I've been trying to figure out why Louis would want to give this interview to Daniel, and have come to the conclusion that, given how he's altered the way he describes his relationship with Lestat, he's doing it because he's fallen back in love with Lestat, and can't bear the thought of this interviewer thinking poorly of him. Y'all?

So I thought I’d make a post with my predictions for the next 3 episodes (some of which may have been influenced by others - I never know if I thought something independently of others who had the same thought, lol). 

I’m gonna add a percentage of how convinced I am that this is happening

May Day: 

We get a moment where Eddie worries for Buck’s safety at last. - 80%

Eddie actually saves Buck/reaches for him and helps him out. - 75%

Buck and Eddie hug - 50%

Eddie (with or without Buck) ends up saving Bobby, which ultimately proves that he’s ready to come back to the team - 35%

Hero Complex: 

It is revealed through a flashback 30% or a conversation 70% (with Eddie’s sister 40%, Eddie’s father 35%, Eddie’s mother 15%, Pepa 10%) that Eddie had a very close friendship with a boy in his teens, and that this friendship was a bit more than just friendship to Eddie. - 65%

If the above is true, it is also revealed that Ramon’s comments and/or behavior (which wasn’t aggressively homophobic but indirectly so) influenced Eddie feeling ashamed for it and not pursuing it, pushing these feelings down far into adulthood. - 90% 

Eddie decides he no longer wants to hide who he is - 90%

Eddie also talks about how, even though he loved Shannon, he didn’t love her the right way and shouldn’t have married her. - 90%

Jonah is revealed to have meddled with several patients to play the hero and save the day. - 99% 

Jonah is responsible for the Dispatch Fire. - 30%

Starting Over:

Eddie comes out to May very directly. - 50%

Eddie comes out to May indirectly (meaning he doesn’t say he’s ‘label XY/in love with Buck’ but that he thinks he finally figured out who he wants to be, and then looks at Buck in a way that tells May what he means, or something of the sort). - 65%

The wedding is Toni/Clive - 50%

The wedding is Madney - 25%

The wedding is Buck/Taylor, but Buck doesn’t go through with it because Eddie asks him if this is really what he wants; it’s a call-back to Buck making Eddie see sense about Ana and comes full circle. - 20%

The wedding isn’t a wedding but the Henren vow renewal. - 5% (Sorry, but I’m just not buying it)

Whether it is their wedding or not, Buck breaks up with Taylor. - 99.9%

If it wasn’t their wedding, Eddie still is the one who finally makes Buck realize he isn’t clinging to the relationship because he wants to, but because he’s afraid of being left again. Again, a full circle come back to the Eddie/Ana breakup. - 75%

If it’s not the BT wedding, then Buck, Eddie and Chris are dancing together (no Buddie slow dance, I’m sorry, but I don’t see that happening). - 40%

Buck moves in with Eddie and leaves the loft to Taylor. - 45%

Taylor moves away (which would be her decision about her future). - 55%

The show ends on a note that a) establishes that Eddie is either gay (80%) or bi (10%) or doesn’t label it but is into men (10%) - and b) that he is going to pursue Buck eventually, after Buck has had some time to re-adjust after the breakup. - 85%

I might add to this later. But so far, those are my predictions.

Despite its name, the owlbear is in fact neither owl nor bear - it is a large species of rodent whose external incisors resemble a curved "beak." The enamel of these incisors is colored brown because of iron compounds. This hard substance wears down at a slower rate than the regular tooth, thus producing a sharp edge at the tooth tip.

It is thought that owlbears are evolved from smaller burrowing rodents who made use of their external teeth as digging implements. Their ancestors lacked external pinnae, but the modern owlbear's fur grows in an owl-like facial disk to direct sound -- a case of convergent evolution.

The majority of the fandom seems convinced the “surprise wedding” will be a Henren vow renewal. But I’m just not convinced and never have been. Not that there’d be anything bad about it - it would be sweet - but I think it would be kind of ‘pointless’. There’s nothing in the narrative so far that suggests Hen and Karen need to start over in any way, or to strengthen their bond; there wasn’t a crisis or struggle or something that would make the renewal a significant step. It would just be sweet, but not serve any other narrative purpose, imho. 

So what does that leave? I always thought Toni/Clive, but then again, we haven’t seen them at all this half of the season, so that, too, would be a little pointless. 

Madney is a possibility. Them getting back together and deciding they do not want to wait any longer. They’re a family, partners, they belong together, and that break they took only showed them how much. We’d have to get some more development between them in the next two episodes for that to work, but I find it possible. 

Lastly - and hear me out - what if it’s Buck/Taylor? Buck has been so set on “making this work”; he thinks there is a scientific method to determine whether two people can actually enter a functioning marriage; he was there when that guy, whose heart was in the wrong place, wanted to get married. Narratively, and from the subtext we’ve had recently in regards of hearts (not only surrounding Eddie any longer), it would make sense. And it certainly would be a “surprise” wedding. 

But that wedding can’t actually take place. Buck needs to start over, not continue his “fake it ‘til you make it” path with Taylor. And he will do so after Eddie comes back from Texas, where he’s confronted his parents and the decisions he made in his past - wrong decisions that prevented him from living the life he actually wanted to live (as already set up in FOMO). 

What if it’s a callback - just this time much more impactful - to Buck pointing out the flaw in Eddie’s reasoning to be with Ana? What if Eddie asks Buck if he really wants to marry Taylor, for him, for what his heart truly wants (instead of just staying on this path, proving to himself that he can make this functioning relationship work despite all the struggles - which is not a good basis for a marriage)? 

What if Eddie’s realizations about his own life are now what ‘saves’ Buck from making a huge mistake - Eddie returning the support Buck has been offering him in that way? 

It would be super dramatic and quite fanfic-y if this wedding was a Buck leaving Taylor at the altar situation, but we’ve already had subtext that points to this. We had the whole Marriage on First Sight situation with Buck and his naive enthusiasm for it at the center. I wouldn’t bet a huge sum on this possibility, but the more I think about it, the likelier I find it. 

It would also be a great way to reinforce how important Buck and Eddie are to each other, how they save each other, know each other better than anyone else (another callback to the balcony scene). And if Eddie actually does make the decision to finally be his true self and come out - maybe not to everyone yet, maybe not instantly, but deciding this is where his own path is going - then it would be the perfect setup for canon buddie in season 6.

Most Silurians who were present in the planet's underground represent the gentry and high ranking military, who were given priority in the earth-based shelters. Most others were evacuated on large, extensive spaceships, all of which are yet to return to Earth. Due to this, the varied mindsets and cultures of the Silurians are in shambles at best, largely replaced by the speciesism and real estate concerns of the upper classes. (1) Much later, the original type fossil was identified as Rohlik, a student who fell to his death after attempting to drunkenly pole vault over a ravine with a large petrified stick.

I often heard screaming in the dead of night while camping in the dense German forests. One night, I decided to investigate. I discovered the culprit to be the tiny Devil’s Bat, a fitting name for sure. Who knew such a small creature could make such terrible noise?

The eyespots on the legs also gave me a fright… I thought I had locked gazes with some sort of demon!
