I literally dont know how to continue explaining to people that part of the reason Goku decided to stay dead was because Gohan hated fighting.

He didnt know this until cell. He literally had no idea. Gohan NEVER gave any indication whatsoever. Couple that with the fact Bulma pointed out most of people threatening the Earth during that point in time were all people wanting Goku. The saiyans. Frieza. The androids. Doctor Gero. Cell.

All because of Goku. Its not his fault but his very existence consistently put the Earth in danger. He truly believed Earth would be safer without him and therefore, gohan wouldnt be consistently placed into battle.

Because Goku didnt know gohan hated fighting. But once he knew came the very interwoven nature of these threats he brought making his own son fight because gohan felt he HAD to. Not because he wanted to. For goku, protecting the earth always aligned with his own love for fighting. But gohan fought out of necessity, out of the very idea that they couldnt afford to do it without him. He has this power he didnt ask for so he must use it right? Because it would be selfish if he didnt.

But goku... goku thought gohan was like him. Gohan WANTED to return to help fight vegeta. He WANTED to go to namek. He WANTED to stay and fight after piccolo almost died to frieza. Goku didnt see gohan train that first year. Didnt witness what it took to make gohan a fighter. All he saw was his son who now was strong and wanted to join the fight like his dad. And he knows gohan is more powerful than them, knows he can stop cell, FELT IT. Gohan has to defeat cell because no one else can. So he thinks if gohan gets angry enough fighting cell, itll be the answer. Because thats how its always been for goku. And in thirty seconds piccolo makes him realize he's wrong. He doesnt argue back, he listens and concedes and realizes that piccolo is right. And suddenly goku wants to abandon his plan and stop the fight. He made a mistake. He intends to get gohan out. And in the end, he still ended up being right, but it doesnt change what goku now knows. Gohan isnt like him and he doesnt enjoy fighting.

Goku would have NEVER made gohan fight if he thought he didnt want to. You know this whenever adult gohan gets involved in a fight and goku apologizes that he had to. Or when someone suggests gohan for a battle and goku is like nah he's "out of practice," even when they have time FOR PRACTICE. He never wants to force gohan into a situation like cell again. Because cell was a mistake and goku has learned from it. So he never asks Gohan to fight anymore. If Gohan wants in then of course he's in. But he wants his son to be able to choose that. He wants gohan to be HAPPY and if thats not fighting then thats perfectly alright with goku.

So it wasnt just about keeping the earth safe. Or his friends. It was knowing that in the safety of gokus absence, gohan wouldnt have to fight either. There would be less threats, less chances of his son being forced into battle. And sure he also trusted that gohan and the others could keep the earth safe if they had to, but he was banking on the threat level significantly decreasing instead.

And decrease it did. They had seven whole years of peace. Not a single threat. Meanwhile from the moment Raditz shows up to gokus death to cell, it all takes place within the span of FIVE YEARS. The longest they went without a threat was the three year gap spent training for the androids. And they spent every waking moment knowing they were coming.

And then if you look at trunks future... majority of the human population being wiped out by the androids. Majority of gokus friends. His son. All dead. Because of him. Because he defeated the red ribbon army when he was a child. And that very easily could have been their future as well. So Goku does his job in preventing that. He saves all of them. And if hes the only one who ends up dead, well... it doesnt matter. Because they aren't. And he intends to keep it that way. So he stays in otherworld, to keep them safe and to give his son a future that he can choose. If Gohan has to fight, then he can. But at least his father wouldnt be the one bringing the threats to his door.

I don't wanna do it on twt but freaking Salad's design on that timeskip... Sorry but it makes her look like she is just there to be a doll, like the rest of the girls (heck I am still icked that basically all of them needs their legs to be shown?? Ike what the f?? ) isn't she basically an Uchiha? If she aims to be a Hokage she has to be just as skilled (not freaking aimed to be saved like what kind of vision is that IkE??? Making her look like a freakin damsel in distress)

And the heels... how are you supposed to fight in those high heels? I am forever bitter with the design. More focused on creating a visual that would appease a certain kind of "crowd" (Idk maybe Ike is part of it), than the storytelling of it all. (And I know some in the Akatsuki wore heels and even Tsunade but THEY WERE GROWN WOMEN WITH EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS vs 16 year old who is still in training??? A chunin?? Their ranks are different. And Salad have platforms on top of those heels, how are you gonna jump and run and kick and ninja with those smh)

Bruh Naruto trained to catch up to Sasuke and stand with him as an equal.. I dont know what is the even the goal for this story. And the whole Momo-whatever-the-heck inside Burrito is just another reason for Burrito to get something just like how Naruto has kurama. He still gets to be overtaken by that and still can't control it. And apparently something might happen to Sasuke Bec of it.

OH COME ON. I will write an essay about their history. BUT ANYWAY, despite their toxic year in 2015/2016, I still adore how young nico and lewis friendship or whatever they had in Greece back then and I still keep this ship alive until the 2021 season. Their battle on the track was BEYOND TOXIC, yet their battle off the track (media drama) is HILLAARIOUS. How come Lewis accidentally spills out, the name that shouldn't be spoken for Half of DECADE. God both of them are dramas king. NICO PODCAST omg the talk with Alain prost and they compared his vs Senna battle with HIS AND Lewis's battle PLUS when Nico's storytelling his "friendship" history in ITALY at the SPONSOR EVENTS *CRIED* and lewis always mentioned how he loves ice cream and do cheating day in imola and monza BECAUSE IT WAS NICO WHO INTRODUCE THE FOOD THERE. ugh I hate and love them at the same time. (I do include some Seb/NICO too because I like see Lewis getting rilled up)

2. Kimi and Seb (I ADORE THIS A LOT)

my calm and serenity wise iconic ferrari couple. I feel like Kimi was the rock ice and water for Seb to prevent him from burnout because of ferrari. during 2017-2018, Seb pushed hard (same like Charles) and yet the car reliability fuck his championship standing. and kimi (--kimi was the last ferrari champion hiks) kimi just so attentive to seb and I genuinely like both of them being rebels to whole ferrari tradition (like they don't do rollercoaster thingy, they DON'T master Italian, they just become their self and being so comfortable in their own bubble, fuck world). I had noticed also Seb (and Gio) is the only teammate that can make Kimi laugh. I just super super adore them!

3. Maxiel (TRADITIONALSHIP! I REFUSE OTHER SHIP FOR MAX BESIDE DANIEL. I REFUSE!)

ugh should I explain them? THE CHAOTIC GAYEST ENERGY IN WHOLEEE 2016 GRIDS COME ON. I love how Daniel basically took young rookie Max under his arm and just had fun on and off the track with It? The biggest flop was when Max was just so hotheaded and they crashed in Baku. I thought their relationship gonna be stranded but GUESS WHAT? MAXIEL IS STILL ALIVE UNTIL NOW HELLO? and their relationship is so real not only for the camera but also out the camera. The other highlight moment is when Max is already 'too big' daniel really steps down from RBR because he knows, Max will outshine him, and he knows (what he learned from brocedes too) that it's better to go the other way.

4. Dando (COMFORT SHIIP Not romantically also)

I thought daniel was max soulmate but LANDO excuse me? They can share daniel If they want. i just love how lando becomes so silly and blushes like school teenager around Daniel. i love how they INFLUENCE each other. I think because I feel nostalgic with them because they really similar with Maxiel in 2017 era, just one season before Daniel goes to renault, Maxiel was strained on thin paper. Dando other hands, well Daniel mostly, struggled in McLaren (with the papaya fans also still adore Carlos that time and refuse to let go him) plus Lando was shining bright just like Max 2016. Again, daniel he stepped OUT (this time). I guess, that similarity made me miss maxiel too.

5. last one C2 (Charlos) gosh, please!! ultimate!!!

loving and adoring them was expected though. It wasn't because they're both handsome (I already know Carlos was goofy ever since his Renault era so I never consider him as a handsome man) BUT DANG BOY, RED ON CARLOS WAS SOMETHING ELSE? RED ON CARLOS, BLACK ON CARLOS WAS SAKDAJSKDFHLKJSAFHKJAF.

-- okay back to the c2. It was a slow build okay? I realized that they are special during Carlos's first podium, Monaco 2021. Charles WAS LIKE ME. Blushing giggling, shy gazes toward Carlos. they are so endearing. Both of them are the victims of the Ferrari team. But I think they both understand each burden (Charles being the predestinated one, and Carlos had to prove his talent bcs he is a two times world champion son) plus, the way Ferrari screwed Charles in 2019. The team was cracked but with Carlos, I didn't expect this cursed team is heal :"D (Crying) and Charles become more relaxed, more enjoyed, even his coping mechanism is with laughter and Carlos just matches his energy. Idk , they gave me... a relationship through ups and downs.

and I realized there are so many people trying to pit them against each other, their fans are constantly arguing about who is the best and better driver, always dragging one of them down, but guess what is Carlos and Charles's response? it's completely differs from real life. They knew and fucking see it their fans tension. Carlos's anger to the Spanish media has already proven enough he had enough of these things. Charles also said in an interview that "what he saw about him and Carlos is nowhere true". they are the best PR relationship couple out there, but I also can see a genuine, how they know each other so weell. How Charles kept the football game updated just because of Carlos, how Carlos knows his favorite food, how they had their own internal jokes,

they are both soo lowkey on the camera during and outside the race. and I think that Is why people never hype them like carlando or everyone's favorite childhood rival to lovers lesttapen. And I thought they didn't really hang out with each other that much but WHAT WAS THAT SUMMER BREAK? HUH? YOU IN MALORCA AND WENT TO SOUTHERN FRENCH? What were the matching Instagram feeds color and aesthetic at New York? WHAT WAS THE THING ABOUT PASTA CARBONARA UN LUNGA NON PENNE? WHAT WAS THAT THING CHARLES SLEPT ON THE FLOOR just to accompany Carlos watching World Cup? The dolomites? The Sardinia?

there are soo many thing that they keep it so low-profile and under camera, and yet their conversation is so domestic.

Unpopular opinion: Dirty Dan shows should be banned

Okay, I felt this way for a long time but I feel like after that "Quiet on the set" documentary, we ALL know what Dirty Dan Schneider did to the children who worked on his nasty, perverted shows and movies. I'm sorry if these were your "childhood favorites" which is a bunch of bullcrap because it was part of my childhood too. My grandma and I used to think Cat was so cool on Victorious, and we liked the songs, although there were some moments that made us question why people would put such rubbish jokes in a kids show. The songs are great, but if you watch it for "nostalgia", which I can't do after knowing what Dan did, just search the songs up in the nightcore playlists on YouTube. Victorious should be BANNED along with all of Dan's sows and and movies. I think iCarly and Good Burger were the worst of all, and those of you who say otherwise, I think you don't realize how much abuse these kids went through on set and how disgusting the "humor" was in these shows. I think iCarly should get banned first, but everything that Dan Schneider worked on should be banned. and I mean EVERYTHING!

Okay, I'm 21 and hate adult humor shows... I know it's weird but I'm from the generation that had shows like Little Bear, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Marvin the Tap-Dancing, and ToddWorld (those last two shows you probably never heard of, look them up) and I'm not used to that Family guy/Ren & stimpy type humor. In fact, Ren & Stimpy is another show I think should be banned. John K was just like Dan Schneider in a way, he was a huge p*do too. I'm also not saying that dirty jokes in kids shows are a bad thing, subtle dirty jokes are okay, but don't take the "adult humor" too far. They take the dirty jokes way too far in those shows. I hope one day we will stop putting perverted, fetishy stuff in kids shows. Some example of subtle dirty jokes would be like the "Could you imagine teaching those kids how to ride a corndog?" thing from Marvin the tap-dancing Horse, and the "I'm trying to admire some heavenly bodies" "Wow you can see the beach through that thing? Let me look" from CatDog. Those were subtle dirty jokes for parents, but we know they were talking about something that wasn't for kids. The shows like iCarly and Ren & Stimpy just had the most perverted, fetishy crap ever that it wasn't even watchable.. especially since iCarly characters were underage. There's other Nickelodeon shows I do have problems with, but that's for a different day.

Jeanette McCurdy wasn't the only victim and just because she spoke out and wrote a book about it, doesn't mean that it only happened to her. The other girls were offered hush money. I do think Jeanette probably suffered the worst, though. I think Amanda Bynes (voice of Piper in Robots, if you don't know who she is) had it bad too. I'm sure she had fun voicing in Robots, but she obviously went through abuse on the Dirty Dan shows that she was on. Dirty Dan gave her "The Amanda show" so that she could be the star because that creepy jerk was obsessed with her. Also, Miranda Cosgrove (if you don't know who that is, she was Margot in Despicable Me and Sam in Mouse Tale) also went through abuse by Dirty Dan too. Practically everyone was abused by Dirty Dan Schnieder. He didn't just have a foot fetish either, he literally R*PED underage girls! He also held pool parties and refused to invite their parents... if that doesn't sound suspicious, I don't know what does.

I also have opinions on Disney movies I think we should cancel, however, those are old movies and I know more people have nostalgia for them, and they could be a good learning point for people to see how far we've come (like, Peter Pan and Song of the South absolutely disgust me, but they can be used as a learning thing on why we shouldn't make movies like this anymore). I'd like to see them get banned eventually though, however more people have nostalgia for those than iCarly and stuff, and I just think we need to ban iCarly (and Dan's other shows) first.

If you disagree I'd like to hear your opinion on why you disagree with me. If you agree, let me know your thoughts. I'm still mad that they removed an innocent episode of SpongeBob from Paramount plus, yet you can watch Victorious and iCarly on there. It doesn't make sense... we should start a riot or boycott for Paramount Plus or something. WE NEED TO COMPLAIN! I don't want any other kid in the world to see an episode of iCarly, Victorious, Sam & Cat, Henry Danger, All That, Kenan & Kel, Thundermans, whatever else Dan Schneider worked on! PLEASE! If you see your kids or younger sibling watching one of those shows, turn it off immediately and try to get those awful shows removed for good!

Yeah, sorry for the rant, again, if you disagree, I'd like to hear why. Try convincing me that these shows don't need to be banned.

Dear friends in Doyle and ACD Johnlock.

A brief list of post-hiatus Johnlock moments that will prove how much married these two are and that OF COURSE Watson went back to live with Holmes. Let's say sharing rooms... once they stay in Watson's room, once in Holmes'.

Let's begin with Empty House, alright? Holmes comes back from death and Watson, saint that he is reacts with

Grabbing him and most likely hugging him.

Agreeing to go on an adventure with him at moment's notice.

Saving Holmes' life. And most likely kissing him after a brandy back home.

Passing the evening just doing their things and reading together! Maybe snuggled one near the other? Cuddling a little bit?

next one, next one! We have Three students. They're away together outside London to 'escape circumstances' in 1895. Yeah. Watson is being worried for Holmes but they're together. And at least in being together they can tease each other

And clearly get a laugh out of it, since Watson isn't writing this with any bitterness. And then, of course, Holmes is Holmes.

Bursting into Watson's ahem, THEIR room, maybe greeting him with a kiss, And asking him to skip breakfast or at least to postpone it for a while! And of course Watson answers with a yes.

ENTER solitary cyclist. They are simply very married, Holmes even APOLOGIZES to Watson.

And they have a danger-case date in the country! Watson likes it.

Of course the evening the case is solved they hug and cuddle once they're back at baker street. Holmes is feeling down because he made a blunder, Watson because he can't run as fast as Holmes. Cuddling MIGHT indeed make them feel better. Kissing each other, showing their love to the other.

Now enter Black Peter! It starts with proud and exasperated husband Watson, of course. Who is totally unruffled by yeah, y'know, Holmes entering the room with an harpoon in his hands.

Well, ALMOST. Totally unruffled. He's surprised. That he is. He's already living there again toh. That much is clear. But then, once accepted the case they go on the palce itself, well

Mr. I hate the countryside goes with his husband to take a walk in the woods. Because WATSON likes it. And because in the woods there are corners secluded enough to allow them a little kissy here and there! Then a nice ambush and we'll see the solution of the case At breakfast!

Holmes is grumpy and Watson notices. Watson MUST have taken Holmes in his lap once back to baker street. Cat-Detective Husband loves it!

Holmes HATED this case. Poor darling.

Oh! And Watson saves him again as they arrest the murderer

And then off to Norway, time for a good vacation!

Time to have some Quality Time between husbands! They so love each other!

This said, the statement in today's letter was quite obvious.

After he reports the teasing at breakfast, i'd say even an UNNECESSARY statement.

We knew, Watson. We had got it PERFECTLY WELL that you and your husband were living together again. And probably fucking each other silly against the most various surfaces of baker street, other then in your beds.

i saw so many people criticizing the show when it came out because it was not book accurate plot-wise (i was a little guilty of this i apologize) but honestly everything they changed was for the better and made the show 100x better.

i dont know how else to put this but it’s like we get new content, right? plus everything moves more smoothly; everything is connected instead of a one and done thing.

The difference between "dont call me that, my name is goku" to "broly, call me kakarot" is actually insane and I am so proud of my boy for slowly learning to take pride in his saiyan heritage.

And we all have vegeta to thank for it. Because do you seriously think for a SECOND Goku would have any love or respect for his race if it wasnt for vegeta? If vegeta died during their intial battle, Goku would still be calling himself an earthling.

But over time, vegeta connected with Goku. Taught Goku what a saiyan was, could be, and is, even if it wasnt outloud, even if he didnt say it with words. Vegetas very existence was proof. And Goku got a direct comparison to what another saiyan was like. He could see the similarities between them, decipher what was inherently saiyan of him and what wasn't.

The simple act of Vegeta consistently using gokus birth name so that goku NEVER forgot what he truly was. Because for Vegeta being a saiyan was pride. It was the best thing you could be. And the very idea that Goku would throw that all away, betray his own blood, irked Vegeta to no end.

And so he would not call him Goku. Never goku. Only kakarot. Because if Goku wasnt gonna keep his saiyan heritage alive, then vegeta would.

And slowly the name went from something only vegeta called him to something Goku felt was actually his. Because it was. And he began to take ownership in that. He isnt just kakarot and he isnt just goku. Hes both. Raised earthling, but born saiyan. He loves Earth, but hes not human. He can no longer pretend he is. Nor does he want to.

He is saiyan, through and through. And his parents named him kakarot. And his grandfather named him goku. And you can call him either. Because theyre both him.

Fraid/Fright vs Grief

So. I wasn't going to type this out, but I literally fell asleep last night ranting about this in my head, so HERE WE GO!

Fraid and Fright. Those are the two most common words used for ghost family units in the Danny Phantom fandom, and honestly, I don't think they should be.

First of all, ghosts being scary is a Living thing. It's a thing that the living created, and applied to ghosts. Why would ghosts find each other scary just as a matter of course? Why would *fear* be the emotion that they wish to elicit when they're talking about the people that they love and trust the most? It doesn't make sense.

Second of all, ghosts do not typically set out to scare the living. It might be a side effect of their urge to fulfill their obsession, but it generally isn't the primary goal. Again, why would you refer to your closest friends and family as people who assist you in causing fear??

It doesn't make sense.

However.

Grief is a thing that all ghosts are familiar with. The grief of lost living relatives. The grief of a changed existence. The grief of mourning that which you can not have anymore, and, in some cases, can't even touch.

I am all for the chubby gale hcs, i do adore them, bc after all he shouldnt be a ripped action hero. But i think people forget that this bitch has 15 con? His base stenght is 9 (not high, but higer than Wyll, for some reason?)! I mean, yeah he doesnt have defined abs but he aint fragile. I bet all the con points are on his arms and chest. I hate that all the credit for Castiel's rebellion is given to Dean.

Dean didn't convince Cas to fall or rebel, he didn't even know what he was asking Cas for, nither did he care about it. Dean wanted Cas to serve him like he did Heaven

But Dean also gave a way to act on all the doubts he always had.

There are two incidents in season 4 where Chuck explicitly states are not supposed to happen, both of which are direct result of decision Cas made

I know fandom reduces Castiel to his love for Dean and attributes everything he has every done to Dean but that's not true

And I don't think Cas was in love with Dean in season 4, the whole "cas fell in love in hell, as soon as he touched Dean" feels more like a cop out from talking about Cas and his feelings. I don't think he was actively falling in love with Dean either

Daemon Targaryen is supposed to be a grey character: equal light and dark.

Over the centuries, House Targaryen has produced both great men and monsters. Prince Daemon was both. In his day there was not a man so admired, so beloved, and so reviled in all Westeros. But the showrunners/writers have only taken the evil side of him and erased his supposed good side. They didn’t include the scene where Daemon was consoling his daughters after Laena’s death.

And they twisted some events from the books to make him seem more evil, like, killing his first wife Rhea Royce. On the books, Daemon was fighting at the Stepstones when she died (Lady Rhea lingered for nine days before finally feeling well enough to leave her bed, only to collapse and die within an hour of rising).

They are trying so hard to paint him as a villain while they made several excuses for the greens’ actions. And then there’s this bullshitery.
