what if tail pillow ... 😳 apparently crocodilians, despite having thick skin and scales, are pretty sensitive to touch! i won't go into detail, but look it up if you're interested. to tie into that, a gator-human hybrid would be more sensitive than a human being. mostly to pressure on the scale areas (scales being like armour, so it wouldn't feel like having your skin touched) and sensitive elsewhere but especially the face (and underside of tail)

tl;dr if you grabbed her tail she would squirm

HI THERE. It's been a minute, sorry about that lol. I took a tiny out-of-nowhere and sorta involuntary break from the fandom because I lost interest for a second, but I'm slowlyyyy making my way back. With art, and some news about Tone Deaf for the people who are still wondering about that.

Also I see there's some asks in my box, I'll get to that eventually, I see you ;-; dw

As stated, I momentarily lost a bit of interest with this movie- partially because I've recently been ensnared in a new fixation that will not be named right now, but yeah. I'm digging my heels in rn, because the last thing I wanna do is abandon this project. But, also, I've clearly bitten off more than I can chew with this being a comic lmao. In over my head and going through all 5 stages of grief and currently on acceptance.

The story got bigger. Like, a LOT bigger. Too big to capture every thought in a drawing and panel it and put it out as a perfectly polished comic without seriously burning myself out. It really doesn't help that my art style evolves by the second too apparently, so I've reached a middle-ground:

Tone Deaf is going to be a fic with some comic-like segments in it. An illustrated fanfic bc I still love showing and not telling a little too much.

This'll help me not only get stuff out faster, but also to help me fill in the gaps I didn't know how to draw with just text. So I can focus on just drawing the juicy shit. This also means it'll all be collected over on Ao3 in a neat little package, and I honestly prefer that over having a bunch of posts of pages that might be hard to find. So yeah, that's the plan.

Another bonus is that the frames can now be a lot more polished and nice looking [in glorious color] rather than hastily mashed together due to my bad habit of going overboard on singular frames without realizing it.

Tldr; Tone Deaf is technically still gonna be a comic, it's just now gonna be supplemented with word-based fic mixed in because I made the project way too fucking big [the first Act has like 20 chapters I'm going to literally die]. Also it's gonna be on Ao3 and I'll probably be posting all the art here alongside any updates I make so huzzah! Help me :>

au in which Mav has Ice always sitting on his right side or in front of him and he always puts people he doesn't want to listen to his left side. It always makes Bradley giggle because not many people know Mav is deaf from that ear. Once they all had the pleasure to see an Admiral spending an hour talking basically to himself with Mav barely even registering, he was there because he was too intent staring at Ice staring back at him.

#so fun fact my mom is deaf from 1 ear so we have a disposition™️ for where we eat and how to realise she isn't earing us when we'te speakin'#but not everyone knows so people start talking to her without getting her attention and once one of her colleague went on and on but she-#-didn't heard a single word of it. years later we still don't know what the gal was talking about lol #so i think mav would use it as his advantage to not hear some people speaking to him #au in which hop 31 leaves mav half deaf and cancer finds ice still in his 30. they both live a very long and happy life #icemav #tom iceman kazansky #pete maverick mitchell

I think there's already a post abt this going around but I can't find it

I really wish disabilities were more incorporated into transformers media because, in general, the rep would be nice, but it's also a very interesting topic.

We know that Transformers are nowhere near indestructible, but they are more resilient than humans, and it's easier for them to repair severe injuries, like missing limbs.

I want to see like... how disabilities would be treates given these circumstances. I want to see robots who could get themselves 'repaired', but choose not to. I want to see robots whose disabilities are difficult for humans to comprehend, because we do not have an equivalent to compare it to.

I want missing body parts to be replaced with weird gadgets, I want scars turned into fashion statements and incorporated into one's design the same way the color of a paintjob would be, I want blind and deaf mecha who have adapted to their disabilities and tuned their other senses to make up for them.

#yeet talks #basically every character in my og cont. is disabled in some way. theyre not always visible disabilities but they do impact them all to a #big extent #op for example is colorblind with chronic pain. arcee has trouble moving her joints which makes her easily tired and means #she has to rely on others help esp in combat #blaster is deaf and relies on their cassettes to act as their ears
