before I sleep, here is my definitive ranking on all the NPMD songs and some rambles on why I placed them there - also the ranking is based on how much I vibe with them (music production and lyricism have different rankings)

1. Hatchet Town (aka the hatchetfield trilogy theme song like this tune perfectly encapsulates the chaos Hatchetfield has to go through with every Starkid project pos-2018 and I love it - kinda wish it was a number that is more integrated with the plot with the kids tho BUT I REALLY DID LIKE that this melody was quite prominent in the other songs too)

2. High School is Killing Me (I've watched many teen centered musicals and believe me when I say that this song is one of, if not, the best introduction numbers out there for this genre - also it's a really great opening hook for a show)

3. Nerdy Prudes Must Die (FUCKING AMAZING HONESTLY - amazing way to REALLY re-establish a villain back from the dead and to establish the main theme for the nerds here: "I'm Not A Loser" (tho i fucking wish that motif was used a bit more))

4. Just For Once (everyone cheer for Lauren Lopez flexing not just her high tier soprano skills, but also how amazing of a fucking actor she can be like the concept of this song is quite layered and to pull it off both comedically and emphatically takes great lyrical and acting prowess)

5. The Summoning (a well-anticipated onstage introduction to all 5 of the LiB that balances out befuddling neon-entertainment with genuine fucking menace)

7. Cool As I Think I Am Reprise (A FUCKING GENIUS REPRISE I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH HOW COOL I FIND THEM RECONTEXTUALIZING THE OG SONG AND IF I LOVED YOU TO FIT THE SITUATION AND BOTH OF THE CHARACTERS GROWTH. LIKE IN TERMS OF THEMATIC IMPLICATIONS WITH CHARQCTER DEVELOPMENT, THIS SONG AND ITS SCENE WOULD BE THE TOP)

6. If I Loved You (I think this song could be a bit more honestly like I know how much Starkid has explored Steph and Pete's relationship in their other projects and I was really hoping that they would have it more portrayed here - however the song is a bop nonetheless and it matches neatly with their themes and the harmonies are top tier. I placed this higher than the next just due to my personal bias like I really do like the song)

8. Dirty Dudes Must Die (A GREAT TWIST THAT MAKES ME WANT ANOTHER MUSICAL ABOUT GRACE CHASITY'S DERANGED SELF - also the new context of the song Grace is reprising here makes her a villain even scarier than MAX of all people but that's just me)

9. Literal Monster (A very catchy beat and well structured song that provides a good introduction to a jock-bully with the god complex. also kinda foreshadowing to nerdy prudes must die)

10. Cool As I Think I Am (the instrumentation reminded me of Dear Evan Hansen ngl fjsjd but it really does sound like an I-Want song from a teen-musical which is of course what they are going for - it sounds very nice and earnest though and I loved how it was utilised in the reprise. However I still fucking wish that the I'm Not A Loser motif was used more)

11. Dirty Girl (look I'm sorry for ranking this quite low on the list but like there is no fucking way I'm using this as bait to lure other people in like they'd be scared away I'm sorry fjdjs BUT I love how Will and Angela perform this though like top tier starkid performances ever - its not just what I would listen to on repeat personally jgjdjs)

12. Go Go Nighthawks! (This one gets plus points because of FUCK YOU CLIVESDALE GO GET FUCKED. otherwise its nice and cheery and perfectly shows how happy everyone is without Max but um I kinda wish it could be a bit more especially in terms of showing how happy the other nerds are now that Max is gone but that's just me)

13. Bully The Bully + Bury The Bully (Look I couldn't decide which was better like they both are the same melodies so like gjxjs these two are cute though and I liked seeing the 5 kids bonding in Bully The Bully since we don't get that many scenes with them)

14. The Best Of You (the pop-punk happy number is a staple of teen-centered musicals and it does really sound nice - just isn't that much of a standout compared to the others.)

#also for the best of you i have like a bone to pick with that one as much as i find it a fun song #but that is once again a rambly critique on how steph was utilized in the show sO WE'LL SAVE THAT BONE FOR ANOTHER DAY #but yea that's my NPMD ranking #the music prod here is on another level honestly #like they stepped up their game here #as for lyricism hmm given the genre it's more or less as I expected - i like it but there are some parts where i expected more #but they did a good job in having nuance in some of their songs like Nerdy Prudes Must Die and Just For Once like those r GOOD DEEP DIVES #hmmm maybe i'll do a full review soon of NPMD to just consolidate all my critiquey rambles #rn it's sittiing at a score of 8.5/10 #and is probably my top 3 fav starkid musical of all time - tgwdlm and twisted are top 2 and 1 #(i cant say much about black friday yet cause i havent watched it but um i have a feeling it could technically be a tie with npmd)#nerdy prudes must die #npmd #npmd spoilers #starkid

So this is a comic that i made during the summer 21 (and thought out during the year before). So it's a lil old but i'm still very proud of it! I made it with watercolors, on paper of about 17cm x 17 cm.

i love this question sm and same!! i believe i became a proper fan around december or january of last year so i don't remember it feeling this fast, but this season flew right before my eyes 😭😭 i was having breakfast when i saw the announcement of quinn being captain and now he's about to finish his first season as one? that's still crazy to me.

but i feel like i haven't payed enough attention to it but here are my predictions for the skills rounds.

passing: leon

one timers: mackinnon or auston

stick-handling: willy or petey

accuracy: auston or pasta

these might be all wrong and tbh as long as davo doesn't win every single one, i don't care as much 😭😭😭 would love it if there were more players involved in the skills thing but people aren't pleased with the 1 player per team rule so ig this is a way to keep everyone at peace ✨️

HOWEVER i'm super excited to see watch the draft with the celebrity coaches (go team aus & mo !!! but ... i have to root for tate and nathan too bc it's too iconic not to) and the cash prizes! i wish a lot of the guys who were selected and then got injured could have gone, but they're probably enjoying their break much more now so 👍

i'll be glued to my tv when the pwhl showcase happens tho. those are my favorite girls, that's my main event, my super bowl. as well as tate's performance 😭😭 i think that's going to help grow the league a lot this year and i'm really happy about that :)) can't wait to see bjorky and all of my leafs guys slay ofc ! but honestly my mind is a liiiiitle more focused on the trade deadline and then playoffs :(

Sorry if this is weird but I literally have no one to ask or talk to. I’m in medical school, I was kinda forced by my parents, I tried really hard to enter, it’s a big deal in our country (Asian) but I’ve always wanted to become an artist. I draw, i paint, I play violin and piano, i do a little singing and I write stories too. You know everyone tells me that im not missing anything from art school because of this and that but I always feel like im missing something from the community you know? Liked medical students are nerds that think of nothing but studying. Some of them even think art is stupid. So I have No friends that share that kind of passion. I’m obviously not in a community that appreciates art. I’ve been trying to remedy that with online communities but I still feel like I’m missing something. I thought you studied art that’s why I wanted to ask you if I’m really missing something? If it’s a big deal? Does it effect my art? Does it somehow make my art more immature/inferior or something like that? Can I fix that in anyway? I’m asking cuz even tho I’m in medical school I want to do art. I’m just working on my skills. I found this art school kid that I tried to talk to but he was basically like “you’re not a true artist if you chose something else over your craft” and I get it and I agree to some extent but I didn’t abandon my craft. And it’s not like I had any real choice.

Oh wow anon. I'm so sorry that the people around you are not supportive of your art! Frankly it sounds like some of the art students you've spoken to are immature, or even insecure. If someone needs to follow a specific path in order to feel like an artist they are probably looking for validation instead of trusting their work. Entering the medical field is a very admirable thing to do; the world needs more good doctors. Not only that, but some of the most interesting art I've seen comes from people who are in STEM in some capacity. Engineers, biologists, chemists, and geologists have all made really interesting art, whether it intersects with their studies or not. All knowledge gained is good knowledge and can impact art in a positive way–not just the knowledge you gain in art school. Frankly, a lot of art students actually end up WORSE for having gone to art school because unless the program is very good, you get a lot of validation for mediocre work and can fail to grow.

So no, I'd say you're not missing out by not going to art school! All art school does is provide a focused and intentional place to make & improve your work. It's very possible to do that outside of that context. I would suggest trying to get involved with your local gallery scene, if there is one and you have time. Gallery openings are a great place to meet new people.

One thing I would try to do is see if any artists around you want to collaborate. Working with other artists is one of my greatest joys. I’ve collaborated on pieces before and always got a lot out of it. I’m sorry you have had bad experiences talking to artists in the past and I hope you find a niche that suits you soon!

After going through the description given, I believe that you best pair well with Jamil Viper!

First of all, Jamil isn’t immediately drawn to people who look aesthetically pleasing to the eye. He of all people knows that just because something looks pretty or harmless, that doesn’t mean that it’s true. After all, he had to play the role of a mediocre student and dutiful servant for years. That said, when he first meets you, he is enamored with your long hair and your casual style, but he’s still somewhat standoffish and aloof.

However, when he does get to know you better, he finds you rather charming. Have you thought about setting up a garden in Scarabia? Granted, it might be a little hard considering how desert-like the conditions are there, but the both of you can research what plants can be grown in these conditions. Jamil is more than willing to spend his free time with you gardening while listening to some great music in the background. If you ever feel like taking a break, he’ll be ready with a pitcher of refreshing beverages or he’ll drag you to your feet so you can dance together.

Jamil is amazed by how many languages you speak. How do you have the time or the energy to keep up with so many? Your determination and ambition to know ten languages not only garners you admiration from him, but also pride that he has a lover who does what it takes to achieve her dreams. It took a while for Jamil to speak the language used at Night Raven College and even then, sometimes he makes mistakes. If you have the time, maybe teach him a few tricks? It would be fun! And, if you would like, maybe you would like learning to speak the language most often used in the Scalding Sands. (Provided, of course, if you don’t speak it already. If you do, feel free to converse with him in his native tongue).

Jamil doesn’t laugh that often, but he does find your humor interesting. Sometimes, your jokes will miss, but when they do hit their mark, Jamil will find himself trying to hold in his laughter and ultimately failing because you’re just so cute and earnest when making them!

As for your negative personality traits… While your laziness and ignorance heavily reminds him of Kalim, he supposes that they’re not necessarily terrible traits. Unlike Kalim, you’re not his master and you have already acknowledged that he is his own person outside of the Asim name. He’ll gently remind you to complete tasks and if you’re truly that forgetful, he has more than enough handy tips that he has tried to teach Kalim over the years to help you.

Overall, Jamil is calm around you—he doesn’t feel the need to disguise who he is at his core and he encourages you to show him all of yourself as well. Even though there are some differences in who you are as people, it’s nothing that a little communication can’t fix.

OnlyOneOf- libido is one of my guilty pleasures to listen to for sure. I love their daringness and energy and performance. My first reaction tho was 'omg they look so young, are they even consenting adults. Is is okay for me to look at them?' Only to find out they are all a minimum of three years older than me lol. They look like babies :) as long as they feel comfortable doing wat they are doing and not pressured - I'll support them!

Ab6ix is awesome, they deserve more love! Love their rapping skills and vibes. Their music always makes me happy and groovy!

Summary - Your powers accidentally lash out during an argument with Natasha leaving you scared for the status of your relationship; luckily she wants to work through your issues and reassure you.

Warnings - brief mention of verbal abuse from parents and past relationships, ft. my mega fear of abandonment. Mostly fluff tho

A/N - wrote this cuz i am feeling sad and made it fluffier than i had anticipated because i need a hug :')

You gained your powers a few months ago due to a freak accident during a mission with your fellow Avengers; the classic trop with a mad scientist creating a serum that you were unintentionally exposed to. It led to a few days in quarantine, having to communicate to your girlfriend and everyone else through glass, finally released when your lab results came back all clear.

That's what Bruce and Tony thought anyway.

It wasn't until a movie night that anything seemed odd. What started as a regular movie watching with everyone scattered over various seats throughout the room, ended up with snacks and drinks all over the floor and walls - there's still a slight dent in the ceiling plaster from a can of cola.

It started with a sneeze which led to the fizzy drink flying upwards. Your hand shot out in shock which only caused the contents of the coffee table to fly across the room; popcorn, skittles and nachos decorating any surface they could reach.

The sight of Tony, Pietro, Clint, Sam and Steve covered in cola would have been hilarious if the situation wasn't so strange and slightly concerning. Natasha and Wanda stifled laughs from their seats beside you as they looked on at the soaked men, cola dripping down their faces and popcorn stuck in their hair.

The amusing nature of the situation quickly disappeared though when you were ushered to the lab for testing again. Turns out you actually have the skill of telekinesis now.

And it would be all fine and dandy if you had it under control. Obviously Wanda had been helping you learn but it was tricky to master in just a couple of months; there hadn't been any major issues and Natasha had been great with the adjustment but what happened tonight made you feel horrible and guilty.

"God Y/N! You shouldn't be so reckless!" Natasha shouted. You'd gone on a quick mission with Wanda, a way for you to practise your new skills in the field; it was meant to be a simpler mission than it turned out to be. There wasn't meant to be anybody there but the two of you were ambushed and in a miscalculated act of heroism you received a bullet wound to the shoulder.

"I'm sorry! But I didn't want to see my best friend get fucking shot!" You returned, you knew she was only concerned for your safety but you couldn't help but get defensive; it was rare for the two of you to argue but the added stress of your new powers has made you slightly snappier than usual.

"She would've been fine. She has powers too you know?" She muttered back angrily, knuckles turning white as she held onto the kitchen counter, everyone else no doubt listening in from where they sat not too far away. The argument had ceased for a while, starting up again when you brushed off a wince of pain - she just wanted you to understand that she was scared for your safety and your recklessness could leave her behind, alone.

She'd never raised her voice at you before and you could feel the tension bubbling in your veins; the reminder of past relationships and the verbal abuse from your parents starting to overwhelm. What doesn't bode well is the fact that there has been a correlation found between your emotions and your powers.

"I know! I just wanted to help." You returned, still on the defensive as you were being reminded of past experiences. What you didn't expect was a mug to fly from the counter, being narrowly dodged by Natasha as it flew in her direction, a smashing sound as the ceramic crashed against the wall behind her gaining the full attention of the others.

Her eyes widened in shock at the action, yours instantly brimming with tears at what had occurred; you'd never forgive yourself if you hurt her, you were lucky she had such amazing reflexes.

"Y/N, what the fuck?" Tony spoke in shock as the others looked on.

"Nat, I'm sorry it was an accident I-" You choked out, tears filling your eyes as she walked from the room scarily calmly. "Fuck." You muttered, burying your face in your hands as you leant on the counter, tears streaming down your cheeks.

"Y/N, you need to control your powers more." Steve scolded.

"Christ Steve, she's training everyday, give her a break. It was clearly an accident." Wanda uttered in return. Everyone nodded in agreement, understanding it wasn't truly your fault though still feeling slight apprehension at the impulsiveness of your powers. Clint looked slightly angry, knowing you weren't usually like this but ready to defend Natasha at the drop of a hat - 'bros before hoes' and all that.

"It was an accident." You mumbled out, voice nasally from your tears. "I fucking hate these powers."

Before anyone else could speak, footsteps sounded heading back into the kitchen again.

"Okay let's talk, you're not meant to go to bed angry y'know." Natasha smirked, Steve's shield held in front of her body.

Everyone smiled on at the two of you, your body visibly relaxing at the sight of your girlfriend and her sense of humour; and frankly they'd been rooting for you before you finally admitted your feelings almost three years ago, they weren't used to you arguing and it pained them to see.

"I'm sorry." You spoke quietly, nervous she'd still be angry at you.

"I know detka, I just want you to be safe."

"I don't deserve you Nat. I have never known a love like yours, so patient and understanding." You added with a small shake of your head, smile tugging at your lips at the sight of her small body behind the vibranium shield.

"You deserve this, Y/N/N. I've told you this before and will tell you every single second of every single day if I have to." Her eyes so soft as they looked into yours, lips spread into a matching smile.

"I thought I'd scared you away, I wouldn't blame you if you left me. You have been nothing but perfect and I can't even get control of these stupid powers - the amount of times you could've left and you didn't just makes me realise how much I love you. The effort you've put in to memorising me, each fear, each hope, each dream I've ever had." You rambled, her smile only growing, and you couldn't help but feel embarrassed as all eyes were on the pair of you. "You know I'm bad with expressing my feelings with words but I guess I'm trying to say that I really like hanging out with you."

This received a wave of snickers and scoffs, your face flushing in embarrassment.

"I like hanging out with you too, moya lyubov'" She giggled, leaning the shield against the cupboard and approaching you, taking your hands in hers. "Memorising each part of you has been my favourite thing to do. The way your nose scrunches up when you're mad that's always hard not to laugh at, the way you laugh at my stupid jokes - always having another one to comeback with." She laughed making you laugh too. "You need to understand that I am nothing like your self indulgent exes, you have given me no choice but to stay because you are everything to me and I will never leave you like the others have."

Her hands came up to cup your face, thumbs wiping away the stray tears on your cheeks as she smiled.

"How would you feel about hanging out with me for our whole lives?" You asked, hands holding onto her arms as she continued to hold your face, head leaning into her gentle touch.

"Oh em gee! Is this a proposal?!" Tony shrieked, everyone grinning from where they sat - as nosey as ever.

"Tony shush, we're witnessing a live rom-com moment." Wanda scolded.

"Is this a proposal detka?" She smirked, eyebrow raising slightly, breaking out into a teary grin at the nervous look on your face as you nodded.

"Listen, I don't have a ring - yet. But..." You pulled away from her, eyes darting around before landing on the perfect thing. You stepped over to the pieces of broken mug on the ground, picking up the handle and going back to her, all eyebrows in the room furrowing at your antics.

You got down on one knee before her, holding her hand in yours. "Miss Romanova, will thou hangeth out with thee forever?"

"Thy words do pulleth on the heartstrings m'lady." She giggled. "I'd be lucky to hangeth out with thou." She nodded, pulling you up to stand before her, you both chuckled as you slid the mug handle over her finger, it being much too big and dangling loose.

"I'll get us better rings." You muttered.

"You two are so weird." Clint interrupted as the others nodded in agreement. "Congratulations though." He grinned, claps and cheers sounding in the room from everyone else.

Natasha pulled you into a passionate kiss, lips moving together in their perfect rhythmic tandem. When you pulled apart you tugged her into a tight hug, the calming scent of her perfume filling your nose as she held you in your favourite embrace. "I love you, I'm sorry about today." You whispered.

"I love you too. I'll be with you every step of the way with learning to control these powers, okay?" You nodded in response, her lips kissing your temple before separating your bodies, her beautiful smile across her face as she looked at you with nothing but love and adoration, she could no doubt see the same thing in your eyes too.

"Engagement party tomorrow!" Tony announced before everyone came over to give their congratulations.

You never thought you'd find such an unconditional love as the one you have with Natasha, but she was starting to make you believe you truly deserved it and perhaps you weren't the problem in the past but those who treated you poorly were. She helped you to acknowledge the love you deserve whether you deem yourself worthy for it or not.

They have always admired prince jean and how handsome he is, later did they know not only y/n is developing feelings for jean but so does he, and he falls in love with y/n instantly! Although, something happens along the way....

Erwin has hired you to join the Kirstein royal family army, after two years training to be a solider to defend the country against the Jaegerists which were a rebel faction that wanted Eren to be the next king instead and to create a ‘New Jaeger Empire’. Also, wanting to protect the prince, which was one of your goals. You really admired prince Jean of how affectionate, kind, honest, and straightforward he is, you wanted to stay and be loyal to him.

Everything changes though when you graduated from the military training with your friends Connie and Sasha. Erwin had suddenly made you prince Jean’s personal bodyguard. “With your great skills y/n, and how loyal and strong you are, I think you will be a perfect choice to have the role as his personal bodyguard!”

You stood there, shocked, and your eyes were wide open. “M-Me Commander?....Of course! I would be honored to!” You will finally see jean, and be by his side! The thought of that would make your cheeks go red...it’s cause you are loyal to him right?

Erwin escorted you and took you to Prince jean who you spotted was sitting on the dinner table hall. “Erwin...! Huh? Who’s that?” Jean was quick to notice your presence, and he was quite taken aback with your presence.

“Your new personal bodyguard Prince Jean. With how bad the situation is going, you never know who will come and attack you. So, Y/N here is going to be by your side and make sure they protect you. If you also ever need anything, you can ask Y/N.” Erwin patted on your back and you went forward and saluted to Jean. “A-At your service Prince Jean!”

“O-Oh...alright then, whatever.” He got up and walked past you both, leaving the dinning hall, you could have sworn you saw his cheeks went a bit red. “He is usually like this at the beginning, but he seems to like you!”

As the days passed, you and Prince Jean actually got along pretty well which made your bond stronger. He seemed to be the kind of person who wouldn't care from the outside, but you realized he cared about everyone and when it came to you...he would always ask if you are doing well. Things seemed to be fine at the moment, for now.

“Young master! You have a meeting with the chairman at Trost District soon.” You said as you were next to Jean, catching up with his pace. “Okay, let's get going then!” He gave you a grin which made you blush, as the both of you approached the carriage, he went ahead and opened the door for you! “Well, are you getting in or not?” You felt all eyes on you, and heard some gasps. ‘It should be the other way around!’ you thought as you got inside while feeling so embarrassed.

You were both alone sitting down in the carriage and you could feel Jean’s eyes all over you, “Young mas-” you were stunned when he held your hands and you looked at his eyes that was searching your gaze. “Don't call me that when we are alone....Didn’t I tell you that?” You couldn't hold it, you were a blushing mess now!

“Okay...J-Jean, why did you do that? People will get the wrong idea..” Lately, Jean has been very affectionate towards you, although you had to admit you had a crush on him, but you could never say that to him.

“So? “Young master stay inside!” Before he could stop you, you open the carriage door and stepped out, while shutting it tight. You brought your sword out and examined the area and situation. ‘The carriage man is gone...we are in the woods...and I sense someone, but who?!’

“Come out, whoever you are...or perhaps you are a Jaegerist?” As soon as you said that, a sword was seen to be thrown out at you and you quickly stopped it by slashing it to hit on the other direction with your long strong sword.

“Hmph, you seem to be smart.” You head turned quick to the direction where you heard the voice. You saw a middle aged man with a tousled auburn hair “And? Who the fuck is asking?” You pointed your sword at him with a stoic expression, showing him no fear. “It’s Floch, and if you could do me a favor how about you just leave and let me deal with the Prince okay?”

You let out a chuckle, then gave him a death glare. “Make me.”

“Fuck, you are stubborn, let me just finish you off!! Don't you get it? This crappy prince doesn't deserve to be the next king to rule us!! It should be Eren!” He yelled out and brought out a knife and charged at you, you put your sword away and decide to do hand-to-hand combat on him. You took your stance and when he was near you, Y/N pushed the knife down and then quickly did the grappling technique, which took him down completely.

“Young Master! Call the headquarters for backup, we were tricked and put in a trap!” You said as you were trying to hold on to Floch, not letting him escape. “O-On it!”

“It’s quiet....too quiet no way this guy came alon-” You looked up and you saw someone charging at you with their sword, she was fast and you quickly got up and brought your sword to stop her attack for defense.

‘F-Fuck...that was close.’ You backed away and looked at the carriage, ‘He needs to be safe...’ you wondered and started to worry.

“About fucking time Mikasa!” Floch shouted out as he rubbed his hands which you held on tightly earlier. “Wait...I know you! Ackerman right? It's a privilege to meet you.” Mikasa Ackerman, she was one of the Ackerman that stood behind and did not serve the Kirstein royal family, but instead stood by Eren’s side and believed in him.

“And your Y/N, the strong bodyguard. Please step aside.” She sounded very serious and looked strong. The rumors were true, she did neglect the royal family and went with the Jaegerists rebel group.

‘Ha...who would have known this mission would be a complete disaster!’ You thought and as you were preparing to attack, until Jean came out of the carriage with his sword and pointed at them. “Don't Hurt Y/N!!”

Your eyes widened as you turned your head to look at him. “Young Master! What the hell are you doing? Don’t come out and run away!”

“B-But...” Jean stuttered and looked at you, he did not want to leave you behind and run like a coward, leaving behind....the most important person to him that he cared about the most. “No! I promised to protect you, so ru-” Being distracted by Jean, everything now seem to have stopped for you and there was a pitch silence. You looked in front of you and felt what seemed like a dagger stabbed towards your side waist, blood was dripping and the one who stabbed you was Floch!

“Floch...! Why?! That was not part of the plan!” Mikasa yelled out, and what seemed to be shocked by his action. Everything was going too quickly for you, you placed your hand on his shoulder and shoved him away which made him fall back. You gripped your waist and yelled out, “I-If it’s meant to protect the Prince...Then come at me!”

You heard lot’s of horses approaching and you finally spotted Erwin’s squad who finally came for backup. You noticed Levi by Erwin’s side and as soon as he saw you bleeding, he got provoked and got off from his horse and charged at Mikasa. “An Ackerman with an Ackerman, Hm? Traitor, let me deal with you.”

You let out a sigh, now knowing the Prince is safe and Levi and Erwin’s squad was here to help you guys out. Jean ran towards you and held on to you as you fell down on your knees “Y-Y/N!!”

“Why....Why didn’t you run away?” You said softly and trying to stay conscious, Jean quickly placed his hand on your cheek while the other arm was used to hold your body, “Cause I care about you Damnit!”

You gave him a weak smile and held on his hand that was placed on your cheek, “Did I do...my best to serve you?” Was all you could say and you slowly passed out due to the blood loss you had and you heard Jean's voice drifted slowly.

After a couple of hours have passed, you woke up what seemed to be in a hospital, and you were wrapped around bandages. You moved a bit which made you wince at the pain from your side abdomen.

“Don’t move around! You are still injured and you haven’t healed yet.” A girl with long beautiful blonde hair said, full of concern in her tone as she came closer to you and checked up on you. Her large blue eyes were examining your injury to see if the wound was closed up. “A-And you are?”

“I’m Historia! A nurse who is looking after you. Doctor Hanji told me to stay by your side until you wake up.” She said with a big smile and she looked like an angel to you.

“W-Where is the Prince! Is he okay?!” You said all worried and started to panic. “Haha, Don't worry! He is fine, thanks to you protecting him! He told me to notify him when you wake up but I think you need to rest a bit longer.”

You let out a sigh, ‘At least he is fine...but I want to see him.’ You wondered and looked outside the window to let your thoughts run around your mind as you slowly closed your eyes to rest.

“Y/N...Hey Y/N wake up.” You felt a rub against your shoulders and you opened your eyes to see Prince Jean looking down at you with a relief escaping his mouth. “I’m glad you are looking fine, but are you doing okay?”

You slowly got up which Jean held on your arm for support, “Y-Yea, thanks for stopping by...Jean.” You were blushing at how he suddenly started to caress your arm, then up your shoulders. He went in closer and gave you a tight hug around your shoulders. “Damn it! I thought I was gonna lose you today, that’s it...I'm not backing away with this anymore.” He pulled back, and was looking at your face. “J-Jean...What do you mea-”

“Y/N, I love you. I loved you ever since I first saw you coming and you were always by my side, but in a way that made me feel calm, good and I felt your warmth all the time it would make me fall for you even more everyday...Being with you feels right to me!” He stopped talking and looked away, he was clearly embarrassed on what he just said, the prince was confessing to you and he was finally saying that he was falling in love with you!

You were shocked, was he actually saying this all? Was the Prince actually confessing to you? You couldn't help yourself but smile to what he said and you finally held his hands, “I...I feel the same way too!” You let out now a big smile and tears started to form on your eyes, you felt so happy and so did he.

He looked behind to make sure the door was closed and then looked back at you who was now approaching your face closely and he started to give you a passionate kiss, you held on his hands while he was holding your face, lifting it up and he kept on kissing you. The night had a nice cold breeze and the window was slightly open which made the wind come in and that made your hair flow slowly as you both continued to kiss slowly and gently.

Headcanons Undesputable, 100% Canon Facts I have about Mira Naigus

Okubo didn't give us the time with Naigus that we all deserved so I'm here to make up for his crimes. Here I have a list of headcanons 100% real facts that I made up just now got in an email from Okubo convienently at the same time I said her vibes are too cool to be in the background. Yes this actually happened I promise. No you can't see the email becaus....uh... bc my dog ate it.

I haven't rewatched NOT for a while but I simply did not like the vibes they forced on her so it doesn't exist now because I make the rules (yes this was in the 100% real email Okubo sent me himself)

Really tho I'm sorry but going from super cool camo pants wearing mummy with abs design to the like generic anime teacher lady vibes is like the hugest downgrade in anime history and it simply does not exist. It is not real. I do not see it

Okay actual headcanons now

She was actually really shy and awkward growing up and had trouble speaking up

But she was a really good student and a hard worker even as a kid and did super well even if she was shy

She and Sid were childhood friends and part of why they got along so well was bc they were both really hard workers even when they were young

Idk I also feel like Sid was probably p outspoken as a kid and I kinda like to imagine he was more like B*Star as a kid than he wants to think (idk I like the vibe) and Naigus always really admired that he could be so extroverted and confident

He was probably one of the only other kids her age she could open up to much growing up

They're basically siblings tbh

When she was at DWMA she was usually at the top of her class even if she was so quiet

Even if she's so quiet she's always been really good at staying calm when things go south

She was a band kid in high school and played the oboe

She is one of the absolute best at DWMA at keeping calm under pressure and is really good at thinking on her feet and improvising

Loves working out on the field where she can put that skill to good use and it shows

Sid isn't stupid obv but Naigus is the real brains of the operation bc of how good she is at working in stressful situations

She generally prefers working behind the scenes to get things going and is the backbone of whatever operations she is involved in for sure

In fact the only reason that she didn't become a death scythe is bc she wasn't really comfortable w all of the attention and fame that comes with it and I've ways imagined that death scythe work is mostly like kinda boring compared to basic weapon/meister work (except when the real big stuff goes down) bc I get the feel you would use them as like your big defense line idk?

She looked at it and made a really hard decision to pass on it bc she knew it just wasn't what she wanted

After making that decision she actually left DWMA for a bit

Wasn't really sure she made the right choice in not doing it at first

When she was away from DWMA she worked as a paramedic (which is why she was qualified to be school nurse for a bit when Medusa was found out)

During that she was actually really glad she turned down the opportunity to be a death scythe bc she really likes that fast pace environment

Being a paramedic actually really got her out of her shell and made her more confident as a person and just made her ability to stay calm even better

After a little while she got home sick and went back to DWMA and partnered back with her good pal Sid who was v glad to work w her again

Really proved herself as a great weapon when she returned esp with her experience as a paramedic

Prob brought a really good and fresh perspective to the job bc of it

Is an honorary death scythe because she is a badass

Shes worked really hard to overcome being shy and its really worked out, shes alot more confident now and has no trouble speaking out about things or putting her ideas/strategies out there

But she is still p reserved and is slow in opening up to people especially civilian types

She doesn't really see that as a flaw though and more just accepts it as part of who she is

She would rather show who she is through her actions than through talk anyway

She actually has a really good sense of humor with people she is close to though and is absolutely the funny one between her and Sid

She has a rescue dog (german shepard/husky mix) that she spoils

Has absolutely gone skydiving

Actually really likes to cook when she has time, she makes a really good veggie sauté

She is best girl (fact)

Good morning lord Sheogorath! Or evening. Depends on if you consider 2am as late or early. Still, it's Sunday so it counts. I haven't gone to bed yet, sorry if I'm a bit loopy, I'm very tired.

To answer your question about traveling to the moon: I'm nowhere near knowledgeable about the moon landing program but I believe a few journeys were made (5-6) at some point. But it's been decades since that, so it's great that they've decided to go again. Who knows, maybe they'll find a way for common people to go... I could use some holiday on the moon...

It's been an eventful week - not for me personally, but worldwide. Started with a lot of suspense, turned weird Thursday and Friday, and ended with some good news. So I'd call that a well rounded week. (As for me; we're in lockdown where I am, so I didn't do much)

How has your week been? I saw you had an interesting moment with Abnur, so I feel congratulations are somewhat in order! (Tho maybe a little anticipated).

Suspense with a good ending sounds like a lot of fun to me! But... lockdown? Again?

My week has been good, very peaceful. Although I think I have a new project in mind. Two words: cheese voriplasm. I ate one of those in a dream and now I must recreate it! It will be, at the very least, amusing.

Congrats on 2.5k!! You're an amazing artist, and have no idea on how many times I've read your fics 😂 even tho I'm kinda shy to comment... sorry, I'll try to work on that 😅 Can I get a 🔥 for Narnia, Newsies and Harry Potter Next-Generation?

I'm a straight girl, INFP, Hufflepuff, Daughter of Athena (in Percy Jackson universe 😂). I really like to read, and watch movies or TV series, theater or... anything that tells a story, I really don't care about the media as long as they have a good story to tell. I also really like writing, I really write a lot about what I think, or some poems, or even have tried writing songs, but I have no music knowledge so... lol. I really love music, I've loved music since I can remember, and I'm currently trying to learn how to play guitar.

To me, the most important thing that I have are my friends, I appreciate them more that anything in this life and would give my life for them. But I'm not an affectionate person, it's kind of rare when I'm openly about how much I love them, and only with real close friends I tell them a little more often how much they mean to me, and I'm not really into physical touch either, just with really close people.

I love long talks where I can talk about... anything. I have so many thoughts about so many things, and I'd really like to share them with someone, and that person to tell me what they think too. I'm open minded, and if someone doesn't agree with me it's ok, but I really like to debate and be able to see everyone's point of view.

I don't tend to say when I'm feeling down, and I'm kind of good at hiding it, (I hide my feelings with humor lol) so... I have to be really sad to let people know about it (and just really close ones). I don't feel comfortable letting other people know when I'm not feeling well, and even if they know it's still rare that they could help me so... I just feel with it on my own (even tho it would be nice to have someone there sometimes). On the contrary, I'm always there to help everyone. Most my friends come to me for advice and I help them the best I can. So... I'm kind of the therapist friend that no one check how is doing lol

You could say I'm kind of a geek? Nerd? Whatever xD but I like to have fun (like... it's easier to get out of trouble when you're one of the "good kids" in class 👀 I still follow most of the rules tho, just know how to have my ways sometimes). I'm kind of the stereotype for Ravenclaw, but I'm a Hufflepuff xD so yeah... I really like music, and musical theater, and lots of reading. Love to spend time with my friends, but really enjoy time with myself. I spend most of my day daydreaming, and don't like to follow rules lol (But I'm the voice of reason with my friends. I don't like rules, but follow them... if it's necessary) . I hate people who are selfish, or that don't care about others. Also hate people who manipulate others or that get into "friendships" just to get something out of it (those are fake friends so).

I ship you with James Sirius Potter!

so first of all, james sirius is one of those dorky jocks who is made up of lame jokes, poorly timed finger-guns, an inexplicable talent in school (despite rarely studying), and persuasion skills that somehow work on even the strictest of teachers.

it is from this that the rivalry between you is born. james sirius potter doesn’t have to do anything! he can run a hand through his god awful hair, give a teacher a grin, and his entire year is set. he can skip lessons for quidditch, where you get extra work when you were sick with dragon pox! it’s not fair that james sirius potter gets to waltz through this school like he’s all that, and the rest of you have to suffer.

at first, the rivalry wasn’t that bad, you just rolled your eyes in class whenever his obnoxious “thanks, professor” was heard over the din, or whenever you went to quidditch matches and he showed off on his broom, instead of doing his job as seeker (at which he was pretty good, not that you’d admit it).

BUT THEN,,,,, you become herbology partners, and things get bad. fast.

you get that harry potter is friends with neville but really? neville, head of gryffindor house, the most just of gryffindors, is letting james sirius potter leave class 20 minutes early because he has quidditch practice? practice that, mind you, doesn’t start until AFTER class has ended? your professor leaves you to do the work of two people all on your own because james sirius potter said it was cool that neville cut the head off of nagini? come on! everyone says that!

so you end up having to do extra work, which leaves less time for your other classes, and you have to do it in herbology - a class that has the potential to be deadly when difficult.

it’s not a week until you march up to gryffindor tower (which is a pain on the legs, especially since your common room is in the basement) and wait for james sirius to show his sorry face. he doesn’t come down until lunch time, and then you have to follow him down to the great hall, because he “didn’t have breakfast” and he needs to eat “for quidditch.” it’s annoying, and yet he’s smiling the whole time?

you tell him he can’t leave class early - you almost had your finger bitten off the other day because no one else was there to hold down the plant while you tried to pick off it’s petals.

he says he can’t, but he’ll do your essays or whatever. “that’s plagiarism, you realize that?” “alright, then i’ll give you my notes.” “you don’t take notes.” “then i’ll start.”

and this is clearly going nowhere, so you sigh and leave.

it’s probably not even two weeks later when you are going to neville. he’s the head of gryffindor house and the one who made this arrangement. can’t he do something? the professor tells you that he chose you to team up with james sirius because he knows you can handle it on your own - and then he gave you some lame excuse about why james sirius needed the extra time, something about him about to be promoted to team captain at the end of the year or whatever.

and next class, for the little time that james sirius is working with you, he teases you about how you went to the professor. it annoys you to no end.

about a week later, you come down with a cold - madam pomfrey says a lot of it is due to stress, and while she gives you a potion to help you out, your still sick for two days. the day you get better, it’s the weekend and you get up early with the plan to get to the teachers before the quidditch game starts and ask beg them for less homework, or at the very least pick up what you missed. it’s early - almost everyone is still asleep, and when you walk out of the common room, you see..... james sirius potter? he asks if you’re alright - he heard you were sick for a couple days. you’re a little too tired for this, so you just answer his questions, no complaining. he then hands you a stack of parchment. “what is this?” “notes, for the classes you missed.” “oh.” “and i know how you feel about the rules, so i didn’t actually write you a herbology essay, but i did give you a good outline.” “oh.... thanks.” “’course.” and he gives you one of his awkward smiles and a solitary finger gun. you roll your eyes, but wish him luck in the game. he’s a little shocked, but you say it’s against ravenclaw, and their egos need to be taken down a peg.

and from there you are a little softer toward james sirius, but he’s still annoying as hell.

i have a very vivid idea of you having gone to a quidditch game, and gryffindor, of course, won. you decide to wait in the stands until everyone clears out, because it’s easier that way, and you want to finish your popcorn, anyway. james sirius has lingered on the pitch with the current quidditch captain, and when he sees that you’re one of the few still lingering, he goes up to meet you. he sits down next to you and steals a bit of you popcorn, which makes you roll your eyes, and he says something like “i didn’t expect you to wait for me.” “i wasn’t.” “sure.” and the two of you sit there for a moment, james coming down from the high of winning, sharing the remnants of your popcorn. it starts to drizzle and james uses his wand to make an umbrella, and the two of you start up a conversation about whatever - definitely not school related, and not even quidditch related, just something out of the blue. it’s not until all of the popcorn is gone and it’s raining in earnest that the two of you walk to the castle, james laughing at his own jokes and you smiling despite yourself.

i also imagine that, when the two of you become better friends, james sirius has a quidditch accident where he maybe breaks his arm or something. you get to go into mom mode, and james sirius teases you, saying that he “didn’t know you cared.” and it’s reminiscent of the dialogue above, but instead of denying it, you say “of course i do, you idiot.”

alright i went off (and now i want to write a fic about this) but i think the two of you would be really cute together because james sirius would love to talk with you about everything. he has a whole lot of siblings, and as the oldest is great at keeping conversation and he’s also actually really good at reading a room, despite what he may pretend. he would know when you’re feeling bad, and he’s also really good at accurately finding your insecurities and then boosting your self-esteem in exact ways.

and i also think that you and james sirius are music enthusiasts. if you are a pureblood, he introduces you to the wonders of muggle music, and if you are a half-blood or muggle born, you bond over your favorite muggle artists.

also, i have this headcanon that james sirius learns the guitar so he can be a certified heartthrob™ and no doubt he got the idea from you - you were in the hufflepuff common room just messing around, and he notices your guitar. maybe you learn together?

and while james sirius isn’t much of a reader, he loves movies more than anything else, so the two of you definitely have marathons.

Narnia:

I ship you with Peter Pevensie!

alright, the two of you would have the sweetest, most supportive relationship I’ve ever had the pleasure of writing

this one is a certified friends to lovers because from day one, the two of you get along really well together. even though peter is a little more extroverted, he’s the older brother and has a lot of introverted tendencies because he’s tired™

there is nothing that peter would love more than going on a walk through the gardens with you, talking about your interests - he likes to steer the topics to what you like to do because (1) he likes the way your eyes light up when you talk about what you love, and (2) he is tired of talking about himself. as king, he’s only ever talking about the problems he’s facing, or big problems that cover all of narnia. the smaller interests you have are his respite, his chance to have a bit of normalcy, as a high king.

you are also both hufflepuffs, so you’re fiercely loyal to those you love, and you’re both hard workers - stopping at nothing to do what needs to be done. you are both there to bolster the other in their efforts, but also get them to relax at the end of the day, since caring as much as you do and working as much as you do is the definition of exhausting.

you’re also the parent couple! we have peter, the dad friend (complete with the worst dad jokes you have ever heard. they’re even worse when they’re “king” jokes which are like dad jokes 2.0) and you, the mom friend! together, you make sure that your friends (and subjects) are well taken care of. and you act like stand in parents for edmund and lucy, which is not only exhausting but rewarding.

now, even though peter is a very affectionate person, more than that he’s thoughtful and the moment he realizes you don’t like that, he’ll stop. he’s more than happy to just be near you - reading books or pouring over documents with your input (because he definitely gets your input on issues of state).

he also becomes big on getting you flowers or making you food (because headcanon that peter learns to cook in the cair paravel kitchens!). peter just has a lot of feelings, and as long as he has a way to express them, he’s good.

he loves it when you give him praise, so whenever the two of you are stargazing and you compliment him, he blushes deeply. use this power wisely, because he will blush a deep red, and it’s a little awkward when he’s the definition of heart eyes in the middle of a privy council.

Newsies:

I ship you with Crutchie!

alright, so you and crutchie are, once again, a really sweet couple.

crutchie loves your way with words - you have a tiny notebook that he got you as a present, one year, and you are constantly writing poetry in them. you will often show him your work, and he’s astounded with your level of craftsmanship. he’s told you on multiple occasions that you should write one of those poetry books that he sees well-to-do men buy for those they love, and you get al bashful, one of his favorite looks.

also, both of you are dreamers. you definitely have lots of talks together, usually when you’re doing something absent minded like mending clothes or selling on the same corner, and you talk at length about what you want for this world, and what you hope to do in it. crutchie has a big imagination, and so do you. sometimes, the two of you see who can make up the best, most random story.

also! in a high school! au the two of you are the sweetest, most unsuspecting rule breakers ever. i mean, you’re friends with race and albert, after all, there has to be a chaotic streak in you somewhere. everyone is genuinely surprised when they realize that you and crutchie have snuck out of class and pulled the fire alarm before.

the two of you are also big readers. i imagine that crutchie likes mystery novels a lot. idk why, exactly, but he loves sherlock holmes, so the two of you not only read books together, but rate the different versions of sherlock holmes adaptations. (modern! au, of course, unless benedict cumberbatch is making tv series in 1899)

you debate over which of you is watson and which one of you is holmes. you’re both really smart, so it’s hard to say which one of you gets sherlock rights.

also, both of you are really good at hiding when you are hurting or in pain. and yet, both of you are also really good at spotting it in the other, seeing as you know the tells of hiding. i think you are both really empathetic and would be good with each other - leaning on each other when necessary and always being attentive of the other. all around, you’re a great match.

also, in a modern! au crutchie would love the percy jackson series. the two of you would riot over the terrible live-action movie and be very excited when the disney+ series comes out (here’s to hoping they don’t botch it)
