But then he came and introduced himself and the two of you had hit it off…enough that you convinced him (or maybe he convinced you to allow him) to come home with you. Marc passed your drink to you before moving his frame away from you, “I hope you don’t mind me buying you a drink, miss. Hopefully your boyfriend will be okay with it.”

“What are you…” you raised your eyebrow at him before you realized what he was doing. You couldn’t help but grin at him, “well, I don’t have a boyfriend so that’s no matter. But I don’t mind either.”

“Come here often, gorgeous?” he took a long drink, his dark eyes never leaving yours, “haven’t seen you around before.”

“No,” you shook your head, “this is my first time. What about you, handsome? Are you from around here? I’m sure I’d remember a face like that…”

You knew Marc had told Steven about you, but there was still some doubt that he would actually like you…what if he somehow felt completely opposite to how Marc was towards you? Either way, you were going to find out for yourself.

"He…he has?" he studied your outstretched hand before taking it and letting you help hoist him up, "I didn't think he would."

"Considering that we're dating, it was going to come up at one point or another," you hopped onto the counter and watched him closely. He was clearly trying to process all of this, "you're cute. Funny how different you are from him when you share the same body."

"Yes," you grinned at him, putting your hand on his face, gently stroking his cheek before brushing a few unruly curls out of his face. Despite his best efforts, he made a small sound in the back of his throat and subconsciously leaned into your touch, "you can even pick the place."

"O-okay," he agreed with a small nod, "that sounds…nice."

"I agree," you slid off the counter and wrapped your arms around him in a small hug, letting him have the option of returning the hug or shaking you off. It only took a few seconds before he returned the hug; and oh, was it ever a good hug, "I want to get to know you better too. Not just Marc, but you, Steven."

"Wow," he pulled back, a nervous but giddy little smile on his face, "I…you're wonderful."

"That'll be something you decide later on," you laughed and he looked at you with what could only be described as heart eyes. You pulled out your phone and passed it to him, "put in your number, Steven."

He did so, his hand almost shaking with excitement as he saved his information before passing the phone back to you. You quickly called his phone so he'd have your number as well, "I-I'll call you when I'm off, yeah?"
