- i kinda like that she ended up looking like a mother-of-pearl inlay lacquerware!

- oh this was a subconscious choice, but Gale is sitting in seiza which is a posture for showing respect especially to elders. it's also known to be a painful position to sit in for extended periods of time, which is why it was sometimes used as a method of (morally dubious) punishment. however, experienced people can maintain this posture for much longer. food for thought :-)

- (edit: deleted this point bcs it didn't really make sense + detracted from the art a little;;)

My favorite thing about Baldur's Gate 3 is the idea that Tav is traveling with these people for weeks and only knows one of their last names until near the end.

Like the full grade school behaviour of "You're all my best friends and I'm in love with one of you also what the fuck is an Ancunin. No saer you're mistaken Gale's last name is 'Ofwaterdeep'. My boy Wyll Ravengard *poses* the Blade of Frontiers. Where is Cliffgate."

i think the one thing i love the most about the BG3 fandom and the way it treats Astarion, is that he is ALL our boyfriend. in other fandoms, shipping ur OC with a main character is like unheard of, but BG3?? There's so much love towards eveyones OC's and we all accept we want to hold hands with Astarion and the rest of the cast. there's no shipping wars, its literally all the love in the world, like yes babe, show us your tav and astarion, and ill show you my tav with astrarion!!!
