okay, okay, last one i PROMISE! what's ur favorite reading of when mark develops feelings for peter, at which point in the timeline is the most flavorful to you for it to happen?

oh man.... oh man. i very much like the idea of instant obsession, but i think my favorite is hoffman falling for him after he survives the cube trap. like. i think he was very obviously attracted to strahm as soon as he meets him, esp bc strahm is smart (if not just bitchy and a very obviously divorced stubborn asshole) and there's probably something there that itches under hoffman's skin. interests him in a way that he's not entirely sure about, but there's something there. so he leaves the pen in strahm's pocket, just to see what happens, to see if strahm really is something worthwhile, or if he's just another dumb asshole that hoffman has to get rid of, and when strahm manages to free himself from the cube trap by literally giving himself a diy tracheotomy.. i think that's what did it for him. that expression on his face while he watches strahm get wheeled away into the ambulance <3... oh yes. i think that was the tipping point for hoffman. there was always something there but THAT was the turning point and began his fixation on strahm. right then and there he decides that peter strahm is something else and that he for sure wants him for himself. i think this is perhaps the most popular reading, i'm not sure, but i Really enjoy it
