UUUUUHHH HELLO

take a moment to imagine Kagome (and involuntarily Koga since he's going to go where SHE goes) babysitting Miroku and Sango's children while they go off to slay a demon in a neighboring village.... and Koga gets to witness Kagome with her mom mode activated with the feeding, the nurturing, the "oh my god koga help I have no clue how to teach a boy how to pee" and he internally just goes nuts bc of how adorable the entire scene is and maybe before they fall asleep (well, Kagome at least before Koga stays up for security purposes...) theyre sitting the fire and Koga just wraps his arm around Kagome's waist and says,

“I'll admit... for human runts, they're pretty cute."

Kagome smiles. "Well, duh. All little kids are cute... Thanks for coming to help me out with them."

Koga laughs softly, and Kagome admires his attempt to be considerate and not wake the sleeping twins and newest son that are resting a few feet away from them. "No problem." He pauses. "You know what would be even better?"

"What?" She asks, stoking the fire gently and lifting her head to meet the gaze she feels on her.

"Having some of our own." Although Koga makes this proclamation with his usual confident tone, Kagome spies the faint hitch in his breath and the quick bob of his Adam's Apple as he swallows. But of course, Koga is Koga and attempts to hide anything concerning nervousness with a nonchalant, toothy grin.

Kagome huddles closer, reaching upwards to brush her lips along his hot cheek.

"I'd like that someday."

Koga's heart nearly implodes.

whoopsie modern!koga headcanon but

honestly koga would be the type of mans to drink and drink and drink at a party but it takes him FOREVER to get drunk so by the end of the night he's maybe a little bit tipsy while everyone else is absolutely shitfaced and he starts disliking parties bc he's the last "man" standing and everyone's being annoying and loud or the stench of vomit and drugs make his head spin

so now he just chooses to drink beer and snuggle while watching Queer Eye on Netflix with Kagome because she enjoys the show LOL
