsbingo for details) so I grabbed me a card! Still trying to match squares up across my other bingos, but I have a few Vague Ideas already, including one WIP

* I3 - Unimaginable Grief – I‘m thinking an post-Endgame Rhodey POV would work nicely here…

* N5 - Forgetting who you are because of who you’re expected to be - This should fit nicely with the in-progress Tony POV chapter of Flawed Hypothesis, @psychiccatpanda and I are about 574 words into Chapter 5 at the moment. Current Last Line: But Tony was a master of hiding discomfort and he fell into the role of charming omega once again.

* O3 - Dating a civilian - this would fit perfectly with another chapter of Takin’ What They’re Givin’ (‘Cause I’m Workin’ for a Livin’) , for which I currently have a basic plot point or two rolling around in my head.

WIP Update - 7 Sep 2022

A nicely productive week - I touched 4 fics (2 WIPs & 2 new works) for a total of 2587 words. I posted chapter 2 of my ThunderShield FWB smutfic and a Flash Fiction Friday fill that crossed over with my TSB Timeloops square.

I’m up to 12 active WIPs (with a couple of maybe TBCs) with my current deadlines being my submission for the @reforgedzine and @avengersbingo .

Stuckony Summer Stockings [due 25 Sep]

This fun event (run by the @stb-bingo mods) lets you share prompts for others to fill. There’s an initial anonymous reveal, then the creator names are revealed later. Prompt submission is closed, but if you have a hankering to write something Stucky|Stony|WinterIron|Stuckony-oriented as a gift, check out the list of prompts! (and yes, I have a couple of prompts in there...)

I wrote a quickie Stuckony smutfic (Sexy Shield-nanigans) that came at 583 words - I may tweak it a bit before I post. Would like to get 1 or 2 more done before the end of the event.
