I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.

OKAY BUT DO YOU KNOW HOW IMPORTANT THE PJO BOOKS ARE cuz I really hope that this tv series becomes a jumping off point for kids with ADHD and dyslexia and other ND stuff to finally find a book series they love, not just because I loved it myself but because ND kids deserve to fall in love with books!!!
My brother is a genius, super smart guy I am so proud of him every single day, but he was always so behind in school because his dyslexia went undiagnosed for ages (my whole family’s dyslexic but his is the worst case by far) and compared to me who was a complete book worm my whole life, he had NOTHING to love in books because every time he read them, he just struggled over and over again. He had given up on books, learning, everything because no books spoke to him and made him WANT to keep trying. Jump cut to me introducing him to the PJO book series!! I was probably ranting about them because I was just an AuDHD girlie hyperfixating and I don’t even remember how I convinced him to read it but you know what happened when DID start reading it??? HE NEVER STOPPED! THAT HAD NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE AND IT WAS SO EXCITING FOR MY FAMILY (MY MOM IS LITERALLY A READING SPECIALIST FOR KIDS SHE WAS SO FUCKING STOKED) THAT THEY GOT HIM THE PJO BOX SET FOR CHRISTMAS AND THAT IS THE MOST WELL-LOVED, YELLOW-PAGED, FALLING APART AT THE SEAMS BOX SET IN OUR HOUSE FULL OF BOOKS BECAUSE MY BROTHER AND I KEEP READING THEM!!!!
I WANT THE SAME FOR THIS NEW GENERATION OF KIDS!! I WANT SOME OF THESE GEN ALPHA BABIES TO STUMBLE UPON THE SHOW, WATCH IT, PICK UP THE BOOKS, AND HAVE A COME TO JESUS MOMENT JUST LIKE MY BROTHER DID BECAUSE THAT’S WHY THEY’RE SO IMPORTANT!!! BECAUSE THERE IS A BOOK SERIES (SEVERAL EVEN) THAT SPEAKS SO WELL TO THE KIDS THAT HAVE GIVEN UP ON LISTENING
anyway here’s to the anniversary of getting our PJO box set, Merry Christmas :)

WHAT THE HECK IS WIND DOING IN THE OCTOBER ART
Twi and Sky look so so freaked out and wind just looks happy running along?
I see this and can't get this dialogue out of my head:
Twilight: let me see what you have!
Wind: *running*
Twilight: A sword?!
Twilight and Sky: NO!!!
Sckssjxkdiwgafagrge Them trying to contain the gremlin even though he's a hero and is trustworthy to handle himself. What even is HAPPENING with these three here ddkdjdshahhdbren
MAYBE THEYRE CONCERNED BECAUSE HES RUNNING STRAIGHT AT A CLIFF EDGE
The dynamic between these three in this image has so many explanations but to me it just looks like they cannot contain the gremlin zoomies he is unstoppable
(Also the set of their standing reminds me of this post with the dialogue way back when that Jojo liked so much: https://www.tumblr.com/linkeduniverse/173725443764/short-stacks-art-has-this-been-done-yet-hero)

not to be that person but i am once again thinking about eugene praying in the beginning of “bastogne.” fair warning though because i am not catholic. but since he’s not using a traditional rosary to pray or maybe he does and my poor eyesight has failed me, i have been thinking about the possibility of him losing his old rosary somewhere between the first jump and bastogne. and because I like to suffer — what if the one he lost belonged to his grandma? he talks so fondly of her later on in the episode that i can see him bringing a keepsake that reminds gene of her. she’d used it to heal and help people, so he might as well do the same. and then when he’d realized that he’d lost it — the fear that now that it is gone, more people could potentially get hurt or die. so he makes the makeshift rosary we see him use in bastogne and he clings to the hope that he’ll still be able to do some good.

I'm once again thinking about the missed opportunities to have Klaus and Kol bond more. Part of Klaus' whole motivation as a vampire is to get his werewolf part back and to finally be stronger than Mikael (sort of, I'm simplifying) both of which can be obtained by breaking his curse. But Kol? Kol is the only other original that can relate to having a fundamental part of themself ripped away from them. Klaus might not have known he was a werewolf until he killed, but he likely still had a connection he couldn't explain, as evident by him going to watch the wolves transform. And something he'd never been able to explain was now gone. He might only be able to realise the connection afterwards through its absence.
Kol though. Kol had grown up with magic, a connection to nature and the world around him in a way the rest of his siblings supposedly didn't have. And then he gets turned. And not only has his baby brother died, his father has just murdered him and the rest of his siblings after forcing them to drink human blood, which he'll later learn. Now, not only does he have to deal with the grief of Henrik's death and also his own but also the loss of his magic. A loss that's likely only worsened by Kol being a self-proclaimed child prodigy.
Kol is pretty much the only one who could understand what Klaus is going through with the binding of his wolf. We know Kol searched for ways to get his magic back/carry on practicing magic in the same way that Klaus was looking for ways to break his curse. While Klaus likely could still feel his wolf there despite being bound, Kol has no access to his magic anymore. I just think they should've been able to bond or connect over their shared loss of an intrinsic aspect of their selves at the hands of their parents

Since I saw that post about og!Cale solving a murder crime in Alberu's noble meeting, I've been obsessed with detective!ogCale, who solves crimes on his free time because he's too fucking bored.
Hence: bungo stray dogs crossover AU where, while a transmigrated RokSoo and company go around doing the usual "let's mess with white star" stuff, og!Cale got basically adopted by a bunch of weird professional detectives.
I'm talking about an AU where bsd happens in the world of tboah/tcf. So, while a member of the agency was going through the county for reasons, they witness og!Cale stealthy dropping a hint about a mystery to a near knight. Then he leaves, pretending to be drunk all the way to his home.
What everyone else sees is the local drunkard ready to cause trouble at the minor inconvenience.
What the detective in question sees is a very bright teen, good at solving crimes, who has nothing to do but pretend to be drunk. Needless to say, they take Cale back with them.
(It could be anyone, but it's most likely to be Dazai if they just take Cale with them and don't tell anyone. Though, I think it would be funny if it was Kenji the one who did it. Double-way adoption ensues)
Og!Cale is puzzled at how he ended up at the Armed Detective Agency as a recruit, but he doesn't complain. He even likes his job and his coworkers, even if Dazai keeps trying to unalive himself.
Besides, he doesn't have to keep with his trash act here. Everyone here is smart enough to tell he's acting. They're detectives, damn it. It would be strange if they didn't notice.
So, freedom.
And the ADA people like him too. This quite quirky, smart, witty and creative teen fits just right with them.
At some point, Ranpo has to tell him that "no, you're not smart. You're really smart. Not as much as me, although" because og!Cale's hypercompetence is normalized for him and sometimes he doesn't realize that "everyone else hasn't reach to that conclusion yet" when talking with normal people.
Fukuzawa looks at this sassy child and is like "I guess I got yet another son". Because, why would the hella rich son of some noble be so happy to join a group of strangers and do all this hard job? You can say he obviously loves his family from the way he talks about them, but he also brights up at the minor genuine act of care. It's concerning. Not urgent, but still concerning. He's keeping him. He's eighteen, legally an adult, and came on his own will. So, It's not a kidnapping.
