On the first of July yesterday, I finished my first novel, which I want to publish.  To be honest, I feel strange - nothing and fixed joy at the same time. My ego is screaming that nothing will come out, and my heart is fluttering like I'm in love for the first time. It really is an incredible feeling. This book is dedicated to the people who have always been there for me. The novel is written in memory of a girl who changed my life forever. I worked on it through sweat and tears, immersing myself in the story more and more each time.

Enjolras is an AroAce god who only feels love for France, Justice, Revolution, and the people along side him in the fight. I mean just listen to ABC Cafe/Red & Black! Marius: “ROMANTIC ATTRACTION ROMANTIC LOVE 😍” Enjolras: “does not compute. VIVA LA FRANCE! 🇫🇷”

Grantaire is a disaster bisexual and allo-romantic who is hopelessly in love with Enjolras...the kind of love Enjolras DOES NOT UNDERSTAND! So he drinks, gambles, and helplessly pines. He only ends up on the barricade because he’s committed to always being near Enjolras because he’s such a simp.

So at the last stand on the barricade, it is about to fall and Grantaire comes out of hiding to stand and die with the man he loves. Enjolras’s love for the men who fought with him finally includes Grantaire. But Grantaire didn’t fight for France, he stood for his romantic love.

Then there’s the dying look of love between them.

Enjolras dies in love with Grantaire, thinking he finally embraced the cause.

Grantaire dies in love with Enjolras, thinking his romantic feelings are finally reciprocated.
