It’s taken weeks but this old sopranino ukulele I found at work plays again for the first time in possibly decades. There are still some adjustments that need to be made and I’m going to fix up some of the cracks and then give it a new lacquer. But I’m so proud of myself for bringing life to something that’s sat around for years with no hope of ever being playable again.

And as a special treat since standard low C strings don’t fit I reinforced the saddle and tuned it to the alternate DGBE tuning an octave above the baritone ukulele.

Also special thanks to my grandma who has helped me every step of the way and helped fund this project. Without her tools and small craft expertise I wouldn’t have made it very far.
