not mine I'm just sharing it cause I love this idea its pretty funny to imagine Branch just throwing shade at his Bros every chance he gets lol.
I even tried to think up some more just for fun.
Clay= "" wow Branch I gotta admit seeing how you have all your Bunker Rations precisely listed on here is giving me Goosebumps your accounting skills are pretty impressive "" Branch= "" thanks I got pretty good at keeping count of things while I was counting the days away since you guys walked out on me and Grandma ""
Floyd= "" Hey Branch could I please maybe Borrow a shirt? its pretty chilly outside and I didn't pack any I promise I'll give it back later ""
Branch= "" sorry Floyd but I don't have that many clothes that I'm comfortable with so I can't really afford to lose any of the clothes I do have and knowing you I'd probably have to wait over 20 years before I saw that Shirt again ""
Bruce= "" so Branch what do you think of my apple pie? ""
Branch= "" cold empty and alone sorta like I was after you left and never came back "" Bruce= "" urm would some cream help? ""
like I said its very fun to think about 😂😂😂😂

I just realized I could ask a bunch of dadler questions
What's his fav colour? Does he have a hard time with purple things once the virus is gone? (I read a fic where Moon had problems with purple 'cause of the virus, so I'm curious if dadler would have a similar situation)
Does he have a favourite flower?
What kind of music does he like?
How old is he? (I'd assume in his 30s at least but I figured I may as well ask)
What was he like pre virus? Was he happier and more energetic or was he just kinda always grumpy and tired?
What kind of clothes does he like wearing?
Does he have a favourite memory? Does he even remember much from before the virus?
That's about all I can think of tbh other than favourite food
"i just realized I could ask a bunch of Dadler questions"
Me: (IS HIT WITH A BEAM OF LIGHT SO BLINDING I COLLAPSE)
Oh . AAAA.. wow. Hfhdhd that's a lot of questions. I'm not used to people liking my ocs that much 🥺💕
I'll do my best.
One of Dadler's favorite color has either been light purple or blues. But he's always been a fan of brown and cream beige.
He has little reservations about Purple. If anything, he would argue (and probably has with Glitchtrap) that Afton always used shitty shades of purple. He likes lavender and the lighter colors. Which seems practically like a different color entirely to Afton's purple. So he isn't perturbed by it.
Favorite flower... Again, probably Lavender
Tumblr media
As far as music goes. He likes a lot of eighties rock. A lot of classic rock and a few grunge hits too. It's rare he really listens to anything pop. Even something that came out ten years ago. He tried to give death metal a chance, but too loud for his tastes. He has a soft spot for a good rock ballad.
As of the Lives AU he is 34.
Before the virus, he wasn't necessarily "happy" but he was definitely energetic. Strangely hyper fixated on whatever animatronic he was working on. He was a very bright student at the university. And although he was anti social and kept to himself, he was the kind of guy who could energetically ramble for hours over something that caught his interest.
Although, he did have a pension for having a smart mouth and sometimes correcting or butting in when he wasn't needed. He didn't have a lot of friends.
Probably known as the quiet loner. But once you get him talking he'd never shut up.
Dadler is a fan of wearing button down shirts and jeans typically. The man should diversify his wardrobe.
A favorite memory? Hmmm.
Seeing Foxy preform at the Mega Pizzaplex as he was falling apart is definitely one of his core memories.
But another one high up there...
I'm guessing it's not anything specific. But he loved the time, sitting on the carpet as a child, playing with toy trains, while his grandmother knitted in her rocking chair. Just those quiet moments. Also his grandmother showing him how to bake a pie is also pretty high up there. He really loves his grandma.
He remembers a lot before the virus... But also not a lot. He already had gaps in his memory in his childhood due to traumatic events he blocks out.
But while under Afton's control, he was taking a lot of weed and alcohol. So it's not like he remembers the details..... Even if he did have some control.... His posession wasn't a complete takeover like Vannys was. So his memory fares about as well as someone trying to recall a dream.
Like he remembers things more as a third party experience. A lot of Dadler lives is him going though his notes and realizing just how bad things actually were.
Favorite Food?
He likes apple and cinnamon pie.
Also is a huge fan of sushi.
Other than those few things it's hard to get him that excited about food.

My Chrissy Cunningham headcanons
Tumblr media
𝘿𝙄𝙎𝘾𝙇𝘼𝙄𝙈𝙀𝙍 : these are “my” head canons for Chrissy, we might not all agree on something about her so pls don’t get offended by any of these, please and thank you. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
♥︎Favorite movie is Grease
♥︎Favorite Holiday is Christmas, can't change my mind.
♥︎100% that person who sings in the shower, im not sure if anyone else has said that but i 100% believe she is that person.
♥︎We have seen that girl go to hell and back in matter of one episode, we seen the way she panics so i can hc that she fiddles with her sweaters and sleeves when she is nervous or starting to have a panic attack.
♥︎I feel like this girl knits, like i feel like her role model in life was her grandma before she passed away and she would always knit things for Chrissy from hats, blankets, socks, etc. After her grandma passed Chrissy learned how to knit and now it's one of her comfort hobbies.
♥︎Best baker ever. Not so much a great cook but when it comes to baking...that girl is a freaking god.
♥︎Her favorite movie might be Grease but her comfort movie is The Breakfast Club.
♥︎Her favorite ice cream flavor is either strawberry or vanilla bean.
♥︎Has a collection of bows, from different sizes, colors, and even textures/fabrics
♥︎Something tells me she was Pansexual but of course it was the 80s so she never told a soul about her slight attraction to girls.
♥︎Comfort food is homemade soup, usually chicken noodle or Italian wedding soup.
♥︎This girl has trauma, we all saw that, and we saw she was obviously afraid of her mother, i have a feeling her mother was mentally and possibly physically abusive. She was strict and was 100% one of those moms that told her child that they belonged in a kitchen, cooking and cleaning for their' loving' husbands.
♥︎Due to that i have a feeling Chrissy wasn't in love with Jason when they first got together and it was set up by her mother and Jason's parents, over time she slowly and truly started to fall for Jason but i don't believe she was truly in love with him in the start.
♥︎Says her favorite color is pink but it's yellow.
♥︎Favorite dessert is either apple pie or chocolate chip cookies
♥︎Favorite band was tears for fears
♥︎Favorite Disney princess is snow white.
♥︎Her happiest memory was when her and her family took a trip to Disney world when she was 12, it was one of her very few good memories she has of her and her mother.
♥︎Loves romance books, books in general but is literally addicted to romance novels.
♥︎Favorite flower is Dandelions
♥︎Has been doing cheer since she was 7 years old, it wasn't something she suddenly picked up when high school came up.
♥︎Big old softie for classic Christmas songs.
♥︎If Chrissy was a song it would be "Resonance" by Home-Odyssey

Happy pi day! I think stories are always better if they have a delicious pie in them. So here's a random list of pies on screen, that I lowkey want to make and eat. 🥧
🎞 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
🥧 Gooseberry Pie
The queen poisoned Snow before she could put it in the oven. That's the real tragedy. I've never had a gooseberry pie, but my dad has a small gooseberry bush that might produce enough for a pie some day.
🎞 Julie and Julia
🥧 Chocolate Silk Pie
Julie makes a pie in the opening of the movie while musing about how cooking brings her peace in a chaotic world. I had never had a chocolate silk pie before, but after the movie I looked up a recipe and made it. It's now one of my most requested pies at Thanksgiving. Although I like to use an oreo crust where Julie used a Graham cracker.
🎞 Big Fish
🥧 Apple Pie
Of course the perfect little idyllic town of Spectre, Alabama served hot apple pie. It looked real good too.
🎞 Kiki's Delivery Service
🥧 Herring Pie
At least I think it's a fish pie because of the design on top, not positive. Fish pie wouldn't be my favorite to eat. It was baked in a wood fired oven, and man, did the crust look amazing.
🎞 Harry Potter
🥧 Shepherd's Pie, Pumpkin Pasties, and Treacle Tart
(This includes the books as well since I think only the Pumpkin Pasties are mentioned in the movies.) Shepherd's pie is pure comfort food. We aren't really shown pumpkin pasties, but they sound like mini pumpkin hand pies. I saw Binging with Babish make Treacle tart (Harry's favorite) and now it's on my wish list. I just have to order some golden syrup from the UK to make it.
🎞 Tangled
🥧 Raspberry Rhubarb Pie?
We don't really know what kind of pie Rapunzel bakes in her tower kitchen, but the internet thinks it's raspberry rhubarb, which sounds awesome.
🎞 I, Robot
🥧 Sweet Potato Pie
I love how Will Smith's character is so excited for his Grandma's pie, that he just starts eating without even cutting a slice. Then he tells some stranger on the street to hold it or wear it. 🤣
🎞 Hook
🥧 Imagination Cream Pie
All the imaginary food in Neverland looked amazing to me as a kid. It would be fun to try to make a cream pie that was as colorful as the food in that scene. I wonder what flavor it should be? Inventing new pies is fun.
🎞 The Emperor's New Groove
🥧 Spinach Puffs
Arguably not pie, but it's a filling in a pasty, so close enough. Binging with Babish's recipe looks awesome, but I have yet to try it. Kronk is a proud cook, and I respect him for it.
🎞 Blazing Saddles
🥧 Cream Pie
They did more throwing than eating, but the pies still looked tasty, and it was a good time.
🎞 Waitress (movie and musical)
🥧 Marshmallow Pie, Dark Chocolate Strawberry Pie, Spiced Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Blackberry Pie, Butterscotch Banana Pudding Pie, Ham and Cheese Quiche, Spaghetti Pie, Pecan Cheesecake, Peach Pie, Cherry Pie, Chocolate Custard Pie, Cinnamon Custard (hope I remembered them all)
Before I saw Waitress, I had made pies, but I never thought about inventing new pies. Jenna got me thinking more creatively. I've since made my own versions of her Dark Chocolate Strawberry, Chocolate Silk, Spaghetti Pie, and Ham and Cheese Quiche. FYI, one of the pies on the DVD cover has a lazy lattice, and I noticed. 👀
📺 Monk
🥧 Chicken Pot Pie
Monk got the crust perfectly placed and then stalled while he counted the peas. It hurt my heart that I never got to see the finished product. I should make more pot pies, they are awesome.
📺 Avatar: The Last Airbender
🥧 Egg Custard Tarts
Avatar did not need a pie to be one of the best shows ever, but it did, because Avatar has it all. The face Aang makes when tempted with egg custard is adorable. Now I know why, as I made an egg custard a few years ago at Christmas.
📺 In Plain Sight
🥧 Lemon Meringue or Banana Cream (I didn't get a good look)
After a long hard day, Mary's partner got her a big slice of pie from a bakery and told her, "Eat pie. Pie makes everything better." Thank you, Marshall. We stan.
📺 The Dragon Prince
🥧 Jelly Tarts
Of course my favorite show has pie. They are based on an Israeli dessert, but they're close enough to pie for me. Callum's Spellbook has a recipe, although I might try making them with traditional pie dough. Maybe for the season 6 premier?🤞 I just have to decide which flavor. 🤔
📺 Adventure Time
🥧 Apple Pie (with crystal apples!)
I watched the first episode, and when they mentioned pie, I was like, this show is going to be good. Even though Tree Trunks was wisked to another dimension and never actually got to finish her pie, I ended up loving Adventure Time.
📺 Pushing Daisies
🥧 Mixed Berry Pie, Kiwi Cream Pie, Three Plum Pie, Apple Pie with Gruyere
No joke, my therapist recommended this show to me because she knew I loved baking pies. I, of corse, immediately identified with the sad pie maker who was obsessed with making pies as a way to cope. I binged the entire series, then found out it was cancelled, and processed to mourn for the next week. I still want to try to recreate some of their signature pies. The Kiwi Cream is so pretty.
🎮 The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom
🥧 Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Fruit Pie, Meat Pie, Fish Pie, Egg Tarts, and Cheesecake (it counts)
These the first video games I ever finished (my parents banned them so I didn't get to start playing until I was older). The combat still kind of scares me, but I took to the cooking right away. On my first play through, I was so excited to get Tabantha Wheat, so I could finally make pies. Wild's era Link is so much cooler because he's a pie maker. I always keep a few egg custard tarts in my inventory for some quick hearts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Happy pi day! Go eat a big slice. Pie makes everything better.
Please comment any pies I missed (I definitely haven't seen everything).
*Sweeny Todd, American Pie, Spongebob's bomb pie, and The Help aren't mentioned because their pies were not delicious.*

What's everybody's favorite food?
Twilight and Sky, immediately: Pumpkin soup!! :D Legend, deadpan: Who'd have guessed.
Wild: I've got a few, but I'll just list a couple. For dessert, I love fruitcake, it just... I don't know, I just really like it. But you have to make it right, I'm picky about it too. For like main course stuff, I like steak! The rarer the better! Twilight: Yeah, you practically eat it raw.
Legend: I like apple pie. Applesauce. Anything apple, really. But pie is the best use for it. Wind: Ooooh with ice cream! Legend, shrugging: Sure, with ice cream.
Time: I personally like a good omelette, and Malon makes the best. Malon, winking: Because we have the best milk and eggs around! Warriors, shuddering: Yeah, if the cuccoos don't kill you while you're trying to gather them.
Wind: I like pumpkin soup too, but only made by my grandma. The rest is yucky in comparison! Sky and Twi just don't get it. So outside of that, I also like crab! Crab legs are fun, you have to be violent before you can enjoy the meal. :) Sky: Wind, you're downright feral when it comes to breaking crab legs. Wind: Because it's fun!
Four: My favorite food is bread based! I love some good freshly baked bread. Garlic bread or cheese bread are the best. Warriors: Baguettes are good. But I like beef Bourguignon the best. Marinating beef in wine is just so good.
Malon: I love me some green bean casserole! And potato salad too.
*everyone looks at Hyrule*
Hyrule, sweating: Um, I don't know, I'll eat anything, really. Somebody want to make a suggestion?

Fall baking!
This is by far the blog I'm most excited to talk about, as baking is something I am passionate about, and mixing my love for fall into this hobby is the perfect match! In this blog, I'm going to talk about specifically baking recipes I've followed, rate how they turned out, and whether I'd recommend you try them on your own based on this.
For this first one, some people may not consider it a fall dessert, but I think the coffee and brown sugar flavours give it that warm and coziness fall desserts have. These are coffee cake cookies! I was inspired to make these from watching my favourite show Gilmore Girls where they mentioned having these, and I just had to recreate them. Following the recipe below, I would say that it turned out pretty good. The only thing I changed was how the recipe calls for all-purpose flour AND cake flour. Since at the time I made these, I didn't have cake flour, I simply just used more all-purpose flour and they still turned out great. I'd give these cookies an 8.5/10.
Tumblr media
This next recipe is one I've made countless times with my Mom, and it has turned into a staple dessert at my house. Apple crisp. Personally, I prefer apple crisp over apple pie, and this recipe I found is amazing. I didn't change anything around in this particular recipe, aside from adding french vanilla ice cream to the end product. Because it's meant to be a little messy looking, I think presentation isn't as important, which makes it an easy beginner recipe in my opinion. I would give this recipe a solid 8/10.
Tumblr media
This last recipe is probably my most enjoyed by friends and family, Chai Latte Cupcakes. I made these at the beginning of the fall and brought them to my workplace, and everyone loved them. I do have to say they did turn out pretty good. This recipe also calls for cake flour, which I was able to get this time. However, I find cupcakes a little trickier than a type of cookie or crumble, because it's a little bit harder to achieve a perfect presentation with the icing. Overall, these were a huge hit and tasted incredible, definitely a 9/10 in my opinion.
Tumblr media
I really wish I got the chance to bake more, but I'm making it a goal to do it more often, especially a pumpkin flavoured dessert, because embarrassingly enough I didn't even make one... Overall, I would highly recommend trying these 3 recipes if you are in the baking mood, they're perfect for fall and absolutely delicious!

Just saw your post! So here are some asks for you
1) what made you start writing fan fiction
2) all time favorite foods?
3) what career/ job do you want to be?
4) what was your first fandom you were in?
Hey, thank you so much for the ask!!!
1.) I started writing fanfiction, well firstly because it was a creative outlet for me. I was actually writing fanfiction before I really knew what it was, and then I posted my first fic to Wattpad when I was like eleven (It was very bad and was certainly cringey) but I was surprised by the comments that told me that they loved my story and that people we're literally waiting to see what I posted next. I got a comment on that story, that told me that my story had filled them with so much joy and that it had pulled them through a rough patch. Every time I've written a fic after that, I've always thought that although not everyone was going to like it, it might make one person happy and that was good enough for me. I love to write, and if my writing could at the very least make one person happy, I owe it to that one person to write that story.
2.) I absolutely love curries (My favourite is massaman), and I also love spaghetti but specifically my family spaghetti, we have a family recipe from my great grandma, and I know when we have that the whole families going to come over (I'm very close with my family) so I always associate the spaghetti with big family nights. In terms of sweets, I love vanilla ice cream with apple pie, and I love cheesecakes. But my favourite dessert is The Christmas ice-cream me and my mum make every year, we make enough to pretty much get us through the whole summer.
3.) I want to be an English/Drama teacher! I've always been someone who loves school, even when I'm struggling with content because I love being able to learn. This might sound silly, but one of my biggest inspirations in life is my drama teacher, he's always encouraging us to try our best and he was one of the first people to support my writing. I would write screenplays for the drama class, and one of my favourite things I've ever written was a horror piece, I was told by a lot of people when I showed them that script that it wasn't really the type of thing a teenage girl should write and that I should change a lot of things in it so that it was more of a love story. So, I took my script to him and asked him to read through it, I expected him to flick through the pages and say what everyone else said, but he read the whole thing start to finish and told me that he thought that it was brilliant and that he could tell that I was the one who wrote it, I mentioned what other people ha said about the script, and he said "Well then it's not really your story, if you want to write a love story then you can write a love story, but I know how much you wanted to write this story and I'm proud that you wrote it." I would later win a school award for my script and mini performance of it. So, I want to be a teacher, so that I can be the person who encourages other kids like me to write the stories and perform the plays they want. I want to be someone who can encourage people to create, I want to be able to support people the way that my teacher has supported me.
4.) My first fandom that I can recall. would probably be the dsmp, I never really posted to much about it but it was one of the first things I filled my notebook with ideas for fics. I'm also and still am a fan of stars align, which is what I posted my first ao3 fics about. I orphaned some of them though, but a majority of them were about one ship Taiyou Ishigami and Nao Tsukinose, but I'm glad that i orphaned them and didn't delete the because I can still look back at them and see how much I've grown with my writing from them.
Once again thank you so much for the ask!!! And i hope my answers satisfied you :)

Three things I want to know about you:
Your sock size
What style earrings you wear most often
Your thoughts on tea
You could ask anything and this is what you got?
Good.
Your sock size
Women's socks. I don't know. I'm a 7 - 7.5 US Women's shoe. I just go to the sock aisle and buy women's socks. Or, if there are sizes listed, whatever includes my shoe size.
.
Your thoughts on tea
I like tea very much. I prefer coffee, but once the cold times roll around, I drink almost as much tea as coffee. I prefer black teas and my absolute favorite is Tazo's Awake English Breakfast. As with my coffee, no sugar, only cream.
I'm pretty tolerant to caffeine now, so I actually drink tea in the evenings when I want to calm down! 🤣
But it's lovely when I have sweet things. I like coffee and milk with my baked goods, but there is something nice about a cup of strong tea and cookies for desert. mmmm. cozy.
Also. Coffee goes in my Haunted Mansion mug, but tea goes in my dala horse mug. This is important because the HM mug is black and the dala horse one is white. I like the alchemy of watching the tea steep and prefer to see the color of it as it browns so I know when to take the bag out before it gets too bitter.
I also make mini-pots of loose tea. I am working through a black tea called Grandma's Apple Pie that has dried apples and cinnamon and spices in it. It is my all-time favorite, but the local tea shop that made it went out of business during pandemic and I'm trying to stretch out my last tin.... sigh.
.
What style earrings you wear most often
Here! I'll show you some of my favorites! (Sorry about the poor photography!)
I am in an earring phase at the moment and have a lot of faves. I'm pretty particular because I have high nickel sensitivity.
I get a lot of my best stuff from my favorite local gift shop that deals in local artmakers:
Tumblr media
That black one is actually one of a favorite pair but I lost one when I was in Orlando last May 😩 so I pair it with a sword and moon I found at Spirit Halloween.
Speaking of Spirit Halloween, I picked up these shinies...which I will wear year round because that's my jam:
Tumblr media
Yes, those are little blood-splattered mirror knives with jewel blood droplets. eeeee
And sometimes I wanna go all elegant like, so here are some of my favorites in my gold section:
Tumblr media
Oh! And if I wanna keep it dainty...animal studs!
Tumblr media
(Hard to see, but those are gold origami fox heads, rose gold antlers, and silver origami bunnies. I got them at an art sale in Brooklyn.)
And I often troll Etsy for lovely things, like these asymetrical starburst and celestial pairs:
Tumblr media
I keep them bundled with a third post because I have a double piercing in my right ear. (There used to be three there, but I let the highest one close.)
But having three spots for earrings means I have room for my absolutely favorite set...I wear Asoka's lightsabers in my right and the Darksaber in my left:
Tumblr media
I will never ever get over how high quality these are and I love them so much and can't recommend them enough. (You can find them here...they're sold individually so you can mix and match!)

In "My Grandma's Pumpkin Pie Is So Good," a cozy and inviting illustration showcases a slice of grandma's famous pumpkin pie, complete with a dollop of whipped cream. The design evokes the warmth of family gatherings and the mouthwatering aroma of a grandmother's kitchen. This design is perfect for those who have fond memories of their grandma's cooking, for Thanksgiving celebrations, or as a delightful gift to share the love and comfort of homemade pumpkin pie. What's your favourite ice cream flavour?
Tumblr media
:3c! butter pecan, and she better be LOADED. (rocky road, pistachio, coffee, and jamocha almond fudge (baskin robbins flavor) are also on the list of top tier flavors for me :3c)
ok but hang on. so butter pecan holds a lot of nostalgia and Good Feelings and Memories for me, a lot of warmth. my grandma was the one who introduced me to this flavor, and always was happy to plop a scoop into one of those glass dessert bowls for me. but i'll tell ya: i'm starting to wonder if i'd somehow gotten the flavor wrong.
cuz like. i'm a 90s kid, ok, and flavors sure do change. i know one thing and it's that it WAS the Dreyer's brand (also known as Edy's, because america is stupid like that (take Carls Jr. vs Hardee's, for example IT'S THE SAME THING, WHY)) and i'm PRETTY SURE it was the Grand because Slow Churned may have been a Later thing? like more recent, within the past 10/15 years? and i coulda sworn it had toffee bits or something when i was little. but it wasn't a toffee-specific ice cream.
also there used to be a gelato brand that had THE. FUCKING. BEST. key lime pie gelato ON GOD. it was like. mello or something..?? now that was mid-late 2000s. i know this because i was at least 19 and living on my own. i have a lot of food-based memories don't look at me. also was def playing Wrath at the time STOP LOOKING AT ME,
i also realy like the Halo Top line tho, and a lot of the Enlightened stuff (MARSHMALLOW PEANUT BUTTER SWIRL BABY MY LOVE AND MY LIFE PLEASE COME BACK. PLEASE PLEASE P L E A S E COME BACK) and i'm glad i'm not seeing Arctic Zero anywhere anymore because that shit was TRASH. anyway did you guys ever know i wanted to be a junk food blogger hahaha

BEST TV & MOVIES
The Golden Girls: I never watched it growing up but it’s wild what a great show it was.
Malice: Okay, do you know anything about this movie? If not, don’t look it up. Just watch it. I was ON CLOUD NINE watching this one. So many twists, there’s a great Alex Baldwin monologue in it, it’s just a party of a movie. Especially if you love early 90s semi-sexy psychological thrillers, WHICH I DO. Such a great movie.
Trapped: Nathan’s first season premiered and was reviewed in The Globe and Mail!
Top Gun Maverick: I know, who even am I? This is so out of character, but I loved it.
PEN15: Best new show I’ve seen in years. All women born in the mid 80s need to watch it.
The Thomas Crown Affair: Love 90s movies like this.
The Bear: Just a great first season.
The Summer I Turned Pretty: This was just a perfect summer/teen show that I didn’t know that I needed.
Barbarian: Such a perfect movie. Bill Skarsgård can do absolutely no wrong.
The Crown: Depressing to binge watch all at once, but really good overall.
Bob’s Burgers (Christmas episode): I WILL NOT SHUT UP ABOUT IT.
BEST PURCHASES
The lip exfoliator & lip butter from Three Ships.
Every single tee tree product at The Body Shop. (As well as their whole Wild Pine collection.)
The AG Hair Colour Savour Mask that Ulta has apparently stopped selling?!
Gorgeous address labels from Zazzle.
Vicks bath crystals.
Aerie black leggings with pockets.
Holler And Glow foot mask from Target.
Black, tulle slip dress from Free People.
BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENTS
The sandwiches at Alidoro in the West Village.
Sullivan Street Bakery.
Angelina Bakery in Bryant Park.
Literally all Kylie Skin products.
Any product described as “lip oil” - BUY SOME DAMN LIP BALM FOR THE SAME EFFECT, PEOPLE.
So many recipes from Half Baked Harvest (the ginger sesame noodles with mushrooms and the sesame garlic chili oil noodles, for example). It’s a beautifully curated site but with such lackluster flavours in the recipes.
SLT. I love pilates, but this was just wretched.
The continued celebration of The Kardashians.
Part Two of the In America exhibit at The Met.
Halloween Ends. Just a mess of a movie.
A Christmas Carol (the one-man show on Broadway) was hell on earth.
I stand by all of these opinions!
And here are my favourites from 2021, if you’re interested!

30 - 43 for the this or that soft asks.
30: Concerts! I used to go to the theater or the film festival way back when I was a teen and they were wonderful. <3 I tried to enjoy concerts but the crowding, the stereo music in a confined area indoors makes my head hurt.
31: Cherries, absolutely! Not a big cream fan, unless it happens to be whip cream. X'D I leave the next scoop of coolwhip with basically nothing for the pie with how much I eat a spoonful!
32: Candles smell wonderful, but I have the tiniest bit of fires so I always blow them out so I'd rather have a bed full of pillows than candles going all night.
33: Neither because I'm scared of deep bodies of water. :'D
34: 33: Time turner, time travel is cool and back when I used to be a HP fan (I'm no longer one mind you! We respect and love our trans friends here) and I used to have that time turner necklace that my mom got me for christmas and I was SO happy!
35: Mermaids I love for the aesthestic and there's always something different and new when you can draw them. Angels are a meh since I'm not really religious.
36: Ugh, coffee tastes gross on its own! Tea isn't big on me either and I'm really picky with flavors that don't make me think this is just water and dirt.
37: I am neutral, since I love make up and how creative people can get, I understand it's advertising gives mixed messages that you can't be beautiful without makeup, and people will judge you regardless if you're wearing too much. Natural is best hypothetically, but some people feel self conscious showing their face and they shouldn't have to but it's their decision.
38: YOU CAN BE MY LOVER DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE BLACK OR WHITE
Tumblr media
39: Both are beautiful to me! My sister has gotten into painting, and her art is SUPERB? I super want her to take starter commissions but it's hard getting yourself out there.
40: I'm a night owl all the way 🦉🦉
41: I'm an extro-introverted. I don't really like starting conversations and prefer to be home with my own company where my comfort and quiet is than going somewhere loud and exciting. However, I also might fall heavily into depression when I have nothing to and no one to talk to. On top of ADHD it sometimes feels like I'm like my cat who wants to go on the porch and mostly comes out with me taking the dog out, and cries when he's shut out of the house and all alone. X'D
42: WINTER <3 surprisingly can't wait for snow this year. We might get a lot this year!
43: Mostly classic since I grew up with a lot of hand-me-downs and I like grandma furniture and antiques. :] But I also love the convience and comfort the modern era brings and I'm fairly good with tech as my parents call it, which is silly in itself cause it's mostly helping with router issues or computer issues!
PHEW... that was a lot of questions. Hopefully that was everything

Day 8
Bethan
My goodness, time really does fly when you’re having fun.
Today was/is our last day up in the sticks with Grandad - we head back to Nairobi tomorrow to catch a plane down to the coast.
Slow morning (what’s new!) and we spent some time packing our cases and sorting out what we want to take with us down to Malindi. It’s a medium size plane down to the coast, so we can only take a certain weight down with us. We’ve all downsized drastically and are just taking a weeks’ worth of stuff in two cases rather than all our stuff in four. We’re going to pay a bit more so our nice taxi man tomorrow will drop the spare cases at Brenda’s Nairobi apartment to keep safe.
Once we did that, I was going to shower, but apparently we had to leave for 11:30. No one told me anyway.
This time, we turned right on the main road to Naro Moru village to visit St Phillip’s church, just up on the hill.
This was the spot the late Majesty Lizzie prayed at and planted a tree, three days before she became Queen after the death of her father when she was visiting Treetops in 1952 - another famous landmark but wasn’t on the list this time. It’s the big one just to the right of the door.
Any other time, it wouldn’t necessarily be top of my list of things I’d want to do or see, but given recent events, it felt like something special to go see.
Anyways, we got there and the gate was shut. Wicked.
Managed to get a few pics through the hedge while Grandad and Foy looked at the car engine. Apparently the engine temperature gage is also now playing up and was telling us it was about to explode. False alarm though!
Turned around and went back up towards Nanyuki to our favourite watering hole, the One Stop, for lunch.
Most of us had lovely curries and a chicken pie.
Foy, in true Foy style, had pancakes and honey - I think this is the third time he ordered pancakes for lunch and the waitresses thought it was hilarious. But hey! If it ain’t broke!
To be fair, he did also get a salad to take home. Glad he’s getting some vitamins in somewhere.
Back to the house for 3ish, and in good time too, as the heavens opened. It’s been very very very dry here recently, more so than usual, so the rain was very welcome and helped freshen the air.
We got some ice cream from the shop on the way home too and invited Muthoni and her two children to join us for a sweet treat!
The kids are so lovely, and I gave them a few bob each for doing such a good job of looking after my Grandad. I have it on good authority it’ll mostly be spent on sweeties and colouring books!
Rest of the eve has been spent showering and sharing what last cans of White Cap Lager and Savana Cider we have left in the fridge.
I had a chat with my bestie Anya (shout out to you hun!) for a while and gave her a virtual tour the house, and we even managed to play a few games of Rummikub with Grandma online, who’s back on Anglesey - the magic of technology will never cease to amaze me.
Early night for us today, alarm set for 5.15am🤮
