So.. tumblr speaking, can we suppose that our (current) Cheng Xiaoshi is a reblog of the original post (timeline) Cheng Xiaoshi (which was deleted), but continue to live as a post reblogged by Lu Guang 🤔🤔🤔
Like, everyone can see it through Lu Guang's reblog, but when you go to the original, it's nowhere to be found :D
Barely scratching the surface of a fic idea not sure if I'll follow through because it feels like a lot of work to create the timeline:
Eddie and his friends battled upside down horrors in 1985-1986 ( Chrissy, Gareth, Jeff, and Grant/Freak). Eddie (possibly bc he's 4 and had been part of the initial experiments at Hawkins labs or just bc he's so unlucky) is stuck in the upside down.
He sets up his 'home base' in what turns out to be the Hendersons' upside down version house.
Somehow he finds a thin barrier and becomes 5 year old Dustin's 'imaginary friend'.
then Barb Holland goes missing, and Will Byers goes missing...(the start of the more canon events w/ Eddie's guidance of Dustin start in 93' and play out from there).
Eventual Steddie when Steve is the next person outside of Dustin who can see Eddie when not in the upside down.
When theyre in the upside down they can physically verify Eddie as real and not just Dustin's imaginary friend. Like once Will comes back he's all terror-stricken but looks at Dustin and is like- 'Eddies real'.
I'm not sure what I'm doing with all these little pieces but they do keep resurfacing with more ideas:
Rationally Dustin knew he wasn’t real. A figment of ideals he had created and held dear.
An older brother figure, unwaveringly loyal, kind of a dick at times, hilarious, and always there for him.
He had told Will about him once. When they had still been little, when these types of things were still acceptable. Once they grew to a certain age Dustin had an inkling that no one still had their imaginary friends.
But he still had Eddie.
ahhh idk! I'm not sure if I'll chase this one or flesh it out, but still wanted to share what's been rattling around in my skull.
Lil @whitelittlebunny hey, look at this 🛐 thank you for this idea *aggressively barks* *goes feral* *commits arson* *emits hardcore simping energy* AKAJHAKAKAKSKAKAKALAKKSKAKAKAKAJAAGAGAGAGGAGAGAHAGAHAHAARFFFFARFFFFARFFAFAR
I don't usually use tumblr all that much, but for the last few days i've been going deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole that is analyzing S7E3 of Rick and Morty, so yo girl's here to talk about it (mostly about Rick and Unity).
In S7E3 of Rick and Morty 'Air Force Wong' Unity assimilates the entire state of Virginia with the argument that it is worried for Rick's well being.
however, what pissed me off is when Dr.Wong sided with Unity: "Alright, I'm gonna commit a cardinal sin in couple's therapy here, but Rick, i think you're wrong." I do not understand this in the slightest. Sure, Rick ghosted Unity, but in his defense, he was dumped which took a toll on him, leading up to him attempting suicide, so of course he wouldn't want it around him, and that's understandable.
Unity broke a boundary, invaded Rick's home planet, home country with the only excuse that it was worried for him. Rick had every right to stop talking to it, however Dr.Wong did NOT have the whole story and she shouldn't have butted in. This we could partially blame Rick, because he did not fill Dr.Wong in fully before having that conversation, which HE requested for her to be a part of in the first place.
"You controlling things is the explanation, and we agreed you wouldn't do it where i work." This is yet another solid proof on how Unity broke Rick's boundaries, this probably being something they agreed on in the past. In some situations, boundaries CAN be broken if it's an intervention or emergency, this, in my humble opinion, WAS NOT an emergency.
"You had an outer space lady who was worried for your life and your response was hostile enough to cause a huge problem." I hate everything about this. This is borderline hypocritical, considering that Unity did something just as drastic if not MORE drastic, yet Rick is the one taking all the flame for it, for not wanting it around him. So, basically, he was being flamed for putting up a boundary (not in a very appropriate way, but it's a big deal for him to do it in the first place). Unity is at fault for making Rick react the way he did, which in my opinion, wasn't as drastic as Dr.Wong makes it out to be. His hostile reaction was understandable, to the drastic measure Unity has enforced. It did not need to go through all that trouble just to try to contact Rick, when clearly he did not want want it to.
Another thing i noticed is when Unity finished releasing everyone, how the tables have turned from:
u:"Do you not trust me, Rick?" r:"I don't trust you."
to..
r:"I trust you now." u:"That's nice, but i don't trust you."
This is honestly something i only noticed as i was writing this, and it hits HARD. As much as Unity is biased for not trusting Rick, so was he when he didn't trust it. They both have very valid points as to why not to trust one another.
So, to conclude this very first, EXTREMELY MESSY post, Unity should've dialed it back a couple of notches, Rick should've been more open about his part with it, and Wong should've stayed in her place. Both Rick and Unity have a lot of things to unpack, and until either of them are willing to sit down and talk, they'll never be able to work it out.
teaser: Grim Reaper!Azriel x healer!Reader ~ coming Feb. 24th 2023
The knock of Death against your door is soft, yet powerful. You don’t even have to ponder, having already expected the male hidden behind his shadows.
Confident steps carry you to the door where you peek through a tiny hole in the wood. His face is veiled in shadows, his hat drawn, a dark cloak completing his appearance.
You draw in a deep breath, readying yourself for you every first encounter with Him—the Lord of Death. Azriel, borne of shadow and darkness.
And then your own fingers curl around the cool handle, almost teasingly, like you’re a playing death once again, you open the door, your eyes lifting to the covered face, the male looming over you. His face is shielded, yet his eyes, the deep hazel, stand out—are a stark contrast to his appearance. They pierce right into your soul and you know that in this very moment Death knows what you have done in your life. Every good and every bad deed, it is all revealed to him.
Icy cold creeps into your skin, almost making it burn. You can see your breath, can feel your heart beat in your throat. It is true what they say, his biting grip starts when you make eye contact with him.
Your voice is a breathy whisper, in his ears the most erotic sound he has ever heard when you say, “I was expecting you, Lord of Death.”
I've been following your blog for a lil bit, and I was wondering, what was your inspiration for creating Laura?
Blessed be <3
Hi there!! Thanks for your support!! <3
As for Laura.... she's been through a few phases.
At first, she was actually supposed to be a vampire. Her name comes from the main character in Carmilla, Laura, the one that gets lesbianed by the vampire girl.
She was supposed to be a vampire maid that could phase through walls and become intangible. Physically she'd be rather skinny and pale with white hair, probably having albinism. She wasn't a fighter at all, she would've been more of a watcher/snitch that told Integra about anything unusual, kind of like Pip post-canon. She was quite weak physically and rather elegant/even slightly meek, but she had a tongue on her, and by that I mean she taunts and haunts her opponents while Alucard kills them because she didn't like to get her hands dirty. The scene that made me want to create her was the assault on the Hellsing manor, where she'd mock Luke or Jan about the other's fates once they got their asses beat or tell Integra what was going on and update her about it.
Then, I remembered that in canon werewolves were the ones that could become intangible (we never see any vampire other than Alucard do that, and he's cheated so he doesn't count), and I thought about it a bit more, and the character design for the Original Laura didn't really match what I'd imagine (my) werewolf oc to be like, so I changed her up. Her hair became brown and her discreet personality became more rough; that's also why Laura wasn't that strong at the beginning.
As for her name and identity, it's mostly because I love the story of the beast of Gévaudan (and had a hyperfixation on it when I was 13) and wanted to do something with that idea. When I did some more research I also remembered Jean Chastel, and thought it would be a very interesting idea to do something with that. Besides, "Laura Chastel" lowkey sounds cool.
So I mixed up the two and thus Current Laura was born, but she too went through a bit more changes even when I started posting her. Which is why her current personality is a bit different than the one from the very beginning. She is now way less respectful and impassive, also she was supposed to have an axe. Her very first design is still on my blog, the first thing I posted about her actually.
Her wolf form was also brown at the beginning, but now it's black. It's also bigger, although it was supposed to be quite huge from the beginning.
Maybe I should do something with that vampire maid prototype. It could be an interesting concept. Also, maybe I could explain the details of Laura's design.
i’m going to expand on this later but i feel like there would be two different scenarios for c*ckwarming with eddie.
you have dom!eddie, who’s either sick of your sh*t and told you to sit on his d*ck and just sit there or who’s had a long day and just wants a close, intimate moment with his girlfriend.
then you have sub!eddie that’s just been begging — no craving your attention. he’s been bugging you and slightly irritating you with his brattiness, and you punish him by having your warm, slick walls wrapped tightly around his d*ck and do absolutely nothing but tease and taunt him.
Do you all know the "She used to be mine" song from Waitress musical? If not go and listen to it rn cause this idea is living in my mind rent free.
Basically I just imagine Dazai telling Atsushi about Chuuya, from when they were parnters back in mafia times. Gonna post lyrics here and show you that I am right ehe
Yeah so that would be an allusion to his time in PM me thinks (you can see it's gonna be real professional mhm)
So still about how he felt when he was in the mafia, and "I still remember that girl" is how he still remembers Chuuya lol
Yeah so all this stuff would be how he perceived Chuuya, and still does see him in that way. I think that those lines really does fit owo, cause Chuuya is in fact a mess of so many diffrent things, especially young one.
Do I need to elaborate? :,) Obv Chuuya is not gone, like dead, but he is removed from Dazai's life lol
I think it would be reference to Oda's death, all this situation with "carves out a person" which could symbolise how it left Dazai even more hollow. Also I like how "And its not what I asked for" could mean that Dazai never actually wanted to leave mafia, before Oda's death.
This one is tricky, cause the first part would definetly reference to ADA times, and how Dazai got them now. However, the second part idk doesn't really fit ig. I highly doubt that Dazai would change anything and trade ADA for rewriting ending, cause he accepted Oda's death, BUT maybe we can prentend the he would give it all away for Chuuya lmao
Just Chuuya description lol, reckless? Yeah. Gets hurt? Every time. Is still able to be so strong? Hell yeah.
Yeah obv Arahabaki getting stronger, and I think Chuuya just in spite of him would try to live a little bit longer and fight back him. "Used to be mine" still Dazai longing :,)
You can interpretate it on your own, you get what I mean.
So yeah lol, I just needed to throw it out, I can't stop thinking about it, bye
