ALRIGHT after some technological mishaps (laptop charger needed fixed), the first round of check in commission updates should be heading to the relevant email inboxes over the weekend! there are still some emails I need to reply to, and I’m aiming to get those done over the next couple of days as well, but at long last it should be smooth sailing from here on out :)

just so i have a post about it instead of vague complaining in tags— my activity will most likely be sparse until the 17th. i have about 10 days to complete two final projects, one of which is in its beginning stages and the other a large piece of group work that's on . kind of severe crunch time, so ic activity will not really be happening much if at all!

if there's anything that anyone should know about me as revalinker, it's that i'm completely obsessed with the idea of link always being wrapped around revali for cuddles, for napping on him, etc., and revali just letting him because he's so fond of link he can't and won't say no. link is wrapped around revali's finger (his wing?) physically; revali is wrapped around link's finger metaphorically.

and for the next lines, consider the idea of revali with this warped idea of loving and being loved in his status as a champion, and him trying to maintain a boundary between the two of them. he tries to find every excuse why he and link can't be together even though he's desperately in love with link anyway; they're champions and have responsibilities to their people, they're foils to each others, they butt heads too often, they're too different to be together, or what would the other champions, or the people of hyrule think if they knew they were together? and yet still, they can't help but continue to seek each other out and intertwine and wrap around each other once more.

"if we touch i know i can never go back" when he gets sent back in time by rauru or something, it was actually just to send his spirit to see the champions one last time as a fulfilled wish, and rauru tells him not to touch anyone in the past because he'll get stuck there with no way of returning to the present if he does (but rauru is fully aware of what link is about to do 😋)

hylians and rito aren't long lived, especially not over a hundred years if that's how far back link went, but when link doesn't return from the past, rauru takes zelda to rito village goddess statue, where there is now a tablet on revali's landing, memorializing link and revali :)

you know, I keep thinking about how much I'd get written if I had any self discipline at all and then like. doing nothing about it bc like. who's gonna enforce it? not me.

#personal;#like the biggest issue I have is that like #once my laptop is on then at MOST I have until I catch up on tumblr #before I habitually open XIV #and once XIV is open nothing's gonna get done #days I do chores I do them in the morning before the laptop is on specifically for this reason (that and any later and I'm too tired)#like I know- I /know/- what I need in order to get myself to write. I know all the little things #but I don't have the self discipline bc by the time i remember i was gonna XIV is open #and the day is dedicated to dissociation of varying levels depending on what's happening in XIV #or if I get distracted with a game on my tablet #and like....I love my son but his insistence on being in my lap doesn't help #bc being unable to move makes it hard to not just fucking dissociate #but even if I kick him off he's back in like 5m and it gets frustrating if i try #the deck is stacked so SO against me #plus like.....#even if I do the thing what validation will I get??#and if no validation it's hard to even pretend to tru to start #plus the longer I go without writing like. an object at rest will stay at rest #at this point I think I'm lowkey terrified of trying to write and just staring at an empty document or putting out shit no one understands #hhnnngggg #anyway I've rambled enough for the morning I'm not trying to depression spiral here

With that being said-- how do people feel about a "permanent" inbox call post? Basically just a list of people commenting below a post, one that maybe specifies whether people prefer random IC interactions or want asks leaning more to IC questions/ooc headcanons stuff?

I know it's silly because if we're mutuals, we shouldn't be afraid to reach out to each other, BUT !! I also know some people do not like random asks, so... it would just be for the sake of... "You have permission to send random things whenever you feel like it" but of course it's not like I'm expecting you to answer things immediately after I send them either.
