Hello! This is a blog primarily focused on making animal books (mainly Xenofiction) more accessible to those who can't get them legally (or don't want to support the creators)

I've made two separate drives that contain A LOT of pdfs of said books, such as Warrior Cats, Wings of Fire, Ratha's Creature, Watership Down, Survivors and many more you can see on this list

Why not share the drives here?

Well, the last time I saw someone do that, the links got taken down, so instead I'll be sharing them through DMs!

Also, don't be shy to ask any questions.

There are two drives, the Main Books drive, and the Mature Books drive (which is mostly still a work in progress)

Please, specify if you want access to the mature books drive, and only ask for it if you're 18 years old or older, I will be checking if you have your age/age range in bio, if you don't have it, you can also say you're an adult when asking for it. (It's not a foolproof system, I know, but It's not like I want to ask for personal details)

The main drive has books that range from Family friendly to other series with an age rating of +13 or +15.

The mature books drive has animal books that have a lot of content not appropriate for minors, such as animal mating scenes, uncensored slurs and a lot of other dark topics. (Just because there's animal heat scenes doesn't mean that I condone the enjoyment of said scenes, if I see someone claiming to be zoophile wanting access to the drive, they will be blocked on sight) (This is not a safe space for anyone attracted to animals in such ways)

(I usually censor slurs before uploading the PDFs, but this time around, because of my own triggers, I haven't checked the contents of them and left the books the same as they were upon release, including slurs) (just because I left them intact, does not mean I agree with the usage of said words in the context of the books, which is why I added warnings for each slur in a document inside the drive) (I've personally censored every slur I've found in the books of the main drive, however)

For reference, this drive has books like Ratha's Creature and One for Sorrow, Two for Joy.

ALL BOOKS IN BOTH DRIVES HAVE A DOCUMENT LISTING ALL TRIGGER AND CONTENT WARNINGS FOR EACH SERIES.

The trigger warnings were sourced from book reviews and pages focused on giving content warnings.

Can I share the link once I have it?

Yes! As long as you don't share it in public internet spaces (comments, public posts, open discord servers with huge amounts of people) it should be fine. I would love to make it public, however I also don't want it to get taken down minutes after sharing, which is why I'm limiting it to private links.

Can I take the PDFs from the drive and use them on my own drive?

Of course! The entire point of this is to make these books more accessible! Take whatever you need from here!

How to say goodbye ‘see you around’ and mean it…

The time has come.

First thing’s first: this isn’t goodbye—just a heads up.

Due to changes I’m making in my personal life, I’m stepping back from the Transformers fandom for a partial hiatus. My ambition makes me restless, and it’s about time I put some of my plans into action.

Yes, a Chinese person becoming a doctor. How original.

Maybe I’ll turn out like Ratchet. Maybe I’ll suffer long enough to become Pharma.

Only time will tell…

In any case, I don’t plan on totally disappearing from the fandom any time soon. Eventually, I won’t be logged in on the app, but I’ll be accessing the site through a browser a few times a week, or when I have free time.

For the foreseeable future, you’ll see me around primarily on the weekends and Wednesdays—collecting posts for the queue, answering old asks, and maybe making a post once in a while.

What to expect:

The queue will publish a few times a day, and most original posts and extra reblogs will be scheduled.

I have 300+ post ideas saved in my notes and screenshots. My goal is to slowly release these into the wild.

I’ll try to keep writing meta, but when and how will depend entirely on how much free time I have, and what little energy I have to spare.

If I ever have extra time, I might open my ask box and play an ask game or two. Maybe…

Exposing myself here a little and sharing the current rule-set for my CP2077 Discord I'm the process of setting up below the cut! Below the cut, cause this post it's a lot of text as is.

I think I got all channels set up how I want them for starters, but there will always be room for improvement :D First and foremost I want this to become a place of encouragement and sharing and fun... I really just want it to be an extension of my fandom corner on tumblr here and have a room to chat with everyone I love in one spacereally, that's the whole point XD

Still though, I think some basic rules are good, especially if I decide to open this up to more people down the line - but also, some might find a strict ruleset (or my specific ruleset) not to their taste, hence, before sending out invites, I wanted to put this here.

1. Don't be a dick and use common sense. Be kind to each other. Assume ignorance over ill intentions first and foremost, and when in doubt, stay civil and ask a mod or admin for help via DM.

2. Homophobia, Transphobia, Queerphobia in general, Racism and Hatespeech towards other server members will not be tolerated. Report any talk of this sort to a mod or admin asap if you notice it.

3. This is an adult/NSFW server. You need to be at least 18 years of age to participate and can expect respective content. This is not to exclude anyone younger than 18, but for legal reasons.

4. No 18+ content needs to be spoilered ||like this|| by default. If you choose to spoiler something, which you are always free to do especially in general channels, use a label/indicator describing the content you're spoilering (e.g. [explicit sexual content], [nsfw], [blood/gore], [xyz kink], [tmi]). No kinkshaming please, but also, note rule 5.

5. If someone asks you to spoiler a specific type of niche/extreme content (e.g. extreme kinks, dark and disturbing topics, (mental) health themes like self-harm or terminal illnesses, or any content that could fall under 4) please do so. Be mindful of each other's comfort levels with being exposed to certain darker topics. Being asked to spoiler content does not equal being kinkshamed.

6. Everyone's boundaries are valid and you are free to set them. Simultaneously, nobody should have to censor themselves or their creations either. Spoilering (extreme) content on someone else's request does not equal censorship but is part of being a community.

7. If someone forgets to spoiler a topic that has been previously asked to be spoilered, do not assume the worst and kindly remind the op to spoiler. If the same person keeps forgetting the same things though and you feel like it is on purpose or targeted, let a mod/admin know.

8. If a topic that makes you personally uncomfortable is being discussed in a group setting, stepping away from the conversation temporarily is an alternative to asking to spoiler something (also applies to rule 6). Simultaneously though, due to no blacklisting options on Discord, be mindful of what you post especially if others whose comfort levels you don't know are there with you.

9. Please keep discussions on the server civil. If you've messed up, apologize. If discussions get personal or touch upon server-external issues, please resort to DMs to resolve them. If you need a neutral party to listen, @elvenbeard is always happy to.

10. Do not post content that isn't yours without the explicit permission of the original creator (be it mods, VP, art, writing, etc.). This includes posting links to external works that aren't yours.

11. Start no arguments or spread negativity by discussing non-server-members and their activities.

12. Keep shippy content to the respective channels. Respect each other's ships and headcanons (exceptions: see 13), but also respect the source material(s).

13. If you notice headcanons that are queer-phobic, transphobic, racist, hateful or something similar, especially if they are being framed or discussed as positive, inform a mod or admin asap. Everyone is entitled to their own headcanons, but any falling under these categories will not be tolerated.

Yes, and yes! Though it may take a little longer depending on the species. I'm still learning fursonas and animals, myself!

YES!! I need something to work with, so I REQUIRE at least one character visual and/or one pose reference of what you'd like me to draw!

"Do revisions cost anything?"

You can change and revise the initial rough sketch as many times as you like for free! ANY and ALL changes/revisions AFTER the sketch has been approved will run at $10 PER CHANGE

Yes! I WILL NOT BEGIN THE DRAWING PROCESS UNTIL THE BASE COMMISSION PRICE HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL (revision fees, and added character fees, of course, will be added before you receive your finished piece)

It really depends on the commission type, complexity of character(s), revisions/changes, and my personal schedule (school/work/family/etc)

You can expect your commission to be finished any time between 3 days and 2 weeks. Anything that takes longer than 2 weeks without prior notice (meaning it was UNEXPECTED) will result in a 20% refund of the total amount paid.

A lot of people have had different life circumstances come up, so it may be a bit longer. Also, to all artists, take as much time as you need!

There are also a couple things I wanted to discuss with the artists, the first being pricing! We should probably set a minimum donation, and I'd love to find a price that everyone agrees on for the amount of work they put in. And this is the easiest way I could think of to reach out to everyone at once.

and secondly, since the process is probably still going to take a bit to coordinate, just because of it's scale, I was thinking of opening up preclaims! for the adopts that have already been finished/are in progress. I was gonna say something angry but I realized quickly that that wasn’t what I wanted to say. As one of your ex friends I do care, I don’t check on your blog to see how you’re doing because I don’t care. Just because we’re not friends now doesn’t mean I don’t care now or didn’t care then. You’re free to delete this ask/ignore it but I just wanted to say my peace.

This took us weeks to sort our feelings on, so if you are checking Anon- I hope you see this.

First, let us say that we are not talking about anyone we still have as friends on Discord. We are talking almost exclusively about our former friends from the Survivor's Network, mostly mods.

If this is @circulars-reasoning , then you're right. You did care, and we thank you for that. We miss you, and we're sorry you get lumped in with the people you hang out with. We wish things could have been different, but they weren't. Whatever we say, it's not aimed at you. That said, we think it's time we talked about why we left in a more substantial presentation than vague posting. Because if this is a specific *dude*, then you should know how fucked up everything between us was.

Unfortunately, we only ended up modding for the Survivor's Network for a few months. When we joined, it felt like coming home. We had a brilliant mod team, we all had similar views and we worked very well together. We even got a new writing partner out of it. We were on top of the world. Working on the rules, creating a safe space and making things for the anti-endo community just a little more comfortable. Oh, and the voice chats! We had such a great time in those spaces. That's what we miss the most. But the atmosphere changed for us as our new Writing Partner began to enter awkward territory. We are no strangers to flirting and we are not opposed to enacting the rights of our open relationship, but this quickly became uncomfortable and emotionally manipulative. We have long been in silence as they are a huge name on Sysblr and were know no one would believe us over them. We do have receipts but for now we are choosing to keep them to ourselves. If the need is there, they will be released but we'd rather not have to paw through thousands of trumatic messages.

None of this is in any particular order, as our brain is very averse to revisiting the server these things happened in. But we do still have it, it and all the things said in it. We are going to place this list in bullet format and under a cut. You are welcomed to DM us any questions after this, but I doubt we will have straight answers as we're still scared to *actually* name them.

- Made our protective alter feel like a monster.

- Made us feel like we somehow cheated on them if we spoke in the SN before our private server.

- Used a situation I was venting about to try and make me feel bad after they "tried to help" by sending us a car part WITHOUT TELLING US. They used it to make us feel like we had done them wrong when we hadn't even known it was happening.

- Made our partner System feel like they were monsters.

- Tried to convince us that we were either ALL IN the relationship with this person, or all out. As in we either commit or we don't be friends.

- Pressured us to tell them any and every dark thing going on in our mind.

- Pressured us to make sure our protective Alter was never around when they were, shutting down to one word answers when certain alters would appear.

- Generally getting upset when we split new alters.

All of this and more in the space of three months. I cannot go back to the Survivor's Network because this personnas far as I know is still a mod there. They are older than me and manipulative as hell.

So if you *are* still watching my blog please note that your stupid little servers ended me in the hospital and into new psych treayment to deal with the scars you left.

We're are tagging this so it's seen. Ask us whatever, but I will not be giving a name until I can go through mentally and screencap everything. If you're asking yourself "Why now?"- It's because the alter that spit to protect us from this person finally gave us to okay. So here we are, telling the story. Believe me or don't I don't care.

A Vision in the Mirror Masterpost (OOC)

Taking the same concept from my old masterpost, this one will start out with a few FAQs and follow with a plot summary of what's going on under the cut, to keep up easily! Tags for this arc include #a vision in the mirror and for previous leadup posts, #vision prelude. Posts will also be tagged with appropriate stakes for the scene/consequences of what's going on, but on average, stuff is high stakes.

What should I know going in?

Similar to my last high stakes arc, this arc will cover some sensitive topics (all of which will be tagged alongside the arc tag and stakes)! Among them are mental health topics like anxiety, paranoia, depression, suicidality and self-injury, happenings like impersonation, defamation/blackmail, violence/death, fire (natural disaster), and general philosophizing in the "are humans and Pokémon actually equal" direction. A lot of these will largely only be alluded to on here, but better safe than sorry! Feel free to block the tag if it's not for you, I'll probably have a few lower-stakes posts somewhere in there (or maybe some ask games to break stuff up).

Also, this time, not everything is going to be RP'd live on-blog. If you're interested in seeing the behind-the-scenes you're welcome to the planning server (I can shoot you a link), but it'll be a bit heavier. The reason I'm doing this is both to reduce the intensity here, and to not flood everyone's dashboards. I'll still make summary posts of what's going on and am happy to answer asks about that! And of course, Vanilla or Cross will still be liveblogging everything crucial.

How can I participate?

Honestly, just send asks! Reblog stuff! This is pretty open, though if you'd like to be involved in anything in-person, DM me so I can add you to the planning server. I'd love to hear anyone's ideas along the way!

Know also that you can be as involved as you want in this. Some parts of this event will have wider-ranging consequences (city-wide, tops) but also, I absolutely don't expect people to get involved in that unless they want to! (If you do decide to dash-commentary things, please tag it with the arc tag so I can see it? Pretty please? And also use the appropriate stakes tags?)

Who's important in this?

Vanilla: Vanilla (26, any) is the guy on the blog, a Hisuian Zorua hybrid, and probably a bit well-known for his own good at the moment. They've currently just finished their Unovan Gym Challenge (badge-gathering), and are trying to investigate what has caused their impersonation across several situations.

Colress: Colress (39, he/him) is back from wherever he was, and certainly not better than ever. His aims are unclear, but Vanilla has been keeping tabs on him via a pager gifted by Cheri, and holds some key information from his laptop. He currently has expressed intentions to reclaim his Klinklang from Rune.

Vision: A strange being (?, ??/??) who seems to be impersonating Vanilla perfectly. Believed to be tied to Colress, but in what way? Has a soft spot for Wolfgang, and has met with Cheri and Vanilla's parents.

Cross: Vanilla's Rotom, Cross (5, she/her), is a sweet, non-battling Pokémon whose main goal is Vanilla's safety. While she's normally sworn to secrecy, she'll break that in the name of saving her "boss". She's also quite nervous, pzzt.

Wolfgang: Wolfgang, or Wolfy (27, he/him) is a Hisuian Zoroark, Vanilla's half-sibling, and the father of four adorable Zorua kits with his mate, Mozart. He's currently serving as the interim leader of the Lostlorn Zoroark pack, but he's in frequent contact with Vanilla thanks to the power of cheap cell phones.

Cobalion: One of the Swords of Justice, Cobalion (many centuries, they/he) is convinced Vanilla will one day be a worthy chosen for their aims. As it is, however, they've left Vanilla to find her own answers. Unless the answers involve using the cool sword they've been gifted, in which case Cobalion is all in.

Cheri: Cheri (28, she/her) is the perpetual thorn in Vanilla's side, who also happens to be their recent ex and current "rival" after selling them out to Colress (and apologizing endlessly after the fact). A strong battler, she gifted Vanilla Chibi (formerly Fluffybutt) the Shiny Vanilluxe, and has expressed every intention of protecting Vanilla. As much as Vanilla insists he's really fine without the help.

Aspear: Aspear (28, he/him) is Cheri's twin, also a "rival" of Vanilla's, and perfectly happy to stay out of this situation, thank you.

What's the plot so far?

(Plot kept under the readmore for previously mentioned potentially triggering content.)

Prelude: After a battle with Cheri, Vanilla was bestowed with a pager Cheri had previously used to keep contact with Colress. Over the past few months, they've heard Colress speaking from the pager, but, frustratingly, nothing crucial. Lately, though, they've been hearing strange noises much like their own voice...

These strange noises seem corroborated by Wolfgang claiming to have seen somebody who looks, speaks, and even smells exactly like Vanilla, and by Cheri's own claims that she has talked to Vanilla's doppelganger.

At the same time, Colress has begun taking action, reaching out to Rune to demand the return of his Klinklang, to which he received a solid refusal. And at the same time, the Swords of Justice seem on edge...

Main Arc: Vanilla, with his increasing concern about being impersonated, begins to lower contact with others, and eventually, decides to return to their adoptive parents' home to lay low. When she finally returns, though, she learns that Maamaa, who was in her parent's care, was taken by her copycat to some unknown location. In order to figure out where, Vanilla tries working out who they're dealing with, before finally settling on making themselves distinguishable from the copy when in-person (fun fact for the summary people: what they settled on was 'way too much body spray'). This doesn't solve their problem though, and so they finally decide to try and make contact with Colress and this mystery person via Cheri's pager.

On the other side of things, we learn that this person's name is Vision, that she seems to have some sort of high title... and that she intends to be the one to respond to Vanilla's message, it seems. But what will come of that...?

What if I sign up as a prompter or participant but decide to do both?

No problem! The settings on the form should now be changed to allow you to change your response. You are also free to email or DM me.

But honestly, if you don't, I'm not overly worried about it. The primary purpose of the sign-ups is so that I can reach out to people if there are any issues regarding a prompt or a submission. The most important part is my ability to link usernames to an email address I can contact.

The question of prompting, participation, or both is more for me to gauge interest and intent, and is not meant to lock you into one or another.

The purpose of this fest is to be as chill and fun as possible for y'all and for me! No stress, no pressure, no obligation. You have no responsibility to "drop out" or to meet a deadline (other than posting by June 20.)

Are you sending out confirmation emails?

For claims: no. There are unlimited claims, and I can see on my end who claimed what. Claims are more for me to have an idea of what to expect than anything, as I've no intention of chasing people down, demanding to know where the banana fic is. Or idk waving a banana threateningly at you.

For sign-ups: yes(ish.) Originally I was not, but now I will when I have time. Sign-ups are my biggest need here. As stated above, I need to be able to contact you if there are any issues with prompts or submissions. I don't expect there to be, but it's a precaution. I'd rather be able to reach out to you and fix a problem rather than having to delete anything with no notice.

Because sign-ups are so important on my end, and knowing my own personal anxiety with things, I know I would feel better knowing my response was logged and accepted. Because I am a busy lady, you may not get confirmation right away, and you are free to reach out to me via Discord (danpuff#4958), Tumblr DMs (here), or via email ([email protected]) to check. I do not mind answering questions!

Why is there a Google Form for claims if you can claim on AO3?

Because I'm allowing posting to AO3 and Tumblr, I wanted people to have the ability to log a claim outside of AO3. Even if you'd rather post to AO3, you can use the Google Form. By claiming a prompt on AO3, it will show up as a claim on your account.

As long as you have an open claim, it will show up when you post a new work, as an option you can select. If you do not want sign-ups or claims staring at you when you're in AO3, the Google form is fine. It's mostly a matter of preference!

Re: Mod Prompts, Do I have to use every part of a prompt in my creation?

Nope! Prompts are meant to inspire! Look at the Fruits as the "important" bit of the prompt, and the additional information as just that: additional inspiration you can use or discard as desired!

Does a fruit have to show up in the fic?

Yep! While the symbolism of fruit alone can be inspiring, this is a fruit fest and I wanna see some fruit! An actual, whole fruit must appear in the fic, though you are free to turn it into juice or jam or pie, if you want!

Where will creations be posted?

AO3 or Tumblr! On AO3 you can post in the collection (here) and on Tumblr you just tag this account so we can see it, reblog it, and log it!

So I realize I've not been terribly active on here lately, but as I was tagged in the recent SSOblr D&D post and I noticed in the tags someone mentioning ROJ, I figured I'd make a post real quick filling in about ROJ. There will be a reblog very shortly of this post with a list of relevant links to ROJ so it doesn't die in the tags.

For those of you who don't know, I've been working on a project called Riders of Jorvik. You may have seen some of the Circle sigils and faction symbols I've made for this project on here already. Riders of Jorvik (ROJ) is a TTRPG inspired by SSO. The shorthand is to say that it's D&D for SSO, though more technical in TTRPGs ROJ is its own system. It would be like saying that D&D and ROJ are both board games, but they both have their own rules, one isn't an expansion for the other. That said, my aim is also to make ROJ easier to pick up than D&D, and I'm getting very close to rereleasing the guidebook with its 1.1 update with a lot of feedback from the community, which will likely coincide with some limited physical editions in giveaways.

I've been mostly active on Insta as I've been working on ROJ for almost two years now, and while I appreciate all the support the SSOblr community has shown WOJ and my projects in the past, my work with JC proved something I already knew, that the Insta community is the largest of SSO's communities at the moment that doesn't require recording, and I wanted to get ROJ in front of as many people as I could to find playtesters. That said, I have promoted the ROJ Discord in the past here and would recommend it again if you have any interest in playing ROJ, news about ROJ, or TTRPGs in general.

I have, before ROJ, run SSO in D&D before on an old podcast that is now deleted. That said, I still have all the resources for it and if there is anyone with an interest in the supplements I built to get that setting to work, they're available on the Discord, or you can DM me for the link. All of the ROJ files are available for public download on the ROJ website as well if you want to pick it up, but don't want to join the Discord. Even though it's not done, I would recommend the 1.1 beta file for the added TTRPG glossary and resources, particularly for new players picking up the hobby. I'm also happy to help beginners pick up their first games on the server and learn the ropes, of ROJ or D&D.

If you're interested in playing ROJ but don't have a current table, I run open games on the ROJ Discord. You don't need any play experience with any TTRPG to join, please just bring a completed character sheet. And if you don't know how to do that, on alternating weeks to my one shots, I hold open character creation workshops on call and am always available on the server to answer questions. The next one of these workshops is this Sunday actually (Sept 11 at 4pm EST)! These one shots will be going on hiatus soon so I can finish 1.1 for release, so please come join while I'm running them.

Rebuilt my Origin: Spirits of the Past discord server!

I adore this movie with my whole soul. If you’ve seen it and enjoy it this is place to ramble about it!

If you are looking at this post like, “Agito wtf even is Origin?” 😂 well…

Origin: Spirits of the Past, also known as Giniro no Kami no Agito is a 2006 post apocalyptic anime film made by Studio Gonzo. It features themes of moving on from the past, harmony with humans and nature, and centers a character coping with survivor’s guilt.

There are sentient trees, superpowers, a communal refugee town built out of ruins, a ruthless miltary state, gorgeous backgrounds and subtle worldbuilding. It also features some stunning animation and music. The two main characters are Agito and Toola.

If you like post apocalyptic stories with themes if hope, or like, Nausicaä of the valley of the wind or Kipo and the age of wonderbeasts, this should be right up your alley.

As a content warning Origin is a little darker than Kipo though not as dark as Nausicaä. It contains body horror in the form of skin transforming into vines or branches. It’s not a horror movie but the content warning should still be here.

KOKIA did the opening and ending songs and they are absolutely amazing.
